I've got a few I would like to see pushed toward the Major Title of each brand;
RAW
"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters: Before the whole drug rehab deal, Masters was showing spots of greatness, and had matured so far in ring wise since his debut a year prior. His microphone skills were developing, he was getting over and the Masterlock" had been recieved as a viable Submission Hold. A bit of a dark horse, yes but I would still love to see Masters as WWE or World Heavyweight Champion before year's end. I hope he cleans up his act and gets back on RAW soon.
Matt Styker: Now before you go all "Hey, hold up! Matt Stryker is no where near WWE Title material!" let me just admit, yes you're right. This guy does however ooze charisma, and his in ring skills are great to boot. He's been buried lately after that horrid feud with Eugene, (and now getting squashed in Tag Team Matches with Conway, another guy I'd like to see get a push) and it's a shame he isn't mixing it up in the Intercontinental Title hunt. Lets hope WWE comes to their senses and realizes what a huge star the dude could be.
SMACKDOWN!
Finlay: How does a guy take so many years off from active competition and come back better thank ever? I had absolutely zero interest in Finlay during his entire stay in WCW, but ever since his return to the WWE I have been marking like crazy for the guy. If all things go well, the US Title should NOT be the last singles title Finlay wears before calling it a career.
The Boogeyman: The wrestlecrap at best, and his in ring skills are horrible, but Marty Wright just pulls off the character so well that I can't get enough of it. Injuries have however plagued the guy, and no matter how much ol' Vinnie Mac loves him it might just be too risky of an investment to put that kind of focus on the Boogeyman. I however would love to see him in a Main Event run.
EC F'N W
~ I'll save my opinions on this "NEW" ECW for a thread that actually pertains to it, so allow me to bite my tongue and give you the names of guys I'd like to see in the ECW Title hunt.
Justin Credible: Seeing Credible get OWNED by Angle on the first edition of ECW on Sci Fi really ticked me off. Credible, in ECW's darkest times was a brightspot on the shows. Sure most backlashed at his "Jesus Push" to the top, but Credible worked his tail off to be one of the top guys, seeing him be treated as little less than a jobber on ECW saddens me. Pair him with Francine once again, please! And give Credible another shot!
CM Punk: I hated Punk because all of the little internet smarks deemed him a god of wrestling, but over the past two weeks he has drawn me in with his promo work. If his skills are anything like the legions of fans say they are I could see him mixing it up in the top soon.
Sabu: In an ECW dominated by Angle and the Big Show, Sabu needs one last run atop a promotion, or it'll never happen again.
