Which match do you wish had happened at Wrestlemania?

Davey Boy Smith vs Bret Hart part 2...

We all know the first one was at Summerslam 92 and their eventual rematch, with the big belt on the line didn't come until In Your House 5, some 3 years later. By then Davey was the heel and Bret the World champion.

The Warrior roid bust did for Davey and that's why this match didn't take place when it should have done... Wrestlemania 9... Assume Davey Boy isn't fired...

He goes through to Survivor Series 92 where he drops the IC to Shawn Michaels but he is furious that his "#1 contendership" as IC champion wasn't honored, allowing Bret to win the World title from Flair, this is compounded when Shawn is selected to face Bret at the Rumble 93... Davey Boy wins the Royal Rumble to finally get his shot at the big belt at Wrestlemania 9. eliminating Yokozuna impressively and finally eliminating Razor Ramon for the win.

In the lead up to Mania he and Bret become more tense with each other leading to a 6 man tag match where Bret, Randy Savage and Davey team against Yokozuna, Shawn and Crush. Davey Boy let's Yoko Banzai drop both his partners and peels Bret up to hit a Powerslam... Davey is now full heel and takes on Jim Cornette as his manager leading to the Mania main event.

He and Bret have another epic bout, this time Bret comes out the victor when Hulk Hogan prevents Cornette's interference and Bret is able to turn the Powerslam into a cradle for the pin. Davey Boy is furious and gets in Hogan's face, setting a match up the first King of The Ring between them.

They then have a rubber match down the line... that's when I'd have put the belt on Davey... but hey... they went with the clusterfuck of Yoko/Hogan winning...

Not sure if you were aware, but apparently the Main Event for Wrestlemania 9, if you believe Bret Hart was to be Bret Hart vs Ultimate Warrior. Their feud was to kick off at the 1993 Royal Rumble, but as you correctly stated, he and Bulldog got suspended and fired in November 1992, and Razor Ramon was put into place as the title contender and Yokozuna was pushed into the bnumber 1 heel role. Where the returning Hulk Hogan would have fitted in to that scenario is open to conjecture, but I guarantee Hogan doesnt beat Warrior in 30 seconds after the match, as Hart stated he was booked to beat Warrior by shaprshooter if the matcn happened.

They always go on about Wrestle Mania moments and Mick Foley never had his defining moment at the grandest stage of all. If i had to choose a match that should of taken place at Mania it would be the match from King Of The Ring 1998 the infamous Hell In A Cell match against The Undertaker.

Imagine the crowds reaction when Mankind is thrown off the top of the cell, The shock and disbelief when he picks himself up off the stretcher and climbs back up the cage to restart the match.

I honestly think if this match was to happen at Wrestle Mania XIV it would not only be one of the WWE'S iconic moments but could possibly be head to head with Hulk body slamming Andre.

I definitely think that the match to determine the first ever Undisputed Champion in history should have taken place at Wrestlemania, rather than at a minor PPV like Vengeance, the match was so huge it should have been fought on the grandest stage of them all, and could have been promoted as THE BIGGEST MATCH IN WRESTLEMANIA HISTORY!

The tournament to find the 2 competitors could have been held at the PPV the month before, with the semi finals (the individual WWE and WCW title matches) at the final Raw before Wrestlemania, ensuring massive ratings, as fans tune in to see which two superstars will clash in the main event of Wrestlemania 18.

Personally, I don't think Chris Jericho was the right man to win the Undisputed Title, he wasn't on the same level as the likes of The Rock, Steve Austin and Kurt Angle. By holding the final match at Wrestlemania, Triple H would have returned from injury by that time and could have been entered into the tournament. Judging by the huge reaction he received when he came back in the January of 2002, Triple H should have been the man to win this tournament, becoming the first Undisputed Champion in history.

I had heard this, and that Davey Boy was initially slated for Doink but Diana put the "They're making fun of you" seed in his head...

But to me, Davey v Bret at Wembley was so good they needed to follow it up, whatever people's views on the roid/circumstances of the firings...Davey Boy was perhaps the one who they missed most at Mania 9... They didn't NEED the Warrior by then, but Davey could have been a major part of 93 had he still been there.

Hogan/flair. They wrestled many house shows but never at mania. Hhh/rock/angle. It happened at ss and shoulda been at mania. Hhh/rock ladder match from ss. Great match great ending and moment w/hhh holding up ic title on top of da ladder spent w/dx celebrating w/him. Da 1nite tourney 2 crown da 1st ever undisputed champion that had angle/Austin rock/jericho.

RVD vs HBK

I believe these 2 had one match together on Raw but to let them go all out at WM back in the day would have been a sight to see

Theres so many dream matchups...I could list them for days.

But if I didnt alter the course of history, then honestly I would have loved to see Michaels/Hart 2 @ WM13. Theres no telling the kind of match those two would have put on at Mania with tensions so high. No ironman match. No screwjob. Just a rematch but this time with the heat turned up and a clearcut face/heel program. Would have been awesome.

But like I said...without altering the course of history because Austin/Hart at WM13 was one of the best ever.

I'd go with,

Eddie Guerrero Vs Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 22.

Just imagine this match! These two NEVER Faced off ever. One for the ages.

And Kurt Angle Vs The Undertaker, also WrestleMania 22.

Fantastic! I've been dying for Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania

Hulk Hogan/Ric Flair for WrestleMania 8 definitely comes to mind. That match should've happened and I still don't understand why it didn't happen. I mean, Flair/Savage was a great match and was also WrestleMania worthy, but not before Hogan/Flair. I mean, weren't they saving those two for WrestleMania 8? You had the greatest wrestler from NWA/WCW and the greatest wrestler from WWF. How they missed the boat on that one I will never ever know. It was probably because Hogan had an issue with possibly making Flair look like anything but horrible.

Kurt Angle/Undertaker from No Way Out '06. That match should've been built up from the end of the Royal Rumble through WrestleMania 22. It would've been awesome. I understand why it didn't happen. Eddie had just passed and because of that Rey got his massive push as Eddie's best friend, however, 'Taker/Angle would've been one of those classics that we always talk about. I mean, their match at No Way Out '06 was a classic in every sense of the word, but it would've meant all that much more if had taken place at WrestleMania 22. Here's my question though, if it had taken place at WrestleMania 22, would Angle still have won?
