No recap tonight, as everyone is talking about Batista appearing at the end of last week's show, and he is in the ring to start us off tonight with an explanation.

Batista tells everyone he didn't come back to be World Champion...again...he didn't come back with a need to prove himself. He has done everything in this business. He didn't come back out of any relevance deprivation disorder. Batista says he came back for one thing.

Batista says he got sick and tired of watching Sheamus talk himself up as World Champion. Sure he was champion for nine months. That's pretty impressive. But the idea that Sheamus is the biggest badass in All Star Wrestling shows just how far it has sunk since Batista left two and a half years ago. So he has a question for Sheamus. If he really does love to fight...fella...come and fight Batista at Supercard and prove just how badass you are.

Colt Cabana comes to the ring, accompanied by CM Punk. They are followed by Kassius Ohno, and Antonio Cesaro.

Ohno dominates and is set to get the win, when he distracted by Punk jumping on the apron. As Cesaro confronts Punk, Colt wins with the schoolboy roll up.

Colt Cabana bt Kassius Ohno

After the match, Punk grabs a mic and waves goodbye to the Kings of Wrestling, as Cesaro tells him this ain't over. Punk tells Cesaro, yeah yeah blah blah blah this ain't over. Whatever. Punk says what he did tonight is something he does out of loyalty to his friends, and loyalty to the people who have his back. He says you know who has never had his back? Mick Foley. He says he is glad Batista was out here earlier talking about relevance deprivation syndrome, because no one suffers from it more than Mick Foley. Punk questions why Foley was even in the Battle Royal match two weeks ago. He must have known he couldn't win it! He was there just to be a spoiler. But he picked the wrong guy. Punk talks about how he has a long memory, whereas Foley has been beat up so much over the years he probably can't remember what he had for breakfast this morning. Punk says he is going to find Mick Foley, and show him up for what he is - an old, beat up, broken down shell of a man, who will find out just how stupid it was to poke the Best in the World!!

Backstage, Sheamus is asked about the challenge from Batista. Sheamus says he was born to fight, and he has never backed down from a fight in his life. He reminds us that it was he who put Batista out of business two and a half years ago; and he can do it again at Supercard.

Mark Henry is in the ring, awaiting his opponent, Drew McIntyre. McIntyre has a mic, but before he can speak, Henry grabs him and unleashes a barrage of punishment. McIntyre can't get any offence in, and Henry picks up the squash win.

Mark Henry bt Drew McIntyre

Antonio Cesaro is backstage, still upset about what happened earlier tonight, and calls out CM Punk to face him one on one next week.

Brodus Clay is in the ring. He says he is sick of people coming up to him asking about what happened to the dancing Funkasaurus. Brodus says he's a fun loving guy, but he also demands respect. Brodus says he will only get that respect when he has gold around his waist, and you don't get that by dancing. And you do know that!!

Chavo Guerrero makes his way to the ring, and tries to get in some early offence. He fails to knock Brodus down though, and is taken down with a clothesline. Chavo bounces up, but is caught in a bear hug by Brodus. Chavo is fading fast, but Brodus runs at the ropes, releasing the hold and knocking Chavo down again. Brodus finishes it off with the Funk It splash to get the win.

Brodus Clay bt Chavo Guerrero
John Cena comes to the ring. He apologises to Kane for low blowing him last week in his match against Triple H. He says he was still angry about Kane's behaviour at Battle Royal but that is no excuse. The fact is, somehow, they are still the tag team champions. And John Cena likes being a champion. So tonight, he faces Triple H; and any interference from Kane will have ramifications for the tag team titles. So he is asking Kane to act like he has some sense, and not interfere in the match tonight.

Kane comes to the ring and says Cena has got him all wrong. Kane says everything he does is for the good of the team. Cena looks confused, but Kane points out that they are still the tag team champions. Kane says they can handle anything that Triple H throws at them; but he will stay out of the match tonight. He wishes Cena good luck and leaves the ring. Cena still looks on confused by Kane's mood swings.

Justin Gabriel and Christopher Daniels are on their way to the ring for a number one contenders match for the Tag Team Titles. Their opponents are Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd.

Kidd and Gabriel start off, matching each other with high octane offence. Gabriel tags Daniels in who goes for a BME straight away, but is caught by Kidd mid-air and slammed to the mat. 1 2 Daniels kicks out. Kidd tags in Angle who goes to work on Daniels’ legs, trying to soften him up for the ankle lock. Daniels counters and gets the upper hand, forcing Angle into the corner. Daniels tags Gabriel in again, and they double team Angle until the referee can get Daniels out of the ring. Gabriel unleashes a flurry of elbows and European uppercuts, knocking Angle to the canvas. Gabriel goes to the ropes and goes for the 450 splash, but Angle rolls out of the way and tags in Kidd. Kidd takes advantage of Gabriel already being on the mat and sets up the sharpshooter. Gabriel tries to get to the ropes, but is eventually pulled back to the centre of the ring and is forced to tap out.

Kurt Angle/Tyson Kidd bt Justin Gabriel/Christopher Daniels to become the new #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles.

Backstage, Austin Aries says last week's loss to The Miz was a fluke, and tonight he will prove Double A is the better man.

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe face up against Cody Rhodes and Joey Ryan. AJ and Joe get in most of the offence, dominating Cody and Joey. Samoa Joe sets up Joey for the muscle buster, but is attacked from behind by Cody. AJ runs in, but Cody grabs the ropes and AJ goes flying over the top. Joey makes the tag to Cody who comes in to hit crossroads for the pin.

Cody Rhodes/Joey Ryan bt AJ Styles/Samoa Joe
Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring and says he has been feeling himself getting a little bored. Even a little stale. He says that's what happens when you achieve everything there is to achieve in your first year. Alberto says he has already been World Champion, and one day will be again. But he needs a challenge. Del Rio says he will issue an open challenge for anyone in the back to come down to face him now.

Big Show's music hits, and Alberto looks worried at first, but pulls himself together and attacks Show as he enters the ring. They go back and forth trading blows until the spill through the ropes onto the floor. The referee tries to get them back into the ring, but Show chokeslams Del Rio through the announce table. Both men are counted out. Show stands over Del Rio, who slowly rises back to his feet, and grabs a chair and wails on Show until he is down on his knees. Del Rio then puts Show in the Cross Arm Breaker, and it takes several referees to break them up.

Alberto Del Rio and Big Show - No Contest

Wade Barrett enters the ring, and his match with Dolph Ziggler is up next.

Barrett punishes Ziggler for his interference in his match last week, before Ziggler escapes to the outside to shake off the blows. Ziggler gets back in the ring, and uses his speed and agility to get the upper hand. There are a number of close falls in this one, as Barrett ends up going for the Bullhammer Elbow. Ziggler ducks underneath it though and nails Barrett with the Zig Zag. Ziggler makes the pin. 1 2 3

Dolph Ziggler bt Wade Barrett After the match, Ziggler escapes the ring and goes through the crowd as Barrett looks pissed. Daniel Bryan comes to the top of the ramp and asks Barrett if he can't beat Dolph Ziggler, how does he think he will beat him for the World Title at Supercard? Bryan does his NO shtick, leaving Barrett even angrier in the ring.
Backstage, Derrick Bateman is walking around in his US Flag trunks, telling everyone he is a True American Hero. He says America needs a new hero to distract them from the economy, unemployment, and Jack Swagger. Swagger enters the shot and tells Bateman that he is the All American American, and if anyone needs saving it is Bateman from his delusions of grandeur. Swagger reminds Bateman he beat him last week, and can do so again any time he chooses. Bateman says he has the masses on his side, as well as the tide of history. He tries to fly away ala Superman, but of course stays fixed on the spot. Swagger again just shakes his head and walks away.

The Miz and Austin Aries are in the ring for the next match. Back and forth action in and outside the ring, as this evenly poised match sees both wrestler's talents showcased. Aries ends up getting the upper hand and nails Miz with the brain buster before making the cover. 1 2 3

Austin Aries bt The Miz
Chris Jericho comes to the ring and talks about him being the Legends Title holder. Jericho talks about how he is a former World Champion, Tag Team Champion, European Champion, and now the Legends Champion. Jericho tells us how he has beaten everyone there is to beat, how he is the best in the world at what he does, and how he will keep this Legends Title until he is an old man, and he will wrestle Ox Baker or Bruno Sammartino when they're 90 in a bingo hall somewhere, because it really doesn’t matter.' Chris Jericho is a Legend. And this title belt is staying exactly where it belongs.

Sting comes out to the top of the ramp and says everything Chris Jericho has said is true. Well maybe not the part about Ox and Sammartino; but everything else is true. Chris Jericho has done it all. He is a true legend. Sting says part of being a legend though is to take on all comers, anytime, anywhere. So if Chris Jericho wants to get to that bingo hall in a couple of decades, he is first going to have to go through him. Sting challenges Jericho to a match at Supercard for the Legends Title.

Jericho says it's hard to give Sting an answer right now, since there are so many more deserving opponents. He says anyone who saw his match at Old School last April knows that Triple H deserves a shot, but he seems a bit busy right now with that whole Cena and Kane circus. He says the year before at Old School he put on a clinic with the man of 1000 holds, Dean Malenko; so many he should get a Legends Title shot. He tells Sting he will think about whether he is worthy, and get back to him.

Sting tells Jericho to maybe just sleep on it. Dream about it. And when the nightmares start he will know that he has no choice but to go one on one with the Icon; Sting!!

Kofi Kingston takes on Damian Sandow in a Battle Royal replay up next for the Intercontinental Title.

Sandow uses his size advantage at first, keeping Kofi in the corner; but Kofi responds with kicks to Sandow's legs and then a flurry of high kicks and chops as he goes on the offensive. Sandow begs off, but Kofi keeps up the attack. Sandow is now in the corner, and gets Kofi with a rake to the eyes. Kofi recoils and Sandow is back on the attack. Sandow whips Kofi into the ropes and takes him down with a clothesline before hitting the elbow of disdain. Sandow covers 1 2 Kofi kicks out. Sandow pulls Kofi up to his feet, but Kofi gets free and nails Sandow with his educated feet. Kofi hits Boom Drop and covers, but Sandow also kicks out at 2. Sandow struggles on his feet and Kofi climbs the ropes and flies off the top rope knocking Sandow again. Kofi covers. 1 2 Sandow out again. This time Kofi gets Sandow to his feet and looks for Trouble in Paradise, but Sandow moves out of the way and catches Kofi with the straightjacket neckbreaker. Sandow makes the cover. 1 2 3

Damian Sandow bt Kofi Kingston to retain the Intercontinental Title

Jeff Hardy comes to the ring with mic in hand.Jeff says there has been a lot of talk tonight about legends. He says he takes his hat off to Chris Jericho. He was the better man on the night at Battle Royal; and Jeff had his Legends Title shot fair and square and came up short. However, that doesn't mean he hasn't had some legendary moments in this very ring. Jeff says he wants to create one more, for old time’s sake. Jeff says he has been in tables matches, chair matches, ladder matches, and even all three at once; and he has always got up to fight another day. Jeff says there is nothing he would like more than at Supercard to be able to have one more TLC match, against the only man in All Star Wrestling who has been through the hell he has been through and came out the other side. He asks Bully Ray to join him in the ring.

Bully Ray comes into the ring and they reminisce a bit about old battles. Bully Ray says like Jeff, he too had his shot at the Legends Title earlier this year and came up short. He can think of no better way to compensate than by fighting Jeff hardy in a TLC match at Supercard and stealing the whole damn show!! Bully Ray and Jeff embrace in the middle of the ring, and we have ourselves a TLC match at Supercard on December 28th.

Kane is shown watching the monitor in the back as Triple H makes his entrance to the ring.

John Cena makes his way down the ramp for our main event.
Cena and Triple H lock up, and both look to get the upper hand with a power game. The test of strength comes out even, and Triple H moves back and leans on the ropes, smiling at Cena, who tells him to get on with it. Triple H comes back and gets Cena in a head lock, but Cena pushes him off into the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder tackle. Triple H slowly gets back to his feet, as Cena tells him to again get on with it.

They lock up again, and this time, Cena gets Triple H in the headlock, but is also pushed against the ropes, and Triple H takes Cena down with a high knee. Cena looks up at Triple H and uses the ropes to get back to his feet, as Triple H towers over him. They go back and forth trading blows, before Cena again whips him into the ropes and hits a shoulder block. This time Triple H stands his ground though, and takes Cena down with a clothesline.

Cena gets back up, but is collected with elbows and high knee shits from Triple H, forcing him into the corner. The referee breaks it up and Cena gets a cheap shot in around the back of the referee. Triple H explodes, unwailing on Cena again in the corner, with the referee telling him he risks disqualification. Triple H eventually backs off, but Cena launches himself out of the corner, and takes Triple H down to the canvas with a flurry of blows. Cena makes a cover, but Triple H pushes him away on the one count.

Kane is shown again watching on the monitor backstage.

More back and forth action in this even match, with Cena escaping the pedigree, and Triple H avoiding the Attitude Adjustment. Just as it seems we are at a stalemate in this match, Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd start to make their way down the ramp, and we are reminded they are the new #1 contenders to Cena & Kane's Tag Team Titles. Triple H leans over the ropes and asks them what the hell they are doing, and orders them to the back. Triple H turns around and walks into the Attitude Adjustment. Cena covers 1 2...Angle grabs Triple H's foot and places it on the ropes to break the count.

Cena leaves the ring and starts brawling with Angle and Tyson, as the referee starts to count him out. Cena returns to the ring, and locks Triple H into the STF. Triple H crawls his way to the ropes, and Tyson offers to help him get there, but Triple H swats him away. Cena drags Triple H back into the middle of the ring, and he is forced to tap out.

John Cena bt Triple H

After the match, Angle and Kidd jump the ring and attack Cena, as Triple H rolls out of the ring. Kane runs down the ramp to make the save, hitting a double chokeslam on Angle and Kidd.

Triple H grabs a mic and tells Angle and Kidd that if they don't get the job done next week, that's it. They won't ever get another shot at the Tag Team Titles. In fact, if they lose next week to Cena & Kane, they will have to disband as a tag team. Cena & Kane look pleased with this stipulation as ASW goes off the air.

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

The recap of last week shows Triple H refusing the help of Kurt Angle & Tyson Kidd in his match against John Cena, before Cena forced The Game to tap out. Also, we see Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray have made a TLC match for Supercard, while the feud between CM Punk and Antonio Cesaro continues, with Punk still thinking Mick Foley is the mastermind behind the attacks by the Kings of Wrestling.

We start off with John Cena and Kane making their way to the ring for their Tag Titles match against Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd. Cena has a mic.

Cena says there’s an old saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. He wonders if Triple H has ever heard of that, because every single week Triple H seems to come out and whine about losing the Legends Title to Kane, because of him; and every single attempt to relieve Cena and Kane of the Tag Team Titles blows up in his face. Cena says it’s obvious he and Kane don’t get along. They have retained their Tag Titles through some less than ethical means. Yet here they are. Stronger. Rising Above Hate. Cena wonders what else Triple H can possibly do to them that they haven’t already done to each other. He welcomes tonight’s match, and the stipulation that Angle & Kidd have to split their tag team if they don’t win tonight; saying it will be just one less team to worry about.

Angle & Kidd make their way to the ring; and we’re starting with Cena and Angle. Cena and Angle have a test of strength, which Cena wins. He pushes Angle into the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Angle gets straight back up and tries to clothesline Cena down, but fails. Cena Irish whips Angle into the corner and follows up with a high knee. Angle fights his way out of the corner, and ducks another shoulder block, and catches Cena with a German suplex. Angle holds on and hits a second and then a third one, before letting go. Cena crawls over to make the tag to Kane. Angle and Kane trade punches in the ring, before Angle goes for the Olympic Slam out of nowhere. Kane drops to his feet though and pushes Angle into the ropes and follows up from behind with a club to the back of Angle’s neck. He throws Angle into the corner, and the tag is made to Tyson Kidd. Kidd leaps up to the top rope and flies at Kane, knocking him to the canvas. Kidd goes for a cover, but Kane easily pushes him away. Tyson continues to hit Kane with high flying kicks, and again goes for a cover. 1 2 Kane kicks out. Tyson tries to set up Kane for the sharpshooter, but Kane powers out, and tags Cena back in. Cena hits shoulder blocks on Tyson, before delivering the five knuckle shuffle. Cena picks Tyson up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Angle is in to distract Cena, and they trade blows until the referee can get Angle out of the ring. Tyson rolls up Cena for the schoolboy pin. 1 2 Cena kicks out this time. Tyson goes to the top rope, but Cena tags in Kane, who catches Tyson as he leaps from the ropes by the throat. Kane hits the chokeslam and makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kane & John Cena bt Kurt Angle & Tyson Kidd to retain Tag Team Titles

After the match, Triple H comes out on top of the ramp. He tells Angle & Tyson that a deal is a deal, and they can no longer be a tag team. In fact, next week we’re going to find out just who is the better man, as it’s going to be Kurt Angle going one on one with Tyson Kidd.

