Pre-Show Stalwart
Welcome to All Star Wrestling!!

Firstly, a bit of background. I've been a wrestling fan since 1976, and have been booking since the mid 90s, with my starting point also being 1976. I have one show a week, usually on Fridays, but sometimes earlier or later due to family commitments. I hold seven PPV equivalent shows per year - my biggest being Supercard in December. There is Resolution in January, where 60 wrestlers have a chance of becoming the #1 contender; Payback in March; Old School in April which is for those that have had at least 15 years in the business; Thunder Road in June; Unleashed in August; and Battle Royal in October, where the winner gets a Title shot at Supercard.

I have a World Title, Tag Titles, Intercontinental Title and European Title. I watch WWE, TNA each and every week and try to get ROH and FCW online as much as I can. I have kept results for every weekly show since 1976 and have compiled every wrestler's history if anyone is interested. Oh yeah, and my first ever World Champion was Ox Baker.

Anyway, as it's coming into June we're building towards Thunder Road. My current champs are World: Sheamus; Tags: Regal/Goldust; IC: Cody Rhodes; European: Austin Aries. We've just been through tournaments for each division to determine #1 contenders for all the singles titles.

I know it's impossible to pick up on storylines etc from the first thread, but I'm happy to give you the back story if interested. I built Triple H V Undertaker for 18 months before last December's Supercard. Oh yeah, I also have a Legends Title for those that have been in the business for 15 years, which is always the main event at Old School. Current champion is Triple H.

Thunder Road is June 29, and my last card was May 25th. Here are the results...

Santino Marella bt Curt Hawkins to advance to the semi finals of the #1 Contender for the European Title. He will face Dean Ambrose next week.

Colt Cabana bt Percy Watson to advance to the other semi final, and will face Justin Gabriel next week.

The Usos bt Motor City Machine Guns

Tyson Kidd bt Goldust to advance to the final of #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title

Robert Roode bt William Regal via DQ to also advance to the final. He will face Kidd next week.

Cody Rhodes successfully defended his IC Title in a triple threat match against Randy Orton and Wade Barrett

Kurt Angle/Bully Ray bt Jeff Hardy/AJ Styles

Daniel Bryan bt Kane to advance to the finals of the #1 contender World Title match

Austin Aries/Christopher Daniels V Sheamus/Triple H was a No Contest

CM Punk bt John Cena to advance to the finals where he will face Daniel Bryan next week.

Tune in next week for the semi finals of the European Title contenders, as well as the finals of both IC and World Title tournaments. Also, Mark Henry has a message for Triple H; Daniels and Aries challenge Regal/Goldust for the Tag Titles, and we will see further fall out from the losses to Cena and Kane.

(One more thing - I book some matches weeks, sometimes months in advance to have consistent story lines and to build feuds)

Hope you enjoyed and tune in next week.

And it was Kurt Angle who became the first man to win all four titles. Angle mentions his European Title and Intercontinental Title wins in 2001, and his three World Title runs. Bully ray says he helped Kane every step of the way over the last two months to become the Legends Champion, and last week, Kane turned his back on him. He said if anyone deserves a shot at the Legends Title at UNLEASHED next week, it's him, and Triple H will just have to wait.

Triple H's music hits and he comes to the ring and gets in Bully Ray's face before smiling and stepping back, and offering a handshake. Ray accepts and Triple H says it's official. At UNLEASHED next week it will be Kane V Bully Ray for the Legends Title. He then asks Cena if he knows what that means for him?

Cena says it means he won't have to be in Triple H's corner, and he hopes this means everything is sweet between them and they can let bygones be bygones. Triple H's expression changes, and he says No, bygones will not be bygones. He tells Cena that he has told him week after week after week to stay out of his business, but he just couldn't let it go. He tells Cena that as much as they both want to get their revenge on Kane, they're gonna have to fight for it.

Cena tries to smooth things over, but Triple H says the time has come. He is calling Cena out. At UNLEASHED it will be Triple H V John Cena

Cena says he didn't want to do this, but if he wants to talk about people who have been aggrieved over the last few weeks let's talk about Big Show, who had his World Title shot taken away last week. And let's talk about Daniel Bryan, who has been screwed over for the last month. Cena tells Triple H that Kane unleashed something within him, and it was the interests of fairness. Cena says he has no love of Show or Bryan, but it's time Triple H stopped acting like the Messiah around here. He says he is sorry he cost him the Legends Title, and he tried to make it right. But if he wants him at UNLEASHED, then it's on.

Cena says the only way he can try to make this right is to correct the injustices of the last week, no matter about his personal feelings about those involved. He proposes a one night only alignment with Big Show, Daniel Bryan and Kane to go up against Triple H, Bully Ray, CM Punk and Brodus Clay.

Bully Ray goes to attack Cena, but Triple H stops him by holding him back, telling him they'll sort it out later tonight, and the match is on.

Justin Gabriel bt Christopher Daniels in a match which featured a number of high flying moves. After the match, Gabriel offered a handshake, and Daniels embraced Gabriel

Derrick Bateman bt David Otunga

Sheamus is in the back, and is approached by Samoa Joe. Joe says he hasn't forgotten that Sheamus still owes him a rematch. Sheamus says he beat Joe fair and sqaure. Joe says that's for another night, but tonight they should team up and take out their opponents at UNLEASHED, and then sort it out once and for all. Sheamus says, fella, you may have something there

Dolph Ziggler is interviewed in the back about his World Title match next week at UNLEASHED. Dolph says he hears that Sheamus and Joe want to take him out tonight, but he has a partner who has had a week from Hell, and is more than ready to even the score tonight. The camera pans back to show Alberto Del Rio looking more intense than ever.

Chavo Guerrero/Harry Smith bt Jey Uso/Jimmy Uso After the match as Guerrero and Smith celebrated, they were attacked in the ring by Barreta and Steamboat

Tyson Kidd is interviewed backstage and asked about his alliance with Angle and Hardy. Kidd says Angle saved him from a beatdown last week, and although he doesn't like it, he never welshed on returning a favour. Tonight he'll team up with the Tag Team Champs against Cesaro/Ohno and Seth Rollins; but he still doesn't trust Angle.

Austin Aries comes to the ring, and says although he declared himself the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title at UNLEASHED, there are other, less successful, former European Champions who have been lobbying for his spot. He calls out Goldust, and says he is jealous of William Regal's success. He then calls out James Storm, and says he was European Champion for a heartbeat, and he has no business here. He challenges them both right here right now to a triple threat match, with the winner to face William Regal for the Intercontinental Title at UNLEASHED.

Austin Aries bt Goldust and James Storm to become the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title. After the match, Regal came out to assist Goldust to the back, and again eyed off Aries. Aries returned to the ring to continue a beating on Storm before leaving with his hands high

Heath Slater came to the ring, and stated he may have lost to a stuffed shirt last week, but he is still the coolest wrestler in all of ASW. He made a challenge to anyone in the back who thought they were as cool as him.

Kofi Kingston answered the challenge with a look of disdain towards Slater.

Heath Slater bt Kofi Kingston

CM Punk is interviewed in the back and asked for his thoughts on the 8 man tag match made for tonight. Punk says he doesn't care about Cena's beef with Triple H; he doesn't care about Big Show and Brodus Clay; and he sure doesn't care about the Legends Title, a title for old relics who have relevance deprivation disorder.

He does, however, care about Daniel Bryan, and how he stopped him from becoming the #1 Contender for the World Title last week. He says regardless of what happens tonight, he will be facing Daniel Bryan at UNLEASHED, not for titles, but for mindless revenge!

Kurt Angle/Jeff Hardy/Tyson Kidd bt Antonio Cesaro/Kassius Ohno/Seth Rollins via DQ Angle had Seth in the ankle lock when Tyson came in with a chair and smashed Angle with it to break the hold. Seth got up and Tyson gave him the chair, and Seth then hit Angle with the chair causing the DQ. Tyson, Seth, Cesario and Kassius then proceeded to beat up on Angle and Hardy. Tyson and Seth embraced in the middle of the ring, as we were reminded they would battle for the European Title next week at UNLEASHED

Tyson Kidd was interviewed backstage, and said Kurt Angle should never ever again take him for granted. Whether he beats Seth Rollins or not next week, he still has Angle in his sights

Damian Sandow comes to the ring, and reiterates he has beaten the ignorant, the arrogant, the redneck and the stupid. He says he hasn't yet beaten the straight up crazy though, and this is another cohort he plans to eliminate from ASW.

R Truth comes out and asks who Sandow is calling crazy. Truth talks to Little Jimmy and says Sandow is calling Little Jimmy crazy and that he is gonna get mad at Sandow.

Damian Sandow bt R Truth After the match, Sandow again demands a match at UNLEASHED

Dolph Ziggler/Alberto Del Rio V Sheamus/Samoa Joe is up next

Ziggler enters first, followed by Alberto who walks down, and says his car has been vandalised, and he has been brutalised for the last week; but tonight he will get his revenge.

Samoa Joe comes to the ring and he and Alberto don't wait for the bell and go at it, spilling outside of the ring, as Sheamus makes his way to the ring.

Joe and ADR continue to battle backstage as Dolph and Sheamus start things off. Sheamus ties Dolph up and slams him with chest strikes while Dolph is tied up in the ropes.

Joe and Alberto are shown brawling in the backstage area and out into the parking lot.

In the ring, Dolph has recovered enough to take it to Sheamus, getting the upper hand, and hitting the zig zag, which Sheamus kicks out of at 2.

In the parking lot, Joe throws Alberto into the Aston Martin and drives straight towards a wall. Joe jumps out just before the car crashes into the wall, and we see Alberto draped across the back seat, as Joe makes his way back inside the arena.

In the ring, Sheamus hits White Noise on Ziggler and is setting up for the Brogue Kick, as Joe makes hiw way back to the apron. Joe makes a hard slap on Sheamus to make a tag. Sheamus returns the favour and slaps Joe to make the tag. Joe rushes the ring and slams Sheamus into the corner before picking him up for the muscle buster. Joe leaves Shamus in the ring and walks off.

As Sheamus slowly recovers he gets to his feet, but walks straight into the Zig Zag. Dolph makes the cover 1 2 3.

Dolph Ziggler/Alberto Del Rio bt Sheamus/Samoa Joe

8 Man Tag Match Main Event is up next !!

The match begins and CM Punk and Daniel Bryan immediately battle outside the ring and through the crowd.

Big Show and Brodus start in the ring, and Show goes straight for the WMD, but Brodus ducks, and bounces off the ropes for the Funk It splash. He goes for a cover, but Kane gets in to break it up. Kane and Brodus go back and forth, before Brodus makes a tag to Bully Ray.

Bully Ray screams WHY!? at Kane in reference to last week, before clotheslining him over the top rope and battling him outside at the announcers table. Show gets back in the ring and invites Triple H to join him.

Triple H gets in the ring and eventually knocks down Big Show, and sets him up for the pedigree before Brodus makes a blind tag. Clay comes in and again hits the Funk It splash on Show and goes for the cover. 1 2 Cena gets involved to break the count. He backs off from Brodus, but Clay goes after him, causing Cena to react; nailing Clay until he gets him down and going for the five knuckle shuffle. Show recovers and tells Cena he is the legal man and to get out of the ring.

Cena leaves the ring, but makes a blind tag anyway. He gets Brodus up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Brodus spins around close enough to make a tag to Triple H

Cena hits the AA, and doesn't realise the tag has been made. He walks straight into a kick to the gut from Triple H, who follows up with a pedigree. Triple H makes the cover. Show comes in, but walks away at the last moment. 1 2 3

Triple H/Brodus Clay/Bully Ray/CM Punk bt John Cena/Kane/Big Show/Daniel Bryan

After the match, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are shown still fighting in the backstage area; while Bully Ray and Kane are battling around the ring.

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - William Regal (29/6/12)
Tag Team Titles - Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy (27/7/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

We start with a recap of last week, with Samoa Joe driving Alberto Del Rio's car into a wall with ADR still in it! We see Triple H call out John Cena; CM Punk looking for mindless revenge on Daniel Bryan; Austin Aries becoming the #1 contender for William Regal's Intercontinental Title; Bully Ray get a shot at the Legends Title tonight; and Dolph Ziggler beating Sheamus in a tag match as a precursor to tonight's World Title Main Event

The show starts with Damian Sandow making his way to the ring. He says he has now beaten the illiterate, the ignorant, the arrogant, the redneck, the stupid, the crazy. Before he can continue, Break The Walls Down hits, and we see Chris Jericho make his long awaited return to ASW.

Jericho gets in the ring and says to Sandow Would you please SHUT the HELL UP!! to a monster pop from the crowd. Jericho says he has been away for far too long when someone as pompous, self-righteous, egotistical and arrogant as Damian Sandow can take centre stage. Sandow tells Jericho he does not choose to debate him as it would be an intellectual and philosophical trashing. Jericho says that is fine with him, as he is ready to give Sandow the physical trashing of a lifetime, as he is the best in the world at what he does.

Chris Jericho bt Damian Sandow with the Walls of Jericho. Sandow tries valiantly to make his way to the ropes but Jericho kept pulling him back in until Sandow was forced to tap.

Alberto Del Rio is shown arriving to the arena, with his ribs taped up, as we are shown the clip from last week of Samoa Joe driving Del Rio’s car into a wall with Del Rio in the back seat.

Brodus Clay came to the ring and reminded Big Show he has gotten the better of him for three weeks now, and tonight will be no different.

Big Show went for the WMD early, but Clay ducked it. Clay went to lift Show, but buckled under his weight. Clay managed to kick out. Clay eventually took Show down with the Funk It Splash for the win.
Brodus Clay bt Big Show

Bully Ray is interviewed backstage. He says he still has unanswered questions for Kane. Like why after weeks of helping him become the Legends Champion did Kane turn his back on him? Well tonight he's going to take the Legends Title and then Kane may find he has some questions of his own.

Tyson Kidd bt Seth Rollins to retain the European Title. A fast paced match with plenty of spots. Tyson eventually won with the sharpshooter. After the match Kurt Angle came to the ring to congratulate Tyson.

Angle is joined in the ring by Jeff Hardy as they get ready to defend their Tag Team Titles.

Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno make their way to the ring for this Tag Titles match. We are reminded that they were the former champs when they were known as Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli, and they have undertaken a major reinvention over the last few months.

Cesaro and Ohno get the better of this match; Cesaro putting Hardy in several submission moves only to be saved by Angle time and time again. Ohno unleashes a flurry of offence on Hardy, but Angle again comes in to make the save. Hardy eventually makes the tag to Angle, and limps out of the ring clutching his shoulder. Angle clotheslines Ohno over the top rope, and dares Cesaro to come into the ring. Ohno makes his way back in and makes the tag. Cesaro and Angle go back and forth, and Cesaro goes for a schoolboy roll up, but Angle reverses it into the Ankle Lock. Cesaro is forced to tap.

Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy bt Antonio Cesario & Kassius Ohno to retain the Tag Team Titles. A split is teased between Ohno and Cesaro, while Angle has to assist Hardy to the back.

William Regal is interviewed in the back about his match tonight with Austin Aries for the Intercontinental Title. Regal says he has wrestling since Aries was in diapers and he has no intention of losing to a brash whippersnapper like him thank you very much

Alberto Del Rio drives into the arena in the same smashed up Aston Martin that Samoa Joe had wrecked over the last two weeks. As Joe made his way down the ramp, he was ambushed by Del Rio, and dragged towards the car. Del Rio kept screaming about what Joe had done to him and bashed his head upon the hood of the car, before lifting it up to slam onto Joe's arm.

Del Rio dragged a semi conscious Joe to the ring and told the referee to ring the bell. Del Rio immediately went for his submission move and told Joe he was going to break his arm. Joe seemed to pass out from the pain, but never actually tapped out. The referee stopped the match as Joe could not continue.

Alberto Del Rio bt Samoa Joe

After the match, Del Rio dragged Joe back to the car, and threw him in the back seat. Del Rio told Joe that it is payback time, and drove out of the arena.

