What Was That About Brooke Hogan Being A Waste Of Space?

First let's address this piece of pure ignorant idiocy...

That episode was LIVE buddy. Those TNA "editors" really can work on the fly.

Yeah I know it's live. I meant that segment had to be edited for next weeks show hence they didn't show the terrible acting of Brooke Hogan or the wonderful insight she gave her father about her boob popping out. :disappointed:

The quarter-hour ratings are below:
Q1: 0.98 rating – Daniels and Kazarian’s “Braveheart” bit
Q2: 1.10 rating – Brutus Magnus vs. Devon, Joseph Park making his OFN Challenge.
Q3: 1.13 rating – Joseph Park vs. Robbie E., first part of Austin Aries vs. Chavo Guerrero
Q4: 1.06 rating – Second part of Aries vs. Chavo, Kurt Angle backstage segment
Q5: 1.38 rating – Sting, Hulk Hogan, Bully Ray, and Brooke Hogan’s in-ring segment
Q6: 1.25 rating – Dixie Carter’s announcement of Impact going on the road, Velvet Sky & James Storm vs. Tara & Jessie
Q7: 1.22 rating – Video packages and backstage segments
Q8: 1.17 rating – Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson in the steel cage, post-match heel turns by Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff

It would seem the Brooke/Ray/Hulk saga continues to be the point of interest in TNA for the company itself and the viewers. Brooke has grown into her role quite well if I do say so myself. She's certainly no Garret Bischoff in my eyes and worth the watch.

As down as I am right now on TNA their ratings make me feel good about my initial reaction to Brooke's hiring. She can bring in casual fans. I thought she would do it with a nasty Stephanie heel-like character but instead she is doing it with soap opera crap and tela novela shit.

TNA fanz are real fanz, they never be puttin' up wit dat Vince fan boy bs. TNA is real wrestling!

Did the wedding and wedding follow up beat the Claire Lynch conclusion in the ratings?

With the consistent 1.35ish ratings that the Bully/Brooke segments have been drawing, TNA would be wise to try setting up a few shows that air those segments in the show's first hour(possibly even the initial quarter hour). The quarter hour breakdowns are clearly showing that fans still haven't really clinched onto the 8 o'clock hour yet, but the 9 o'clock hour has been drawing consistently strong.

The viewership trends show that if they could find a way to pull the first hour up to around a 1.12-1.15 average, than they would be easily pulling overall ratings solidly in the 1.2+ range.

Shifting these Brooke/Bully segments may be just what they need to do, people seem to be watching in respectable numbers during hour two either way. Maybe the focus should be to get more tuned into the oft-neglected first hour.