Backstage, Sheamus is interviewed about his match with Batista at Supercard. Sheamus says it doesn’t matter about Batista as Sheamus has beaten every so called animal that has ever stepped foot in the ring with him, and Supercard will be no different. As Sheamus leaves, the camera pans back to show Mark Henry looking on, shaking his head.

Damian Sandow comes to the ring, and says as he has been Intercontinental Champion now for two months, it is painfully obvious that there is no one in the back who has the intellect to match him in the ring, as he beaten contender after contender. Sandow declares an open invitation to anyone who truly believes they can outsmart him and take this title away from him. This leads to Brodus Clay coming to the ring. Sandow makes fun of Brodus’ old Funkasaurus gimmick before Clay grabs the mic out of his hand. Clay asks if Sandow sees any dancing. He asks if he sees anyone having fun. He tells Sandow all he is going to see is an ass whipping of a life time and You Do Know That!!

Sandow tries to get in early offensive, but is blocked by Clay, who uses his size advantage to knock Sandow down. Sandow gets back to his feet, but Clay knocks him down again before covering. Sandow kicks out on one, and escapes the ring to regather his composure. He gets back in and whips Clay into the ropes and hits him with a high elbow, rattling Clay. Sandow follows up with some kicks, forcing Clay into the corner. Sandow tries an Irish whip, but Clay reverses it and follows with an attempted splash but Sandow escapes the corner, and Clay eats the turnbuckle. Sandow follows up with the elbow of disdain, before attempting a cover. 1 2 Clay pushes Sandow away. Sandow waits for Clay to get to his feet and sets him up for the straight jacket neck breaker, but Clay counters and hits a Samoan Drop on Sandow, before following it up with the Funk It and making the cover. 1 2 3. We have a new champion.

Brodus Clay bt Damian Sandow to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion.

After the match, Sandow says a grave injustice has been done, and he demands his rematch next week. Clay tells Sandow to bring it, as he raises his new title over his head.

Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray come to the ring and are talking up their TLC match at Supercard. Both men are showering the other with respect for their history in this business, until they are interrupted by Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho reminds us that he is the reigning Legends Champion; and for all the talk of Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray and their achievements; Chris Jericho made the ladder match what it is today. He is a former All Star Wrestling World Champion; something neither Jeff or Bully can say. Jericho says he has wrestled everyone there is to wrestle, and here he is all these years later, still with gold around his waist. He taunts Hardy and Bully Ray about their failure to win this very belt over the last few months; before he is eventually interrupted by Sting’s music.

Sting comes to the ring, and stands alongside Jeff and Bully Ray. Sting says everything Jericho said is true, but what is also true is that his days as Legends Champion are numbered. At Supercard, Sting will beat Jericho and become the new Legends Champion, but tonight, he wants to give Jericho a taste of what is to come. He tells Jericho to find himself a couple of partners, coz tonight there’s going to be a six man tag team match. The three faces move in on Jericho, who slips under the ropes and makes his way back up the ramp, as we wonder whether Jericho can possibly find two men in the back who would want to be on his team tonight.

Jack Swagger and Drew McIntyre come to the ring, followed by Derrick Bateman and Kofi Kingston, and this tag match is next.

Kofi and Swagger start off, with Swagger trying to overpower Kofi, but Kofi’s quickness sees him able to counter every move. Kofi tags to Bateman, who removes his pants to reveal USA Flag trunks, and he gets the crowd chanting USA, as Swagger just shakes his head. Bateman takes Swagger down with a side Russian leg sweep and goes for a cover, but Swagger powers out, and tags in McIntyre. Bateman has Drew in a full nelson, but Mcintyre backs into the ropes, forcing Bateman to break the hold. Kofi makes the tag and goes to the top rope and flies at McIntyre knocking him to the canvas. Kofi goes for the boom drop and connects and makes the cover. 1 2 Swagger in to break up the hold. Bateman comes in to take care of Swagger and they fall through the ropes to the floor, as Kofi recovers and hits Trouble in Paradise on McIntyre before making the cover. 1 2 3

Derrick Bateman & Kofi Kingston bt Jack Swagger & Drew McIntyre

After the match, Swagger and Bateman are shown arguing outside the ring about who is more American. Bateman points to his trunks, while Swagger keeps saying he is the All American American…

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring for his shot at the European Title against Ryback.

Cody tries to get some offense in, but Ryback is simply too powerful. Ryback ends up picking up Cody and marches around the ring before hitting Shell Shock for the squash win.

Ryback bt Cody Rhodes to retain European Title

Backstage, Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesaro are asking Triple H for a Tag Titles match next week, saying they are the only ones left that can possibly beat Kane & John Cena. Triple H grants them the match, but also says they aren’t the only ones in line. He then tells Cesaro he can warm up by having a match tonight with CM Punk.

Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel come to the ring. They are followed by Trent Barreta and Richie Steamboat and that match is next.

Barreta and Gabriel start and trade some high kicks, before Gabriel gets the upper hand and tags Daniels in. Daniels hits the BME and makes a cover, but Trent kicks out and tags in Steamboat. He unleashes on Daniels, forcing him to tag in Gabriel. Gabril hits another high kick to the head, knocking Steamboat to the mat. Gabriel goes up for the 450 splash, and as he hits it, Steamboat rolls through and makes the cover and picks up the surprise win.

Trent Barreta/Richie Steamboat bt Christopher Daniels/Justin Gabriel

Daniels walks off, leaving Gabriel looking dejected in the ring.

Backstage, Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan are arguing about who is going to win their World Title match at Supercard. Bryan gets under Barrett’s skin by offering Dolph Ziggler a shot at the title tonight. Barrett looks pissed, and storms away.

Big Show & The Miz are up against Alberto Del Rio & Austin Aries, and it clear that no one here has any love for their tag team partner. Miz has the upper hand on Del Rio, but Show tags himself in against Miz’s wishes. Show has Del Rio tied up in the ropes and smashes him with knife edge chops to the chest. Show untangles Del Rio and throws him across the ring. Del Rio tries to make the tag but Aries drops from the apron to the floor. Del Rio slowly gets up and walks into the WMD from Show who makes the cover.

Big Show & The Miz bt Alberto Del Rio & Austin Aries

After the match, Show taunts Aries, calling him a coward. Miz comes in and tries to nail Show with the Skull Crushing Finale, but Show overpowers Miz and delivers a giant chokeslam to the canvas.

Backstage, CM Punk is interviewed about his upcoming match against Antonio Cesaro. Punk questions why Cesaro and Ohno have been granted a title shot next week, while he and Colt Cabana are far more deserving. Punk wonders what Mick Foley has to do with this decision. When Punk is questioned about being a little paranoid about Foley, Punk says all these Attitude guys stick together, and he wouldn’t put anything past Triple H. Punk again says Foley cost him the Battle Royal match, and he hasn’t dared to show his face since. After he gets through with Cesaro, he is going to demand that Foley shows him the respect he deserves by coming back to All Star Wrestling and telling the world how he is secretly plotting against him.

CM Punk is accompanied to the ring by Colt Cabana; followed by Antonio Cesaro, accompanied by Kassius Ohno. Cesaro goes for a wristlock early, before dropping to the mat still keeping the hold, forcing Punk to make the ropes to break the hold. Punk shakes his wrist out and ties up with Cesaro, putting him in a headlock. Cesaro uses his size and strength to push Punk off into the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder block. Punk bounces back up and slides behind Cesaro, taking him down for the pin, but Cesaro kicks out on one. Cesaro pushes Punk into the ropes again and looks for the European Uppercut but Punk ducks it and knocks Cesaro down with the backstabber. Punk tries to lift Cesaro up for the GTS, but Cesaro escapes, dropping down behind Punk and pushing him into the ropes, before nailing him with an elbow to the head. Cesaro takes Punk and walks him up the ropes. Cesaro looks for the superplex, but Punk counters and knocks Cesaro to the mat before hitting the Randy Savage type elbow and making the cover. 1 2 Cesaro kicks out. Punk can’t believe it, and drags Cesaro to his feet looking for the GTS again. Cesaro counters again and lifts Punk up for the Gotch Neutralizer. Cesaro hits his finisher and makes the cover. 1 2 3 Cesaro wins.

Antonio Cesaro bt CM Punk

After the match, Cesaro begins assaulting CM Punk, as Ohno keeps Cabana from getting in the ring to make the save. Cesaro destroys Punk with a monster European Uppercut before hitting the Neutralizer again. Cesaro picks up Punk and throws him to the floor, before throwing him into the steel steps. Cesaro mocks Punk’s Best In The World line, before picking up Punk once more to hit a third Neutralizer on the floor. Punk is left lying unconscious, attended by Colt, as Cesaro leaves with Kassius.

Mark Henry comes to the ring, and says it seems everyone has forgotten about the trail of destruction he left in All Star Wrestling earlier in the year. He says it also seems like Sheamus forgot, and he thinks he can just turn up and beat Batista at Supercard. Henry says Sheamus needs a reality check, and he’s gonna give it to him right now. Sheamus comes to the ring and says he has never backed away from a fight, and he’s not about to start now.

A typical power match with both men countering power moves. Sheamus ends up hitting a very impressive White Noise before following up with the Brogue Kick for the win.

Sheamus bt Mark Henry

After the match, Batista comes out to the top of the ramp, and applauds Sheamus, as Sheamus begs him to get in the ring.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is interviewed about his partners for tonight’s six man tag team match against Sting, Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray. Jericho says, as surprising as it may be, there are plenty of people who wish to tag with the Legends Champion, even if it is only to smack the hell out of those sanctimonious Legends Wannabes. Jericho says he is going to make his way to the ring, and he can’t wait to see the looks on the faces of his opponents when his tag team partners are revealed.

Sting makes his way to the ring, followed by Jeff Hardy, and then Bully Ray for the six man tag match. Chris Jericho makes his way down the ramp and gets on the apron as the three faces taunt him about not having any partners tonight. Suddenly, Christian’s music hits, and the former tag team champion makes his way to the ring, as we are reminded about Edge & Christian’s legendary tag team matches against the Hardyz and Dudleyz back in the day. Christian and Chris Jericho gets in the ring to face off against their opponents, as the music of Matt Hardy hits! Jeff looks shocked, as Matt Hardy returns to All Star Wrestling as the final piece in this six man tag match puzzle.
Matt wants to start the match, and calls out Jeff, but Jeff still looks too shocked to comprehend what is happening here, and instead, Bully Ray starts the match. Bully tries to overpower Matt, but he hits back with some kicks and elbows, forcing Bully into the corner, where Sting makes the tag. Sting forces Matt back with some chops to the chest, before whipping him into the ropes, and taking him down with a clothesline. Sting begs Jericho to come into the ring, giving Matt enough time to get behind Sting and take him down to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep. Matt tags in Christian who sizes Sting up as he regains his feet, but gets kicked in the gut by the Icon. Sting takes Christian down with a swinging neck breaker, and makes a cover. Christian kicks out on one, and Sting tags in Jeff Hardy. Jeff climbs the ropes and goes for a Swanton Bomb, but Christian gets his foot up to counter, forcing Jeff to the canvas. Christian tags in Jericho, who drags Hardy to the middle of the ring and looks for a sharpshooter. Hardy counters by sliding underneath and rolling through to make a cover on Jericho, who easily kicks out. Hardy knocks Jericho to the mat with a missile drop kick and makes the cover. 1 2 Chris Jericho kicks out. Hardy makes the tag to Sting, who comes in and stands over Jericho before looking to lock in the Scorpion Death Lock. Jericho tries to counter, but Sting locks it in and drags Jericho to the centre of the ring. Matt Hardy climbs the ropes and launches himself at Sting, forcing him to break the hold. Jeff runs in and hits the twist of fate of Matt. Christian gets into the ring but is countered by Bully Ray who hits the Bully Bomb. Jericho recovers to hit the codebreaker on Sting and goes for a cover. Jeff and Bully Ray roll Sting over so he can make the pin and hold Jericho down. 1 2 3

Backstage, Wade Barrett is interviewed and asked about the upcoming title match between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. Barrett says he understand Bryan is trying to get under his skin, but nothing has changed. Bryan has put himself in a vulnerable situation, whereas Barrett will get his World Title match at Supercard whether it’s against Daniel Bryan or Dolph Ziggler. This is just an example of how Barrett will outsmart Bryan to win the title at Supercard…if he still holds it after tonight.

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring, but is attacked by Wade Barrett before he can get in the ring. Daniel Bryan comes in the ring, and Ziggler is asked if he can compete. Ziggler agrees, and this match is underway. Bryan leaps at Ziggler and puts in the Guillotine choke hold early, capitalising on the beat down Ziggler suffered at the hands of Barrett. Ziggler doesn’t tap, but the referee raises his arm three times, and three times it drops.

Daniel Bryan bt Dolph Ziggler to retain the World Title.

After the match, Barrett gets in the ring and picks Ziggler up and hits Wasteland before taunting Bryan who exits the ring. Barrett stands tall in the ring as we go off the air.

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling – results from November 23, 2012

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title – Brodus Clay (16/11/2012)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

We start with a recap of last week, with Cena & Kane again holding on to the tag team titles, and having to face Cesaro and Ohno tonight. We see Cesaro decimating CM Punk last week; as well as Brodus Clay becoming the new Intercontinental Champion.

The show starts with Big Show in the ring, awaiting Austin Aries. Aries comes into the ring and the match starts, but Aries immediately drops to the floor, leaving Show frustrated. Aries sneaks back under the ropes, but slides out the other side of the ring. He taunts Big Show from the outside, but Show leans over the top rope and grabs Aries and drags him up to the apron, before swinging him over the top rope into the ring. Show immediately goes for a cover, but Aries gets his foot on the ropes. Show drags Aries to his feet and slaps him down with a monster clothesline. Aries rolls under the ropes again, but this time Show goes outside after him. The referee starts to make the count, as Aries runs around the ring away from Big Show. Just before the referee gets to ten, Aries jumps onto the apron and makes his way back into the ring. Show is counted out. Aries points to his head, telling Show he outsmarted him as the referee calls for the bell.

Austin Aries bt Big Show via count out

Backstage, Wade Barrett is interviewed, as says Daniel Bryan can hide all he likes, but at Supercard, Barrett is going to get his hands on him, and beat him for the World Title. Barrett says it was insulting last week to see Dolph Ziggler granted a title shot. He challenges both Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler to a triple threat World Title match later tonight.

Ryback makes his way to the ring for a defence of his European Title against Joey Ryan. Joey shows his usual bravado by walking straight up to Ryback and slapping him across the face. Ryback responds by throwing Joey into the ropes and nailing him with the meathook clothesline. Ryback picks Joey up and sets him up for Shell Shocked, marching around the ring before delivering the winning move. Another squash match win for the European Champion, as Joey Ryan lies in the ring wondering just what happened.

Ryback bt Joey Ryan to retain the European Title

Backstage, Triple H is with Jeff Hardy, Bully Ray, Matt Hardy and Christian. He talks about the six man tag match last week, with Jericho and Sting, and says he has an idea to change the TLC match at Supercard. Instead of being Jeff Hardy V Bully Ray, it’s now going to be Jeff & Bully Ray V Matt & Christian. And we’re going to have a warm up match right now – a tables match between Christian and Bully Ray.

Bully Ray overpowers Christian early, before Christian starts to use his speed and agility to get the upper hand. Christian has Bully knocked down and is all set to fly from the top rope. Christian looks for an elbow but Bully rolls out of the way just in time, leaving Christian to eat canvas. Bully goes outside the ring, and drags a table out from under it. He sets the table up next to the ring apron. Christian recovers, and again leaps to the top rope, hoping to catch Bully off-guard. Bully Ray catches Christian in mid air and power bombs him through the table to win the match.

Bully Ray bt Christian

Brodus Clay comes to the ring with a mic. He says all of the fans wanted him to be was a fun loving dancing buffoon. He reminds the crowd that long before he was the Funkasaurus, he was a wrecking machine. He says he should have won the Intercontinental Title a year ago, but he got side-tracked with trying to be a crowd pleaser. But last week Damian Sandow found out there was more to Brodus Clay than dancing. And you do know that!

Sandow comes to the ring, also with a mic. He asks us to allow him to beg our indulgence. He calls Clay nothing but an obese, uneducated, poorly attired, ill-tempered ignoramus, and he discredits the prestigious Intercontinental Title; and the only way this can be rectified is by Sandow winning back what is rightfully his.