CM Punk is interviewed in the back about his upcoming match with Daniel Bryan. Punk says tonight is not about World Titles, or #1 contender matches. It is about who is simply the best. Punk says he is the best in the world, and Daniel Bryan will find that out later tonight.

John Cena is shown entering the building and is confronted by Triple H. They have a stare down before moving on, as we are reminded that Triple H called Cena out last week, as he still feels Cena is responsible for him losing the Legends Title to Kane. The Legends Title match is up next.

Bully Ray makes his way to the ring first and waits for Kane. As he stares at the entrance ramp, Kane's music hits, but he makes his way in from under the ring and turns Bully around to grab him ready for a chokeslam. Ray elbows his way out of this as the match starts.

Ray dominates most of the match but can't keep Kane down for long enough to make a pin. The match ends when Kane picks up Bully for a thunderous chokeslam which breaks the canvas. Kane then drags Bully up through the hole in the floor and delivers a devastating tombstone piledriver on Bully through the hole. Kane has delivered Bully Ray straight to hell!! Kane sets his pyro off in the ring and this one is officially over as Bully Ray cannot continue.

Kane bt Bully Ray to retain the Legends Title

Dolph Ziggler is interviewed backstage about his opportunity for the World Title tonight. Dolph says it is finally his time. He says he watched as he was looked over for months at every single Pay Per View; but last week he proved he is more than worthy, and after tonight he will become the next World Champion and join the likes of other worthy World Champion like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Eddie Guerrero and Triple H. He says Sheamus is an embarrassment to names like Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan, and tonight he will restore the World Title to its former glory.

Austin Aries enteres the ring and awaits William Regal for the Intercontinental Title match which is up next.

In a close back and forth match, in which both competitors go for a variety of submission moves, Aries gets Regal in his own Regal stretch manouver. Regal uses his size advantage to sweep Aries' leg from under him and grabs a handful of tights to roll him up for the win.

William Regal bt Austin Aries to retain the Intercontinental Title. Aries smiles in the ring and mouths You Got Me to Regal.

Backstage, as Regal returns, he is asked about the illegal use of holding Aries' tights. Regal says he has no idea what the interviewer is talking about and he refuses to be besmirched in this manner. In fact, Austin Aries can have another title match any time he likes.

CM Punk V Daniel Bryan is next

It seems as it is a night for submissions, with four of seven matches decided by submission already, and Regal and Aries putting on a clinic earlier. Punk and Bryan continue the lesson for the fans as they go hold for hold as they try to make each other tap. Bryan reaches the ropes to break Punk's Anaconda Vice grip, and Punk does the same to make Bryan release the No Lock.

The action went outside the ring and spilled over the announcers table. Punk went to pick up a chair, but the referee grabbed it and told Punk he would be disqualified if he used it. Punk dropped it to the floor, but Bryan hit Punk with a bulldog onto the chair. Bryan went for the cover, but the referee said this isn't a Falls Count Anywhere match, and Bryan would have to get in the ring. Bryan Picked up Punk and hit a DDT onto the chair again, knocking Punk out cold. Bryan returned to the ring while the referee counted Punk out.

Daniel Bryan bt CM Punk

Sheamus was interviewed in the back about Dolph Ziggler's comments earlier. Sheamus says Dolph can talk all he likes about Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes. The fact is that Sheamus has been the World Champion since January and nothing Dolph Ziggler can do tonight will change that. Sheamus says he prefers to think he is building on the legacy of people like Andre The Giant, Ox Baker, Chirs Benoit and yes, even Kurt Angle. He says Dolph has a long way to go before he can even be mentioned in the same breath as those fellas.

John Cena V Triple H

We get a recap of Cena interfering in Triple H's business over the last few weeks, ultimately costing Triple H the Legends Title in a match with Kane. We see last week's promo about how Cena only wanted to get to Kane, and how he has unleashed something buried deep within him.

Cena makes his way to the ring first, looking all business and not pandering to the crowd as usual. He asks for a mic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kane has unleashed something within me that I didn't think was there. Triple H was merely collateral damage. But last week Triple H called me out. Says he wants his revenge on me for costing him the Legends Title. Didn't want to go after Kane - wanted to go after me. That's fine. I on the other hand still have some unfinished business with Kane. But that can wait for another day. Triple H - I didn't want it to come to this, but this is on your head.

Triple H makes his way to the ring carrying his trademark sledgehammer.

In a brutal match that went in and around the ring, and in which both men got busted open, Triple H hits a pedigree and thinks he has it won. The referee tells him it was only a 2 count, and Trips gets in the referee's face, but is threatened with disqualification. Triple H screams at him you wanna see a disqualification?? before going outside to get the sledgehammer as Cena slowly stumbles back to his feet.

Triple H lines him up with the sledgehammer as the referee yells at him not to do it, when Kane's music hits and the Big Red Machine makes his way down to the ring.

Triple H has the sledgehammer still ready to go, but Kane wraps his hand around Cena's throat and lifts him up for the chokeslam and Triple H smiles approvingly.

Kane releases Cena back to the mat and clasps his hand around Triple H's throat, forcing him to drop the sledgehammer. Kane lifts him up and delivers his second vicious clothesline of the night. He turns to Cena, and motions for him to cover Triple H, but Cena mouths not this way, before smiling at Kane, and mouthing you know the way to end this

Kane lifts Triple H up and nails him with a tombstone piledriver. Kane leaves the ring as Cena makes the cover 1 2 3

John Cena bt Triple H After the match Kane looks back on the ring and it seems an unholy alliance between Kane and John Cena has begun!!

We are shown footage of Samoa Joe lying unconscious in the back seat of Alberto Del Rio's car. The camera pans back to Del Rio placing a brick on the accelerator while the car is in neutral. The camera pans back further to reveal the car is on a bridge over a river. Del Rio shifts the car into drive and stands back as the car crashes through the bridge and down into the river with Samoa Joe still inside!!

Sheamus V Dolph Ziggler

Dolph gets in Sheamus's face and does Ric Flair's trademark WOOO!! before imitating his strut around the ring. Sheamus responds by slapping the taste out of his mouth as the match begins.

Sheamus quickly ties Dolph up in the ropes and proceeds to bring his forearm down across Dolph's chest. Instead of his usual counting to ten though, Sheamus yells the names of Andre, Hogan, Savage, Ox Baker etc, telling Dolph to never ever disrespect the World Champion again. Dolph staggers back into the middle of the ring, but manages to duck the brogue kick which leaves Sheamus tangles in the ropes in the corner.

Dolph whips him out of the corner and hits the ZigZag before going for a cover, but Sheamus kicks out at 2. Dolph drags Sheamus to the corner and goes to the top rope, taking Sheamus with him. Dolph hits a superplex but Sheamus again kicks out at 2. Dolph bangs his fists on the mat as Sheamus slowly makes his way to his feet.

Both competitors trade blows and go back and forth for several near pins, before Ziggler again whips Sheamus into the corner. Ziggler runs and looks to hit Sheamus with a high knee, but Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick out of nowhere and Ziggler is nailed in the centre of the ring. Sheamus makes the cover. 1 2 3

Sheamus bt Dolph Ziggler to retain the World Title. Sheamus celebrates on top of each turnbuckle as Unleashed goes off the air.

Wow, I'm getting tired of apologising for the lateness of these posts - the new job is closer than ever, so hopefully no more delays! Let's get em

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling - results from September 7, 2012

Tag Team Titles - Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy (27/7/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

The show starts with a recap of Unleashed last week, where all titles were successfully defended. We saw the return of Chris Jericho; Alberto Del Rio send Samoa Joe crashing into the river; and an unholy alliance formed between Kane and John Cena.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring to kick things off, with a mic in hand. Jericho says he came back as the Saviour of All Star Wrestling. He mentions that people like Damian Sandow, who think they're better than everyone else, soon learn what it takes to be the best in the world. Jericho lists his ASW accomplishments, and says he has beaten everyone there is to beat, so now he has saved ASW from the likes of Sandow, his job is now done.

Joey Ryan makes his way to the ring to make his ASW debut! Ryan says Jericho may have beaten everyone he has faced, but he has not faced the likes of Joey Ryan!

Chris Jericho bt Joey Ryan Ryan matched Jericho for enthusiasm, but Jeicho's experience won out in the end, catching Ryan with a clothesline, followed by a lionsault for the 3 count.

John Cena is shown arriving at the arena. As he gets out of his car, he is met by Kane, and they are making their way to the ring next!

John Cena and Kane hit the ring, and Cena says it's not what they're all thinking. He talks about the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and that is what he was talking about all these weeks when he said Kane had gotten inside his head. Cena says he tried his best to assist Triple H, but he got it thrown back in his face time and again. He turns to Kane and says they will never be friends, but he never forgets a favour, and he owes Kane one.

This brings Kurt Angle to the top of the entrance ramp with a mic, accompanied by Jeff Hardy. He tells Cena he doesn't believe Cena's phoniness, and that Cena sold out just so he could beat Triple H. He says for weeks Cena has wanted to get his hands on Kane and now they're just going to forget all of that? Angle says he doesn't buy it, and he wants to see Cena and Kane go at it. Angle says, so here's what we're gonna do. Tonight Angle & Hardy will put their Tag Team Titles on the line against Cena and Kane.

If Cena and Kane can't get along well enough to win the titles, they will have to face each other next week in the match everyone wants to see.

Triple H comes out, and says tonight he will be the special referee, and he also be the special referee next week when Cena and Kane go one on one. Triple H says the loser of that match next week will be fired.

Derrick Bateman bt Percy Watson

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is interviewed and says after he beat CM Punk last night, he deserves to be the #1 contender for the World Title. He is interrupted by Alberto Del Rio who asks Bryan if he saw what happened to Samoa Joe last week? Del Rio says he is ruthless, and he too wants a shot at the World Title, and challenges Bryan to a match tonight. Bryan accepts, but only if it is a submission match. Del Rio agrees

Trent Barreta & Ricky Steamboat bt Chavo Guerrero & Harry Smith After the match, Chavo suggests he and Harry go their separate ways. Harry agreed and goes to shake Chavo's hand, but ends up kicking him in the mid section and power bombing him in the middle of the ring.

Damian Sandow comes to the ring, and says last night was just an abberation, and he will continue to cleanse All Star Wrestling of ignoramuses and those who are lacking in refined culture. This brings Heath Slater to the ring, who says there is no greater culture than that of the Southern Man, and he will prove that to Sandow right now.

Damian Sandow bt Heath Slater After the match, Sandow calls out William Regal and demands a shot at the Intercontinental Title next week.

CM Punk is interviewed in the back, and says Daniel Bryan got lucky last night. He will show he is still the best in the world tonight, and calls an open challenge. Brodus Clay comes into picture, and says he accepts, and he will prove tonight there is more to Brodus Clay than just dancing and a cool haircut. He may the Funkasaurus, but tonight CM Punk is gonna get funked!

CM Punk laughs it off and starts to walk away when he is met by Chris Jericho, who says Best in the world huh? before leaving the arena

Justin Gabriel & Christopher Daniels bt Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso in a high flying match won when Daniels hits the BME on Jey. As they celebrate, Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesario blindside them in the ring and take both of them out.

Ohno and Cesaro remain in the ring and are joined by Austin Aries for the upcoming six man tag match.

Their opponents are revealed as Seth Rollins, European Champion Tyson Kidd, and Intercontinental Champion, William Regal

In the best technical match of the night, Tyson & Seth prove an effective team against the Kings of Wrestling, while Regal and Aries mostly taunt each other outside the ring. They eventually end up brawling up the ramp, when Sandow comes back out to take both men out. Back in the ring, Tyson puts Cesaro in the sharp shooter while Seth keeps Ohno out of the ring long enough for Cesaro to tap.

William Regal, Tyson Kidd & Seth Rolling bt Austin Aries, Kassius Ohno & Antonio Cesaro After the match, Gabriel and Daniels return to the ring and get payback on Cesaro and Ohno, and challenge them to a match next week.

Triple H is shown in the back in his referee's attire.

Brodus Clay bt CM Punk when Punk tried to lift Brodus up for the GTS but collapsed under his weight and Brodus fell on top of Punk for the 3 count. Brodus started to celebrate but Punk took him out with a high knee, and then got a steel chair from the outside and came back in to nail Brodus again. Punk put a semi conscious Clay in the Anaconda Vice before several referees came out to break the hold.

Sheamus is interviewed in the back and says there is no one left to beat. He says he is just too good, and issues an open challenge tonight. Sheamus says it doesn't matter who it is, because he is going to just keep winning right through Battle Royal on October 26, and then defend it against the Battle Royal winner at Supercard at the end of the year to complete the whole year as ASW World Champion

Triple H's music hits and he comes to the ring as the special referee for the next match.

John Cena comes out the ring next. Kane's mucis hits, but the Big Red Machine is nowhere to be see.

Tag Team Champions, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy come to the ring. Angle and Triple H have a stare down, before Angle walks over to Cena and screams at him I knew you and Kane couldn't get along!! Triple H calls for the bell.

Cena and Angle start off and are evenly matched early, before Angle manages to trap Cena in the corner and makes the tag to Hardy. Angle holds Cena from outside the ring as Hardy splashes him in the corner, as Triple H turns a blind eye. Hardy goes for a cover, but Cena kicks out.

Cena takes a lot of punishment from both Angle and Hardy, with Triple H giving the champs a long leash to bend the rules. Eventually, Angle traps Cena with the ankle lock, as Hardy looks on. Triple H is asking Cena the question, when flames start to leap out of the turnbuckles. This distracts Hardy as Kane's music hits again and he rushes the ring, taking out Hardy with a giant chokeslam. Cena is all set to tap when Kane breaks the move, knocking down Triple H in the process. Cena crawls to his corner, as Kane sets Angle up for the tombstone piledriver. Kane hits it and goes for the cover, but Triple H is knocked out and there is no count. A second referee comes to the ring as Kane again makes the cover, but Angle kicks out on 2. Kane picks up Angle again by the throat and Cena makes a blind tag. Kane throws Angle at Cena who catches him for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kane & John Cena bt Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy to become the NEW Tag Team Champions. Kane grabs his belt and leaves Cena in the ring by himself.

William Regal is interviewed, and asked about Damian Sandow's actions earlier. Regal says he accepts Sandow's challenge, but he also feels he owes Austin Aries another shot. Regal says he is a fighting champion, so next week he challenges both Sandow and Aries in a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Title

Daniel Bryan bt Alberto Del Rio in a submission match, when ADR was distracted by Samoa Joe's music being played, allowing Bryan to surprise him, and getting the No Lock locked in. Del Rio tapped to give Bryan the victory. Bryan laughed at Del Rio after the match, and said he set it up with the producers to play Joe's music. Del Rio was incensed and went after Bryan, who escaped from the ring. Daniel Bryan is now the official #1 Contender for the World Title.

Triple H talks backstage abbout how he still has some stroke around here, so he is making three announcements right now. #1 is next week, Kane will defend his Legends Title against Jeff Hardy. #2 is that Hardy and Kurt Angle will get their rematch in two weeks time for the Tag Team Titles; and #3 is that Triple H is officially the first entrant in the Battle Royal match on October 26, with the winner getting a World Title shot at Supercard in December.

Sheamus comes to the ring, and awaits someone to answer his open challenge for a shot at the World Title.

Wade Barrett's music hits and Wade returns to All Star Wrestling for the first time since Thunder Road in June. Sheamus looks a little worried at first, but soon composes himself as the bell rings and this is going to be a slugfest.

Barrett and Sheamus both go for sheer power, knocking each other down with clotheslines and shoulder tackles, with no one getting the upper hand early.

Sheamus eventually gets Barrett in the ropes and slugs him over the top rope with a forearm to the chest ten times as the referee gets him to break it up so Barrett can get out of the ropes.

