Who Should TNA Sign?

I am telling you all Shannon Moore and Paul London. Both are extremely talented and deserve decent shots in a company. WWE is not that company. Moore suits the TNA X-Division style and would be a great fit. Possible a great X-Division Champion. Same goes for London. He has shown all those who watched his year long tag team champion reign. He would also fit the Highflying style. I believe these two would do nothing but good for TNA wrestling.

You know they could get really far with this Front Line and MEM story line here. With Ric he could come in as a face and kind of...wheel kind of lead the front line so it evens out a little experience. (Getting Ric to sign is next to impossible so that's not a option)

RVD. He looked great in the Rumble last night. He could come in as a heel and join the MEM just to even out numbers a bit. Thats very hard to do because for a return it is almost impossible to set them heel. Like This goes for Flair also. Say Flair's music hit, No matter how bad he bashes the Front Line no one will care every one will just stand up and yell "WOOOO WOOOO WOOOO" And also RVD's wife is a complete bitch and wont let him wrestle so there goes that.

So who should they sign???

Tajiri - If he would move over here He could be a great X-Divsion Champ.

Nigel McGuinness (probably spelled wrong) - TNA needs mid-card heels and global stars so perfecto.

Lets see what else do they need? How about a WWE star? That's not washed up? Eligah Burke! More Mid-card heel I'm Loving this! Once we get Jay Lethal heel I can see tag team.

And also RVD's wife is a complete bitch and wont let him wrestle so there goes that.

The woman has cancer. What the hell do expect? He's supporting his wife. He makes more money in his rumble appearance, than probably he would in a year in TNA.

Instead of TNA signing former WWE names, or older guys, I say they need to hired some indy talent, something mainstream audiences haven't seen before. With that being said, I think they need to hire The Briscoe Brothers. It's hard for me to whether TNA cares about their tag team division or not at this point (though recently it really doesn't seem that way), but The Briscoes could definitly bring some well needed attention to it. And I think they need to hired Bryan Danielson. Give him a good heavyweight push and we might get a much needed fresh face in the world title picture in TNA.

I really think they should work on their X-Division more than anything else. They had Ultimo Guerrero come in last year for the World X Cup Tournament, but I can only assume that that was a one time deal and that he is currently contracted with CMLL. Ideally, I would love to see them woo Mistico, but I am not sure when his contract with CMLL is up, or to what lengths CMLL would go to keep him (he is pretty much the biggest wrestling star in Mexico right now). Besides these two gentleman, I would love to see them bring in Takuya Sugi and PAC, two awesome independent wrestlers. While PAC is pretty much good to go, Sugi needs a little bit more work. However, Sugi's spots are the sickest I have ever seen, and, if he can lessen his botches and improve his basics, then this guy will be even better than Mistico.

i totally agree with tyler black and austin aries. i think that they could be brought in either as a tag team or as a feud.
used properly, they have great potential. potential that tna never saw when they had austin at their disposal.

tyler has great matches. (although i'd hate to break up age of the fall, but tna has alex shelly, they don't need jimmy jacobs.)

but i must say that what tna needs right now is workers who know how to tell a story in the ring, but not huge stars who will cost seven figures a year. guys like red dogg rodney mack, rod price, d. lo brown, or john hiedenriech, just for starters.

the young guys in tna need to work with guys who can paint a picture, so to speak, if there is to be a future for this organization. they have all the physical ability that one could ask for, but if they cannot use it to advance the plot, it's just all so much gymnastics.

i saw rodney mack recently. he looks great. and his wife is one of the best women wrestlers ever, so they should get her, too. it bothers me that there are no black knockouts who aren't heels, anyway.

as far as cutting anyone, i see no point. i've seen independents with more than thirty wrestlers on any given night. tna just needs to effectively use the boys they have. i could come up with plot points for each and every one.

I don't know if it would ever happen, but if TNA could get a hold on RVD they would be in a great spot. I know I would start watching TNA alot more if they had him. Sabu would also be a good one for TNA because they might give him more room to shine. The problem with WWE is they wouldn't let Sabu or RVD do what they do best, be extreme. TNA would do it, and the two would probably become close to the biggest stars on the brand. Like I said, they probably couldn't get them, but it would be amazing if they did.

O well I didn't know she had cancer. And yea, If he was to wrestle at all it would be for WWE
Yeah, she has either breast cancer, or maybe ovaries? Can't remember which. But WWE would be better, I think they would use him well. There's nothing wrong with grabbing wwe stars. If ya wanna go big, you need recognizable names. Justin Credible would be good, he does INdy shows in my area, he still has it.

I got a TNA text message that says another big name has invested in TNA. It then says something about finding out who SHE is. I've asked them to stop sending these messages, but in any event, I wonder who she is.