Sandow and Clay lock up, and Sandow gets Clay in a headlock. Clay pushes him into the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Sandow springs up and launches himself into the ropes only to meet the same fate again. Clay hauls Sandow to his feet and knocks him down with a clothesline. Sandow escapes the ring to regather himself and to rethink his strategy. Sandow gets back in the ring and they lock up again; this time Sandow getting Clay in a wrist lock. Sandow’s pressure forces Clay to one knee; and Sandow drives his knee into Clay’s back while still holding onto the wrist lock. Clay falls to the canvas, and Sandow turns the hold into a half nelson. Clay makes his way to the ropes, and Sandow is forced to break the hold. Clay tries to shake out his wrist as Sandow drops him down again with a well placed kick to the knee. Sandow goes for the cover, but Clay kicks out on one. Sandow stalks Clay as he gets back to his feet, and looks for the straight jacket neckbreaker. Clay powers out of the hold though, and launches himself at Sandow with a huge clothesline. Sandow gets to his feet but is knocked down again by a shoulder block. Clay actually goes to the second rope and hits a massive splash on Sandow. Clay launches himself off the ropes to hit the Funk It Splash and makes the cover for the win.

Brodus Clay bt Damian Sandow to retain the Intercontinental Title

After the match, Kofi Kingston comes out onto the ramp and tells Brodus he has all respect for him, but he wants the Intercontinental Title, and challenges him to a match next week. Brodus accepts, while Sandow screams that this is far from over.

Backstage, Kurt Angle is telling Tyson Kidd that he doesn’t like tonight’s match any more than Tyson does, but Triple H has made the match and they have to make the best of it. He tells Tyson they have the chance to steal the show tonight, so let’s do it. Angle and Tyson shakes hands before Angle leaves to get ready for the match later tonight.

Back in the ring, The Miz and Alberto Del Rio are having a back and forth match, with Del Rio eventually getting the upper hand by going to work on The Miz, setting him up for the cross arm breaker. The Miz tries to roll out of the ring, but Austin Aries runs down to throw him back into the ring, and straight into Del Rio’s finishing move. The Miz is forced to tap out.

Alberto Del Rio bt The Miz

After the match, Big Show makes his way to the ring looking for revenge on Aries, who escapes through the crowd. Big Show takes his frustrations out on Alberto Del Rio by nailing him with the WMD.

CM Punk comes to the ring with his arm in a sling, and on crutches. He is accompanied by Colt Cabana. Punk says Cesaro will eventually pay for what he did to him last week, as Punk has a long memory. Just like he remembers what Mick Foley did to him in the Battle Royal in October, and how Foley has been ducking him ever since. He says he doesn’t really believe in conspiracies, but it’s hard not to believe that Mick Foley isn’t behind the attack by Antonio Cesaro last week.

Antonio Cesaro comes to the ring, accompanied by Kassius Ohno. Cesaro says CM Punk is delusional if he thinks he needs anyone to encourage him to beat the living hell out of Punk. He calls CM Punk typical of America – obnoxious, self-important, and whiney. He says after he and Ohno win the Tag Team Titles tonight, Punk and Colt are welcome to challenge them at any time. Well, that is after Punk heals from the beating he gave him last week anyway.

Punk and Colt join commentary, as John Cena and Kane make their way to the ring for this Tag Team Titles match. Cena and Ohno start off, with Cena hitting his typical shoulder blocks and making a cover which Ohno kicks out of on one. Cena tags in Kane, who drags Ohno to his feet, and hits with a sidewalk slam. Ohno gets back up but is met with a boot to the face and Kane makes the cover. 1 2 Ohno kicks out, and crawls his way to his corner to make the tag to Cesaro. Antonio and Kane exchange blows, before Cesaro hits the European uppercut to take Kane off his feet. Cesaro goes to the ropes and follows up with a high knee on Kane and makes a cover. Kane kicks out on two, before reaching out to tag Cena in. Cena and Antonio have a test of strength which Cena wins, forcing Cesaro to his knees. Cena hits a high knee, knocking Cesaro to the canvas. Cena stands over him and does his You Can’t See Me shtick before hitting the five knuckle shuffle. Cena makes the cover, but Cesaro kicks out on two. Cesaro gets back to his feet and he and Cena trade blows again. Cena is reeling in the ring, and Cesaro takes advantage by climbing the ropes and nailing Cena with the mid air European uppercut. Cesaro picks up Cena and looks for the Gotch Neutralizer. Kane gets in the ring, but is met by Ohno who keeps him at bay as Cesaro hits his finisher. Cesaro makes the cover. 1 2…the referee is pulled out of the ring by Colt Cabana, who clotheslines him to the floor. The referee calls for the bell.

John Cena & Kane bt Antonio Cesaro & Kassius Ohno by DQ to retain Tag Team Titles

After the match, Ohno takes out Colt, While Cesaro looks to hit his finisher on Cena again, before being warned off by Kane. Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Triple H says he is sick and tired of every single match that has John Cena and Kane defending their Tag Team Titles descending into chaos. First of all, he says Colt Cabana is suspended from All Star Wrestling for sixty days. He tells him to leave, as CM Punk protests from the commentary table. Then he commends Ohno and Cesaro for a great effort, but in the end they just couldn’t get the job done. He says he will consider their immediate future over the next seven days. Then he turns his attention to Kane and John Cena. He says there is an old saying that if you want something done, you may as well do it yourself. So, at Supercard, Triple H will find himself a partner to take on John Cena and Kane. He says it’s not about the Tag Team Titles. It’s about revenge for costing him the Legends Title. It’s about making a mockery of the Tag Team Titles where every damn match ends in controversy. Kane and Cena mock being scared about Triple H, and Triple H tells them they should be scared. He says he will reveal his tag team partner the week before Supercard, and they better be at the very top of their game.

Jack Swagger faces off against Cody Rhodes. In a short match, Swagger counters Cross Rhodes by slipping out and behind Rhodes, and catches Rhodes in the ankle lock for the submission.

Jack Swagger bt Cody Rhodes

After the match, Derrick Bateman comes out to the old Real American music in his USA flag trunks and taunts Swagger about being the Real American Hero. Swagger says he is the All American American, and they taunt each other about who is more American.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is interviewed about Wade Barrett’s challenge from earlier tonight. Bryan says he doesn’t feel like putting his World Title on the line just because Wade Barrett or anyone else demands it. He asks will he fight both Barrett and Ziggler tonight for the World Title? NO! NO! NO!

Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd are in the ring and their match is next. Angle on top early, winning a test of strength and forcing Tyson to bridge on the canvas, before picking him back up and shoulder blocking him to the canvas. Tyson springs up and ducks a clothesline, backing off the ropes, leaping over a ducking Angle, and missing a clothesline of his own. They shake hands again in the ring, before Angle locks in a bear hug and nails a belly to belly suplex. Angle showboats in the ring, and Tyson is up behind him and goes for the schoolboy cradle. Angle kicks out at two, and admonishes Tyson for going for the cheap win. Angle slaps Tyson across the chest, and Tyson returns serve. Tyson gets Angle in a headlock and forces him to the canvas. He moves it into a sleeper hold, and Angle is starting to fade. The referee raises Angle’s arm and it drops once, twice, but stays up on the third attempt. Angle manages to get back to his feet and whips Tyson into the ropes, catching him with a fisherman’s suplex. Angle covers. 1 2 Tyson kicks out. Angle picks Tyson up and nails four German suplexes before again going for a cover. Somehow, Tyson again kicks out and Angle is looking frustrated. Angle tries to lock in the ankle lock, but Tyson counters, and grabs Angle’s legs and makes his way back to his feet to lock in the sharpshooter. Angle slowly inches his way to the ropes, and Tyson is forced to break the hold. Tyson grabs Angle and drags him back to the centre of the ring. He looks for the sharpshooter again but Angle kicks him away. Tyson comes back and rolls Angle over to lock in the Texas Clover Leaf. He drags Angle into the centre of the ring, and Angle has nowhere to go. Angle is forced to make the tap.

Tyson Kidd bt Kurt Angle

After the match, Tyson offers his hand to Angle, and Angle shakes it. They embrace and Angle raises Tyson’s hand for the crowd. Triple H comes to the entrance ramp, and says he didn’t think they had it in them, but he appreciates their professionalism. They still can’t tag together, but they can be in a tag team match next week. Angle and Tyson look confused, before Triple announces next week it will be Kurt Angle and Kassius Ohno V Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro.

Mark Henry comes to the ring with a mic. He says Batista and Sheamus are just the same. He says Sheamus thinks he is the big man around here, but he came within an inch of beating him senseless last week. He then tells Batista that his timing is all wrong. He wanted to come back here to be the big man? Then he picked the wrong guy. Henry says he is the dominant force around here, not Sheamus, and it should be him and Batista at Supercard. He tells Batista if he has the guts, to come out and face him like a man. Instead, Sheamus comes out and tells Mark Henry that he beat him last week, and he’ll beat him any time anywhere he wants. He tells Mark Henry that he is nothing but a jealous, pitiful has been, and he’s not going to waste any more time with him. He says he is going to Supercard to beat Batista, and he hopes Mark enjoys the fight from his couch at home. Henry looks pissed in the ring as Sheamus leaves.

The following match is for the #1 contender spot for the European Title and a shot against Ryback next week. First out is AJ Styles, followed by Dean Ambrose and then Seth Rollins. Ambrose and Rollins double team AJ, going on the attack with a flurry of punches, knees and elbows, leaving AJ lying on the mat. Ambrose and Rollins shake hands and leave the ring, both getting counted out.

AJ Styles bt Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins via count out to become the #1 contender for the European Title.

Wade Barrett comes to the ring and again calls out Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler makes his way to the ring, but there is no sign of the World Champion. Barrett says if that’s the way he wants it, he will have to be happy with kicking Ziggler’s arse all over the arena. The bell rings and Barrett quickly gets the upper hand. Barrett uses his strength to get control early, but as the match goes on, Ziggler uses his resiliency to come back and then his high flying manoeuvres to take Barrett down. Daniel Bryan’s music hits and Barrett is distracted as the World Champ makes his way to the ring. Barrett is hit with the Zig Zag and Ziggler makes the cover. 1 2 3

Dolph Ziggler bt Wade Barrett

After the match, Daniel Bryan gets in the ring and stands over a prone Barrett raising his title in the air and screaming NO! NO! NO!, as ASW goes off the air.

Tune in next week to All Star Wrestling. Ten matches every week!!

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling – results from November 30, 2012

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title – Brodus Clay (16/11/2012)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

We begin with a recap of last week, with Triple H challenging John Cena & Kane to a Tag Titles match at Supercard with a mystery partner. Also, the TLC match at Supercard was changed into a tag match, and AJ Styles became #1 contender for the European Title in controversial fashion.

We start backstage where Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are talking about how they took out AJ Styles last week, and they’ve set him up to be destroyed by Ryback tonight. Out of nowhere AJ Styles turns up and unloads on both men, telling them they should have finished the job, and now he’s going to get him some gold.

AJ Styles comes to the ring, followed by Ryback. Styles tries to use his agility and speed top get on top of Ryback, but the champ’s power game trumps at every turn. Rollins and Ambrose end up making their way down the ramp, distracting Styles, who turns around into the meathook clothesline. Ryback picks Styles up and marches around the ring before hitting Shell Shocked and getting the win.

Ryback bt AJ Styles to retain the European Title.

After the match, Rollins and Ambrose challenge Ryback to a handicap match next week. Ryback accepts, leading the crowd in a Feed Me More chant.

Big Show and Alberto Del Rio is up next. Show over powers Del Rio, who stands outside the ropes to regroup. He comes back in and attacks Show with kicks to the knees, before levelling Show with a standing missile drop kick. Del Rio grabs Show’s arm and drops his knees into it, setting him up for the cross arm breaker. Show makes his way to the ropes, and Del Rio is forced to let go. Show recovers and shakes off the arm before capturing Del Rio in a bear hug. Del Rio tries to escape but is fading, and the referee asks him if he gives up. Del Rio refuses to tap, and pushes against Show, gradually moving towards the ropes, until Show is also forced to break the hold. Del Rio leaves the ring to try to get his composure, but gets back in as the referee makes the count. Del Rio ducks a clothesline, and then nails Show’s arm with a high knee. Show falls to one knee, and Del Rio follows up with a kick to the back of the head, forcing Show to the canvas. Del Rio locks in the arm breaker, but Show refuses to tap out. He makes it to the ropes, but Del Rio refuses to break the hold. Just as the referee disqualifies Del Rio, Show uses all his strength to get to his feet and knock Del Rio out with the WMD with his free hand. Show goes to make the cover, but the referee tells him he has already won the match via DQ.

Big Show bt Alberto Del Rio via DQ

Backstage, Sheamus is asked about Mark Henry calling out Batista last week. Sheamus says he doesn’t care about Mark Henry or Batista. He can beat them both any time. In fact, he calls them both out tonight, and says he will find himself a partner, and prove to the world that he is better than Batista and Mark Henry put together.

The Miz comes to the ring, followed by Austin Aries, and their match is next. A very even match, mostly as both men try to taunt each other and try to out think rather than out wrestle each other. As they exchange verbal taunts in the middle of the ring, Big Show makes his way back down, and they both turn around to walk into a double choke slam, and the referee calls for the bell.

The Miz & Austin Aries is declared a No Contest

After the match, Alberto Del Rio races to the ring and attacks Big Show, and as Miz and Aries slowly get back to their feet we have a four man free for all in the ring until Triple H’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring.

Triple H says these four have had their issues over the last few weeks, and there is one way to solve it. Next week, there will be a fatal four way match between Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz and Austin Aries. The winner will become the new #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title at Supercard on December 28. This brings out Damian Sandow who says this not only an injustice, but also a travesty. Sandow says he deserves to be the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title, as his loss to Brodus Clay last week was unfair, unjust, yet not unaligned with the values he has come to expect from people like Brodus Clay, and Triple H. Triple H tells Sandow he understands he is upset, but he is not the only one upset right now. He tells Sandow to get ready for a match with someone who arguably has more reason to be upset than even Sandow. Wade Barrett’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring for the match up next.

Sandow takes it to Barrett early, getting the upper hand, and forcing Barrett against the ropes. Sandow show boats for too long, and Barrett nails him from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. Barrett covers, but Sandow kicks out on one. Barrett picks up Sandow and hits a sidewalk slam, and Sandow rolls under the bottom rope onto the apron. Barrett drags Sandow to his feet caught in the ropes, and hits a series of forearm shots to the chest. Sandow falls back into the middle of the ring, and Barrett again goes for a cover. This time he gets two before Sandow kicks out. Barrett whips Sandow into the corner and goes for a shoulder block, but Sandow moves out of the way and Barrett collects the ring post with his shoulder. Sandow again gets on top, and takes Barrett down, before hitting the elbow of disdain, and makes a cover. 1 2 Barrett kicks out, and gets back to his feet, and now it’s a slugfest in the middle of the ring. Barrett gets the advantage, and ties Sandow up long enough to hit the Bullhammer elbow out of nowhere and make the cover. 1 2 3

Wade Barrett bt Damian Sandow

CM Punk comes to the ring, no longer on crutches but still with his arm in a sling. He again tells Cesaro he has a long memory, and he will keep, but right now he wants to address Mick Foley. He says Foley is respected as one of the best of all time. Foley is a former All Star Wrestling World Champion, and the innovator of hardcore. But Foley has made a grave mistake in angering CM Punk, because he is the best in the world. He says he is going to recover from the injuries suffered by being blindsided by Cesaro, and he still believes Foley was behind it to try to get out of facing Punk. Punk says, well that just isn’t going to happen, because Supercard is four weeks away, and he will be ready. Punk calls out Foley, and says if he is anything like the man he used to be, he will come to this ring and accept his challenge. Instead of Foley’s music, Cesaro’s hits and his match is next while Punk joins the commentary team.

Antonio Cesaro is joined by Tyson Kidd; and followed by Kassius Ohno, and then Kurt Angle for this unusual tag team match. Once the bell rings, it is obvious the Kings of Wrestling are on the same page, while Angle and Tyson are also trying to help each other out. CM Punk, on commentary, says he is disgusted by the lack of professionalism shown by all four men, and leaves to go into the ring with a steel chair. Punk unwails on all four men causing this match to be thrown out.

Antonio Cesaro & Tyson Kidd V Kurt Angle & Kassius Ohno is declared a No Contest

After the match, with CM Punk standing tall in the ring holding the chair above his head, when Mick Foley’s music hits, and the hardcore legend is here!

Mick Foley thanks CM Punk for his kind words, reminding people he is the innovator of hardcore and a former ASW World Champion. Foley says he cannot for the life of him though understand where Punk’s anger is coming from. Foley says let’s have a look at the footage from Battle Royal. It shows Punk attacking Foley, and Foley being eliminated way before Punk was. Foley again says he just doesn’t get it. CM Punk is also a former ASW World Champion. A former three time Tag Team Champion as well. Why is he is goddamn angry all of the time?

Punk asks Foley if he wants to know why he is so angry? It’s because of people like Mick Foley. They come back for a few weeks per year and live off their past glories, and everyone cheers like it was 1998, but the truth is CM Punk has achieved more than Mick Foley could ever have hopes to. He says Foley is the cancer that is eating at the heart of ASW, and it’s stopping a person like Colt Cabana, who is now serving a 60 days suspension, from getting their shot at the top.