Barrett recovers to give Sheamus an Irish whip into the corner and follows up with a high kneww. He throws Sheamus into the opposite corner and again delivers the high knee and Sheamus falls to the mat. Barrett covers, but Sheamus kicks out.

More back and forth power action until Sheamus goes for the Texas Cloverleaf submission hold, but barrett slinks out underneath Sheamus and tries to roll him up with a handful of tights. Sheamus kicks out and gets pissed and hits the Brogue Kick out of nowhere and follows with the 1 2 3 pin.

Sheamus bt Wade Barrett to retain the World Title. Sheamus celebrates on the turnbuckle after the win, but Barrett recovers to lift Sheamus into position to hit Waste Land. Barrett then enters himself into the Battle Royal and tells Sheamus he will see him at Supercard as ASW goes off the air.

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling - results from September 14, 2012

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - William Regal (29/6/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/2012)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

We start with a recap of last week’s show, including Daniel Bryan becoming the #1 contender for the World Title; the return of Wade Barrett; CM Punk taking out Brodus Clay after their match; and the shocking alliance of Kane and John Cena continuing, with them becoming the new Tag Team Champions.

John Cena makes his way to the ring, and says it wasn’t meant to be this way. He says how it has been months now since Kane got under his skin, forcing him to do things differently; to start losing focus. Cena recaps how he cost Triple H the Legends Title; yet relied on Kane to win at Unleashed. Then just last week, they were thrown together in a Tag Titles match, and it looked like Kane wasn’t even going to show. They even had Triple H as the special guest referee, but somehow that wasn’t enough to stop Kane either. And now they are the Tag Team Champions. Cena says he is a fighting champion, and he will fight to win in their rematch with Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy next week; not because he cares about Kane, but because he cares about being a champion. And one thing a champion does not do is interfere in another championship match. So people may think he and Kane are best buddies now, but nothing could be further than the truth. Tonight, Kane defends the Legends Title against Jeff Hardy. John Cena is a man of his word, and Jeff Hardy has his word that he will not interfere tonight. In fact, if it’s okay with Triple H, Cena is going to give himself the night off. He wishes Hardy good luck.

Joey Ryan says last week was a good initiation to ASW. Being able to fight Chris Jericho taught him a lot in a short time, and he challenges anyone to deny him his first win in ASW.

Joey Ryan bt David Otunga

Backstage, Tyson Kidd is interviewed about his European Title defence tonight against none other than Kurt Angle. Tyson says a deal is a deal, and even if he loses the European Title tonight, no one can take his honour.

Derrick Bateman bt Jack Swagger

Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy are shown talking in the back about regaining their Tag Team Titles next week. Hardy says that is next week’s problem, and tonight they both have an opportunity to win singles gold. Angle says he will make sure Cena keeps his word and has the night off. Hardy thanks Angle, and wishes him good luck against Tyson Kidd later tonight.

Seth Rollins bt Drew McIntyre. After the match, Jack Swagger hits the ring, and he and McIntyre double team Rollins. Swagger and McIntyre seemed to have formed a new alliance.

Triple H enters the ring with a mic. He starts by saying he’s glad that he is starting to be recognised as the voice of authority around here, with even John Cena deferring to his judgment. He says he has agreed to give John Cena the night off, but only because he himself needs to make up for his own deficiencies from last week. Triple H shows the footage of him being knocked out in the tag team match last week, while acting as special referee. Triple H says there will be redemption tonight for Jeff Hardy, but there will also be redemption for Triple H, as he will again be the special referee. Triple H says he hasn’t forgotten it was Kane who took HIS Legends Title, and it was with the interference of John Cena. Triple H says he has a very long memory, and by the end of the night, John Cena may just be glad he isn’t in the same ring.

Chavo Guerrero comes to the ring to face Trent Barreta. A great match with some old
school technical wrestling from both participants, and some high flying from Barreta, and near counts on both sides. The match ended when Harry Smith came to the ring and kicked Chavo in the gut causing the DQ. Harry then hit a jack-knife power bomb on Chavo before leaving the ring.

Chavo Guerrero bt Trent Barreta via DQ

William Regal is interviewed backstage, and asked why he agreed to defend his Intercontinental Title in a triple threat match tonight against Austin Aries and Damian Sandow. Regal says he has been wrestling and winning titles since Sandow and Aries were in nappies; and what better way to eliminate two potential challengers than divide and conquer in one match. Regal says Aries had his chance at Unleashed, and he should be very grateful that he is anywhere near another title shot so soon. He says the only time Sandow was in the ring with a veteran of his stature he was left looking like a bloody fool at the hands of Chris Jericho at Unleashed. Regal smirks and says that tonight he thinks the Intercontinental Title is in safe hands.

Justin Gabriel and Christopher Daniels bt Kassius Ohno and Anotnio Cesaro when Daniels hits the BME on Cesaro, and makes the tag to Gabriel who hits the 450 splash for the win. After the match, Ohno gets in the ring and starts getting in Cesaro’s face. Cesaro tries to apologise, but Ohno tells him he better get his act together soon or they won’t be known as the Kings of Wrestling; they will be kings of nothing…

Wade Barrett comes to the ring, and says he guesses he overestimated himself in thinking he could come back to ASW and become World Champion in one night. However, he hasn’t given up being the World Champion before Battle Royal, and if he has to go through Daniel Bryan to become the #1 contender then so be it. Of course, he has the Battle Royal on October 26 as his insurance policy. So at the very worst case scenario, Barrett says he will win the Battle Royal match and get his World Title shot at Supercard.

Bully Ray walks to the ring and says, yes, Barrett was a goddamn idiot to think he could win the title on his first night back. Bully Ray says he has been back in ASW for months, and is still waiting for his shot. Barrett cuts him off, and says that is because Bully Ray is nowhere near being in the same league as Wade Barrett. Bully Ray looks pissed, and tells Barrett they can find out about that later tonight. The match is booked.

Tyson Kidd enters the ring and his European Title defence against Kurt Angle is up next."

Kidd and Angle trade traditional holds for the first few minutes, before Angle gets frustrated and unleashes a flurry of elbows and forearms, forcing Kidd in the corner. The ref breaks it up, and Kidd kicks Angle in the knee, causing him to drop to one knee on the canvas. Tyson follows up with a clothesline to take Angle down and go for a cover. Angle kicks out on the one count, and pushes Tyson in the chest, but Tyson pushes back and they have a stare down. More back and forth action before Tyson gets the upper hand and again has Angle down in the middle of the ring. Tyson climbs the ropes but Angle moves at the last second and rolls Tyson into the ankle lock. Tyson looks all set to tap, but gets a second strength and inches over to the ropes just in time. Angle is forced to break the hold. Tyson slowly gets to his feet and walks straight into three German suplexes by Angle. Angle makes the cover, and Tyson kicks out on two. Angle shakes his head in disbelief, and pulls the straps down before going to the second rope. He goes for the high elbow to Tyson’s head, but Kidd ducks it, and rolls Angle up from behind. Angle kicks out on two and pummels Tyson into the corner again. The ref tries to break it up, but Angle goes straight back onto Tyson, dragging him out of the corner, and working on Tyson’s ankle again. With Kidd on the canvas, Angle again puts him in the ankle lock, looking for a submission victory. Just as he looked set to tap, Tyson rolled through and grabbed Angle’s leg, and as Angle tried to fight off, ended up being caught in the sharpshooter. Angle crawled towards the ropes, but Tyson dragged him back to the centre of the ring. Angle eventually tapped out.

Tyson Kidd bt Kurt Angle to retain the European Title

As Tyson goes to leave the ring, Angle calls him back, and gets the crowd to cheer for Tyson as they embrace, before Tyson leaves the ring.

Tyson Kidd is shown backstage, but before he can be interviewed, Angle catches up with him and tells him that was no fluke and he was truly the better man on the night. Angle says he could use someone like Tyson in his corner. Angle says it could be a good alliance for both of them. Tyson says he appreciates the offer, and his graciousness tonight, and he will give it some thought.

Austin Aries makes his way to the ring for the Intercontinental Title triple threat match; followed by Damian Sandow; and then by the Intercontinental Champion, William Regal.
Regal and Aries start off, and exhibit a number of holds which gets Sandow yawning on the outside of the ring. He makes the blind tag on Regal and comes in attacking Aries, pummelling him with elbows and high knees to the mid-section. Aries is trapped in the corner and Sandow continues with the punishment until Aries slumps down and escapes through Sandow’s legs. Sandow turns around and faces a barrage of offence from Aries, causing him to scurry to make the tag to Regal. Aries laughs at Sandow in retreat and Regal looks on with disdain. Regal and Aries work together to drag Sandow back in the ring and both unleash on him before tossing him over the top rope onto the floor, before resuming hostilities. Aries’ quickness and agility stops Regal from getting the upper hand, but Aries can’t get Regal off his feet. After more offence has Regal staggering in the middle of the ring, Aries climbs the ropes, but is knocked off by Sandow to the canvas. The referee indicates that counts as a tag and Sandow comes into the ring to hit the straight jacket neckbreaker on a still staggering Regal, and makes the cover. Aries tries to recover to make the save but the referee makes the three count.

Damian Sandow bt William Regal and Austin Aries to win the Intercontinental Title.

After the match, both Aries and Regal attempt to get revenge on Sandow, but he slithers under the bottom rope, clutching his new Intercontinental Title. Both Aries and Regal look on in disbelief at what just happened.

Backstage, we see Kurt Angle still hanging around, telling everyone he sees about the new alliance he is going to form with Jeff Hardy and Tyson Kidd, and how they are going to take over ASW. Angle then bumps into someone from behind and turns around to tell the story again when the camera pans back to show it was John Cena he had bumped into. Angle says he thought Cena had given himself the night off. Cena says he has, but that doesn’t mean he can’t relax in the back and hang out with his buddies. Angle asks him if he means Kane, and Cena says he means his real buddies. Angle tells Cena he better stay out of the Legends Title match tonight; and Cena said he already said publicly he would and he is a man of his word. Cena asks Angle if the same can be said for him?

Wade Barrett bt Bully Ray with the Souvenir Elbow Smash in a quick match. Barrett grabs a mic and again tells Bully Ray he isn’t even in his league. Sheamus comes out and stands at the top of the ramp and applauds Barrett.

Daniel Bryan comes to the ring and reminds everyone he is the #1 contender for the World Title; and while it seems everyone wants to change that fact, there is nothing that can be done about it. It is what it is. He beat Alberto Del Rio last week, and CM Punk at Unleashed. It seems they are both still in disbelief, so Daniel Bryan is happy to beat them again right here, right now.

Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring and says Daniel Bryan got lucky last week, and had to rely on a producer in a truck to play Samoa Joe’s music to distract him to get the job done.

CM Punk makes his way down the ramp and says he is the best in the world, and he welcomes Daniel Bryan putting his #1 contender spot on the line tonight. Bryan tells Punk he never said he would put up his title shot, or that he would wrestle CM Punk and Del Rio in a triple threat match tonight. No, he has something else in mind. A tag team match. Punk and Del Rio against Daniel Bryan and someone they both know well.
Brodus Clay’s music hits, and he rushes the ring, chasing CM Punk through the ropes. He catches Punk before he can escape over the barricade and Smashes him before laying him on the announce table. Clay follows up with a massive Funk It splash, breaking the table. While Brodus and Punk lay outside the ring; Bryan attacks Del Rio and looks for the No Lock submission move early. Before he can lock it in, Samoa Joe’s music hits, and the Samoan Submission Machine storms the ring, picking up Daniel Bryan and hitting the Muscle Buster. He goes after Alberto, but Del Rio escapes through the ropes and runs up the ramp.

As Joe attacked Bryan first, Bryan and Clay are awarded the DQ win.

Daniel Bryan and Brodus Clay bt CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio via DQ

After the match, Samoa Joe storms backstage and grabs a mic. He says it doesn’t matter if it is Daniel Bryan or Alberto Del Rio, or Sheamus or anyone else; it is Samoa Joe’s time; and he will be World Champion before Battle Royal; and go on to headline Supercard.

As Joe storms off, CM Punk is shown staggering behind, and says he notices Joe didn’t include him in that list. Punk says maybe it’s because Joe has some loyalty and respect, and remembers that Punk and Joe were once Tag Team Champions. Chris Jericho appears out of nowhere behind Punk and says, maybe it’s because you’re the best in the world? Jericho laughs and walks off, leaving CM Punk looking pissed.

Triple H makes his way to the ring wearing his referee shirt. The Legends Title match is our main event, and it’s up next.

Kane and Jeff Hardy engage in a brutal match, with Hardy relying on high flying moves to knock Kane off his feet, and Kane using his power game to gain advantage. Kurt Angle comes to ringside but is ordered out by Triple H. This is enough to distract Hardy who turns around into a giant chokeslam from Kane. Triple H refuses to make the count, saying Angle was interfering in the result of the match. Kane motions to chokeslam Triple H, but he tells him he will disqualify him and strip him of the title. Kane scoops up Jeff Hardy and hits him with a tombstone piledriver. Kane demands Triple H make the count. Triple H reluctantly counts to three.

Kane bt Jeff Hardy to retain the Legends Title. After the match, Triple H stares down Kane and tells him this ain’t over as All Star Wrestling goes off the air.

Tune in next week to see the fall out from tonight’s No Contest fiasco and Samoa Joe’s next move; as well as the rematch for the Tag Team Titles between Kane & John Cena and Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy. Will Tyson Kidd accept Kurt Angle’s invitation? Who will Damian Sandow’s first challenger be for the Intercontinental Title?

Ten matches every week!

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

A recap is shown of what happened last wek, including Kurt Angle inviting Tyson Kidd to form an alliance; Damian Sandow becoming the new Intercontinental Champion; Samoa Joe attacking everyone in sight; and Triple H making the three count as Kane & John Cena retained the Tag Team Titles

The show starts with Triple H making his way to the ring with a mic. Triple H talks up the Battle Royal on October 26, and says he has unfinished business with both Kane and John Cena, and once he wins the Battle Royal and goes on to become World Champion for the 6th time at Supercard; Kane and John Cena will be lucky to get into the arena. He talks about how Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy get their rematch tonight, and in the interests of fairness, Triple H will step aside and will not be the special guest referee tonight. He has someone else in mind instead for that role, and calls out Tyson Kidd!

Tyson Kidd makes his way to the ring, looking confused by the announcement. Triple H tells him he knows he will call the match right down the middle, regardless of any potential alliance he may or may not have formed with Kurt Angle. Triple H tells Tyson that he now owes Tyson a favour, so in two weeks time, he will put together an Invitation Only Battle Royal match to determine the #1 contender for Tyson's European Title. Triple H says he expects all competitors to beat the living crap out of each other for the opportunity, which can only benefit Kidd. He wishes Tyson luck tonight, and says he knows he will do a good job, before leaving the ring, leaving Tyson looking perplexed.

Heath Slater bt Derrick Bateman After the match, Slater declared himself worthy of an invitation to the Invitation Only Battle Royal in two weeks, but Bateman recovers to take Slater out and declare himself a worthy contender for the European Title as well.

Joey Ryan comes to the ring, and says now he has his first win under his belt, he is on a roll, and declares himself an entrant in the Battle Royal match. He says he hopes to see Chris Jericho there so he can personally thank him for teaching him valuable lessons.

Joey Ryan bt Santino Marella After the match, while Joey celebrates, Chris Jericho walks into the ring and nails Joey with a Codebreaker. Jericho screams Best In The World!! before leaving.

We are shown a recap of the break up of the team of Chavo Guerrero and Harry SMith, and Harry's interference in Chavo's match last week.

Harry Smith takes on Richie Steamboat. Smith dominates with his pwoer game, but Trent Barreta and Chavo Guerrero come to ringside in an attempt to help Steamboat. They are matched by Jack Swagger and Drew McIntyre coming down the ramp. As the four brawl outside the ring, Smith hits the jack-knife power bomb on Steamboat to pick up the win.

