As we all know Sin Cara is currently suspended by the WWE for 30 days by violating there wellness policy. But prior to Sin Cara's WWE debut, it looked like the WWE was hyping up Sin Cara as "Rey Mysterio Verison II". Much like the E tried to push former WWE and international superstar the Ultimo Dragon.

Back when the WWE "had" a Crusierweight division. The E was searching to build up a Rey Mysterio V.2 at the time who happened to be Ultimo Dragon. But due to how things were/are ran in the WWE. Ultimo Dragon requested a release from the company. Now as for Sin Cara after his suspendion is over with, he could be done in the WWE.

Following in the footsteps of Rey Mysterio in the WWE is very difficult! Just look at the short-lived WWE career of Low Ki aka Kaval. Pretty much for all the WWE cruiserweights. It's time to bring back to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship for that division to live on once again!

...And where is Yoshi Tatsu anyways??

I don't remember Ultimo Dragon having that long of an undefeated streak. He also wasn't pushed to the length which Mistico was, he didn't make as many appearences on Pay-Per-View, like say, being pushed for a large portion of the Smackdown Money in The Bank match. Mistico was publicly pushed as an international sensation - as was Asai, but he wasn't publicized to the desperate length WWE did with Mistico.

As for the halt of his push - when did Ultimo Dragon get caught for steroids? He didn't, he just didn't get over as well as WWE had hoped. Mistico was over, he is over, the reaction to his moves at MITB were loud and supportive, Dragon never got that unless he hit the Asai Moonsault.

Dragon and Mistico are two completely different cases in isolation it seems. As for the Cruiserweight division - there are threads made about this every week and its always the same answer. Instead of making a thread, go back a page or two and read the responses to the same proposition.

Cruiserweight division just won't work in the WWE. It isolates people to that division and never allows them to break free. Two former WWE Cruiserweight/Light-Weight Champions broke out - Rey Mysterio and Christian. The success rate is so poor, and towards the end the Cruiserweight division became a joke and it has no credibility left in the WWE.

Yoshi Tatsu still makes spariodic appearences on NXT and he wrestled on Superstars two weeks ago.

First you point out the obvious that the WWE has an issue pushing smaller wrestlers.

Then you say how Sin Cara is getting the "Ultimo Dragon Treatment"

Everyone thinks that Sin Cara was brought in to replace Rey Mysterio.

Although it may appear that way, we all know you cannot replace a current superstar with someone new. No matter how hard the WWE or any company has tried they haven't been able to recreate anything that has already happened, it fails over and over again.

If Sin Cara returns he can continue on his path of botched moves, and parts of his matches being retaped. Do I find him entertaining, yes. Do I think he could ever be better than Rey Mysterio, No. Could he replace Rey Mysterio as a masked high flyer, in theory yes, but actually replace Rey Mysterio? Love him or hate him no one will ever be able to replace him.

As for a Cruiser Weight Division or title, read the first part of my post, then remember that they have enough problems with the current Tag Team, IC, and US Title Divisions then build a bridge and get over it. No MORE TITLES

I can see a lot of similarities between them. Dragon's entrance at WM20 definitely reminds me of Cara.

Sin Cara, personally, sparks an interest in me, but he will never make it far in the WWE whether he is brought back or not. Being HHH's first recruitment doesn't mean shit. You can tell how hard for him it is to adjust to WWE's style.

In defense of Sin Cara his botched moves are because his rivals do not know how to wrestle his style. The WWE should have signed a few guys from CMLL or Japan to work with while he taught his storyline rival how to execute his spots. In Mexico and Japan guys work for weeks choreographing a wrestling sequence so it looks great for the public.

If Sin Cara was going to have a program with Shamus it was the WWE's responsibility to have both guys practice spots in a match. They have all the guys go over spots for mania why not for a guy your trying to build up. Its to bad he is going to buried or released because the fact is he is a great performer, no questions about. If you disagree then you haven't seen enough tapes of him. Theres a reason why the WWE chased his for 2-3 years to sign.

Low Ki isn't there anymore because he's a mark for himself. Always has been. He had problems in ROH, TNA, and WWE because he doesn't want to job. So let's not even act like it was at all WWE's fault there.

As for "ultimo dragon treatment"? No. Cara is a bigger international star than Ultimo was being that Cara's drawing ability in Mexico is similar to that of Cena's in the US. Cara was pushed a lot harder.

Not everything in wrestling has to have a similar previous instance. Some things just are the way they are. Sin Cara was a huge star in mexico, was pushed here, fucked it up by doing drugs. That's the story.

I think it is a reasonable comparison. Both guys were booked as being able to do things that no one else on the roster could do; no one else on the roster had an aura of mystique they did (not talking actually helped their characters); and you never knew what to expect in their matches.. And both landed (literally) on their faces a few times in the process.

But I am going to have to agree with the others when they said that Sin Cara was supposed to be a much, much bigger deal and was pushed as so.

I'm sorry, I thought you said that Low Ki didnt stay in WWE because he was a mark for himself. You must've meant that he left because they were doing absolutely nothing with him and giving him the "MVP" treatment. He, just like MVP, doesnt have the WWE 'bug' and would be happy wrestling anywhere else as long as hes utilized properly.

Oh silly me I must've read wrong again, you implied that he was just "doing drugs". I'm pretty sure you forgot to specify that there was a miscommunication problem and as a result he was given a substance, injected by a doctor, that presented as anabolic steroids. It happened to Rey Mysterio too, and we know hes too professional to take roids. Must be a Mexico thing.

Well you can't blame Ultimo Dragon for living his dream by wrestling at MSG in NYC right? But that entrance slip was funny as hell though!

And no Sin Cara may be the first recruit by Triple H but not the last. Maybe Triple H and the WWE will begin searching for talent in Japan? Which is where this whole thing with Ultimo Dragon come's in to play. Yes CMLL is hot! But let us not sleep on those guys in the far east who MVP wrestles now on a daily basis.