Foley gets fired up, and says no one ever paid their dues like Mick Foley did. He said while CM Punk was in high school designing his first tattoo, Mick Foley was falling off the top of steel cages. He tells Punk that he was working the indie circuit before Punk was out of short pants. Then he says come to think of it, Punk, you still wear short pants, so maybe he hasn’t learned a damn thing.

Punk says he didn’t have to get thrown off the top of a cage to earn respect. He earned respect by being the best damn wrestler in the world. He tells Foley it’s time to put up or shut up. Is he going to get in the ring with Punk or not?

Foley says how about this? Next week, Foley finds himself a partner and CM Punk finds himself a partner, and if Punk’s team can win, he will get his shot at Mick Foley at Supercard. Punk says that’s a bit unfair since his former fellow Tag Team Champion has just been suspended for 60 days, but Foley is one. Punk will find himself a partner, beat Mick Foley and whoever he can drag up next week, and then go on to retire Mick Foley once and for all at Supercard.

Kofi Kingston is in the ring to challenge Brodus Clay for the Intercontinental Title. Kofi starts off with his high octane kicks, knocking Brodus around the ring, but only off his feet after a standing missile drop kick. Kofi covers, but Clay powers out on one. Kofi keeps it up with a series of kicks and elbows to the knees and head of Clay, forcing him down to one knee. Kofi hits another kick to level Clay and again makes a cover. 1 2 Clay kicks out. Clay slowly makes his way to his feet, as Kofi makes his way to the top rope. Kofi is caught in mid air by Clay and slammed to the mat. Clay bounces off the ropes and hits the Funk It splash for the win.

Brodus Clay bt Kofi Kingston to retain the Intercontinental Title

After the match, Big Show, The Miz, Austin Aries, Alberto Del Rio and Damian Sandow come from all corners to surround the ring, and look like they are going to attack Brodus. Instead the end up again turning on each other as Brodus looks on laughing from the middle of the ring. As Brodus stands over Kofi holding his belt high, Dolph Ziggler runs into the ring and nails Brodus with the Zig Zag, before escaping through the crowd.

Sting comes to the ring to a standing ovation, with a mic. He says he has always just run his own race. That has meant he hasn’t always been at the front of centre of what’s happening in all of wrestling. But he has always stayed true to himself. He says he has seen a lot of guys come and go in this business, and the thing that brings down most of them is hypocrisy and ego, and Chris Jericho has both of them in spades. He says while he would love to win the Legend Title at Supercard, and fully intends to do so, win or lose he can sleep at night knowing he has done everything on his own terms.

Chris Jericho comes out to the top of the ramp and says that is exactly why Sting will lose on December 28. He has no passion. He has no ambition. He is nothing more than a glorified jobber. Jericho tells Sting he never had the guts to mix it with the top players, and he has probably regretted it ever since. He calls Sting a loser, a has been, a never was, a Jericho wanna be, and a footnote in All Star Wrestling history. And on December 28, Chris Jericho is going to do Sting a favour, and end his career once and for all. Jericho walks back behind the curtain leaving Sting looking dejected in the ring, as we wonder if Jericho has hit a raw nerve.

Matt Hardy comes to the ring to face his brother Jeff in a ladder match, which is up next. Hanging above the ladders is a contract which says the winner’s partner at Supercard will face tonight’s loser in a chairs match next week. Everything you would expect from a Hardy Boyz old school ladder match with high spots, dives off ladders, near misses, and carnage all over the ring. In the end both men have set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and have both reached the top at the same time. Jeff reaches out to grab the contract, but Matt grabs Jeff and hits a Twist of Fate on Jeff all the way to the canvas. Both men are lying in the ring, before Matt slowly stirs first and sets up the ladder again. He starts to climb as Jeff also stirs and chases him up the ladder. Jeff grabs Matt by the foot as Matt reaches for the contract. Jeff hangs on and tries to pull Matt down, but Matt eventually kicks Jeff in the head, getting himself free to climb to the top and grab the contract.

Matt Hardy bt Jeff Hardy

This means that next week it will be Jeff Hardy V Christian in a chairs match.

Backstage, Mark Henry is interviewed about his comments last week about Batista and Sheamus, and the challenge from Sheamus tonight. Before he can answer, Batista comes in the frame and tells Henry he admires his guts. Not many people have the guts to call out Batista and get away with it. If Henry wants, for one night only, they can tag up against Sheamus and the unfortunate soul who chooses to be his tag partner tonight.

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring, followed by Derrick Bateman. In a copy of last week’s match against Jack Swagger; Rhodes looks to have it won before Bateman counters Cross Rhodes into a reverse swinging neckbreaker and makes the cover. 1 2 3 After the match, Bateman marches around the ring to the tune of Real American, even imitating Hulk Hogan’s signature moves to draw in the crowd. Swagger makes his way to the ring and tries to get the crowd to respond to him in the same way with no luck, and eventually gets frustrated and knocks Bateman to the canvas, and puts him in the ankle lock, screaming he is the All American American.

Derrick Bateman bt Cody Rhodes

John Cena and Kane come to the ring and wonder who Triple H’s partner at Supercard may be. Cena says Triple H told them to be scared, so maybe it’s Papa Shango. Kane says no one is scarier than him, but he can’t possibly fight himself physically like he fights his demons in his head every day. Cena backs away from this line of thought, and says okay Hunter, who is going to be?

Oh you didn’t know? Your ass better caaaaaaalllll somebody!!! Billy Gunn and Road Dogg come to the ring and go through their spiel…Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, All Star Wrestling presents to you the former tag team champions of the world – the Road Dogg Jessie James, the Bad Ass Billy Gunn – the New Age Outlaws!! And if you ain’t down with that we got two words for ya – SUCK IT!!! Road Dogg tells Cena and Kane that the D O Double G and the A double crooked letter ain’t gonna be Triple H’s partners at Supercard, but The Game has granted them a shot at the Tag Team Titles right here right now.

Kane and Billy Gunn hook up first and Kane uses his power to take the advantage. He pushes Gunn into the ropes, and Gunn follows up trying to hit the Fame Asser, but Kane ducks out of the way and throws Gunn into his corner where Road Dogg makes the tag. Dogg unleashes a flurry of southpaw shots on Kane, forcing him to make the tag to Cena. Cena goes for a clothesline, but Dogg ducks and gets behind Cena and looks for the pump handle slam. Dogg’s showboating riles Cena up and he breaks the hold and knocks Road Dogg Down to the canvas. He bounces up but Cena knocks him back down with a shoulder block and then hits the five knuckle shuffle. Cena waits for Dogg to get to his feet, but Kane tags himself in and scoops up Road Dogg for the tombstone piledriver. Gunn tries to make the save, but is caught by Cena in the Attitude Adjustment. The Tag Champs hit their finishes at the same time and Kane makes the cover. 1 2 3

John Cena & Kane bt Billy Gunn & Road Dogg to retain the Tag Team Titles

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is questioned about his actions earlier tonight, taking out Brodus Clay after his match with Kofi Kingston. Ziggler says it’s not enough that he has beaten Wade Barrett not once, but twice, since he became the #1 contender for the World Title. He gets that. Barrett won the Battle Royal and he gets his shot. But where is Dolph Ziggler on Supercard? Now there’s a four way #1 contender match for the Intercontinental Title next week, and Damian Sandow and Kofi Kingston are getting title shots? Well, it’s about time Dolph Ziggler got a title shot. He says he has spoken with Triple H, and The Game agrees that it is only fair that Dolph has earned his shot. So next week, Brodus Clay can expect more than just a Zig Zag. He can expect to lose the Intercontinental Title, and then it won’t matter who the #1 contender is, because none of them are as good as Dolph Ziggler.

Mark Henry makes his way to the ring first for our main event. The spotlight hits the ramp and Batista’s music hits, and The Animal is back for his first match in ASW in over two and a half years. Sheamus is next into the ring, as the commentators wonder who will be his tag team partner tonight. The music of the World Champion hits, and Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to be Sheamus’ partner just one month after beating him for the World Title. The bell rings and Sheamus gets in to start, followed by a tentative Batista making his way through the ropes. Sheamus tells Batista to bring it, but he turns and makes the tag to Mark Henry, and starts to walk up the ramp. Sheamus leans over the top rope to taunt Batista, and is blindsided by Mark Henry. Henry stomps on Sheamus in the corner, as Batista walks behind the curtain, and this is now a glorified handicap match. Mark Henry lifts Sheamus up and puts him the bear hug, and Bryan climbs the ropes to make the save by launching himself at Mark Henry. Bryan takes both men down, and the referee orders him out of the ring. Sheamus slowly regains his feet and his senses and realises what has happened, and tags Bryan in, and runs to the back to look for Batista. Bryan hits Henry with some low kicks trying to get him off his feet, but then walks into a sidewalk slam and Henry makes the cover. 1 2 Bryan kicks out. Backstage we see Sheamus in the parking lot looking for Batista, and narrowly escaping being knocked over by a car. The window winds down and Batista tells Sheamus he will see him at Supercard. In the ring, Bryan is distracted enough to walk into a huge belly to belly suplex by Mark Henry and the cover is made. 1 2 3

Mark Henry & Batista bt Sheamus & Daniel Bryan

After the match, Mark Henry stands tall over Daniel Bryan and demands a World Title match next week, as All Star Wrestling goes off the air.

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title – Brodus Clay (16/11/2012)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

We recap last week’s show where Triple H stamped his authority by making a #1 contender match for the Intercontinental Title here tonight between Austin Aries, Big Show, The Miz and Alberto Del Rio. We finally saw CM Punk and Mick Foley face off on the mic in the ring. The tag team champs retained against Triple H’s old buddies, the New Age Outlaws, and Batista returned to the ring for the first time in two and a half years in a match which has implications for Daniel Bryan’s World Title.

We start with Dolph Ziggler coming to the ring with a mic. Dolph says although he has beaten Wade Barrett twice in recent weeks, he understands why he can’t get a shot at the World Title at Supercard. He says he’s grateful just to have had a shot a few weeks back, but his time will come. In the meantime, he says he’ll have to settle for the Intercontinental Title, and he is way more deserving than any of the clowns in tonight’s #1 contender match. So, he intends to beat Brodus Clay right now, and then see off whoever is unfortunate enough to win tonight’s match at Supercard.

Brodus comes to the ring, and immediately starts to dominate Dolph through his power game. He clotheslines Dolph down, and Dolph does a full 360 before landing on the canvas. Clay drags him up and throws him into the corner before going for a running splash, but Dolph gets out of the way in time and Clay eats turnbuckle. Dolph follows up with the Zig Zag and goes for a quick cover, but Clay kicks out. Dolph tries on a sleeper hold with both men still on the mat. Clay tries to roll out of it, and ends up pinning Dolph while still in the sleeper hold. 1 2 3

Brodus Clay bt Dolph Ziggler to retain the Intercontinental Title

After the match, Dolph protests that Clay would have had to tap out, and goes right back into the sleeper hold. Clay indeed does fade, but it is too late tonight for Dolph.

Backstage, Austin Aries is interviewed about tonight’s #1 contender match for the Intercontinental Title. Aries say it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog, and anyway, this dog is the smartest as well, so tonight, he will become the #1 contender, and go one to beat Brodus Clay at Supercard and become the new Intercontinental Champion.

In the ring, Kassius Ohno awaits Kurt Angle. A back and forth match with both men getting in their share of offense ends when Angle catches Ohno with the Angle Slam off the ropes and makes the pin. After the match, Leo Kruger comes out on the ramp and crouches down watching Angle celebrate.

Kurt Angle bt Kassius Ohno

Backstage, Alberto Del Rio is interviewed about the upcoming match tonight. Del Rio reminds us he is a former two time Intercontinental Champion, and he knows what it takes to win the big matches. He says tonight is his time yet again, and he looks forward to beating Brodus Clay to become a three time Intercontinental Champion.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose come to the ring to face Ryback in a handicap match. Ambrose and Rollins double team Ryback and take him down to one knee with knees and elbows and spinning heel kicks. Ryback manages to fight them off long enough to get back to his feet and tries to separate his opponents, but they keep having each other’s back, and attack him as a pair. Ryback eventually manages to push Rollins down and concentrate on attacking Ambrose, eventually getting him in position for Shell Shocked. Rolling nails Ryback with a kick to the knee, causing him to drop Rollins. As Ambrose check on Seth, Ryback recovers to pick both men up and march around the ring before hitting a double Shell Shocked. Ryback pins both men. 1 2 3

Ryback bt Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose

Backstage, it’s time for The Miz to be interviewed about tonight’s match. The Miz reminds us he too is a former Intercontinental Champion, but none of that matters tonight. It’s a fatal four way. The first to get a pinfall or submission wins the match, so while Alberto Del Rio looks to soften someone up for the cross arm breaker, and while Big Show looks for a WMD, and while Austin Aries thinks he is outsmarting everyone, which is too bizarre to be true, The Miz will be looking for pinfalls and submissions, and tonight someone is going to feel the Skull Crushing Finale; the same way Brodus Clay will feel it at Supercard.

John Cena and Kane come to the ring and Cena wonders which of Triple H’s buddies will be here tonight. He says they got one over on the New Age Outlaws last week, so let’s see who it is tonight. X Pac’s music hits and he runs to the ring and does the crotch chop in Cena and Kane’s faces. He is joined by Kevin Nash who slowly makes his way to the ring and walks over the top rope. Kane and X Pac start this one with X Pac unleashes a series of kicks, knocking Kane back into the corner. X Pac gets the Bronco Buster on Kane, and then tags in Nash. Nash slowly walks up to Kane sizing him up before hitting some chest chops, keeping Kane in the corner. Nash whips Kane across the ring and follows up with the big boot, knocking Kane down, and making a cover. Kane kicks out on one. Kane starts to get the upper hand on Nash, delivering knife edge chops of his own, and forcing Nash into the corner, where X Pac makes a blind tag. Kane takes X Pac down to the canvas with an arm drag, before tagging in Cena. Cena knocks X Pac down with shoulder blocks before doing the You Can’t See Me gesture and hitting the five knuckle shuffle. Cena goes to pick up X Pac for the Attitude Adjustment, but Nash gets in the ring. Nash is caught by Kane who gets him ready for a chokeslam. Kane nails Nash as Cena hits the AA on X Pac and makes the cover. 1 2 3

John Cena & Kane bt Kevin Nash & X Pac to retain tag Team Titles

Backstage, Big Show is asked about his thoughts on tonight’s #1 contender match. Show is all business and walks off without saying a word.

Damian Sandow comes to the ring with a mic. He says it is a travesty that there is a #1 contender match tonight for the Intercontinental Title and that he is not in it. He says he is the most recent former Intercontinental Champion, and he deserves retribution. Much more so than his opponent tonight, Kofi Kingston, who although is also a former Intercontinental Champion, is just a footnote in history, as his reign was over 18 months ago. He says after he beats Kofi tonight, he will challenge the winner of the fatal four way next week to determine the true #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title at Supercard. You’re welcome.

Kofi comes to the ring and the bell rings, but Dolph Ziggler races to the ring, and takes out Sandow from behind with the Zig Zag, before catching Kofi in the sleeper hold. The referee calls for the bell as Kofi fades, and Dolph raises his arms in the middle of the ring.

Damian Sandow V Kofi Kingston is declared a No Contest

Backstage, CM Punk is asked about who his partner is going to be tonight now that Colt Cabana is serving a suspension. Punk reminds us that he is a three time former tag Team Champion, so he knows what tag team wrestling is all about. He says he assures us that the partner he picks tonight will know exactly what to do, and there is no way Mick Foley and his mystery partner will be able to get the win tonight.

Tyson Kidd comes to the ring, followed by Antonio Cesaro and their match is next. Tyson goes on the offensive early, with his high flying moves taking Cesaro off guard. Tyson knocks Cesaro down to the mat with a kick to the head from the top rope and goes for a cover. Cesaro kicks out on one. Cesaro regains his composure and starts getting control through his power game. He knocks Tyson down with a shoulder block, before going to the ropes himself, and collecting Tyson with a flying European upper cut. Cesaro makes the cover. 1 2 Tyson kicks out. Cesaro pulls Tyson up and looks for his Neutralizer finisher, but Tyson escapes, and grabs Antonio’s legs to pull him to the mat and set him up for the sharpshooter. Tyson locks in the hold, and Antonio tries to make his way to the ropes. He inches closer, but Tyson pulls him back to the centre of the ring. Cesaro uses his last strength to lift himself off the canvas and grab Tyson around the neck, pulling him to the canvas. Tyson covers, but Cesaro again kicks out on one, and then reverses the hold, putting Tyson in a sharpshooter. Tyson makes his way to the ropes, and Cesaro breaks the hold, but nails Tyson with another European upper cut before picking him up and hitting the Gotch Neutralizer and making the cover. 1 2 3

Antonio Cesaro bt Tyson Kidd

Jack Swagger comes to the ring and says Derrick Bateman has to stop pretending to be an American hero. Swagger says he is a two time all American American, while Bateman has contributed nothing to America outside of wearing the flag on his wrestling gear. Bateman comes to the ring wearing his USA trunks, to the tune of Real American and carrying an American Flag. Bateman says how dare Swagger question his love of country, his passion and his integrity. He says there is only one way to settle this. At Supercard, they need to have a flagpole match. The first one to capture the flag is the True All American American Hero. Swagger accepts the match, and Bateman leaves waving the flag all the way back up the ramp.