Harry Smith bt Richie Steamboat

Drew & Swagger stay in the ring as Trent & Chavo help Steamboat to the back. The Usos come to the ring for the next match.

McIntyre and Swagger dominate the Usos from start to finish and pick up the quick win when Drew hits the Future Shock DDT on Jey Uso.

Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger bt The Usos Harry Smith rejoins the ring to celebrate with the winners.

Backstage, Samoa Joe is interviewed about his actions of last week. Joe says he wants a title shot. He wants Del Rio. He says he has a partner for tonight; someone he knows very well. He calls out Sheamus and Del Rio and screams Make It Happen!

R Truth and Kofi Kingston make their way to the ring to take on Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel.

All four participants display a range of high flying skills, but Daniels catchwes Truth with a BME and makes the tag to Gabriel who hits the 450 splash for the win.

Justin Gabriel & Christopher Daniels bt Kofi Kingston & R-Truth

Wade Barrett comes to the ring and says he still believes he deserves a shot at the World Title at Battle Royal, esopecially after he made such light work of Bully Ray last week. He says if he wins tonight, he demands a match with Daniel Bryan next week with the #1 Contender spot on the line.

Barrett waits in the ring for his opponent - it's Dolph Ziggler!

Ziggler gets the upper hand early, but Barrett uses his size advantage to break Dolph's holds, and then uses the power game to knock Dolph off his feet. Dolph uses his quickness to avoid any of Barrett's pin attempts, and manages to knock Barrett down with a series of kicks. Ziggler climbs the ropes but Barrett recovers and suplexes Ziggler off the ropes to the canvas. Barrett stalks Ziggler until he gets up, and Barrett catches him with the Souvenir Elbow Smash to pick up the win.

Wade Barrett bt Dolph Ziggler

Backstage, William Regal is interviewed about losing the Intercontinental Title last week, and how he feels about Austin Aries getting first shot tonight. Regal says Aries has already had two attemopts and couldn't get the job donw. Regal will be waiting for Sandow next week as he invokes his rematch clause. He says he has a plan for Aries to ensure it is Sandow holding the title at the end of the night.

Austin Aries enters the ring to face Damian Sandow for the Intercontinental Title. Aries has Sandow tied up with his quickness and high flying kicks which knock Sandow to the mat quickly. Sandow powers out of a pin attempt, and slowly gets the advantage uasing his size and power to slow the match down. Just as Sandow looks to have the match won, Regal comes running out and grabs a chair, knocking Sandow senseless. Aries looks pissed as Regal smirks and leaves the ring.

Damian Sandow bt Austin Aries by DQ to retain the Intercontinental Title.

Regal is shown laughing backstage, when Sandow catches up with him, and tells him if he wants a shot that badly, he has it. It's on next week, but it's going to be a no DQ match. Regal accepts.

Sheamus is in the ring, saying it doesn't matter who he faces at Battle Royal. He has been World Champion since Resolution in January, and he has no intentions of dropping the belt now. So it can be his reluctant partner tonight Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan.....it really doesn't matter, Sheamus will go on to headline Supercard in December.

Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring and doesn't even acknowledge his tag team partner tonight, Sheamus.

Samoa Joe hits the ring all fired up, before his tag team partner is introduced - and it's CM Punk!!

Punk goes after Del Rio straight away as we are reminded about their failure to work as a team last week, although Brodus Clay had as much to do with that as anyone. Punk smashes Del Rio with elbow shots, forcing him into the corner, but Sheamus makes the blind tag and goes on the offence, knocking Punk down to the mat. Sheamus picks him up and goes for White Noise, but Punk reaches over to tag in Samoa Joe. Joe unloads on Sheamus, but the Champ comes back and the heavyweights trade blows back and forth. Joe starts to get the upper hand though, and Sheamus is forced to look for a tag. Del Rio reluctantly makes the tag and he and Joe cause the match to totally breakdown, rolling over the top rope and fighting on the floor. CM Punk climbs the ropes and delivers a huge elbow drop onto Del Rio on the floor. Sheamus gets in the ring and waits for Joe to get back in the ring, but Wade Barrett runs to the ring and surprises Sheamus with Wasteland. He then nails the Souvenir Elbow Smash on Samoa Joe. Barrett then grabs a mic and reiterates his demand for a match with Daniel Bryan next week, saying he will interfere in every match until he gets what he deserves.

Sheamus & Alberto Del Rio V CM Punk & Samoa Joe ends in a No Contest

Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, and grants Barrett his match for next week, and tells him he will get exactly what he deserves. Barrett walks off looking smug. Bryan then says someone else here needs to get what they deserve. And that man is someone who abandoned him in a tag team match last week to satisfy his own agenda. Bryan calls out Brodus Clay.

Clay overpowers Bryan early, knocking him to the mat several times but unable to make a cover. The match ends when Bryan rolls out of the way of the Funk It splash and hooks Clay into the No Lock while Clay is still on the mat.

Daniel Bryan bt Brodus Clay

Backstage, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk and Samoa Joe are still arguing, and Joe demands a Title shot next week. Punk tells Del Rio they have unfinished business and they should settle it next week. Both Sheamus and Del Rio accept the challeneges, but all four start to brawl again in the backstage area.

Special referee Tyson Kidd comes to the ring for tonight's Tag Team Title match main event.

Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy come to the ring and Angle hugs Tyson. Tyson points to his referee shirt and tries to tell Angle he will call it right down the middle, but Angle just laughs it off. Kane comes out first, followed by John Cena.

Cena and Hardy start the match. Hardy is too quick for Cena, and gets the upperhand with some flying elbows to knock Cena down. Hardy goes for the Swanton Bomb early, but Cena rolls out of the way. Cena hits some shoulder blocks to knock Hardy down, but Jeff manages to get himself to the corner to tag Angle. Kurt and Cena trade blows, with Angle gaining the ascendancy, and traps Cena into three German suplexes. Kane has seen enough, and reaches over to make a blind tag. Kane pushes Angle into the ropes and nails him with a clothesline and goes for a quick pin, but Hardy breaks it up. Kane goes after Hardy, but Tyson gets in between them and tells Hardy to get out of the ring. As Kane turns his attention back to Angle, he is caught in the Angle Slam and Kurt makes a cover. Tyson makes the count but Kane kicks out on two. Angle picks up Kane again and looks for another Angle Slam while Hardy climbs the ropes. Angle hits it and makes the tag to Hardy who delivers a perfect Swanton Bomb and make the cover. Cena breaks up the count and Tyson says he should disqualify him. Hardy reminds Tyson that they can't win the titles on a DQ, which gives Kane enough time to crawl over to make the tag to Cena. Cena grabs a distracted Hardy and sets him up for the Attitude Adjustment, knocking down Tyson Kidd accidentally. Cena Puts Hardy down and goes to tend on Tyson, angering Kane. Kurt Angle also comes in looking concerned for Tyson and argues with Cena. Kane makes a blind tag and comes into the ring and delivers a brutal chokeslam to Jeff Hardy. But there is no referee! Cena and Angle are still arguing as Tyson rolls under the ropes, and Chris Jericho's music hits, and he comes swaggering to the ring in referee attire! Kane picks up Hardy and delivers a second chokeslam and Jericho makes the cover. 1 2 3 Kane & Cena retain the Tag Team Titles.

Kane & John Cena bt Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy to retain the Tag Team Titles After the match, Angle helps Tyson up the ramp as Kane confronts Cena, saying he nearly cost them the match and the titles. Cena gets pissed and out of nowhere hits the AA on Kane. As Hardy makes his way to his feet, Jericho lines him up and hits the codebreaker. Hardy rolls out of the ring as Cena and Jericho leave, leaving Kane lying in the middle of the ring.

Daniels and Gabriel race down to the ring, and Daniels hits a BME on Kane, followed by Gabriel's 450 splash. Daniels and Gabriel celebrate over a laid out Kane as ASW goes off the air.

Alberto Del Rio V CM Punk
Damian Sandow V William Regal for the Intercontinental Title

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

A recap is shown outlining the tensions between the Tag Team/Legends/European Titles, including another break down between Kane & John Cena; Tyson Kidd being involved with Kurt Angle & Jeff Hardy; and Chris Jericho's shocking involvement at the end of the tag team match last week.

We also recap the World Title and #1 Contender situation, with Sheamus and Daniel Bryan still on track to face each other at Battle Royal in four weeks, despite the actions of Samoa Joe, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Wade Barrett and Brodus Clay.

The show starts with Chris Jericho coming to the ring to address his actions of last week. Jericho says it doesn't seem to matter who he annoys at the moment, or on what level. Whether it be Joey Ryan trying to make a name for himself, CM Punk still trying to prove he is the best in the world, or ensuring Kane & John Cena stay the tag team champions. What does it all mean? It means that Chris Jericho is a true Legend. And the fact is that he can beat Kane for the Legends Title. But he doesn't expect to granted a Legends Title match on a silver platter. No, true Legends earn their way to that status, so tonight he challenging Jeff Hardy to a match. Because Hardy was the last #1 contender for the Legends Title, so Chris Jericho wants to make sure Kane sees first hand that his reign is fast coming to an end. Chris Jericho will beat Jeff Hardy tonight, and then beat Kane and get what he so richly deserves, the Legends Title.

We see a recap of the split between Chavo Guerrero and Harry Smith and the ongoing battles and interference.

Chavo Guerrero, Trent Barreta and Richie Steamboat bt Harry Smith, Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger when Chavo hits three amigos on Swagger, and Barreta hits a five star frogsplash for the cover in an homage to Eddie Guerrero. After the match, Chavo stares down Harry while Drew assists Swagger to his feet.

Backstage, Harry Smith tells us he is entering himself in the Battle Royal match on October 26, and he will have Drew & Swagger in there alongside him.

David Otunga comes to the ring and tells Joey Ryan he got lucky in their match two weeks ago, but he won't be making the same mistake twice. He calls out Ryan for a rematch.

Joey Ryan bt David Otunga and mocks Otunga as he leaves the ring.

Backstage, Chavo, Trent and Richie all enter themselves in the Battle Royal match.

Kassious Ohno is talking to Antonio Cesario, and says he hopes Cesaro has a good long think about what he said last week. They are the Kings of Wrestling damnit - so let's go out there tonight and prove it to the world.

R Truth and Kofi Kingston make their way to the ring for their match with Ohno and Cesaro. Kofi gets in most of the offense before being clotheslined hard by Ohno. Ohno makes a cover but Kofi kicks out and makes a tag to R Truth. Truth pushes Ohno back to his corner, and Cesaro makes the tag. Cesaro quickly gets the upper hand and is showing a new intensity, much to the delight of Ohno. Cesaro hits the Gotch Style Neutralizer for the win. Ohno and Cesaro celebrate as Kofi shakes his head and leaves R Truth lying in the ring.

Kassius Ohno & Antonio Cesaro bt R Truth & Kofi Kingston

Bully Ray comes to the ring and says what happened two weeks ago against Wade Barrett was an aberration. He says he has been in this business a hell of a long time, and he doesn't like young upstarts thinking they can just come in and take the spot he has worked over a decade for. He challenges any young brash cocky whippersnapper in the back to come out here and try to take his damn spot.

Titus O'Neil makes his way out, and this match is on. Titus uses his size and power to advantage, dominating Bully Ray early. Titus gets Bully in a number of pinfall spots, but Bully kicks out each time. Ray calls for a time out and crawls out of the ring. Titus looks frustrated and calls for the referee to get Bully Ray back in the ring. While the referee tries to keep Titus in the middle of the ring, Bully Ray makes his way to the apron, and has his steel chain in hand. He nails Titus with the chain and the referee calls for the disqualification.

Titus O'Neil bt Bully Ray via DQ After the match, Bully Ray continues to assault Titus with the chain, which brings out Percy Watson. Watson tries to get in some offense, but Ray ends up nailing him with the chain as well. Ray looks to hammering both again when D-Von comes running into the ring, and asks Bully what the hell he thinks he is doing. D-Von dares Bully to hit him with the chain, but Ray backs down and leaves the ring. D-Von helps Watson and Titus to their feet, as Ray looks on walking back up the ramp.

Samoa Joe is backstage talking about loyalty. He says it may be five years ago, but he remembers his tag title reign with CM Punk like it was yesterday, and he knew Punk would back him up last week. He says he will be there to watch Punk's back in his match with Alberto Del Rio; and knows Punk will have his back in his World Title match with Sheamus later tonight.

Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring and awaits CM Punk for their match which is next.

CM Punk comes to the ring with a mic and says before he decimates Alberto Del Rio he has something to say. He says he appreciates Samoa Joe's kind words, and says he too respects loyalty. He then questions why Samoa Joe decided after five years to look to CM Punk to be his partner last week. Is it because since 2007, CM Punk has gone on to capture the tag team championships a further three times? Twice with Chris Jericho and once with Colt Cabana; while Samoa Joe has won the tag titles exactly zero times since they were a team? Is it because later in 2007, CM Punk became the European Champion - a title he held for five months, while Samoa Joe held that title exactly zero times? Or is it because CM Punk became World Champion? A title Samoa Joe has held exactly zero times? Punk says he respects Joe's loyalty, but questions his motives. In saying that he wishes him well tonight, and hopes he wins, because history shows CM Punk is better than Samoa Joe, and if Joe wins the World Title tonight, it will be just that much easier for Punk to again become World Champion.

Del Rio has heard enough and attacks Punk with elbows and high knees, forcing him against the ropes, and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Punk looks shocked initially, and then just pissed, as he gets back in the ring and returns with a flurry of elbow and knee shots of his own. Punk knocks Del Rio to the floor, but goes after him and they battle their way up the ramp. The referee starts the count. Punk and Alberto make their way to the top of the ramp as the referee counts them both out.

CM Punk V Alberto Del Rio ends in a double count out

Punk and Del Rio continue to fight in the backstage area until they both spot Sheamus. They stop, look at each other, and then both go after Sheamus in the back. Samoa Joe walks past, and looks happy with proceedings. Sheamus manages to fight both men off and all go their separate ways....

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is interviewed about being the #1 contender, and the target on his back ever since he won the match against Alberto Del Rio to earn a World Title shot. Bryan says he is sick of Del Rio, and he is sick of CM Punk, and all of the others that think they can just disregard him and his rightful spot in the World Title match at Battle Royal. He says he is especially sick of Wade Barrett and says after tonight, Barrett will be lucky to even get in the Battle Royal match, much less become the World Champion.

William Regal and Damian Sandow enter the ring for their no DQ Intercontinental Title match. Austin Aries joins us for commentary.

Regal pulls out all of his old school traditional holds to get Sandow to submit, but Sandow manages to get to the ropes on each occasion. Sandow slides under the bottom rope to gain some time as Regal demands he get back in the ring. Sandow picks up a chair, and we are reminded that it is totally legal in this no DQ match. Sandow slams the chair against the ring post as he makes his way up the steps. He holds the chair up, and Regal hits a standing missile drop kick into the chair, knocking Sandow back to the floor. Regal goes to the outside and grabs the chair and starts to wail away at Sandow, who manages to duck out of the way. Sandow slithers around the ring avoiding Regal's chairshots before getting back in the ring. Regal throws the chair away, and goes under the ring to reveal a kendo stick. Regal gets back in the ring and Sandow begs off, but Regal smashes the kendo stick across Sandow's chest and back. Regal throws the stick down and goes back to under the ring, where he finds a garbage can. As Sandow is still recovering, Regal dumps the can over Sandow and gets the kendo stick again and slams it against the can, causing Sandow to stagger around the ring, falling out of the can and onto the canvas. Regal makes the cover. 1 2 Sandow kicks out! Regal grabs the can lid and goes to hit Sandow with it when he returns to his feet, but Sandow ducks it and kicks Regal in the gut, causing him to buckle over. Sandow grabs the kendo stick an unleashes fury on Regal. Regal is pushed back against the ropes, and Sandow drags him in, hitting the straight jacket neckbreaker on Regal, who lands on the garbage can. Sandow makes the cover. 1 2 3.

