Who was better in the ring: Rock or Austin

What gets to me now, after I have failed to read all the posts because it has nothing but Austin sack lovers :banghead:, is that no one is thinking clearly. John Cena 'could' learn to be technical but would he be great at it? No. Why? The man cannot move and has no body coordination. I am suprise he doesn't miss with his knuckle shuffle. Point being anyone can learn if they care enough or if Vince wants them to. Anyway, with The Rock being so agile, strong, and quick, he could be so technical as to "work around (you lamers like to use this phrase so much)" cruiserweights. Stone Cold doing that? Noooo don't thinks so. I do not want to go on and on with stuff that should be obvious, if The Rock trained as much as Stone Cold has, wrestled in the time Stone Cold has (obviously length but also era), and even cared HALF as much as Stone Cold has about wrestling, there would be NO comparison in wrestling skills or capability. The only truth is that Stone Cold has trained longer and harder, wrestled longer and in the better era, and cared way more about wrestling than The Rock, enough to have done these things. And you all know it but continue to leave out the bottom truth. All Vince had to do is ask The Rock to be anything else or more and he would have. In-ring is all about what you can do, and just because The Rock did not HAVE to or hasn't had as much experience with it doesn't mean he couldn't do it better! DUH! Oh by the way while you all dare compare matches, The Rock had the better matches with The Undertaker. Stone Cold's match with The Undertaker was pathetic:lol:

The nod goes to Austin because like jncwrestling said Austin had trained far more than the Rock had and had more passion for wrestling. But, the Rock could have been far better then Stone Cold had he been training his whole life like most 2nd or 3rd generation superstars. Also, I hope jncwrestling isn't talking about Stone Colds match with Taker at summerslam 98' because that was faaaar from "pathetic".

i like both there styles rock was more athletic, high impact, just for the camera type of wrestler, very hyper, and very stylish and graceful, austin was more realistic, lots of punches stomps, eye rake, low blow, however he was still solid and could be technical if needed, i will say austin because he told a story more than rock and showed faults and emotions in his character, rock at times just seems to do anything that looks flashy for the camera, and doesn't tell a story like austin does but they both have great ring ability.