Christian makes his way to the ring carrying a chair, and his chairs match with Jeff Hardy is up next. Jeff Hardy comes out but waits to get into the ring until Christian drops the chair. The match starts with Christian going on the offensive and hitting a DDT on Jeff straight on the chair. Christian goes for a quick cover, but Jeff kicks out. Christian picks up the chair and waits for Jeff to get to his feet, but swings and misses, and hardy hits a drop toe hold, nailing Christian face first into the chair. Hardy makes the cover, but Christian kicks out. Jeff kicks the chair out of the ring and we go back to a traditional match, with both men going back and forth and hitting their signature moves, before Christian goes outside again to get the chair. Hardy drop kicks the chair into Christian’s face and then goes to the top rope to hit the Swanton Bomb on Christian on the chair. Jeff makes the cover. 1 2 3.

Jeff Hardy bt Christian

Backstage, Mick Foley is asked about his partner tonight. Foley says he has always been a loner, and after over twenty years it’s hard for a leopard to change his spots. So he figured that the only way he could make this work tonight was pick someone who is as much of a loner as he is, and tonight we’ll see if two renegades, two outsiders, two loners, can co-exist.

Big Show, The Miz, Austin Aries and Alberto Del Rio are in the ring for their #1 contender match for the Intercontinental Title. The first man to gain a pinfall or submission becomes the new #1 contender. The match starts with Big Show being attacked by the other three competitors until he is off his feet and they roll him out of the ring. Alberto then turns on the other two, but is knocked down by missile drop kicks from both Aries and Miz. Miz then tries to catch Aries for his finishing move, but Aries reverses it and hits Miz with a German suplex. Aries makes the cover, but Del Rio is there to break it up. Del Rio goes to work on Aries’ arm, setting him up for his submission manoeuvre. Miz regains control, knocking both men down, before Big Show gets back in the ring and takes out all three with a running clothesline. Show picks up Miz and throws him to the outside, and then picks up Aries and nails him with a chokeslam. Show makes the cover. 1 2 Del Rio with an elbow from behind to break it up. Show rolls away and Del Rio looks for the cross arm breaker on Aries, but Show is back with the WMD to knock Del Rio out. Show looks for the cover, but Aries rolls outside the ring. Show stands alone in the middle of the ring while the others circle it looking to get back into the match. Before they can though, Damian Sandow, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler run to ringside and we have a pier six brawl. Big Show tells the referee to count them out, but he is told this is a pinfall or submission match only. As the six fight outside the ring, and Show intimidates the referee, Brodus Clay comes from nowhere into the ring to attack Big Show from behind, nailing him to the canvas before hitting the Funk It splash. Clay looks over the ropes and laughs at the others fighting, before Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Big Show V The Miz V Alberto Del Rio V Austin Aries is declared a No Contest

Triple H says he has seen enough tonight to make some important decisions about Supercard. He says as far as his tag team match with John Cena and Kane goes, he deliberately got his buddies involved to end any conjecture about one of them being his partner at Supercard. It’s just a shame that they couldn’t win the tag Titles on their own merits. He says he will reveal his Tag Team partner at Supercard, but not until the week before. However, there are other matches that we can now make. Ryback seems unstoppable and can beat Rollins and Ambrose together, but he is interested in how they will go if it’s a triple threat match. So at Supercard, the European Title will be on the line in a triple threat match between Ryback, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

Also tonight, we saw four of the best pure wrestler in all of All Star Wrestling in singles matches. He’s talking about Kurt Angle, Antonio Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Kassius Ohno. Triple H says they should be rewarded for their professionalism, and all four deserve of a title shot. So this is what we’re gonna do. At Supercard, we’re going to have a four way elimination match. The first to be eliminated will get a shot at the European Title; the second to be eliminated, a shot at the Tag Team Titles (which will be against me by the way). The last to be eliminated will get a shot at the Intercontinental Title, and the winner of the match will be the new #1 contender for the World Title. All of these matches will take place at Resolution 2013 on January 25.

That just leaves the Intercontinental Title match at Supercard. Triple H says he respects Brodus Clay and his new attitude. He more than anyone, appreciates someone who can turn a gimmick into a bad ass, ass kicking machine. So he’s going to give Brodus the chance to prove he has got what it takes. Since everybody wants to be a contender for the Intercontinental Title, and since Brodus wants to be such a bad ass, at Supercard we’re going to have ourselves another Elimination match. But this one is going to be a little bit different. This one is going to be an Elimination Chamber match. Last man standing will be the Intercontinental Champion. So it’s going to be Brodus Clay V Big Show V Dolph Ziggler V Alberto Del Rio V The Miz V Austin Aries V Damian Sandow V Kofi Kingston. And at the end of the match there will be no doubt who is truly worthy of being the Intercontinental Champion.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is asked if he is going to accept Mark Henry’s challenge for the World Title tonight. Bryan says he is a fighting champion and he will take on anyone anywhere any time.

CM Punk comes to the ring and says back in 2009 no one was cheering CM Punk. He says there was one man who was hated more than him though, and they joined forces. And they became two time tag team champions. So tonight, when CM Punk needed a partner, there was one man who he knew he could rely on. And here he is…Chris Jericho’s music hits and he comes out to stand aside CM Punk waiting for Mick Foley.

Foley’s music hits and he comes to the ring, and he says it is serendipity that CM Punk chose Chris Jericho to be his partner tonight. As he said earlier, he was looking for someone who was as much as a loner as he, and tonight he found someone who completely fits the bill. He asks CM Punk, Chris Jericho and the crowd to welcome his partner…..Sting’s music hits, and the Icon comes down to the ring ready for this tag match which is up next.

CM Punk starts off with Sting, and Sting draws on the crowd for inspiration, while Punk treats him with disdain and hits Sting with some low kicks to the legs. Sting eventually goes after Punk and overpowers him, moving him into the corner before hitting some chops to the chest. Sting jumps onto the bottom rope, but Punk pushes him back into the ring. Punk climbs to the top rope and nails Sting with the Savage elbow and makes a cover. Sting kicks out on one, and Punk tags in Chris Jericho. Jericho grabs Sting’s legs and looks to set him up for the Walls of Jericho early, but Sting reaches up and hits a thumb to the eye, leaving Jericho reeling. Sting tags in Mick Foley who unleashes a barrage of punches onto Jericho, knocking him against the ropes. Foley bounces off the ropes and looks for a high knee, but Jericho pulls down the ropes, and Foley falls to the outside. As Foley makes his way back into the ring, Jericho makes the tag to CM Punk. Punk rubs his hands with glee as he gets a chance to get his hands on Foley, and hits some low kicks, knocking Foley down to his knees. Punk hits a high knee to Foley’s face, levelling him down on the canvas. Punk indicates he is going to go for the GTS, and lifts Foley up, but as he spins him around, Foley makes the tag to Sting. Punk hits the GTS and goes for the cover, but the referee tells him Sting is now the legal man. Punk looks up to walk into Sting knocking him down and goes looking for the Scorpion Death Lock. Punk struggles to make his way to the ropes and tags in Jericho. Jericho and Sting go back and forth, both trying to take each other’s legs down for their submission moves. Sting sweeps Jericho’s legs from under him and looks again for his finisher, but Punk comes in to break it up. Sting tags in Foley, who goes straight after Punk with the Mandible Claw. Punk is fading fast, but Jericho recovers and hits the codebreaker on Foley, breaking his hold, and then makes the cover. 1 2 3

Chris Jericho/CM Punk bt Mick Foley/Sting

As a result, CM Punk will now get Mick Foley one on one at Supercard.

Sheamus comes to the ring and starts to talk about last week’s match before he is interrupted by Batista. Sheamus tells Batista it has been two and a half years, so fella, say whatever is on your mind and get it off your chest. Batista says he is a former All Star Wrestling World Champion. His last singles match back in 2010 was against an up and coming fella who he knew would one day also be All Star Wrestling World Champion. Sheamus went on to prove that, but he never once acknowledged that it was Batista who put him on that path. Batista says before then Sheamus was fighting Nigel McGuinness for the European Title; and with all respect to Nigel, he’s been gone just as long as Batista has. Batista tells Sheamus their match at Supercard is all about respect.

Sheamus says first of all, no one respects Nigel McGuinness more than he does; and he hopes one day he makes it back to All Star Wrestling to fulfil his potential. Sheamus says he has nothing but respect for Batista too. Why wouldn’t he? He’s The Animal. He’s a former All Star Wrestling World Champion. But it’s not 2010 anymore. Sheamus was champion for nine months this year, and reminds Batista that last time he was champ it was only for 12 weeks before he was beaten by John Morrison. Sheamus says if you want to talk about where are they now, let’s talk about losing the World Title to someone who has never been the same since and is no longer even here.

Batista asks Sheamus if he can remember back to 2005, or has he taken too many shots to the head. Because back in 2005 Batista beat Kane to become the World Champion, and it was a title he held for a full year; something only Triple H himself has done since.

Sheamus says in 2005, George Bush was somehow still president, and U2 were slowly coming back to their roots, so things change fella. You know what else has changed? Sheamus nails Batista with the Brogue Kick out of nowhere and leaves the ring.

Mark Henry makes his way to the ring, followed by Daniel Bryan for the World Title match. When the bell rings, Daniel Bryan immediately jumps up on Mark Henry looking for the guillotine choke hold. Henry staggers around the ring before eventually slamming Bryan into the turnbuckle to break the hold. Henry starts to dominate Bryan, splashing him in the corner before following up with knees and chops to the chest. Henry sends Bryan to the opposite corner with an Irish Whip and follows up with another splash, leaving Bryan prone on the mat. Henry makes the cover. 1 2 Bryan kicks out. Henry picks up Bryan and puts him in a bear hug. Bryan is starting to fade when Wade Barrett runs to the ring and nails Henry from behind. The referee calls for the bell.

Mark Henry bt Daniel Bryan via DQ. Daniel Bryan retains the World Title.

After the match, Barrett continues the beat down on Henry, screaming to him that it is Barrett’s time. He drags Barrett out of the ring and onto the announce table. Barrett lifts up Henry and hits wasteland through the table. Barrett gets back in the ring as Bryan regains his feet, and whips him into the ropes, catching him with the Bullhammer elbow. Barrett stands tall above Daniel Bryan, while the EMTs come out for Mark Henry, as All Star Wrestling goes off the air.

Tune into All Star Wrestling next week. Ten matches every week!

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling – results from December 14, 2012

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title – Brodus Clay (16/11/2012)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

The show starts with Triple H coming to the ring with a mic. Triple H says it looks like we’ve set up one hell of a card for Supercard in two weeks’ time. There’s just one piece of the puzzle left to put in place, and that is who is going to be his partner against John Cena and Kane? Triple H says he has ruled out Kevin Nash, X Pac and the New Age Outlaws; though he does wish to thank them all for their efforts and they will be involved tonight in an eight man tag match against four of the contenders for the Intercontinental Title – Big Show, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio and Austin Aries.
Triple H says Cena and Kane aren’t off the hook tonight, and they will have to defend their Tag Titles once again, and tonight it will be against Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel. And just for the record, neither of those two will be Triple H’s partner either. Triple H says he isn’t known as the Cerebral Assassin for nothing, and he enjoys playing mind games, but all will be revealed next week. A Rocky chant starts in the crowd, countered by a Stone Cold chant, and Triple H just smiles to himself.
Triple H says with so many wrestlers getting ready for Supercard, tonight is an opportunity for some others in the back to show us all what they’ve got, and push for a spot in one of the three 20 Man battle royal matches at Resolution on January 25. And we’re going to start right now with the Usos against the British Invasion.

Doug Williams & Magnus bt Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso when Williams traps Jey in the Texas Cloverleaf for the submission win.

Zack Ryder comes to the ring and does his WWWYKI bit, before being joined in the ring by Big E Langston.

Big E Langston bt Zack Ryder with the Big Ending

Heath Slater makes his way to the ring and says he should be having a match at Supercard. He says it’s all about politics. Slater says it’s ok though coz he plans on entering himself in one of the battle royal matches at Resolution and going on to become All Star Wrestling Champion. Trent Barreta makes his way to the ring and tells Slater he has to earn his spot. Trent says he has busting his ass all year, and that he is a former European and Tag Team Champion, but he too doesn’t have a spot on Supercard. The difference between he and Slater though is Trent has respect for every single guy in the back who busts his ass each and every week to get to the top, and he’s going to teach Slater about respect tonight.

After a high flying match with a lot of near falls, Heath Slater hits the jumping Russian leg sweep and makes the cover. 1 2 3

Heath Slater bt Trent Barreta

Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring with a mic. He says he is blessed to still be here in All Star Wrestling, and he has had a great career, being a multi time Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion. But he is still asked about the epic ladder matches, the chair matches and the table matches he has had over the years. He says in two weeks, it will be an honour to be on the same team as Bully Ray. Jeff says he has taken some beatings over the years from Bully so it will be a nice change to put a beating on his brother Matt and Christian, who just had to interfere a few weeks back. This brings out Christian who tells Jeff that no one wanted to see Jeff Hardy V Bully Ray at Supercard. Christian says this match needed some star quality, and Jeff should be thanking him for interfering and setting up the match everyone wanted to see. Tyson Kidd comes to the ring and says he has all respect for Jeff Hardy for battling his demons and coming back to the top of the tree once again. Tyson says he is the last man ever to be trained at the famous Hart Dungeon, and Christian should have some respect. Christian says he could beat Bret Hart any day of the week, which causes Tyson to get up in his face. Kassius Ohno comes to the ring and tells Tyson Kidd that he should be worried about their match at Supercard with Antonio Cesaro and Kurt Angle, instead of flying the flag for the Hart Foundation. All four men square off and we have an impromptu match.

Christian and Tyson start off and Tyson gets on top with his speed and agility, before Christian tags Ohno in who overpowers Tyson with a brutal clothesline. Ohno goes for a pin, but Tyson kicks out on one. Ohno whips Tyson into the ropes, who ducks another clothesline, and slides under Ohno’s legs. As Ohno bends down, Tyson catches him with a shot to the chin, and Ohno recoils as Tyson tags in Jeff Hardy. Hardy goes to work on Ohno in the corner with elbows and chest shots. Ohno pushes Hardy back into the centre of the ring and tags Christian in. Christian drags Hardy to his feet and hits a series of elbows, forcing Hardy back into his corner, where Tyson makes the tag. Kidd goes after Christian and knocks him to the canvas, before looking for a sharpshooter. Christian crawls to the ropes to break the hold and again tags in Ohno, who nails the rolling elbow KO out of nowhere and makes the pin. 1 2 3

Kassius Ohno & Christian bt Tyson Kidd & Jeff Hardy

Backstage, Batista is asked to respond to Sheamus nailing him with the Brogue Kick last week. Batista says Sheamus got lucky last week, and caught him off guard, but that won’t happen again. At Supercard, Sheamus is in for the beating of his life, and after the match, Batista will walk away satisfied that he came back to do what he said he was going to do. Beat Sheamus within an inch of his damn life.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Wade Barrett are in the ring awaiting their opponents. European Champion Ryback is out next, followed by Intercontinental Champion Brodus Clay, and then World Champion Daniel Bryan.

Rollins and Ambrose immediately go after Ryback, knocking him out to the floor, and battling up the ramp, effectively leaving this a handicap match for Barrett. Ryback and Bryan go after him, and the numbers game soon catches up. Barrett escapes the ring and gets deliberately counted out.

Daniel Bryan, Brodus Clay & Ryback bt Wade Barrett, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose

After the match, Barrett gets a mic on the floor, and tells Daniel Bryan he isn’t going to waste his energy in a meaningless battle like tonight. He is going to save all of his efforts for two weeks’ time at Supercard, when he will become the next All Star Wrestling World Champion.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is asked about his Legends Title defence against Sting at Supercard. Jericho asks if anyone has been watching lately? Did anyone watch last week? Chris Jericho and CM Punk decimated Sting and ol’ Mick Foley didn’t they? The same way Jericho will destroy Sting in two weeks at Supercard. Jericho says he may just hang on to the Legends Title until 2015 when CM Punk is eligible to challenge, and that match would truly be the best in the world.

A triple threat match is up next, as contenders in the Intercontinental Title Elimination Chamber match make their way to the ring; Kofi Kingston, Damian Sandow and Dolph Ziggler.