Damian Sandow bt William Regal to retain the Intercontinental Title

After the match, Aries says if this is what qualifies for an Intercontinental Title match these days, he wants no part of it, and declares himself an entrant in the Battle Royal match for a shot at the World Title at Supercard.

We are shown a recap of the end of ASW last week when Justin Gabriel and Christopher Daniels attacked Kane with their finishing moves after the Tag Team Titles match last week.

Backstage, Kane catches up with John Cena, and tells him if he is such a fighting champion as he claims, then maybe he should be concentrating on winning matches instead of helping referees. Cena tells Kane Tyson Kidd didn't deserve to get taken out the way he did, and he was just doing whatever any decent human being would do. Kane asks if Cena is implying if he is not a decent human being? Cena tells him to make his own conclusions. Cena goes to leave, but comes back, and says maybe it would be better if they just accepted this was never going to work, and just stop the hypocrisy. Cena tells Kane he will never like him, he will never be like him, and he doesn't even know how they got to be the tag team champions in the first place. Cena gets frustrated and leaves. After he has gone, Kane wonders out loud how good is Cena when he is all fired up...

Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan enter the ring for their #1 contenders match.
Barrett tries to use his size and strength advantage early, but is frustrated by Bryan's speed and ability to work out of any hold Barrett gets him in. A back and forth match ensues, with Bryan going for submission moves, but Barrett using his size to get to the ropes each time. Eventually Bryan goes for a guillotine choke and has it locked in on Barrett with good ring position. Barrett starts to fade, and falls to one knee as Bryan locks the hold in tight. Barrett drops to both knees but refuses to tap out. Bryan synches it in tight and Barrett eventually passes out, causing the referee to stop the match, although Barrett never actually tapped out.

Daniel Bryan bt Wade Barrett

Chris Jericho is shown getting ready for his match, when Triple H enters. Hunter tells Jericho he can't just demand a title match. Jericho reminds Triple H that he is doing no such thing, and he is going to earn it by beating Jeff Hardy tonight. Triple H says Hardy was screwed two weeks ago, and he deserves a rematch, so here's what he will do. Jeff Hardy is going to get another shot at Kane next week, but if Jericho can beat Jeff tonight, he gets a guaranteed shot at the winner of next week's match. Triple H leaves looking smug, while Jericho looks pissed.

Justin Gabriel and Christopher Daniels enter the ring - their Tag Team Titles match is next.

John Cena comes to the ring first, followed by Kane. It is noted that the champs aren't even acknowledging each other here tonight, as Cena starts off with Gabriel. Cena knocks Gabriel down with shoulder blocks, but Gabriel gets up and surprises Cena with a swinging neck breaker and goes for a cover, but Cena kicks out on one, and applauds Gabriel. Cena walks to his corner and slaps Kane across the chest to make the tag. Gabriel goes on the offense straight away, causing Kane to stagger around the ring. Gabriel goes to the top rope and launches himself at Kane, but is caught mid air and Kane hits a powerful sidewalk slam and goes for a cover. Gabriel kicks out on 2 and manages to tag in Daniels. Daniels attacks Kane with kicks to the knees, causing Kane to fall to one knee, and then takes him down with a missile drop kick before going for the cover. Kane again kicks out at 2, and pushes Daniels away long enough to make his way to tag Cena. Cena refuses to make the tag, so Kane grabs him by the back of the neck and throws him into the ring over the top rope. Daniels sets up BME and goes to make a cover, but Cena kicks out on 2. Cena again recovers to hit shoulder blocks before hitting Daniels with the five knuckle shuffle. He goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Gabriel makes a blind tag, and hits a lightning fast 450 splash, taking out both Cena and Daniels. Gabriel crawls over to make the tag on Cena. 1 2 Kick out by Cena! Gabriel and Daniels now double team Cena knocking him down with a clothesline. The referee tells Daniels to leave, but he hits another BME before he goes. Gabriel goes to the top rope for the 450 again, but Kane interferes and knocks Gabriel to the floor. Daniels helps Gabriel to his feet, as Kane gets in the ring and drags Cena over to his corner so he can make a tag. Gabriel gets back in the ring but walks straight into a brutal chokeslam from Kane, who makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kane & John Cena bt Justin Gabriel & Christopher Daniels to retain the Tag Team Titles After the match, Kane leaves Cena at ringside and makes his way up the ramp. Gabriel looks dejected in the ring, but is comforted by Daniels.

Backstage, Sheamus is interviewed about the target on his back as we move towards Battle Royal on October 26. Sheamus says he has had a target on his back since he won the World Title at Resolution in January, but he seems to be the only one staying calm about it. He says it doesn’t matter if it's Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio or even Samoa Joe tonight; because he is going to do what he always does, and that is kick arse and walk out the World Champion.

Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy enter the ring, Jericho screaming best in the world right in Hardy's face as the bell gets us underway. Back and forth action with no one getting the upper hand until Hardy holds on to the ropes after being whipped in by Jericho, and Y2J goes for a codebreaker with no one at home. Jericho lands on his back and Hardy moves in for a quick cover. Jericho easily kicks out and looks to grab Hardy's legs, setting up for the Walls of Jericho. Hardy slides out of the attempt though, and nails Jericho with some well placed kicks to keep Jericho on the mat. Hardy climbs the ropes and hits the flying head butt, before going for another cover. Jericho kicks out, and grabs Hardy's arm and is looking for a crossface chicken wing. Hardy makes his way to the ring, but Jericho holds on until the five count before letting go. Hardy tries to shake it off, but Jericho again goes for the arm, and kicks Hardy in the gut while hanging on to the injured arm. He places his nail into Hardy's back and applies the camel clutch on Hardy in the middle of the ring. Hardy is forced to tap out.

Chris Jericho bt Jeff Hardy Hardy sells the arm injury after the match as we are reminded about his Legends Title match with Kane next week, and wonder if he will be able to compete.

Justin Gabriel is confronted in the back by Kassius Ohno, who tells Gabriel he just couldn't get the job done. Kassius suggests he learn from a real tag team, and Gabriel reminds him that he was Tag Team Champion in 2011 for four months. Ohno reminds Gabriel that it was the Kings of Wrestling that brought that title reign to an end. Gabriel reminds Ohno that their reign lasted a mere four weeks, and suggests they settle this in the ring next week. Ohno accepts.

Samoa Joe enters the ring for his World Title match with Sheamus, which is our Main Event - and it is next!

Sheamus enters the ring and we start with both heavyweights pushing each other around the ring trying to gain an advantage. Sheamus ties Joe up tin the ropes and nails Samoa with ten hard forearm shots to the chest. Joe turns Sheamus around and hits him with an Irish whip, before meeting him in the corner and climbing to the second rope to return the favour with chest shots of his own. Sheamus staggers into the middle of the ring, and Joe looks for the muscle buster, but Sheamus avoids it, and in turn hits White Noise. Sheamus goes for the cover, but Joe kicks out on two. Sheamus then looks to set up for the Brogue Kick as Joe gets to his feet. Joe ducks the kick and gets behind Sheamus to apply the rear naked choke. Sheamus desperately tries to make his way to the ropes, but Joe keeps pulling him back into the middle of the ring. Sheamus falls to one knee, as Joe locks in the move tighter. Sheamus rolls through, but Joe hangs on with both men on the mat. Sheamus tries to bridge out of it, but Joe hangs on. The referee sees Joe's shoulders on the mat with Sheamus still trying to break the choke hold. The referee makes the count. 1 2 3 Sheamus retains. Joe refuses to let go of the hold though, and argues with the referee about the decision. The referee says Joe's shoulders were clearly on the mat, and Sheamus had a pinning position. Joe eventually breaks the hold, leaving Sheamus near unconscious in the middle of the ring. Joe goes after the referee, but Alberto Del Rio comes down to distract Joe. Del Rio tries to get Joe in the cross arm breaker, but CM Punk comes to the ring to make the save. Del Rio backs off as Punk helps Joe back to his feet. Punk then hits the GTS on Samoa Joe!! Punk stands over Samoa Joe as ASW goes off the air.

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling - results from October 5, 2012

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

We have a recap of last week's main event and the aftermath with CM Punk hitting the GTS on Samoa Joe after his World Title match loss to Sheamus.

The show starts with CM Punk coming to the ring with a mic. CM Punk says the Battle Royal is every man for himself. Last week he just wanted to make sure everybody got the message. The Battle Royal is 30 Men each with a chance to get a shot at the World Title at Supercard in December. CM Punk says he is entering himself into the Battle Royal on October 26, and he will win and go on to become World Champion.

This brings out Samoa Joe, who says he understand why Punk did what he did. He wants to be World Champ. Well so does Samoa Joe, and he should've become World Champ last week if it wasn't for some referee's interpretation of the rules. He says he had Sheamus beat and he is also entering himself into the Battle Royal. He starts to get in Punk's face before Alberto Del Rio's music hits.

Alberto comes to the ring and asks both Punk and Joe who they think they are. Del Rio says he was the best World Champion in history. CM Punk reminds him that it was he who beat Del Rio for the title back in July 2011. Del Rio says it doesn't matter - that's ancient history. Del Rio enters himself in the Battle Royal and says he will destroy CM Punk and Samoa Joe.

Austin Aries comes to the ring and says this is all very boring, as he entered himself into the Battle Royal last week, and there is nobody that can stop him winning and going on to headline Supercard. Aries says he is so sure of his superiority that he proposes a four way match tonight with everyone in the ring. The match is booked.

Kassius Ohno comes to the ring followed by Justin Gabriel. Their match is up next.

Gabriel and Ohno go back and forth with a variety of holds and high spots before Gabriel has Ohno down on the mat and climbs the ropes for the 450 splash. Ohno leaps to his feet as Gabriel jumps off the ropes, and catches him with the KO elbow smash and covers Gabriel for the win.

Kassius Ohno bt Justin Gabriel

After the match, Kassius grabs a mic and tells Kane and John Cena we're coming after ya!

Triple H makes his way to the ring and talks about past Battle Royal matches. He reminds us that he has won two himself, and after October 26, he will be the first man to win three Battle Royals. He puts over the original format back in 1979 when 30 men went at it, and talks about how it changed to the current format of one man entering every two minutes in the early 1990s. He puts over previous winners such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Andre The Giant, The Undertaker.....and Mike Knox....

Triple H says he is feeling nostalgic, so tonight there will be an old school Battle Royal match to determine the #1 contender for the European Title. Ten men all in the ring, with the goal to throw them over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. The winner will face Tyson Kidd next week for the European Title.

Chavo Guerrero bt Harry Smith after hitting three amigos before making the cover.

R Truth makes his way to the ring, and says he has no problem with Kofi Kingston, but Little Jimmy does. He says it's all Little Jimmy's fault that Kofi left him lying in the ring last week. R Truth says he wants to give Kofi another chance, but Little Jimmy has some reservations.

Kofi Kingston comes to the ring and says he doesn't care about Little Jimmy. He tells R Truth he needs to get his head straight. Truth says he can't believe Kofi disrespected him like that, and we have ourselves a match.

Kofi Kingston bt R Truth by hitting Trouble in Paradise.

Backstage, Heath Slater is bragging to no one in particular about how he is going to win the Battle Royal tonight and go on to win the European Title next week. He is confronted by the American Hero, Derrick Bateman, who tells him he represents all America, not just the Southern backwaters Slater comes from. He then goes on to say he will represent Europe the only way a true American can.

After another high quality even match, with traditional holds and high spots, Christopher Daniels pushes out of Antonio Cesaro's Neutralizer finisher just in time, and clotheslines Cesaro down, before hitting the BME and making the cover. 1 2 3.

Christopher Daniels bt Antonio Cesaro After the match, Ohno makes his way to the ring to try to double team Daniels, but Justin Gabriel makes the save. A match is made for next week between Cesaro/Ohno and Daniels/Gabriel to determine the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles at Battle Royal.

Damian Sandow makes his way to the ring and says he believes no one is worthy of challenging him for the Intercontinental Title. He says everyone is too focused on the lowly European Title tonight, so he may as well relieve his services from ASW until Battle Royal

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring and we have an impromptu match for the Intercontinental Title.

Damian Sandow bt Dolph Ziggler with the straight jacket neckbreaker to retain the Intercontinental Title. After the match Ziggler says he doesn't care about Sandow's stupid title, and he is entering himself in the Battle Royal and going after a real title - the World Title. Sandow looks chagrined as he leaves the ring with his belt.

Triple H returns to the ring and does the introductions for the competitors for the Battle Royal tonight. The entrants are Heath Slater, Derrick Bateman, Ritchie Steamboat, Trent Barreta, Titus O'Neil, David Otunga, Joey Ryan, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Triple H says that's only nine - we need one more. Is there anyone left in the back who wants to be a part of this?

This brings out Ryback for his ASW debut (as this character). Triple H acknowledges this as Ryback gets into the ring, by saying yip yip yip - ring the bell.

Everyone immediately goes after Otunga and Joey Ryan early on, with Bateman clotheslining Otunga over the top rope. Bateman and Steamboat combine to lift Joey up to the top turnbuckle, and Steamboat hits a missile drop kick to knock Ryan off the top rope and onto the floor. Steamboat celebrates by climbing the ropes and mocking Joey on the floor. Joey taunts Steamboat enough to allow Slater and Ambrose to combine to push Steamboat off the ropes and onto the floor.

Slater and Ambrose turn their attention to Derrick Bateman, who is helped by Trent Barreta. On the other side of the ring Seth Rollins and Titus O'Neil are trying to eliminate Ryback but with no success.

Ambrose goes to help try to eliminate Ryback, leaving Slater stranded, and he is thrown by Bateman and Barreta. Bateman chases after Ambrose, but he is collected with a vicious clothesline. Ambrose power lifts Bateman over the top rope, but while he leaning over surveying his damage, he is lifted up by Barreta and Rollins and also eliminated.

Ryback fights back against Titus O'Neil and knocks him to the canvas. He then goes after Rollins and Barreta. Ryback gets the upper hand and picks up Barreta and Rollins for Shell Shocked. Ryback nails the move, and then picks them both up to repat the move, except this time he walks to the ropes and drops them both to the floor.

Titus O'Neil gets up and rushes Ryback, but he leans on the ropes, causing Titus to eliminate himself.

Ryback wins the Battle Royal to become the #1 contender for the European Title.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is interviewed about his upcoming match with Sheamus at Battle Royal for the World Title, but is interrupted by Wade Barrett who tells Bryan he never tapped out last week, and he wants another shot. Daniel Bryan tells Barrett he can't believe he is coming back for more, and agrees to the match tonight.

In the ring, Bully Ray calls out D Von and Percy Watson. Bully Ray says he can't believe after all this time, D Von turned on him this way. D Von challenges Ray to a handicap match right now. Bully Ray refuses, but then says he has a partner for a tag team match. D Von and Watson are taken aback as Big Show's music hits and the behemoth returns to ASW.

Bully Ray and Big Show bt D Von and Percy Watson in a squash match when Show hits WMD on D Von to make the cover. Watson tries to make the save but gets caught with the Bully Bomb.

Backstage, Chris Jericho is whinging to no one in particular about ho unfair it is that Jeff Hardy gets a shot at the Legends Title tonight, when it should be him. The camera pans back to see Jericho talking to himself in the mirror.....

Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring, followed by Samoa Joe, Austin Aries and CM Punk.
Before the match starts we learn that Big Show and Buly Ray have entered themselves into the Battle Royal. Also, Titus O'Neil states he will take revenge for his friend D Von and Percy Watson by also entering and making sure Ray and Show have no chance.

