Ty's from North Dakota, & I don't think the movie is a very good interpretation of what people form ND are actually like, that accent is fucking ridiculous, I have never met anyone from ND that talks like that at all.

I got asked a shit ton if I said "Ya sure, ya betcha" after that movie came out. Yeah you could say I'm not a fan.

I prefer "The Big Lebowski" as far as Coen Bros. flicks are concerned. Never watched Fargo but what little bit I heard they sound like Jami Gertz on "Still Standing". Got on my nerves.

I think its an decent movie, but its gets a lot of hype because it gets lumped in with the really good films the Coens have made

It's got the most overt conclusion of any Coens film I can think of, though I can understand why you'd dislike it if it's responsible for the persecution of your people.

How does Miller's Crossing end again? I'm trying to remember but can only see Gabriel Byrne getting punched in the face by people and Albert Finnie unloading on the goons while Danny Boy plays in the background.

Buscemi made Fargo enjoyable for me but that whole "oh ya betcha" did get on my tits after a few seconds.