Each wrestler size each other up before Sandow and Ziggler attack Kofi, knocking him into the corner. Ziggler launches himself at Kofi with a splash, and Kofi staggers into the middle of the ring to be knocked down by Sandow. Sandow makes a cover, but Dolph pulls him off. Sandow looks indignant and Dolph attacks him with a flurry of punches, knocking Sandow against the ropes. Dolph clotheslines Sandow over the top rope and taunts him from over the rope before turning around into Trouble in Paradise from Kofi. Kofi makes the cover. 1 2 Sandow grabs Kofi’s foot and puts it on the ropes for the save. Sandow gets back in the ring and now he and Kofi double team Ziggler. Sandow hits Ziggler with the Elbow of Disdain, before Kofi follows up with the Boom Drop. Kofi covers, but Sandow drags him up and tosses him over the top rope. Sandow turns back to Dolph who leaps up to put Sandow in the submission sleeper hold. Sandow starts to fade and the referee raises his arm. It drops once, twice….three times and the referee calls for the bell.

Dolph Ziggler bt Damian Sandow, Kofi Kingston

Backstage, Sheamus laughs off Batista’s threat to finish him. Sheamus says it is he who finished Batista back in 2010, and he will finish him again at Supercard. He says the Batista Bomb hasn’t been seen for two years, while the Brogue Kick was seen in full effect just last week. Sheamus gets serious and says Batista is going to be sorry he ever stepped back into All Star Wrestling, coz fella, I’ve retired your dumb arse once, and I can do it twice.

Oh you didn’t know? Your ass better call somebody!!! Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X Pac and Kevin Nash make their way to the ring for their match which is up next. Austin Aries is out first and gets in the faces of the Kliq, not backing down. Alberto Del Rio is out next and he waits in the corner. The Miz is next to the ring, followed by Big Show who makes a point of getting right in the face of Kevin Nash as the bell rings.

We start off with The Miz and Billy Gunn. Both are evenly matched, but Gunn gets Miz in a headlock and drags him over to the corner to tag in Road Dogg, who ships Miz into the ropes and nails him with a knee to the gut. Road Dogg drags Miz up and looks for the pump handle slam, doggy style. Dogg nails it and makes a cover. Miz kicks out on one, and tags in Austin Aries. Aries goes after Dogg with forearms and elbows, forcing him into the corner. Aries looks for the brain buster off the second rope, but X Pac breaks up the move. Aries dares X Pac into the ring, but Dogg tags in Kevin Nash instead. Nash towers over Aries, but Aries refuses to be intimidated and unleashes chops and kicks to Big Sexy. Nash eventually overpowers Aries and tosses him back into his corner, where Big Show makes the blind tag. Show and Nash square off and Nash starts talking trash while Show chests him across the ring back towards his own corner. Nash looks for a punch but Show blocks it and hits the WMD, causing Nash to fall to the mat, but not before X-Pac can make a blind tag. X-Pac tries to nail Show with his martial arts kicks, but Show swats him down to the mat. Aries, Miz and Del Rio get in the ring and start to attack Show from behind as this one breaks down. They all combine to hit Show with a triple DDT before Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale. Del Rio locks on the cross arm breaker, before they drag him to the corner. X-Pac nails show with the Bronco Buster, before they all drag Show to the middle of the ring. Miz, Del Rio and Aries hold Show down while X-Pac hits a splash from the top rope and makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kevin Nash, X-Pac, Billy Gunn & Road Dogg bt Big Show, The Miz, Austin Aries & Alberto Del Rio

After the match, Brodus Clay comes to the ring and Miz, Del Rio and Aries escape the ring. Kevin Nash recovers and he and Clay drag Show to his feet and hit a double jack knife power bomb. Clay shakes hands with all of the Kliq before standing over Show lying in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, Sting is asked to respond to the comments earlier tonight by Chris Jericho. Sting simply says he has said all he has to say, and he will do all his talking in the ring at Supercard in two weeks.

Bully Ray comes to the ring followed by Kurt Angle. They are joined in the ring by Matt Hardy and Antonio Cesaro for a tag team match. Bully and Matt immediately battle outside of the ring and Bully slams Matt into the barricade as Cesaro and Angle square off in the ring. Cesaro takes Angle down to the mat but Angle counters and gets Cesaro in a reverse chin lock. Cesaro rolls through and captures Angle in a half nelson on the mat, as Matt recovers on the outside and leaps from the announce table to take down Bully Ray on the steel steps. In the ring, Angle breaks the hold and gets Cesaro set up for a German Suplex. Angle nails it and hold on to hit a second and then a third. Cesaro rolls away but Angle makes the cover. 1 2 Cesaro kicks out. Cesaro gets back to his feet and nails Angle with forearms and high knees before knocking him to the mat with a European Uppercut. Outside the ring, Bully has recovered and picks up Matt Hardy and hits the Bully Bomb on the steel steps. Cesaro meanwhile looks for the Neutralizer, but Angle crawls out of it and gets Cesaro in the ankle lock. Cesaro tries to make his way to the ropes, but Bully is there to stop him getting there. Matt Hardy comes back and nails Bully from behind before assisting Cesaro to the ropes, forcing Angle to break the hold. As Angle argues with Matt, Cesaro nails Angle from behind with an elbow to the head, and Angle turns around into another devastating European Uppercut. Hardy holds Angle’s legs out of sight of the referee as Cesaro covers. 1 2 3

Antonio Cesaro & Matt Hardy bt Kurt Angle & Bully Ray

Jack Swagger comes to the ring with a US flag and says he is the true All American American and at Supercard he cannot wait to raise two US flags and put Derrick Bateman to shame. Bateman comes out to the Real American music again, with a flag of his own, and says he is the true American Hero and he too cannot wait to drape himself in tow Old Glory flags at Supercard. Triple H’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with a mic. Triple H says he appreciates how much both Swagger and Bateman love their country and how much both are prepared to defend the honour of the US flag at Supercard. He says that this match needs something else though. Something a little bit more special worthy of a Supercard bout. Something a little more American. Something more a little Real American. The music of Real American hits and Hulk Hogan makes his way to the ring.

Hulk looks at Swagger and Bateman and says You know something brother? I appreciate the passion you both have for this great country. Nobody appreciates that more than the Hulkster. So when Trips called me up and said can I be a part of this match there was no way I could knock him back. So in two weeks brother, at Supercard, it’s going to be a Flag Match. Derrick Bateman and Jack Swagger in this very ring, with a special guest referee. The REAL American, Hulk Hogan. Triple H claps as the crowd goes nuts for Hogan.

CM Punk comes to the ring and starts saying how Mick Foley tries to portray himself as an outsider. He says Sting last week wasn’t his first tag team partner. Foley has always been ready to be a tag team partner when it suits, whether it’s The Rock, Terry Funk, Stone Cold Steve Austin or any number of other wrestlers. Punk says the whole idea of Foley being a loner is laughable, and he fully expects to encounter some of Foley’s colleagues at Supercard in two weeks. So tonight, he is calling out one of Foley’s forgotten partners to make an example of him, and teach Foley a lesson; that anyone interfering in their match at Supercard will be dealt with accordingly. So, let’s bring him out to the ring. Let’s bring out….Al Snow…

Snow tries to hook up with Punk early, but Punk counters into an arm bar and then a half nelson before nailing Snow from behind with punches and elbows to the back of the head. Snow falls to the mat and Punk drags him to his feet and hits the GTS for the cover and win.

CM Punk bt Al Snow

After the match, Punk stalks Snow before locking him into the Anaconda Vice. Snow is tapping out but Punk refuses to break the hold. Mick Foley runs down to the ring and CM Punk breaks the hold to square off against Foley. Both trade punches back and forth before the sound of the glass breaks, and Stone Cold Steve Austin comes down the ramp! Foley and Punk stop in their tracks as Austin gets in the ring with a mic.

Austin says no one thought that Triple H could just bring back Hulk Hogan as a special guest referee and expect old Stone Cold to sit at home and watch now could ya? Stone Cold says he’s gonna be a better damn special guest referee than Hogan ever could, and in the match between Mick Foley and CM Punk he’s gonna call it straight down the line. And to prove it…..Stunner to CM Punk!! Stunner to Mick Foley!! Austin calls for some beers in the ring to celebrate as his music hits.

Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel make their way to the ring for their shot at the Tag Team Titles in the main event which is next.

John Cena and Kane come to the ring and we start off with Cena and Gabriel. Gabriel looks for some forearms and chops, but Cena overpowers him and has him against the ropes. Cena whips him across the ring and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Cena tags in Kane who picks up Gabriel and places him onto the top rope. Kane looks for a chokeslam, but Gabriel fends him off and hits a modified hurricarana off the top rope, before tagging in Daniels. Daniels hits the BME on Kane and covers. 1 2 Kane kicks out. Daniels drags the Big Red Machine to his feet and hits chops and kicks into a corner, but gets pushes back into the middle of the ring. Kane tags in Cena who nails Daniels with a shoulder block before doing the You Can’t See Me shtick and hitting the five knuckle shuffle. Cena lifts Daniels up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Gabriel rushes the ring only to be met with Kane looking for a chokeslam. Both Cena and Kane hit their finishing moves and Cena makes the cover. 1 2 3

John Cena & Kane bt Christopher Daniels & Justin Gabriel to retain the Tag Team Titles

After the match, Triple H comes to the ramp entrance and mock applauds.

As Triple H stands on the top of the ramp, Ric Flair’s music hits. Triple H smiles as Flair joins Triple H at the top of the ramp. Cena & Kane look on from the ring, and we may have found our last piece of the Supercard puzzle as All Star Wrestling goes off the air.

Tune into All Star Wrestling next week. Ten matches every week!!

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling – results from December 21, 2012

World Title - Daniel Bryan (26/10/12)
Intercontinental Title – Brodus Clay (16/11/2012)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (19/10/12)

We recap last week’s three big returns to All Star Wrestling – Hulk Hogan who will be the special guest referee in the flag match between Derrick Bateman and Jack Swagger; Stone Cold Steve Austin, who will also be a special guest referee in the match between CM Punk and Mick Foley; and Ric Flair, who joined Triple H at the top of the ramp as last week’s show went off the air.

Tonight we start with Flair’s music hitting and the Nature Boy making his way down to the ring with mic in hand. Flair says he knows what we’re all thinking. That Ric Flair is going to partner Triple H next week at Supercard in the match against Kane and John Cena for the Tag Team Titles. Flair says he is going to clear up this misconception right now. Flair said he came back to All Star Wrestling to stand alongside Triple H, and to be a part of Supercard. But he didn’t come back here to wrestle. He just came back here to be in Hunter’s corner. Flair says he knows as much as anybody about who Triple H is going to choose as his partner. But he sure is looking forward to the ride tonight as we find out who it’s going to be.

This brings Kane and John Cena to the ring and they get in Flair’s face. Cena asks Flair why he bothered to come back. To stand in a corner and watch? Why didn’t he just stay home and watch it all on TV? Cena says he and Kane are going to humiliate Triple H next week no matter if his partner is Kevin Nash, X-Pac, Ric Flair or anyone else. Flair gets in Cena’s face, and says nobody ever, ever has humiliated Triple H and Cena won’t be the one to start. Cena says to Flair how about he humiliates him right here tonight then? Cena calls Flair out for a match tonight. Flair gets flustered and takes off his jacket and tie and does a big WOOO! in Cena’s face. Daniel Bryan’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring looking pissed.

Bryan says Supercard is always the premier event of the year, but the World Title match is the main event of Supercard, and all of these has beens returning to All Star Wrestling are taking the spotlight away from the World Title at Supercard. He tells Ric Flair that he should just get out of his ring and go back to the retirement home where he belongs.
This brings out Triple H, who gets in the ring and tells Daniel Bryan he has a point. He says let’s bring the spotlight back onto Daniel Bryan. Triple H says Daniel Bryan will be in tonight’s main event as a warm up to Supercard. Bryan starts to do the NO chant, but Triple H tells him to settle down as it won’t be for the World Title. He says tonight Daniel Bryan will team up with Kane. And their opponents will be Triple H….and this man…

Wade Barrett comes down to the ring and starts unloading on Daniel Bryan. Kane tries to save Bryan, but Triple H nails him from behind and turns him around straight into a pedigree. Cena goes to look on Kane, but gets double teamed by Triple H and Ric Flair. Bryan and Barrett brawl up the ramp as Flair locks Cena into a figure four leg lock. Triple H steps back and laughs at Cena as Flair is screaming to Cena that if he wants a match, he’ll get one later tonight!

Jey Uso comes to the ring accompanied by Jimmy Uso. They are followed by Doug Williams. In a match of contrasting styles, with Williams trying to keep Jey on the mat, Doug catches Jey mid air from the top rope and nails him to the canvas and sets up the Texas Clover Leaf submission move for the win.

Doug Williams bt Jey Uso

Backstage, Ric Flair runs into Kurt Angle, and says he knows Angle effectively retired him at Supercard last year, and Flair has kept his word and hasn’t wrestled since. So if Angle wants him to pull out of the match with John Cena tonight, he’ll do so out of respect for Angle. Cena walks by and overhears and tells Flair he can’t believe he is already trying to weasel out of their match. Angle looks at Cena, then at Flair and tells Flair he has Angle’s blessing to go old school on his ass.

Trent Barreta and Richie Steamboat square off next against Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Steamboat and McIntyre start off and McIntyre uses his superior height and strength to get the upper hand. Steamboat makes the tag and Barreta flies around the ring, taking McIntyre off his feet. Slater tags himself in, but can’t keep up with Barreta who nails Slater with an elbow from the top rope and makes the cover for the win.

Trent Barreta & Richie Steamboat bt Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre

Backstage, we see Brodus Clay talking to Kevin Nash and X-Pac and saying he has the toughest match of all at Supercard – seven other men inside Elimination Chamber. Brodus says the odds are stacked against him and he could lose his belt without even being pinned. Nash says he knows a way to even things up a little, and let him talk to the boss.

Santino Marella is in the ring for a match against Big E Langston. Santino tries to get in some early offense but is beaten in a squash match as Langston hits the Big Ending.

Big E Langston bt Santino Marella

Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel come to the ring and Daniels says it’s a travesty that they do not have a match at Supercard next week. He says they intend to show their displeasure with whoever has the guts to face them right here right now. Titus O’Neil and Percy Watson make their way to the ring accompanies by D-Von. Titus and Gabriel start things off with Titus pushing Daniels back against the ropes and hitting him with some chops to the chest. Daniels escapes through Titus’ legs, and hits a dropkick to the back of the knee causing Titus to fall to the mat. Daniels tags in Gabriel and holds Titus down long enough for Gabriel to climb the ropes and hit an elbow and go for the cover. Titus kicks out on two and manages to tag in Watson. Percy goes right after Gabriel, and knocks him down with a shoulder tackle before hitting ShowTime and making a cover. Gabriel also kicks out on two, and crawls to his corner to tag in Daniels. Daniels ducks a shoulder block and jumps up onto the ropes and nails Watson with the BME. Daniels makes the cover. 1 2 3

Christopher Daniels & Justin Gabriel bt Titus O’Neil & Percy Watson

Mick Foley comes to the ring with a mic. He says he was goaded into his match with CM Punk at Supercard by being accused on an alleged injustice at Battle Royal which simply did not happen. Foley says he doesn’t mind too much as he is looking forward to getting his hands on Punk and making him stop whining, and start squealing like a little girl when he gets stuck in the Mandible Claw. Foley says what he doesn’t look forward to is another stunner from guest referee Stone Cold Steve Austin. Foley says he and Austin go back a long long time, and he doesn’t appreciate what happened last week. Foley calls Austin to the ring and he demands an apology from the rattlesnake.

Austin comes to the ring and says he has never apologised for anything is his damn life and he ain’t about to start now. He says Foley is right – they go back a long time, and Foley should know that Stone Cold does whatever the hell Stone Cold wants. But he says he felt a little bad about what he did last week to Ol’ Mick. He says he went home and had a beer to think about what he did. Then he had another beer. A third beer. A Bloody Mary. A vodka. A fourth beer. And then it came to him what he should do. He tells Foley he’s not going to do him any favours at Supercard next week and he’s going to call it straight down the line. But he is going to do Mick a favour tonight. He says he is going to talk to the boss and see if can get CM Punk a little warm up match for tonight. Foley likes the idea, and Austin says let’s toast it with a beer. Austin and Foley share a beer in the ring.

Tyson Kidd comes to the ring to meet Kassius Ohno as we’re reminded about the unusual stipulation in the four man elimination match at Supercard next week between these two men, Kurt Angle and Antonio Cesaro, with each competitor being rewarded with a title shot – the title dependent on when they get eliminated in the match. Tyson uses his experience in the Hart Dungeon to tie Ohno up in knots early, but Ohno powers out of every hold and eventually knocks Tyson down to the mat. Ohno picks Tyson up and hits a spinebuster, before grabbing him by the head and slamming his head repeatedly into the mat and making a cover. 1 2 Tyson kicks out. Ohno throws Kidd out of the ring and tells the referee to start the count. Tyson drags himself back into the ring on seven, sliding under Ohno and bouncing off the ropes to hit a missile drop kick from behind, forcing Ohno to drape against the ropes. Kidd climbs to the top and nails Ohno in the face with another high flying kick. As Ohno tries to get to his feet, Tyson climbs high again and knocks Kassius down with a flying elbow. Tyson goes for a cover, but Ohno kicks out. Tyson then grabs Ohno’s legs and looks to lock in the sharpshooter. Ohno makes his way to the ropes, but Tyson drags him back into the middle of the ring, forcing Ohno to tap out.

