There are a load of travellers (ironically they dont travel) that live close to my house. Some of the best people I know.
I am not a fan of what I call psuedo-intellectuals, generally young people around my age with uni degrees and 15 GCSE's or whatever, and think its a big thing that they understand "Chekhov's Gun" and know who Lord Byron was, look for excuses to bring either into a conversation and look annoyed when a daft shit like me understands what they're talking about. These are generally people who sneer when you dont understand something about their specialist subject (hey I never studied it, excuse me for taking a casual interest), and are ALWAYS on the front foot when it comes to calling people stupid, but would struggle to survive without funds from mummy and daddy and come looking for me whenever something breaks, often they have an ideallised view of life where an opinion that may border on racist is instantly wrong (thefts in my workplace have shot through the roof since the Polish have come in, but 2 + 2 DOES NOT = 4 in this case). They usually end up working in fast food or petrol stations and turn into massive racist cynics.
The odd part is they arent bad people, so I am friends with them, which is why I discriminate against them so much. Over exposure or something. The ones that walk into jobs never change though, they just fumble through life convinced of their own superiority while still acting hard done by, often distorting actual facts in their heads to continue like this, you may spot some on here.
Edit - Disclaimer; Not saying all uni kids are like that, etc.