Del Rio and Samoa Joe renew their hostilities immediately, spilling outside the ring. Punk and Aries go at it in the ring. Aries breaks every move Punk can throw at him, leaving CM frustrated and banging his fists on the canvas. Aries stands in the middle of the ring waiting for him, but as Punk gets to his feet again, Joe throws Del Rio through the ropes, knocking Punk down. Joe gets back into the ring as Punk confronts him, but Joe pushes him down into the arms of Aries who lifts him up for the brain buster. Aries hits the move and makes the cover as Joe laughs and walks away. We're reminded of Punk saying last week it was every man for himself on October 26 when he hit the GTS on Joe. Aries makes the cover. 1 2 3. As Aries raises his arms and celebrates in the ring, he is ambushed from behind by Del Rio who locks in the cross arm breaker. Punk recovers and looks to make the save, but chooses to leave the ring. Referees come out to force Del Rio to break the hold on Aries. Del Rio smiles and raises his arms in the ring as Aries is carried out.

Austin Aries bt CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Alberto Del Rio

Backstage, we return to Chris Jericho's ramblings as he talks to himself in the mirror about how unfair it is that Jeff Hardy gets another shot at the Legends Title. Suddenly, Jericho spots someone else in the mirror, and turns around to see John Cena.

Cena tells Jericho he doesn't like Kane, and he still has no idea how they became the Tag Team Champions. But what Cena likes even less than Kane is a cry baby. He tells Jericho to man up. Next week, whoever wins the Legends Title tonight, Chris Jericho is going to go one on one with John Cena. Cena says he's not doing it for Kane. He's doing it for himself. Chris Jericho says he is the best in the world - well next week he is going to have to prove it. Cena leaves before Jericho can say anything. Jericho goes back to his mirror talking about how everything is unjust.
Still backstage, we see Derrick Bateman also talking to himself in a mirror, saying it's time for a new American hero to rise up. He tells himself he will enter himself into the Battle Royal. Cena comes up behind him but stops himself, smiles and shakes his head and walks away. Bateman turns around and does the you can't see me gesture, saying America Can't See You!

Wade Barrett makes his way to the ring. As Daniel Bryan comes down, Barrett leaves the ring and meets Bryan on the entrance ramp, unloading on him with a flurry of punches, European uppercuts and elbows. Bryan is left lying on the ramp as Barrett raises his arms and walks back into the ring, taunting Bryan and daring him to come back into the ring. Bryan slowly makes his way to his feet and stumbles down the ramp to the ring. He gets up on the apron and avoids Barrett lunging at him by dropping back to the floor. Barrett showboats in the ring as Bryan goes under the ring and grabs a kendo stick. Bryan waits until Barrett moves closer and then nails him in the head, causing Barrett to reel back, allowing Bryan to get back in the ring. Bryan unloads on Barrett with the kendo stick, forcing him against the ropes. With Barrett tied up in the ropes, Bryan looks for the No lock. The referee makes the count and Bryan breaks the hold, but Barrett unties himself and makes his way back up the ramp. Barrett yells at Bryan that he is going to win Battle Royal and there's nothing Bryan can do about it. Barrett is eventually counted out giving Daniel Bryan the win.

Daniel Bryan bt Wade Barrett
Backstage, Sheamus is being interviewed about Daniel Bryan's new vindictive streak tonight and how it will impact on their World Title match at Battle Royal. Before Sheamus can really answer, he is attacked from behind by Bully Ray and Big Show. Bully says Sheamus's days as Champion are numbered regardless of who wins the match at Battle Royal. Ray drags Sheamus back to his feet and he is then laid out by the WMD from Big Show. Show and Ray taunt the champion, as we return to in ring action.

Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring first, followed by Kane. The Legends Title match is our main event and it's up next.
Kane dominates Hardy early, knocking him down and into the corner, folding him up like an accordion. Kane stomps away on a prone Hardy, before dragging him to his feet and hitting a sidewalk slam and going for a cover. Hardy kicks out on 2 and rolls under the ropes to the floor. Hardy tries to regain his composure, but Kane reaches over the ropes and drags Hardy back in by his hair over the top rope. Kane hits a huge knee drop to Hardy's chest and again goes for the cover. 1 2 Hardy barely gets his shoulders up. Kane stalks Hardy across the ring until Hardy hits a low blow in desperation. Kane staggers back s Hardy gets back to his feet and hits a standing missile drop kick, knocking Kane back into the ropes. Hardy tosses Kane across the ring and goes for a Twist of Fate, but Kane counters easily and pushes Hardy to the mat. Kane hovers over Hardy waiting for him to get back to his feet. As Hardy gets up he is caught in a chokeslam. Kane goes for the cover. Hardy again kicks out on 2. Kane picks up Hardy and sets him up for the tombstone piledriver. Kane hits it and makes the cover. 1 2 3.

Kane bt Jeff Hardy to retain the Legends Title in a dominant performance. As Kane raises his arms in the ring with his belt, Chris Jericho comes to the top of the ramp to applaud mockingly. As Kane stares him down, John Cena joins Jericho and applauds Kane, telling Jericho, next week, me and you. It seems the Tag Team Champions are finally on the same page as ASW goes off the air.

Matches confirmed for next week
John Cena V Chris Jericho

Tune in to All Star Wrestling next week. Ten matches every week!

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling - results from October 12, 2012

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Tyson Kidd (27/7/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

We start with a recap of last week, with Chris Jericho earning a shot at Kane's Legends Title, but having to face his tag team partner, John Cena, first, here tonight. We also see Ryback win a battle royal to become the #1 contender for the European Title; Sheamus being attacked backstage by Big Show and Bully Ray; and CM Punk leaving Austin Aries at the mercy of Alberto Del Rio.

The match starts with Austin Aries in the ring with a mic. Aries says he harbours no ill will towards CM Punk for leaving him in the middle of the ring last week where Alberto Del Rio attacked him after their match. He says he doesn't even have a problem with what Alberto did. After all, the Battle Royal is about every man for himself. And whoever can take advantage should do so. The thing is that it was after the match, and it didn't matter as A Double was the winner. Just like he will be in two weeks at Battle Royal and then go on to become World Champion at Supercard.

The problem Austin has with Punk is that he never thought he would be a coward. The great CM Punk walking away from a fight. Well tonight, Punk has a choice. Either Punk can fight Aries in this very ring, or Aries will come looking for Punk.

As Aries leaves, he is passed by Alberto Del Rio on the ramp and have they have a tense stare off before Del Rio continues to the ring for his match with Samoa Joe.

Alberto makes short work of Samoa Joe, knocking him down with a series of high kicks before setting up for the cross arm breaker. Joe tries to get to the ropes, but is forced to make the tap out.

Alberto Del Rio bt Samoa Joe

Backstage, an attempt is made to interview Ryback about his Battle Royal win last win, and his European Title match with Tyson Kidd tonight. Ryback however just stares silently straight ahead before walking off.

Joey Ryan makes his way to the ring for a match up next with Derrick Bateman. Bateman eventually uses his size and power game to overcome Joey Ryan, and afterwards says he will not only win the Battle Royal match for all of America, but he will also challenge for the European Title saying Europe needs a true American to represent them.

Derrick Bateman bt Joey Ryan

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring, and tells Bateman not go get too far ahead of himself. Rollins challenges Bateman to a match next week, with the winner getting a European Title shot at Battle Royal.

Dean Ambrose comes out and tells Rollins he will have to get through him first, and attacks him as the bell rings and we have an impromptu match. Ambrose gets the upper hand and dominates Rollins early, but Bateman hits a low blow from the ring apron on Ambrose before leaving the ringside area. This turns the tide for Rollins who gets in enough offence to get the upper hand before hitting Black Out for the win.

Seth Rollins bt Dean Ambrose

Backstage, we see Triple H arriving at the arena.

Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler have a match full of high flying manoeuvres, with a number of near falls. Ziggler hits Zig Zag, but Kofi gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Kofi recovers to hit some high kicks and knees, leaving Ziggler lying in the middle of the ring. Kofi goes to the top rope but is caught by Ziggler's raised knee on the way down. Both men beat the ten count, but Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere and makes the cover. After the match, Kofi says last week Dolph Ziggler disrespected the Intercontinental Title with his comments to Damian Sandow. Kofi says he respects Sandow and he respects the Intercontinental Title, and he respectfully asks for a title shot at Battle Royal.

Kofi Kingston bt Dolph Ziggler

John Cena joins us for commentary for the #1 Contender Match for the Tag Team Titles. Kane is noticeably absent.

The Kings of Wrestling, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno make their way to the ring first, followed by Christopher Daniels and Justin Gabriel. It's going to be Cesaro and Gabriel starting things off. Cesaro and Gabriel sound each other out before Cesaro's power gives him the advantage.

Cena is asked about helping Kane by going one on one with Chris Jericho tonight, and is asked if the Tag Team Champs are on the same page. Cena says he and Kane will never be friends. They don't even like each other. They are accidental champions, and he is the first to admit that. But the thing is, he likes being Tag Team Champion, and if he can help Kane, just maybe Kane will remember and help him out some time too.

Back in the ring, Cesaro has made the tag to Ohno who is working over Gabriel. The Kings are working fluently together, with Cesaro back in again while keeping Gabriel in the corner, unable to make a tag. Cesaro sets up Gabriel early for the Neutralizer, but Daniels races into the ring to break the hold. He drags Gabriel to their corner and is able to make a tag. Daniels immediately hits a BME, knocking Cesaro the the mat, and goes for a cover. 1 2 Kick out by Cesaro. Ohno reaches over and tags himself in.

Cena is asked where exactly is Kane tonight? Cena says he has no idea and he doesn't care. As long as Kane is in the ring with him when it counts, he doesn't care what the hell Kane gets up to. Cena wonders aloud what Kane gets up to away from wrestling anyway?

Ohno is working hard on Daniels, as Cena is asked if he has a preference on who he'd rather face in two weeks time at Battle Royal. Cena says all four men in the ring tonight are impressive and they will be hard to beat, especially if he and Kane can't get along.

Daniels hits another BME on Kassius, but again can't make the three count. Daniels holds Ohno down while Gabriel goes up for a 450 splash. Cesaro runs into the ring to catch Gabriel mid air and hit the neutralizer, but neither are the legal men. Cesaro and Ohno both turn to Daniels who slides under the ring. Ohno chases him up the ramp and both men are counted out. Cesaro celebrates in the ring, but we still don't have a #1 Contender for the Tag Team Titles. Cena leaves the commentary table and gets in the ring to shake Cesaro's hand. Cesaro though hits another Gotch Neutralizer - this time on Cena!

Justin Gabriel/Christopher Daniels V Antonio Cesaro/Kassius Ohno is declared a double count out

Titus O'Neil is in the ring and shows a recap of what happened to his buddies D Von and Percy Watson last week at the hands of Big Show and Bully Ray. Titus says he vowed to get revenge and he calls them both out.

Show and Ray make their way to the ring and try to intimidate Titus. Titus says they should be very careful who they piss off, and he'd like to introduce them to his partner for tonight.

World Champion, Sheamus makes his way to the ring, and we have a four man brawl in the centre of the ring. The referee gets things under control and we see Bully Ray and Sheamus just hammering each other. Sheamus eventually gets Bully tied up in the ropes and smashes him with forearm shots to the chest. Sheamus tags in Titus who sweeps Bully's legs out from under him and goes for a cover. Show in to break it up. Titus stands up to Show, who looks like he's ready to hit WMD. Titus turns around and walks straight into the Bully Bomb. Ray covers. 1 2 Sheamus drags Ray off before the three count. Sheamus Ray go at it again, but Titus is the legal man, and takes Bully down from behind with a schoolboy roll up. Bully breaks out at two and Titus tags in Sheamus, while Ray tags in Big Show. More power action from both men, before Sheamus looks to go for the Brogue Kick. Show moves out of the way and tosses Sheamus into the ropes, and follows up with a massive sidewalk slam. Show covers but Sheamus kicks out on one. Show drags Sheamus up and goes for a chokeslam, but Titus gets back in to break it up. Show levels Titus with the WMD, while Bully comes in and surprises Sheamus with a Bully Bomb. Show comes back to pick up Sheamus and deliver a wicked chokeslam and makes the cover. 1 2 3

Big Show & Bully Ray bt Sheamus & Titus O'Neil

After the match, Daniel Bryan is seen in the back watching on a monitor and smiling at the carnage left in the ring. We're reminded Bryan will face Sheamus for the World Title in two weeks at Battle Royal.

Backstage, we see Kurt Angle giving Tyson Kidd a pep talk before his European Title defence against Ryback. That match is up next.

Ryback makes his way to the ring first and waits for the champion. Tyson Kidd enters the ring, and as the bell rings, immediately attacks with a series of low kicks to try to get Ryback off his feet. Ryback stands firm though and grabs Tyson and tosses him straight over the top rope to the floor. Tyson gets back in the ring before the ten count, but is dominated by the much bigger Ryback. Ryback throws Tyson into the turnbuckle, but Tyson uses his speed to climb to the top and launch himself at Ryback. Ryback catches Tyson mid air and power slams him to the canvas. Ryback then picks Tyson up and hits Shell Shocked to make the cover. 1 2 3. We have a new European Champion.

Ryback bt Tyson Kidd to win the European Title

Backstage Kurt Angle looks on despondently, when Triple H comes up behind him and says it's a tough break for Kidd. Angle pitches the idea of him and Tyson filling in for the Tag Team Titles match at Battle Royal since the #1 contender match was a no contest. Triple H says he had his heart on one of the two other teams tonight being in that event. But since they couldn't get the job done, he's going to give Angle a break. Triple H says he will consider Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd for the #1 contender spot...if Angle can beat Kane tonight.

CM Punk and Austin Aries go back and forth, hold for hold, high spot for high spot, absolutely beating the hell out of each other in their match. Aries has Punk in position for the brain buster, but Punk counters and gets Aries locked in the Anaconda Vice. Aries is forced to tap out.

CM Punk bt Austin Aries

After the match, CM Punk cuts a promo about how everyone keeps saying the Battle Royal is every man for himself; and that there are no friends in the Battle Royal. Well it just so happens that Punk has a little insurance policy. He says when you need help, you can always count on your friends. He says he is proud to announce the latest entrant in the Battle Royal match - Colt Cabana.

Cabana comes into the ring and he and Punk embrace, before Colt raises Punk's arm in triumph, as Punk screams Best In The World!!!

Backstage, Kurt Angle catches up with Tyson Kidd and tells him his plan and how Triple H accepted it. He asks Tyson to be in his corner for his match against Kane.

We cut to Daniel Bryan being interviewed, saying it doesn't matter how beat up Sheamus is after tonight's mauling at the hands of Big Show and Bully Ray; he doesn't want to wait until Battle Royal. He tells Sheamus he wants a piece of him next week.

In a match where Kane uses his size and power advantage to dominate early; he is eventually ground down by Angle to the mat where Angle can utilise his skills. Angle looks for a figure four, but Kane manages to get to the ropes. Kane kicks Angle in the head while both men are still on the mat, but as Kane goes to get up, Angle grabs his leg and pulls him back to the mat, locking in the ankle lock. Kane tries to get to his feet, and manages to hit an enziguri to break the hold. Kane reaches down to grab Angle for the chokeslam, but Angle gets Kane in a front face lock submission. Kane tries to break free, but the air is slowly choked out of him. The referee raises Kane's arm and it drops once, twice, three times, and the referee calls for the bell.

Kurt Angle bt Kane After the match, Kurt and Tyson celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Heath Slater is taunting Ambrose about losing tonight to Seth Rollins. Ambrose pushes him against the wall and reminds Slater how many European Title shots he lost over the last couple of years. Ambrose tells Slater that he will enter the Battle Royal, and the European Title will be a mere afterthought. As he walks away, Slater yells after him that the One Man Band will be in the Battle Royal too, so he'll be sure to keep an eye out for him. Ambrose comes back and gets right in Slater's face and tells him he can keep an eye out for him next week when they go one on one. Ambrose slams his fist into the wall on the side of Slater's face before walking off, leaving Slater looking intimidated. We pan back to see Leo Kruger looking on approvingly. Kruger simple says I'm in, and we are left to contemplate whether he has just entered himself into the Battle Royal match.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring with a mic. He says before he beats the living hell out of John Cena, before going on to take what is rightfully his; the Legends Title, away from Kane next week, he has a few things he wants to say. Jericho says it doesn't matter if it's John Cena and Kane, or CM Punk saying he is the best in the world, or Joey Ryan trying to make a name for himself, or Jeff Hardy trying to live on past glories. The fact is everyone wants to be a part of the Chris Jericho show. Everyone wants to bask in the limelight. Everyone wants to get the rub from Y2J.