Tyson Kidd bt Kassius Ohno

Backstage, both Kevin Nash and Steve Austin are in Triple H’s office. Austin says he wants to make it up to Foley by putting CM Punk in a match tonight. Triple H says fine, Austin can choose Punk’s opponent. Nash says Brodus Clay needs some kind of advantage as the current Intercontinental Champion. Triple H asks him what he had in mind. Nash suggests an over the top rope battle royal match between the other seven competitors in the Elimination Chamber match. Triple H says he likes it. He likes it so much, it can be up next.

Austin Aries is first to the ring, followed by Damian Sandow, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler. Brodus Clay comes out to join the commentary team. The match starts with everyone going after Big Show, just as they did last week. Show swats them away, nailing Kofi with a head butt and Aries with a huge clothesline. Kofi reels around into Sandow who hits him with the strait jacket neckbreaker. Sandow and The Miz pick Kofi up and throw him over the top rope. As Sandow taunts Kofi, Miz rolls Sandow over the top from behind. Aries and Ziggler are fighting it out in one corner, while Miz goes back to attacking Big Show, as Del Rio watches on. Show lifts Miz up for the chokeslam and hits the move on Miz over the top rope with Miz falling to the floor. Aries and Ziggler are nailed from behind by Del Rio who tries to lift them both over the top rope. Big Show hits a spear on Del Rio from behind; the momentum forcing Ziggler and Aries out of the ring. Show waits for Del Rio to get to his feet and hits him with the WMD knockout punch. With Del Rio unconscious, Show picks him up and drapes him over his shoulder, lifting him over the top rope and onto the floor. Big Show is the last man standing and stares down at Brodus Clay who gets to his feet at the commentary table, but doesn’t move towards Big Show.

Big Show wins Battle Royal match

Backstage, Stone Cold is in CM Punk’s locker room. Punk says he too would demand an apology, but he knows there is no point. Punk tells Austin to tell him who his opponent is so he can get on with being the best in the world, just like he will prove next week when he takes out the broken down, ravaged carcass of Mick Foley. Austin just looks at Punk and says What? Punk says What? Austin says Sheamus! Austin smiles and walks away, leaving Punk fuming.

We stay backstage to see Bateman and Swagger arguing over who is the true American Hero, when they are interrupted by Hulk Hogan. Hogan says HE is the Real American and has been since Hulkamania started running wild nearly 30 years ago. Swagger says he was just a baby and didn’t see Hulk at his best, but he sees the fire in Hogan’s eyes and he knows an All American American when he sees one, and tells Hogan that he and Swagger are one and the same. Bateman tells Swagger babies shouldn’t play with fire and walks off, leaving Swagger and Hogan looking confused.

Antonio Cesaro makes his way to the ring, followed by Kurt Angle. They lock up and Cesaro has Angle in a half nelson, before chopping across the chest. Angle reverses it and replies in kind. They both go to the mat and conduct some classic chain wrestling before Cesaro locks Angle in a wrist lock on the canvas. Angle bridges out of the hold and the two square off again. They go for the test of strength, which Cesaro wins. He head butts Angle in the chest, before pushing him against the ropes and hitting a European uppercut. Angle’s lip is split and he wipes the blood from his mouth which fires him up. Angle unloads on Cesaro with forearms and elbows, before grabbing Cesaro and hitting a German Suplex. Angle covers, but Cesaro kicks out on one. Angle whips Cesaro into the ropes and hits a high knee, and then goes for the Angle Slam, but Cesaro counters, and hits a side Russian leg sweep on Angle and covers. Angle easily kicks out and both men are back on their feet staring each other down. They hook up again and Cesaro has Angle in a side headlock, but gets pushed to the ropes and shouldered to the mat. Cesaro bounces back up, but is knocked down again by Angle. Angle goes for Cesaro’s ankle, but Cesaro makes it to the ropes. They trade blows across the ring again until Cesaro knocks Angle down with a high knee followed by another European uppercut. Cesaro climbs the ropes as Angle regains his feet and hits the flying European uppercut from the top rope. Cesaro picks Angle up for the Neutralizer, but Angle slides underneath and grabs Cesaro’s ankle and locks in the ankle lock. Cesaro desperately reaches for the ropes, but Angle has it locked in tight, and Cesaro is forced to submit.

Kurt Angle bt Antonio Cesaro

Batista joins the commentary team as Sheamus comes to the ring for his match with CM Punk. Punk refuses to start the match and leaves the ring, leaving Sheamus taunting him from the middle of the ring. Batista jumps up from the commentary table and gets in the ring to deliver an awesome Batista Bomb to Sheamus. CM Punk decided to get back into the ring and makes the cheap cover. 1 2 3

CM Punk bt Sheamus

After the match, CM Punk goes to leave as Sheamus rolls out of the ring, but Stone Cold’s music hits and he comes down to the ring. Austin hits a stunner of CM Punk, and calls for a couple of beers. Austin and Batista share beers in the ring, before Sheamus sneaks back in and hits a massive Brogue Kick on Sheamus. Sheamus calls for another beer and drinks with Austin. CM Punk looks on with disgust as he leaves the ring.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is asked about Sting saying last week that he would do all of his talking next week in the ring. Jericho says he is the master of 1004 holds, and he will put on a clinic for Sting next week. Jericho says he is the Legends Champion, and he sees a few Legends here tonight, but nobody, not Hogan, not Stone Cold, not Ric Flair, and certainly not Sting can beat him for the Legends Title.

John Cena makes his way to the ring, followed by the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, returning to the ring for the first time in a year. They go to lock up but Flair hits Cena with a thumb to the eye before giving the crowd a WOOO!! Cena recovers and knocks Flair down with a shoulder block. Flair bounces all over the ring and goes to the corner and begs off Cena. Flair gets back to his feet and hits another thumb to the eye and whips Cena into the corner. Flair hits Cena with chest chops before strutting in the ring. Cena explodes out of the corner and knocks Flair down again, before hitting the five knuckle shuffle. Cena looks for the STF, but Flair counters and spins it around so he has Cena in a figure four leg lock for the second time tonight. Cena tries to get to the ropes but can’t get there. Cena rolls around onto his stomach reversing the hold. Flair starts to look to tap out, but Cena breaks the hold and applies the STF. Flair is thrashing around in the ring looking for the ropes, but the hold is locked in tight. Triple H makes his way down the ramp but it is too late as Flair taps out.

John Cena bt Ric Flair

After the match, Triple H and Cena go blow for blow in the ring until Kane makes his way down to help Cena. Triple H goes after the Tag Team champs, and is joined in the ring by Wade Barrett to even things up. The referee orders Cena out of the ring as Daniel Bryan makes his way down to join the chaos in what is supposed to be our main event.

Cena stays ringside, as does Flair, as the referee regains control, and Triple H and Kane start things off. Kane gets the upper hand and pushes Triple H against the ropes, before a clothesline knocks him over the top rope onto the floor. Flair tells Triple H to get back in the ring, and The Game does so, wailing away on Kane with chops to the chest and elbows and forearms to the side of the head. Kane is forced across the ring, where he makes the tag to Daniel Bryan. Bryan unloads on Triple H, yelling NO with every shot, as we are reminded Bryan thinks he should be in the spotlight at Supercard as World Champion and not Triple H. Triple H makes a tag to Barrett, who uses his size advantage to overpower Bryan and knock him down with a clothesline. Bryan jumps up and then jumps at Barrett and is looking for his guillotine choke sleeper hold. Barrett flails around the ring enough for Triple H to tag himself in and he pushes Bryan over the top rope while still holding on to Barrett. Barrett gets to his feet and throws Daniel Bryan into the steel steps, before picking him up and hitting the Bullhammer on the floor, before picking Bryan up and sliding him back under the bottom rope. Triple H goes for a cover. 1 2 Kane is in to break it up. Cena and Flair argue outside the ring, distracting Triple H. Daniel Bryan goes for the schoolboy roll up and gets a two count, before tagging in Kane. Kane and Triple H trade blows again, as Barrett goes around the ring to attack Daniel Bryan again. Bryan and Barrett brawl around the ring and end up going through the crowd, as Cena tries to get in the ring to assist Kane. Flair knocks Cena to the ground though, as Kane walks into a pedigree. Triple H makes the cover. 1 2 Kane kicks out again. Triple H drags Kane to his feet and nails a second pedigree and makes the cover again. 1 2 3

Triple H & Wade Barrett bt Kane & Daniel Bryan

After the match, Cena pulls Kane out of the ring and they go to make their way up the ramp but are blocked by Nash and X-Pac. Triple H gets a mic and says he still has one piece missing from the puzzle that is Supercard. Flair joins Nash and X-Pac on the ramp and out to the back as Cena and Kane join Triple H in the ring. Triple H says they know now that Ric Flair will not be his partner next week at Supercard. They know it won’t be Kevin Nash or X-Pac; Billy Gunn or Road Dogg. Triple H says it’s time to reveal who his mystery partner is. At Supercard, for the Tag Team Titles it’s going to be John Cena and Kane against Triple H….and this man….

The lights go out. A gong is heard, and the crowd go wild. A blue light shines on the ramp and The Undertaker makes his way down the ramp slowly and gets in the ring to stand beside Triple H. The challengers get in the faces of Cena & Kane and you can feel the tension in the ring as All Star Wrestling goes off the air.

Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)

And welcome to SUPERCARD 2012

We start with The Real American music playing and out comes Hulk Hogan in a red and yellow striped referee’s uniform. Hogan panders to the crowd as we start the show with the flag match. Jack Swagger comes out first brandishing an American Flag, and places it in his corner as Hogan looks on. Derrick Bateman is out next also carrying a flag, and wearing USA long pants. He places his flag in his corner, and strips his pants off to reveal US Flag trunks.

The bell rings and they hook up for a test of strength, with Swagger forcing Bateman to the mat and paint brushing him in the middle of the ring. Swagger lets Bateman up and they go again, this time, Bateman catching Swagger in a half nelson. Swagger counters and reverses the hold and pushes Bateman into the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder block. Bateman quickly regains his feet and bounces off the ropes again, launching himself into Swagger and both men crash to the canvas. Bateman is up first and moves towards Swagger’s corner and the flag, but is caught by Swagger who Irish whips him into his own corner. Swagger follows up with a high knee and reaches over for Bateman’s flag. Bateman manages to push Swagger back down to the mat, and then climbs the ropes looking for the high elbow. Bateman connects and rushes over to Swagger’s corner looking to take the flag, but is caught by the ankle by Swagger. Swagger locks Bateman into the ankle lock and Bateman starts to tap out. Hogan is yelling at Bateman saying there are no submissions in the match as Bateman screams in agony. Swagger eventually breaks the hold and goes to Bateman’s corner and starts to take the flag. Bateman drags himself over to grab Swagger’s legs and try to stop him. Swagger kicks Bateman away and goes back to the flag. Bateman launches himself with one last effort at Swagger, but it’s too late as Swagger grabs the flag and starts to wave it all over the ring. Hogan declares Swagger the winner. Bateman gets back to his feet and salutes Swagger, before hugging Hogan and leaving the ring. Hogan invites Bateman back into the ring and all three do Hogan’s crowd pandering as Real American plays them off.

Backstage, Seth Rollins and Drew Ambrose are talking tactics in their European Title match against Ryback which is up next. It looks like it might be a glorified handicap match.

Rollins knocks him to the canvas with a standing drop kick and goes for the cover. 1 2 Ambrose in to make the save. Rollins looks at Ambrose and asks him why he broke it up, and Ambrose drops down to cover Ryback. Rollins breaks it up on the one count, and now Ambrose and Rollins trade blows in the middle of the ring. Ryback recovers and takes them both down with a double arm clothesline, before picking them both up and looks for Shell Shocked. Ambrose manages to jump down just as Ryback hits it on Rollins. Ambrose hits a missile drop kick to the head of Ryback, shaking him enough for Ambrose to sneak in and cover Rollins. 1 2 3 Dean Ambrose is the NEW European Champion. After the match Ryback glares at Ambrose and starts to go after him, but Ambrose escapes with the belt. Ryback turns his attention back to Rollins and hits Shell Shocked again.

The next match is the TLC match. The winner is by pinfall or submission, and tables, ladders and chairs are all legal. First to the ring is Matt Hardy, followed by Christian. They are followed by Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray. Christian and Jeff start off as the bell rings. Christian takes Jeff to the mat and holds him down with a well-placed knee to the back while holding on to Jeff’s wrists. Christian comes down heavily with the knee and Jeff rolls towards the ropes. Christian panders to the crowd while Jeff uses the ropes to get back to his feet, and he launches himself at Christian with a shoulder block. Both men now trade blows, before Hardy nails Christian with a missile drop kick and goes for a cover. Christian kicks out on one and rushes to make a tag to Matt Hardy. Matt and Jeff square up, with both reluctant to make the first move. Jeff decides to tag in Bully Ray, who goes straight after Matt, forcing him into the corner and nailing him with knife edge chops to the chest. Matt slumps in the corner, and Bully Ray goes outside and under the ring, and brings out a table. Bully Ray sets it up next to the ring apron, and gets back in the ring, where Matt has recovered. Matt hits a swinging neck breaker on Bully and goes for a cover. 1 2 Bully kicks out, and now Matt goes to the outside and drags a ladder out from under the ring. He sets it up on the outside and starts to climb as Bully slowly gets back to his feet. Matt gets about halfway up the ladder before launching himself at Bully Ray knocking him flying back to the canvas. Matt takes his time to recover enough to make a cover, and Bully kicks out on one and makes a tag back to Jeff. Jeff climbs to the top rope and hits a flying elbow on Matt, before dragging him up for the twist of fate. Outside, Christian is climbing the ladder and as Jeff makes the cover, Christian flies into the ring to break the cover off the ladder. Bully Ray gets back in the ring and all four men go at it. Bully knocks Christian out of the ring to the floor, and Christian grabs a steel chair. He jumps back on the ring apron and swings at Bully who ducks, and pushes Christian back off the ring apron and through the table outside. Bully and Jeff then turn their attention to Matt and double team him. Matt ducks the double clothesline and escapes the ring and climbs the ladder again. Jeff jumps outside and also starts to climb the ladder. Jeff and Matt slug it out at the top of the ladder, before Jeff manages to push Matt off hurtling back towards the ring. Bully Ray catches Matt in mid air and delivers a devastating Bully Bomb before making the cover. 1 2 3

Backstage, Wade Barrett is asked about his most recent matches with Daniel Bryan where he has been forced to submit. Barrett counters that the difference tonight is that the World Title is on the line. Barrett says he doesn’t know how many chances he may get at becoming World Champion, so he plans to take it tonight, and there is no way that he will quit tonight.

The next match is the Elimination Chamber match for the Intercontinental Title. Coming to the ring and entering the chambers are Alberto Del Rio, Austin Aries, Kofi Kingston and Damian Sandow. Out next is Big Show, followed by The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Intercontinental Champion, Brodus Clay.

Show throws Clay right into the chamber holding Del Rio and it shatters as Del Rio comes out to face Show while Clay tries to recover. Miz hits a swinging neck breaker of Dolph and then hauls him for the skull crushing finale, but Ziggler reverses it and hits Zig Zag and goes for a cover. Just as he does, Kofi’s chamber opens and he breaks up the count, before hitting s aeries of high flying kicks of Ziggler. On the other side of the ring, Show has Del Rio monstered in the corner and hits elbows, causing Del Rio to fall into the ring. Show goes for a cover, but Kofi and Miz break it up and double team Show, as Sandow enters from his chamber. Sandow immediately tries to cover Brodus, but Clay kicks out on two. Clay gets back to his feet and knocks Sandow down with a running shoulder block. Sandow gets up as Clay comes again, and Sandow pulls Dolph in front of him, and the force of Clay knocks both Ziggler and Sandow down. Austin Aries’ chamber opens and now all eight men are in the match.
Clay goes to cover both Dolph and Sandow, but Aries breaks it up and starts to nail Clay while he is still on the canvas with kicks to the head. Big Show breaks that up with the knock out punch and Aries falls to the mat. Clay crawls over to make the cover. 1 2 3 Aries is eliminated. Sandow and Dolph recover and they team up to take on Miz and Kofi, while Show drags Clay to his feet and looks for another KO. Del Rio jumps up and grabs Show’s arm, and Clay kicks at his knees to force Show to the mat. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker while Clay unloads with punches to the head, and Show is forced to tap out. Big Show is eliminated. Meanwhile, Kofi is on the top rope and flies at Sandow, only to meet the head butt of Brodus Clay. Kofi falls to the mat and Sandow makes an easy cover. 1 2 3 Kofi is now eliminated. Clay turns his attention to Sandow, as Ziggler looks for a sleeper hold on The Miz. Clay tosses Sandow into the corner and looks for a running splash, but Sandow moves out of the way. As Miz starts to fade in the sleeper hold, Sandow starts to trade blows with Del Rio in the middle of the ring. The referee raises the arm of The Miz once, twice, and three times, and fails to see Sandow land a low blow on Del Rio who falls to the mat. The Miz is eliminated, while Sandow quickly covers Del Rio and gets a three count. Alberto Del Rio is also eliminated. We are left with Dolph Ziggler, Brodus Clay and Damian Sandow. Sandow and Dolph team up and go after Clay, but he knocks them down with a double arm clothesline. Dolph rolls out of the ring and Clay picks Sandow up and tosses him into the ropes. Clay looks for the Funk It splash, but Ziggler is back in the ring, and hits Clay with Zig Zag. Ziggler covers. 1 2 Clay kicks out. Sandow is up and hits the elbow of disdain on Clay and makes a cover. 1 2 Ziggler pulls Sandow off Clay and goes for the cover himself, but Clay kicks out on one. Sandow goes after Ziggler now, and locks him up to hit the straight jacket neckbreaker, and makes a cover. 1 2 3 Dolph Ziggler is eliminated. Sandow gets up and panders to the crowd, but walks right into a spear from Brodus Clay who makes the cover. 1 2 3 Brodus Clay retains the Intercontinental Title.