I don't think there is any woman in wrestling, short of Linda McMahon that could add anything to TNA that is substantial. That isn't sexist, you are welcome to correct me if I am wrong.

It is also clear to me that TNA should sign some better announcers. I think that if TNA signs anyone it should be Tony Schiavone. He would be an awesome addition. West and TNA get too excited about small stuff and then don't properly sell the big moments. Time and again we here "WHAT A SPRINGBOARD!!!!!" and then "we have a new champion." Schiavone has called big moments before. Tenay and West seem to be lost. Tony has been the guy on the stick in a major wrestling war. Tenay and West would drop down and blow McMahon. Tony has been the lead announcer on the number one show in wrestling. Tenay and West are hopeless. I am watching Booker and Nash do a much better job joking around on the mic. They have made TNA more enjoyable. A broadcast booth of Tony Schivone and Mick Foley would make this show better.

I agree with several of the choices I saw in looking through the thread.

First and foremost is someone who can really make a splash instantly. For this I'd use a guy who could be a main eventer after only a little while. I think RVD or Kennedy.......Kennnedy would be perfect for this kind of thing. RVD obviously isn't a regular anymore but throwing money at him might persuade him to come over to TNA eventually. Also Kennedy if he can just stay healthy, I still say is a future world champ. Both these guys could also help out the Frontline in the current storyline and make for some more main event level guys in that group to better balance out with MEM. Of course then there is the obvious choice...Christian. It has not been confirmed if either company has signed Christian, so we really don't know what the deal is with that. But if I were TNA, I'd do everything I could to get him back.

Aside from that, Tommy Dreamer seems like a good choice. He can put on a good match, but was just never given an opportunity in WWE. Also Vampiro is very intriguing..we haven't seen him in awhile, and imo he had a great character and he seemed like he was really starting to get over back in wCw.

And on a more humorous note I saw someone mention announcing which would be great. Don West is god awful and generally right up there with the worst announcers of the year (Adamle got the nod for this past year naturally). I'm not too familiar with announcers they could try, but Tony Schiavone definitely comes to mind and maybe even Mick Foley if can he eventually get out of the spotlight.

This is a tuff one to think on. TNA is definitley on the rise, and just needs a few more pieces to offically hit the big time. One person I would shoot for would be Bret Harts son, I think he is his son. He was in WSX. I would also invest in getting Kane. I say Kane because he should be a multi-time world Champ. But in the 10+ years in WWE he has only had two. The only problem is, they would need to really use these guys.

Some other people to consider.
1. Elijah Burk
2. Billy Kidman
3. Paul London
4. Sandman (just dont punk him like WCW did)
5. Kenny Dykstra
6. Vito
7. Shannon Moore (though i have heard he might be back)
8. Rob Conway
9. Rene Dupree
10. Justin Credible

I would like to see them sign jake christ from hwa its a local indy promotion near me and had some greats there like lance cade dlo brown umaga val venis etc. but thats me getting off topic anyway the guys mic skills are pretty decent and he is the current hwa heavyweight champion since july and he could put on good matches in the x divsion with shelly and sabin

My first choice was RVD, and since he seems to be the popular choice, I won't go in depth as to explainging my opinion.

My other choice is Super Crazy. If they're going to give Hernandez a big push as a singles wrestler, then Homicide and Super Crazy would be a great tag team. It would catch the attention of the fans of the original ECW, and would instantly give a boost to their tag division. He was amazing in the ring, and could carry a match if he needed to. He could also be a great singles wrestler in the X Division, if they didn't want to use him as a tag team wrestler. Every match would be a new match for him, as I don't think he's faced anyone in the TNA X Division before, and the possibilities for feuds are endless.

Id obviously say ,anyone WWE let go but Cade & Murdoch might be too much like Beer Money.Same with Chris Masters & Matt Morgan..On his own Im sure TNA could find A Paul London TypE.RVD? yes, there is the marijuwana thing but he,s a name & good enough for the Rumble, remember Booker was held joint responsible under the WellnesS stick, troo or not..Hollys age & rehab might count against, him same with Val .It WoulD be great to see Sid again but.
I saw a nearby town in my area had an indy show & special guests were Rene Dupree & Pierre Lafitte,,,LaResistance!.Okay,we,re not talking World Champ here, but it would give TNA a euro flava, the tags another string & Rene could do a Val type Bonjour Ladies AnD a Regal type snotiness.
Dare I ask,is Lashley interested?

I think they should sign Muhammed Hassan, give him Sheik abdul Bashir's gimmick, or put them together. They were great in WWE, until of course the beheading thing. They were able to get under your skin so easily. I think great talent thye could use better than WWE did.

Why don't they give Paul London a call? He could do pretty good with the X-Division over there. Or they could try Sean Waltman for a bit if he's cleaned up.