Jericho is cut off by Cena's music, and the Tag Team Champ gets in the ring for the match to start.

They lock up and Cena overpowers Jericho, knocking him to the mat. Jericho gets up smiling, and they lock up again, but Cena powers him down again. Jericho rolls under the bottom rope and makes his way up the ramp, indicating he doesn't want any part of the match. Cena grabs a mic and reminds Jericho that if he doesn't beat him tonight, he loses his Legends Title shot next week. Jericho turns around, looking pissed, and makes his way back into the ring. Cena stands back, allowing Jericho to enter, and they lock up again. This time Jericho gets in a side head lock, but Cena uses his power to lift Jericho up and slam him down to the canvas. Cena makes the you can't see me gesture and goes for the five knuckle shuffle, but Jericho rolls out of the way and Cena punches the mat. Jericho grabs Cena's legs and looks for the Walls of Jericho finisher, but Cena easily powers out and tosses Y2J across the ring. Cena stalks Jericho now, picking him up and looking to hit the Attitude Adjustment. Jericho breaks out of it with a series of elbow shots to the head and both men are back on their feet. They trade blows in the middle of the ring, before Jericho gets the advantage with some European uppercuts, which leave Cena reeling against the ropes. Jericho rushes the ropes and clotheslines Cena over the top and onto the floor.

Kane's music hits and he runs down to the ring leaving Jericho looking anxious in the ring. Kane, however goes after Cena and looks like he is going to help him up. Instead Kane picks up Cena by the throat and chokeslams him onto the concrete floor before dragging him and rolling him into the ring. He tells Jericho to cover him. Y2J makes an easy cover. 1 2 3.

Chris Jericho bt John Cena

After the match, Kane stands over Cena in the ring and asks him who does he think he is? Kane asks Cena what made him ever think he would need his help? Kane turns his sights to Jericho, who quickly escapes the ring as Kane sets his pyro off to finish the show, as we're left wondering how the Tag Team Champions can ever co-exist again?

Tune into All Star Wrestling next week. Ten matches every week!

Welcome back to All Star Wrestling - results from October 19, 2012

World Title - Sheamus (27/1/12)
Intercontinental Title - Damian Sandow (14/9/12)
Tag Team Titles – Kane & John Cena (7/9/12)
European Title - Ryback (12/10/12)
Legends Title - Kane (10/8/12)

This is the go home show before Battle Royal PPV next week, and we start with Triple H making his way to the ring with a mic.

Triple H starts by saying it seems like a lifetime ago when he won the Battle Royal match in 1998 and 2001; but he can still get the job done. He talks himself up as the only five time World Champion in All Star Wrestling history. He recaps that the last time he was World Champion, he lost it to Sheamus at Resolution back in January. That tells him that no one can get the job done. Still, he is a benevolent man. Maybe there is someone else that can win Battle Royal next week and become the number one contender for the World Title. But he doubts it. Triple H sends out an open invitation to an over the top rope match later tonight. If there is anyone who can beat Triple H by throwing him over the top rope with both feet touching the floor, they get automatic entry into one of the last few spots in the Battle Royal match next week.

But first there is other business to take care of. Triple H says he hasn't forgotten that it was John Cena and Kane who cost him his Legends Title. While tonight Kane defends that title against Chris Jericho; he feels Cena needs something as well.

After last week, there is still no clear cut #1 contender for the Tag Team Titles. So it's going to go down like this. Christopher Daniels & Justin Gabriel are in the Tag Team Titles match at Battle Royal. Kassius Ohno & Antonio Cesaro are in the Tag Team Titles match at Battle Royal. And if Kurt Angle & Tyson Kidd can win their match tonight, they to will be in the Tag Team Titles match at Battle Royal.

And just to keep John Cena on his toes, tonight he will face one of his opponents at Battle Royal, later tonight.

Triple H says he looks forward to seeing who has the grapefruits to take him on later tonight.

Alberto Del Rio comes out as Triple H is leaving, and says Triple H thinks he is so special having his own invitation match later tonight, but next week Alberto is going to win the Battle Royal match and go on to become the ASW World Champion. So tonight, he extends the same challenge. Who can throw Alberto over the top rope?

This brings out Big Show, as Alberto looks concerned. Big Show steps over the top rope into the ring and grabs Alberto as he tries to escape. Big Show lifts Alberto over his head and throws him to the floor.

Big Show bt Alberto Del Rio After the match, Big Show tells Alberto he has no chance of winning Battle Royal, and he should consider himself lucky Show doesn't come down there and beat him so bad he can't even compete next week. Show reminds everyone his very first match was in the Battle Royal, and he won it back in 1995, and did it again in 1996. He says it has been a long time between drinks, but it's time he did what he did best. And that's punishing people and being a giant. Next week, he guarantees he will win the Battle Royal.

Backstage, Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd are saying it doesn't matter who they have to face tonight. They can overcome any team as long as they're on the same page. Tyson says then they can go on to win the Tag Team Titles at Battle Royal. Angle agrees, saying Kane & John Cena are freaking dysfunctional.

Dean Ambrose bt Heath Slater

Damian Sandow comes to the ring to say he accepts Kofi Kingston's challenge for the Intercontinental Title at Battle Royal. In fact, they don't need to wait until then. Since Daniel Bryan is so keen to get his hands on Sheamus, let's make it a tag team match. Sandow & Bryan V Kofi & Sheamus. You're welcome.

Derrick Bateman comes to the ring dressed in red white and blue to the rune of Real American. He is followed to the ring by Seth Rollins and the match to decide the #1 contender for the European Title is up next.

Bateman tries to use his power game, but Rollins capitalises with his speed and agility, eventually hitting the blackout for the win and the shot at the European Title next week at Battle Royal. After the match, Ryback comes out and destroys both Rollins and Bateman.

Seth Rollins bt Derrick Bateman

Backstage, Triple H runs into Jeff Hardy and grants him another shot at the Legends Title next week at Battle Royal, regardless of who wins the match tonight between Kane and Chris Jericho.

Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger come to the ring and say they are sick of being disrespected and under-utilised. They challenge any two men in the back who are in the Battle Royal match so they can see first-hand what they can expect next week. Dolph Ziggler and Austin Aries answer the challenge.

Aries and Ziggler are totally incompatible as a team, and are no match for the teamwork of Swagger and McIntyre. The match ends when Ziggler walks out on Aries as he tries to make a tag and Aries walks into the future shock DDT from McIntyre who makes the pin.

Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger bt Dolph Ziggler & Austin Aries

Triple H is backstage wondering aloud who can possibly be left to enter the Battle Royal by beating him tonight. He talks about Santino, Otunga and Zack Ryder, before Wade Barrett enters the shot. Barrett tells Triple H he respects him and considers him his biggest threat in winning next week. He then tells Triple H to be very careful what he wishes for.

John Cena comes to the ring and wonders just who out of his four opponents next week will he have to beat the hell of tonight. Justin Gabriel enters the ring, accompanied by Christopher Daniels. We see a recap of Kane attacking Cena last week and are reminded the Tag Team champs are far from being on the same page.

Cena and Gabriel go back and forth, with Gabriel getting in some good offensive moves, before Cena's power game takes the advantage. Cena hits the shoulder blocks and the five knuckle shuffle, before lifting Gabriel up for the Attitude Adjustment. As he does, Kane's music hits and he makes his way to the ring telling Cena he is sorry about last week. Cena drops Gabriel to his feet as he argues with Kane. Gabriel slides behind Cena and rolls him for the schoolboy pin.

Justin Gabriel bt John Cena After the match, Cena looks pissed at Gabriel, but then smiles before turning his wrath towards Kane, telling him to watch his back later tonight.

Backstage, CM Punk is being interviewed, alongside Colt Cabana, and saying how Colt will be his insurance policy at Battle Royal. Punk says he should have been World Champion a long time ago, but he kept getting thrown into triple threat matches instead of getting his one on one shot against Sheamus. As he goes to finish up, he is accidentally interrupted by Trent Barreta walking into his shot. Punk asks Trent what the hell he thinks he is doing, and why he is disrespecting him. Trent is apologetic before walking off.

Kurt Angle and Tyson Kidd are in the ring awaiting their opponents who they must beat to get into the Tag Team Titles match at Battle Royal. Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno come down the ramp, and they are their opponents tonight.

Angle and Cesaro start off and put together a clinic of amateur wrestling moves, before Cesaro makes the tag and Ohno tries the power game. Angle also makes the tag and Tyson uses his speed and agility to get the better of Ohno. Tyson tries to put Kassius in the sharpshooter, but Ohno powers out and makes the tag. Tyson nails Cesaro with a number of missile drop kicks before again going for the sharpshooter. Cesaro spins out of the hold, tossing Tyson to the corner where Angle tags himself in. Cesaro dominates Angle early on during this exchange, and sets him up for the Gotch Neutraliser, but Angle counters by slipping behind Cesaro and nails him with three German suplexes. Cesaro stumbles over to make the tag. Ohno goes for a clothesline, which Angle ducks, and Tyson connects with a kick to the head of Ohno behind the referee's back. Ohno stumbles back to the middle of the ring and walks into the Olympic Slam. Angle makes the cover. 1 2 3

Kurt Angle & Tyson Kidd bt Antonio Cesaro & Kassius Ohno After the match, Ohno tries to apologise to Cesaro who just walks out, leaving Ohno in the ring.

Triple H makes his way to the ring, and announces that at Battle Royal next week it will be John Cena & Kane V Justin Gabriel & Christopher Daniels V Kassius Ohno & Antonio Cesario V Kurt Angle & Tyson Kidd for the Tag Team Titles. He goes on to wish Kane & Cena good luck, before being interrupted by CM Punk.

Punk asks Triple H if he really has that much stroke around here, as he is demanding a match tonight. Punk talks about how Trent Barreta interrupted his interview earlier tonight. Triple H says just like CM Punk is interrupting him now? Punk says now is not the time for irony. Now is clobbering time, and he demands Trent Barreta come to the ring and take his medicine like a man.

Trent Barreta makes his way down the ramp, looking apprehensive, and is attacked from behind by Colt Cabana. Colt throws him into the ring where CM Punk immediately hits him with the GTS and the cover.

CM Punk bt Trent Barreta After the match, Punk and Colt toss Trent over the top rope, indicating this is what they will do at Battle Royal next week.

Backstage, Big Show is talking himself up with Bully Ray, saying he is going to win Battle Royal. Bully tells Show he knows he can dominate, but if it comes down to the two of them, he knows what he needs to do. Show tells Ray it's cool - it's every man for himself out there; when Titus O'Neil walks into the shot. Show and Ray tell Titus to take his rookie no good ass and go home - he has no business being here. Titus is joined by Del Rio, Swagger, McIntyre, Chavo Guerrero and Richie Steamboat; and they all combine to attack Big Show. Bully Ray leaves yelling back to Big Show to remember, it's every man for himself.

Chris Jericho comes to the ring for his Legends Title opportunity. Kane comes to the ring and this title match is next.

Chris Jericho tries to use his technical ability to overcome Kane, but gets knocked down on each occasion by the power of Kane. Kane knock Jericho down with a chokeslam and goes for a cover. 1 2 Jericho kicks out. Kane picks up Jericho by the throat and is looking for a chokeslam, but Jericho elbows his way out of it, and hits a chop to the back of Kane's knee causing the big red machine to drop down to the mat. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Kane powers out, tossing Jericho into the corner. Kane stalks Jericho and unloads with some knife edge chops to Jericho's chest. Kane places Jericho onto the top rope, and looks to be setting him up for a suplex when John Cena's music hits. Kane looks to the entrance, but Cena is nowhere in sight. Jericho hits a bulldog from the top rope, levelling Kane. Jericho follows up with the lionsault and hooks the leg and makes the cover. 1 2 3 We have a new Legends Champion.

Chris Jericho bt Kane to win the Legends Title. After the match, Jericho grabs the belt and races up the ramp before Kane can get to his feet. As Kane recovers, Cena makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. Kane looks for a chokeslam, but Cena ducks it and lifts Kane up to hit an Attitude Adjustment. Cena does the You Can't See Me gesture to Kane and leaves the ring, as we wonder how the hell are they going to co-exist against three other teams in the tag Team Title match at Battle Royal next week.

Triple H comes to the ring and says he's though long and hard about who could possibly be his opponent tonight. He wonders if Goldust is going to make a return. He says he even called Billy Gunn and Road Dogg to see if they could come to the arena just to make sure they had a match, but they're both out of town and just waiting for the Old School pay per view to roll around again in April. He says he thought maybe Leo Kruger wanted to make a name for himself, but Kruger assured him his somewhat cryptic message last week already entered him into the match. So that only leaves one man who may be able to get the job done.

Triple H calls out Brodus Clay. He tells Brodus he remembers when he was an animal and not just a comedy act. He tells Brodus he is going to kick his ass, but just once he wants to see the old Brodus again.

As Triple H waits, looking at the top of the ramp, a different entrance theme hits.

And out comes Mark Henry, making his long awaited return to ASW. Mark Henry hasn't been seen since the Thunder Road PPV in June, when he lost to Triple H in a Legends Title match.
Triple H meets Henry with a barrage of punches and forearms, forcing Henry against the ropes. Triple H tries to lift Henry's leg up to get him over, but is swatted down by Henry. Henry stalks Triple H and lifts him up off the canvas. Henry lifts him up over his head and goes to throw him out, but instead power slams him to the canvas. Henry is screaming at Triple H saying he hasn't forgotten Thunder Road. Henry backs into the ropes, and launches himself for a splash on Triple H's ribs. Triple H writhes in pain and tries to roll under the bottom rope but is topped by Henry. Mark Henry drags Triple H back into the ring, and lifts him up again. This time he walks over to the edge of the ropes and throws Triple H over the top onto the concrete floor. Henry continues to scream at Triple H, telling him he will see him next week, and he is going to win the Battle Royal match.

Mark Henry bt Triple H

We see a shot of the parking lot, where Kane seems to be confronting John Cena. As we zoom in, we can overhear Kane saying it is about time that Cena rose above hate.....

Damian Sandow and Daniel Bryan are out first; followed by Sheamus and Kofi Kingston, and our main event is next.

Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston start off, with both using their mat skills to try to gain the upper hand. Bryan gets Kofi down on the mat and is looking to tie his legs up underneath the ropes before jumping off the bottom rope onto Kofi's calves. Kofi rolls away in agony and Sheamus tags himself in. Sheamus overpowers Bryan and gets him ties up in the ropes and hits the ten forearm shots to the chest. Bryan staggers across the ring and Sheamus nails him with a clothesline. Sheamus goes to pick Bryan up but Bryan jumps up onto Sheamus and is looking for the guillotine choke hold. Sheamus carries Bryan over to his corner so Kofi can make the tag, but Bryan refuses to let go. Kofi unleashes a series of kicks against Bryan to force him to break the hold. Kofi continues the assault, knocking Bryan down to the mat and going for a cover, but Bryan kicks out on the one. He races over to the corner to make the tag to Sandow. Sandow ducks a clothesline, before hitting one of his own. As Kofi gets up, Sandow goes on the attack with high knees, forcing Kofi against the ropes. Sandow whips him across the ring and catches him with another high knee, dropping Kofi to the canvas. Sandow then follows up with the elbow of disdain. He goes for a cover, but Sheamus comes in to break it up.