Sheamus enters the ring, followed by Batista. They hook up as the bell rings and look for a test of strength early, with both men trying to out muscle the other. Neither man budges from the middle of the ring, and Sheamus gets Batista in a head lock, but is pushed to the ropes, and met with a shoulder block by Batista. Sheamus doesn’t budge, so launches himself off the ropes to hit Batista with a shoulder block of his own, but Batista stays firm. Sheamus goes to punch Batista, but it’s blocked, and Batista unwails on Sheamus. Sheamus is forced against the ropes and Batista clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. He gets back in and the referee warns him off. Batista goes to nail Sheamus with the chair but instead eats a Brogue Kick and the chair. Sheamus makes the cover. 1 2 3.

Sheamus bt Batista

After the match, Sheamus panders to the crowd, as Batista slides under the ropes and makes his way back up the ramp. Sheamus tries to get Batista to come back into the ring to acknowledge the crowd, but Batista brushes it off to boos from the crowd.

Backstage, Kassius Ohno is talking up the chances of him and Antonio Cesaro again being the tag team champions, as well as one of them becoming World Champion at Resolution. Cesaro cuts him off saying tonight there is no tag team and it is every man for himself. Cesaro leaves abruptly, leaving Ohno looking disconsolate.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring to defend his Legends Title. Sting’s music hits but he is nowhere to be seen. A rafter shot sees Sting still watching on from above, and Jericho taunts him to get into the ring. Jericho tells the referee to ring the bell and start counting Sting out. The referee obliges and gets to a seven count before the lights go out. When they come back on, Sting is standing in the ring behind Jericho, baseball bat in hand. Jericho turns around to eat the bat and the referee calls for the bell for a disqualification. Jericho stops him and says let’s make it a no DQ match. The referee calls for the match to be restarted. Jericho goes outside the ring and picks up a chair. Sting goes after him and swings the bat which Jericho blocks with the chair. Jericho throws the chair away as Sting swings again, only to hit the steel steps. Jericho uses the barricade to launch himself at Sting and kicks him onto the steps. Sting drops the bat and Jericho uses it to push Sting to the floor. Jericho gets back into the ring and demands the referee make the count. Sting gets back in the ring on six, but Jericho reaches into his trunks and nails Sting with brass knuckles. Jericho makes the cover. 1 2 3.

CM Punk says after tonight, Mick Foley will be forced to retire for good. Foley comes into shot attacking Punk and dragging him from the backstage area towards the ramp. Punk tries to retreat, but Foley is all over Punk and rolls him down the ramp towards the ring, as this match gets underway. Foley throws Punk in the ring, but as he tries to follow, Punk hits a baseball slide to the face, knocking Foley to the floor. Punk climbs the ropes and hits the elbow drop from the top rope to the floor onto Foley. Punk now taunts Foley, asking him just hardcore he is, and pulls a chair out from under the ring. Punk starts to hit Foley across the back with the chair. Foley recoils and takes five shots before falling to the floor. Punk goes under the ring and finds a garbage can and tosses it into the ring. Punk drags Foley into the ring and puts the garbage can over his head. Punk picks up the lid and waffles the bin three times causing Foley to fall again with the can still on him. Punk goes to the outside again and finds a kendo stick and comes back into the ring and slams it into the garbage can. He rolls Foley out of the ring and washes his hands saying he has taken out the trash. Foley makes it back in before the ten count and surprises Punk by throwing the can at him. Punk catches it but Foley hits a dropkick nailing Punk to the floor. Foley slowly staggers back to his feet and grabs the kendo stick and returns the favour to Punk. Foley goes under the ring and pulls out the bag of thumbtacks and sprinkles them over the canvas. Punk has managed to get out of the can and wheels Foley around and hits him with knees to the abdomen. Punk lifts Foley up and hits GTS on Foley onto the tacks and makes the cover. 1 2 3

The first man to be eliminated either by pinfall, submission, count out or disqualification will become the #1 contender for the European. The second man to be eliminated will be the #1 contender for the Tag Team Titles with the partner of his choice. The last man eliminated will be the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Title, and the winner will become the #1 contender for the World Title. Kurt Angle is first out to the ring, followed by Kassius Ohno, Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. Cesaro and Angle start off, with some old school chain wrestling, before they break and go for a test of strength. Cesaro overpowers Angle and ties him up in knots again, before Angle can break and get Cesaro in a full nelson, and drops him face first to the canvas. Angle goes for the cover, but Cesaro kicks out and rolls over to tag in Kassius Ohno. Ohno tries to overpower Angle and knocks him down with a flying forearm. Angle gets back to his feet though and hits Ohno with an elbow to the back of the head. Angle hooks Ohno up for a German Suplex and follows up with two more before covering Ohno. 1 2 Cesaro makes the save. Angle questions Cesaro and tells him to get back in the ring. Cesaro goes back to the apron, and Angle tags in Tyson Kidd. Tyson hits a dropkick on Ohno before bouncing off the ropes to hit another flying kick to the head, knocking Ohno down. Tyson goes to bounce off the ropes again but Cesaro makes a blind tag. Tyson nails Ohno with a high knee to the head and makes a cover, but the referee tells him he is no longer the legal man, and Cesaro sneaks in to make the cover. 1 2 3 Kassius Ohno is eliminated. Ohno looks pissed at Cesaro as he leaves the ring as Cesaro again tells him it’s every man for himself. Tyson gets back in and starts to unload on Cesaro, but his enthusiasm gets the better of him, and Cesaro ducks a high knee and delivers a very European uppercut to Tyson and makes the cover. This time Angle is in to break it up and he argues with Cesaro before leaving the ring. Tyson turns Cesaro around and drags him down to the mat and looks for an ankle lock. Cesaro tries to kick out of it, but Tyson grabs Cesaro’s legs and puts him in the sharpshooter. Cesaro inches towards the ropes as Angle taunts him, but Cesaro eventually gets there and Tyson breaks the hold and tags in Angle. Angle immediately goes for the ankle lock on Cesaro’s weakened leg, and again Cesaro has to find the ropes to break the hold. Cesaro hobbles over to tag in Tyson, but Kidd drops down to the floor to avoid the tag. Cesaro walks into a belly to belly suplex from Angle who makes a cover. 1 2 Cesaro kicks out. Angle can’t believe it, and launches himself off the ropes for a flying shoulder tackle, but Cesaro moves out of the way and throws Angle into the opposite ropes. Antonio Cesaro bt Tyson Kidd, Kurt Angle and Kassius Ohno

Backstage, Ric Flair is talking to Triple H about how is going to be in his corner tonight and help him win the Tag Team Titles. Undertaker comes in and tells Flair he better just stay out of his way. Taker says he doesn’t like Flair, and he sure as Hell doesn’t like Triple H after the 18 month war they had that ended at last year’s Supercard. But he likes what Kane has become even less, and tonight he is going to put his brother back onto the right path. Flair says he knows all about wars ending at Supercard. He reminds Undertaker that he was forced to retire this time last year after losing to Kurt Angle, so he knows how much it means to get the win tonight. He tells Undertaker he will stay out of his way, but he will always have Triple H’s back. Taker leaves, and Triple H says he appreciates everything Flair is trying to do, but it may not be a good idea to piss the dead man off. They make their way to the ring for the Tag Titles Match.

Triple H comes to the ring, accompanied by Ric Flair. He is joined by The Undertaker, who is having his first match since last year’s culmination of a feud with his partner tonight, Triple H. Kane’s pyro goes off and he comes down the ramp to be closely followed by John Cena. All four men stare down in the middle of the ring, with Kane and Undertaker getting right in each other’s faces. It’s going to be Cena and Triple H to start things off. They lock up and Cena goes for an arm bar, but Triple H easily pushes him away. They lock up again and Triple H gets Cena in a headlock but is pushed off into the ropes and hit with a shoulder block. Triple H stands his ground, and Cena works off the ropes for another shoulder block. Triple H again stands firm, so Cena goes for a third time. This time though, Triple H reads the block, and gets a boot up into Cena’s face. Cena stumbles backwards and Kane makes the blind tag. Kane and Triple H trade blows in the middle of the ring, with Kane getting on top, forcing Triple H into the corner. Kane throws Triple H out of the corner onto the canvas and makes a cover, but Triple H easily kicks out. Kane walks over and has a stare down with The Undertaker, before walking into a kick to the gut from Triple H. Hunter makes the tag and The Undertaker gets in the ring to face off with Kane. Taker pushes Kane in the corner and unleashes soup bone elbows and forearms. Kane turns it around and throws Taker in the corner and hits him with a flurry of punches to the gut before being pushed back. Kane makes the tag to Cena, who tries to take The Phenom down with another shoulder tackle, but to no avail. Taker picks up Cena and tosses him to the outside, where he is greeted by Triple H who throws him into the steel steps. Kane goes around to make the save, and helps Cena back into the ring. Cena tries to get Taker off his feet with some kicks to the knees, and Taker falls to one leg. Cena tags Kane back in who knocks Taker down with a clothesline. Kane climbs the ropes as Taker gets back to his feet and nails him again with a giant clothesline. Kane goes for a cover. Taker kicks out on one. Kane scoops Taker up and delivers a sidewalk slam and again covers. 1 2 Taker kicks out. Kane again scoops Taker up and looks for the tombstone piledriver. Triple H gets in the ring to try to make the save, but is met with a big boot from Kane. Cena gets in the ring and picks Triple H up and delivers the Attitude Adjustment just as Kane nails Undertaker with the tombstone piledriver. Flair tries to get in to break the count but it’s too late. Kane makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kane & John Cena bt Triple H & Undertaker to retain the Tag Team Titles

Backstage, we see Antonio Cesaro watching a monitor with great interest as the World Title Match makes a start.

Wade Barrett enters the ring first, followed by Daniel Bryan. They go to lock up, but Bryan decides against it and returns to his corner. This happens a couple more times before Barrett has had enough and monsters Bryan in the corner. Barrett is taking Bryan apart, and throws him out of the ring. Barrett goes outside and chases Bryan around the ring but is met with a drop toe hold into the steel steps. Bryan gets back in the ring as the referee begins the count. Barrett gets back into the ring on six, and tries to overpower Bryan again. Bryan uses his speed to counter every move, and ties Barrett up from behind, putting on a choke hold. Barrett starts to fade, and the referee asks if he submits. Barrett gets a new lease of strength and flips Bryan over his shoulders and makes a pin. 1 2 Bryan kicks out. Bryan latches onto Barrett from the mat and applies the No Lock. Barrett refuses to tap out and tries to make his way to the ropes. Bryan locks it in tight, and Barrett can’t escape. Barrett refuses to tap and passes out from the pain causing the referee to stop the match.

Daniel Bryan bt Wade Barrett to retain the ASW World Title

After the match, Daniel Bryan celebrates over a prone Wade Barrett, as Antonio Cesaro is seen watching on from the monitor backstage.

OK it's been six months since I posted my ASW results here. Two kids under two and a new job will do that. But I want to talk about how we book.

Following on from my SUPERCARD, I went on to have Antonio Cesaro win the World Title; Rollins & Reigns eventually win the tags, and kept Jericho and Ambrose with the Legends and European. I worked the IC onto Cody - still not sure why ha ha.

My question, as I still book every week, and tomorrow have my THUNDER ROAD PPV is this. Do we book to our own drum, or do we book as dictated by WWE TNA ROH etc.? I feel like I should drop the World Title from Cesaro just because he isn't getting over in WWE(I have him booked against Kane) but part of me wants to wait to see if WWE finally recognise his talents and give him MITB.

Same with Roman Reigns - I didn't rate him at all, but I had to move my Tag Titles from The Real Americans (Swagger & Bateman) and Reigns & Rollins were obvious. Did I really? Could I still book Bateman? **Spoiler alert** I'm having Shield drop the titles tomorrow coz I book them as faces and think they are better chasing. I plan to book them to win them back at my UNLEASHED PPV in August, but who knows how Vince will book by then.

So my question for all you bookers is...do you book to your own drum; do you book trying to anticipate what WWE TNA ROH is doing; or do you book reactively as face/heel changes weekly?

I'm really interested to find out.

RESOLUTION 2014

Probably my favourite card of the year but damn hard to book.

The rules are simple - there are three battle royal type matches on the card, with each winner facing off in a triple threat match later on the card to determine the #1 contender for the ASW World Title.

The idea is that with 20 men in each match, it allows for new rivalries to surface which can then play out over the ensuing months. I also keep my five title matches on the card, which means I need 72 wrestlers for the card. This year was a bit of a stretch.

However, the title matches are as follows.

ASW World Title - Daniel Bryan (C) V CM Punk
Intercontinental Title - Bray Wyatt (C) V Kane
Tag Titles - Luke Harper & Erick Rowan (C) V Chris Hero & Matt Hardy
European Title - Christopher Daniels (C) V Jack Swagger
Legends Title - Chris Jericho (C) V Kurt Angle

The Resolution matches are as follows

Group One - Triple H, John Cena, Batista, Jeff Hardy, James Storm, Kofi Kingston, William Regal, Goldust, Bully Ray, Tommy Dreamer, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, X Pac, Adrian Neville, Xavier Woods, Magnus, Conor O'Brian, Rick Vicktor, Mojo Rawley. Christian was to be the 20th man but I wrote him out this week. The 20th is now a surprise.

Group Two - Antonio Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Damian Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Leo Kruger, Big E Langston, Austin Aries, Bo Dallas, Titus O'Neill, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Fandango, Tyler Breeze, CJ Parker, The Miz, Mike Bennett, Trent Barretta

Group Three - Sheamus, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Ryback, Brodus Clay, Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre, RVD, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Alexander Rusev, Mason Ryan, Sami Zayn, Mark Henry, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Eric Carter, Mick Foley, Bobby Fish

I am a little over a week away (Jan 31) and I have no idea who should win each group, let alone who should become the new #1 contender.

So, who do you think should win? Go to the poll and vote!

I think I made a big mistake.

After Resolution, at which the three winners were Ambrose, Cena and Cody, I decided to focus on a more indie/rookie show.

I still have Triple H V Batista, but that bores me now since Batista's WWE return.

I still have Cena V Cody, as the two losers in the triple threat match at the end of Resolution.

I started booking Rusev and Mojo Rawley, and am now stuck with Rusev V Big Show and Mojo V Sheamus at my next PPV, Payback on March 28.

My only other match not for a title is Cesaro V Reigns. Cesaro has already been my ASW World Champion so a win over him would be awesome for Reigns. But does it make him the #1 contender? Or does the winner of this go against the winner of Cena & Cody?

My five title matches are as follows...

ASW World Title - Daniel Bryan (C) V Dean Ambrose
IC Title - Bray Wyatt (C) V Seth Rollins
Tag Team Titles - Luke Harper/Erick Rowan (C) V Sami Zayn/Adrian Neville
European Title - Hiroshi Tanahashi (C) V AJ Styles V Bobby Fish V Jack Swagger V Christopher Daniels V Chris Hero
Legends Title - Kurt Angle (C) V Chris Jericho

I have focused so much on my lower card this time that I'm not sure how the top tier is going to work out.

I have three weeks to work it out. Who wins? Who loses? Suggestions?

It's SUPERCARD time again. The 38th Supercard which is supposed to be my end of year best card. I have my Champion Bray Wyatt V Dean Ambrose, my Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match with Team 3D V Usos V Wolves V ReDRagon V Stardust/Goldust V Harper/Rowan; my Legends Title match between Jeff V Matt V Mystery, and my Intercontinental between Rollins V Even Bigger Mystery.

The one thing I don't have (at least in titles) is an opponent for Rusev for the European Title. Who should it be?