This brings Bryan back in and he goes after Sheamus and they spill through the ropes onto the floor, as Kofi gets back up and goes for Trouble in Paradise from out of nowhere. Sandow ducks it and Kofi walks back into the straight jacket neck breaker. Daniel Bryan keeps Sheamus out of the ring, as Sandow makes the cover. 1 2 3

Daniel Bryan & Damian Sandow bt Sheamus & Kofi Kingston After the match as Sandow celebrates in the ring, Bryan walks straight into a Brogue Kick on the ramp. Sheamus raises his the World Title over his head in triumph as ASW goes off the air.

Who will be victorious this year and go on to have a shot at the World Title at Supercard on December 28?

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring for his European Title shot. He is followed by Ryback. Seth goes for a lot of kicks and high knees but is swatted down time and time again by Ryback. Seth looks to chop Ryback down at the knees, and at one stage gets Ryback onto one leg. However, Ryback uses his power game to recover and take Rollins out with a clothesline. Ryback throws Rollins into the ropes and hits a vicious sidewalk slam. Ryback picks up Seth and hits a running power bomb, before lifting him up once more for Shell Shocked. Ryback hits his finisher and the referee makes the count.

Ryback bt Seth Rollins to retain teh European Title

Backstage we see Triple H arrive at the arena, to be greeted silently by Mark Henry. We see a recap of Mark Henry beating Triple H last week.

Sheamus is interviewed backstage about his match with Daniel Bryan tonight. Sheamus says he has already beaten Bryan in triple threat matches this year for the World Title so it has to be easier one on one. Sheamus runs through the list of people he has beaten since winning the World Title from Triple H at Resolution in January. The list is Wade Barrett, Triple H, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, and Dolph Ziggler.

Kofi Kingston comes to the ring, followed by Damian Sandow. Kofi goes on the offensive early, knocking Sandow down and going for quick covers which Sandow kicks out of. Sandow recovers to push Kofi against the ropes and knock down with European uppercuts, but Kofi bounces back to his feet and clotheslines Sandow down. Kofi hits the boom drop and goes for a quick cover. Sandow kicks out on two. Kofi looks for Trouble in Paradise but Sandow ducks out of the way and hits a swinging neck breaker to knock Kofi down. Sandow follows up with the Elbow of Disdain, and goes for a cover, but this time Kofi kicks out. Kofi gets in some more elbows and kicks, forcing Sandow onto the ropes. Sandow battles his way out though, and throws Kofi into the ropes and catches him on the rebound with another European Uppercut. Sandow catches Kofi with the straightjacket neck breaker and makes the cover. 1 2 3

Damian Sandow bt Kofi Kingston to retain the Intercontinental Title
Backstage, we see Titus O'Neil, Chavo Guerrero, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre talking about taking about Big Show in the Battle Royal match. The camera pans back to see Leo Kruger looking on, smiling and looking a little deranged...

We cut to Trent Barreta and Richie Steamboat talking about how they are the future, and how CM Punk called out Barreta last week. Barreta talks about Colt Cabana being an insurance policy, and says tonight he will need to pay a premium.

Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno come to the ring first for the four way Tag Titles match. Out next are Justin Gabriel and Christopher Daniels; followed by Tyson Kidd and then Kurt Angle. Kane then makes his way to the ring, followed by John Cena.
Kane and Cesaro start this one off. We are reminded that Kane or Cena don't have to be pinned to lose the match, and that they have been so dysfunctional lately, that it is likely we will see new Tag Champs tonight. Cesaro locls Kane up and hits some shots to the chest before making the tag to Ohno who brutalises Kane with hard shots, forcing him into the corner, where Angle makes the blind tag. Angle goes after Ohno, and catches him in the ropes. he pulls Ohno away from the ropes and hits a German Suplex. Angle holds on and makes it a second and a third, before Ohno can wriggle out of the hold and make a tag to Christopher Daniels. Jack Swagger walks in and says he is the only true All American American. Triple H tells them they are both nuts and leaves. As Bateman and Swagger argue, we pan back to see Brodus Clay watching on. Brodus doesn't look like he's in the mood for dancing. He comes up to Swagger and Bateman and tells them he is in the match, and They Do Know That!!

Jeff Hardy is in the ring first, followed by Chris Jericho for the Legends Title match. Hardy gets the upper hand early but tries to go the top rope to early, and Jericho moves out of the way of the Swanton Bomb. Jericho tries to get Hardy in the Walls of Jericho, but Hardy makes his way to the ropes and the hold is broken. Hardy makes a comeback, nailing Jericho with a series of elbows and kicks, forcing Jericho into the ropes. Hardy whips Jericho into the ropes and follows up with a kick to the gut. Chris Jericho bt Jeff Hardy to retain the Legends Title. After the match, Jericho gets a mic and tells the crowd that he is the best at what he does, and no one can beat him for the Legends Title. Jericho says everyone else is too old, too fat or too slow. As he drops the mic and starts to leave the ring, Sting's music hits, and the Icon makes his way to the top of the ramp. Jericho looks like he has seen a ghost as Sting returns to ASW for the first time since April, when he beat Mick Foley at OLD SCHOOL.

Backstage, Joey Ryan, Harry Smith and Heath Slater are talking strategy for the Battle Royal match. It seems they may have formed an alliance for tonight.

Sting is interviewed in the back and asked why he came back to ASW. Sting says he has never won a title here, but if there was ever a title made for him it is the Legends Title, and Chris Jericho's days are numbered.

Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to a chorus of YES chants from the crowd. Sheamus follows and the World Title match is next.
Bryan looks for the test of strength to start but is easily overpowered by Sheamus. Sheamus knocks Bryan to the mat, and steps back as Bryan looks more determined than ever. Bryan goes for the test of strength again, but this time kicks at Sheamus' knees, knocking the champion to the mat and going for a quick cover. Sheamus powers out at one, sending Bryan flying across the ring. Sheamus is stuck in the middle of the ring and can't make his way to the ropes, but refuses to tap out. Sheamus buckles down to one knee, as the referee raises his arm and it drops once. Bryan cinches in the hold tighter and Sheamus' arm drops for a second time. Sheamus drops to the mat as Bryan keeps the hold locked tight, and the referee hold Sheamus' arm up for a third time. Daniel Bryan makes his way up the ramp and backstage, where he is asked if he has a preference now on who wins the Battle Royal. Bryan says it doesn't matter, as he will be the World Champion forever and ever and ever.

The bell rings and the rules of the Battle Royal match are explained. Two men will start, and another 28 will enter, one every two minutes. Participants are eliminated when they are thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. The last man in the ring will become the #1 contender for the World Title at Supercard on December 28.
We start off with Chavo Guerrero making his way to the ring. He is followed by Harry Smith and we are reminded about the animosity between these two as former tag team champions try to make it on their own.

They lock up and Smith gets Chavo in a side head lock. Chavo pushes him into the ropes and follows, trying to quickly knock Harry over the top rope with a clothesline, but doesn't have enough momentum. Harry pushes Chavo to the mat, and hits him with a high knee drop. Harry picks up Chavo and throws him in the corner and tries to lift him up onto the ropes. Chavo counters with forearm shots, eventually pushing Smith out of the corner, and Chavo escapes.

They are joined now by Dean Ambrose Ambrose goes after both men, with a flurry of punches and elbows, before turning his full attention to Harry. Chavo tries to help Ambrose lift Harry up, but Ambrose knocks him out the way and Chavo falls back to the mat. Harry kicks Ambrose down, as Heath Slater makes his way to the ring.

Slater goes on the attack on Ambrose, and we are reminded they had some words last week. Slater throws Ambrose into the clutches of Chavo, who nails him with a belly to belly suplex. Samoa Joe is the next entrant, and he comes in to clean house. Joe knocks Chavo and Slater to the mat and then hits a running clothesline on Harry Smith, who falls over the top rope and to the floor. Harry Smith is the first man eliminated. Joe turns his attention to Chavo, as Slater and Ambrose lock up in the corner.

The next man in is Richie Steamboat who works with Slater to try to lift Ambrose up onto the ropes. Ambrose powers out of it, leaving both men on the mat, and then assists Joe with attacking Chavo. Joe and Ambrose combine to toss Chavo out of the ring. Chavo Guerrero is eliminated.

As Chavo makes his way to the back, Trent Barreta comes racing to the ring and assists his tag partner Steamboat with attacking Slater, while Joe and Ambrose are now locked up. Baretta and Steamboat double team Slater with missile drop kicks, knocking him over the top rope and onto the floor. Heath Slater is eliminated. Barreta and Steamboat square off against Ambrose and Joe, before Ambrose turns on Joe and all three gang up on the Samoan submission machine. The music of Alberto Del Rio hits and he comes in to join the assault on Joe. The four on one is eventually too much for Samoa Joe, and he is thrown over the top rope by all four men. Samoa Joe is eliminated.

Alberto turns his attention to Barreta and Steamboat, knocking them both to the floor with powerful knife edge shots to the chest while Ambrose looks on. The ninth man to enter the match is AJ Styles making his long awaited return to ASW. AJ hits a missile drop kick on Alberto who gets tangles up in the ropes. AJ hits the Pele kick on Ambrose knocking him to the mat, before going back to work on Alberto, with help from Barreta and Steamboat. The next man in is Jack Swagger who fights off Alberto's attackers and frees him from the ropes. Alberto and Swagger combine to knock AJ down, and then knock Barreta and Steamboat out with vicious clotheslines over the top rope. Trent Barreta is eliminated. Richie Steamboat is eliminated

Next in the ring is Leo Kruger, who walks over the top rope and simply sits in the corner, watching the action around him. Swagger and Del Rio double team AJ, and lift him up onto the turnbuckle, but AJ fights out, kicking Del Rio to the mat before hitting a bulldog off the top rope onto Swagger. AJ confronts Kruger in the corner, while the other two are on the mat, but is blindsided by Dean Ambrose who lifts AJ up and over the top rope to the floor. AJ Styles is eliminated

Ambrose goes to work on Jack Swagger, as we now see the long awaited return of Cody Rhodes. Cody looks at Kruger in the corner, and decides Alberto would be a more suitable target. Cody and Del Rio lock up, as Swagger starts to overpower Ambrose on the other side of the ring. Kruger continues to watch the action without getting involved.
The next man in is Bully Ray who goes straight over to Kruger and lifts him to his feet. Bully slaps Kruger a couple of times, before the giant South African lifts Bully up over his head. Bully is saved when Swagger and Ambrose run into Kruger accidentally, causing him to drop to his knees and release Bully Ray. Titus O'Neil is in next and tries to capitalise on the wounded Bully Ray, as we recall Titus saying he was out for revenge on Bully for the attacks on D-Von and Percy Watson a few weeks back.

Drew McIntyre is next in and the ring is starting to fill up. We currently have Ambrose, Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kruger, Bully Ray, Titus and McIntyre. Drew teams up with Swagger to try to eliminate Del Rio, but Alberto survives and slithers over to the other side of the ring. Swagger and McIntyre turn their attention to helping Titus O'Neil eliminate Bully Ray, and they have him up on the ropes when Brodus Clay comes in. Brodus assists them eliminate Bully Ray. Bully Ray is eliminated.

Brodus then double crosses Swagger and McIntyre, stiff arm clotheslines take them both out. Drew McIntyre is eliminated. Jack Swagger is eliminated. Joey Ryan is next in but has the misfortunate to run straight into Brodus Clay who lifts him up and eliminates him before he can get in any offence. Joey Ryan is eliminated.

The next man in is Big Show who wastes no time, picking up a tiring Ambrose and tossing him over the top rope. Dean Ambrose is eliminated after being in the ring for 31 minutes. Show keeps the carnage going, attacking Cody Rhodes from behind, and ending his match. Cody Rhodes is eliminated. We are down to Big Show, Brodus Clay, Leo Kruger, Alberto Del Rio and Titus O'Neil. Entry #19 is James Storm who comes to the ring looking apprehensive, and scopes his options before nailing Leo Kruger with the last call superkick, straight over the top rope. Leo Kruger is eliminated. Storm goes to do the same to Big Show, but his leg is caught and he is thrown to the mat as the music of Triple H plays and the five time former World Champion gets in the match.

Triple H teams with Brodus, Storm and Titus in trying to get Big Show up onto the ropes as Alberto watches on. Alberto sneakily attacks Titus from behind, scooping him up and over. Titus O'Neil is eliminated. As Titus leaves, he is passed on the ramp by the veteran William Regal. Regal joins in on the attack on Big Show, but Show sprawls everyone down to the mat. Show and Del Rio take Storm apart, but everyone stops as the music for the next entrant hits. It's Mick Foley! Foley comes into the ring and goes after Del Rio, saving Storm from the double team assault. It's mayhem again as the ring fills up with the entrance of Austin Aries. Aries, Storm and Foley combine to eliminate Alberto Del Rio, whose 32 minutes is now the longest in the match. Alberto Del Rio is eliminated.

Kane's music hits and everyone stops in the middle of the ring. Kane however is not a participant in the match, and comes through the crowd to surprise Triple H from behind on the ring apron. Kane chokeslams Triple H over the top rope and onto the floor. Triple H is eliminated and the next man in is actually the return of The Miz.

Triple H and Kane battle back through the crowd as The Miz goes after Mick Foley. Next out is CM Punk who also goes after Foley. Regal gets involved, and Foley is thrown out of the ring and onto the floor. Mick Foley is eliminated.

Punk turns on Regal and sets him up for the GTS. Instead of hitting the move, he puts Regal in an airplane spin and tosses him out to the floor. William Regal is eliminated just as Colt Cabana comes in, and we are reminded Cabana is CM Punk's insurance policy. Punk and Colt combine to eliminate James Storm, before turning their attention to Brodus Clay and Big Show who have been locked in a power struggle for the last few minutes. James Storm is eliminated.

Henry assists Punk and Cabana lift Brodus up to the top rope. Big Show launches himself at the scrum on the top rope, knocking Brodus, Punk and Colt to the floor. Brodus Clay, CM Punk and Colt Cabana are all eliminated. Punk looks pissed as he gets up on the ring apron, trying to taunt Big Show, but is swatted down by a WMD from Show. The 28th entrant is Derrick Bateman. Bateman shapes up to Mark Henry but is quickly knocked down to the mat. Henry turns his attention to Aries, and pushes him into the ropes. Henry charges at Aries, who pulls down on the top rope, causing Henry to topple over and onto the floor.Mark Henry is eliminated. Henry gets up and onto the ring apron, reaching over to grab Aries and lift him up. Bateman helps complete the demise of Aries. Austin Aries is eliminated .

Wade Barrett comes to the ring and sizes up Show and Bateman. He gestures to Bateman that they should team up to take out Big Show, but then double crosses Bateman and goes on the attack with high knees and European uppercuts, forcing Bateman against the ropes. Show goes to charge at both of them, but Barrett ducks just in time, and Show knocks Bateman out of the ring. Derrick Bateman is eliminated.

Barrett and Show size each other up, as the music of the 30th and final entrant plays, and Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. Ziggler takes an age to enter the ring, as he teases getting in before removing himself to the apron on several occasions. Barrett eventually lifts Ziggler in over the top rope and throws him to Show who knocks Ziggler out with the WMD. Show lifts Ziggler's lifeless body from the canvas and chokeslams him over the top rope. Dolph Ziggler is eliminated.

Show turns his attention to Barrett, who ducks another WMD attempt, before pushing Show against the ropes. Barrett tries to lift Show's leg up onto the ropes, but is stopped by Show who laughs at Barrett, and kicks him to the mat. Show lifts Barrett up over his head, but Barrett fights out of it with a series of elbows. Both men trade blows in the middle of the ring. Barrett ducks a clothesline, and kicks Show against the ropes. Barrett charges at Show and hits a savage clothesline, knocking Show over the top rope, but Show hangs on to the top rope to stop himself dropping to the floor. Barrett launches himself back into the ropes and kicks Show's hand off the ropes, and he tumbles to the floor. Big Show is eliminated.

Big Show lasted 35 minutes in the match, longer than any other competitor, but the winner of the Battle Royal match is Wade Barrett.
