UWF: Mock Draft III

Two Worlds Collide

A capacity crowd in a massive arena. Everyone is buzzing in anticipation of the debut of SEI, Eric Bischoff's new "project" and a wrestling promotion that already boasts Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Steve "Sting" Borden among its top stars. Obviously, any developments would be eagerly welcomed, particularly those first few. Suddenly, Bischoff's music plays and the man himself emerges, his hair slightly long and dyed a deep black, a heavy golden belt reminiscent of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship slung over his right shoulder. He grins heavily as the crowd jeer and boo. He steps into the ring and pulls a microphone up to his mouth.

Eric Bischoff
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Eric Bischoff's Sports Entertainment International. The company where what I say, goes. Now, I'd like to tell you all the reasons why this will soon be the greatest wrestling promotion in history, but I've always been a strong believer that actions speak louder than words. This belt over my shoulder is none other than that SEI World Heavyweight Championship, an item soon to be synonymous with glory and greatness. Awarding this belt to a member of my roster should probably be a difficult process, but ultimately, it wasn't. People may think I'm some hard-lined businessman but I understand that unorthodox tactics work better than the obvious. So, without further ado, please welcome the first ever SEI World Heavyweight Champion, the icon, Sting!"

Sting's music plays and he rappels down from the ceiling directly into the ring, dressed in his typical black attire, covered in a heavy trench coat and sporting black and white face paint. He appears just as young as during his days in WCW feuding with the nWo, but considerably more toned. The fans aren't quite sure to react. They're excited to see one of their favourite superstars return in such a dramatic fashion, but the hated Bischoff's endorsement of him encourages doubt. Sting is passed a microphone from through the ropes and begins to stalk around the ring, looking into the crowd as he talks.

Sting
"First thing's first, I am honoured to be the first ever Sports Entertainment International World Heavyweight Champion. After all, who is a better man than me to lead this company? Who is a better man that, despite the fans refusal to accept to him, exceptional willingness to outcast him, became one of the, no, no, the greatest professional of all time. And I owe it all to this man, this man right here. After all, it was he that brought out the best in me. It was he who, using somewhat unorthodox methods, restored faith in me when you people had sucked it all out. And now, it's time for a new golden age in the wrestling, lead by the icon Sting, and the greatest wrestling personality of all time, Eric Bischoff. Although there is nothing left for me to accomplish, and no one else left for me to defeat..."

"If you smellll... what The Rock... is cooking!" bursts from the PA system and the crowd jump to their feet. The great one emerges from the ramp, looking similarly to his appearance during the Attitude Era of WWE, standing complete still, his nose up in the air and his eyes shut. The music dies down and everyone in the arena, even Sting and Bischoff, anticipate The Rock's words.

The Rock
"Finally... The Rock has come back to professional wrestling!"

"The staples centre, here in Los Angeles is sold out, you cannot get a ticket for love nor money. Good evening everyone, my name is Mike Tennay and it is my pleasure to welcome you to FPPW Impact, alongside me is none other than the fountain of wrestling knowledge good ol JR, Jim Ross (will be replaced by JBL if i get him)."

"Evening everyone and good god am i looking forward to whats gonna happen tonight,"

Mick Foleys music blares across the arena, and outcomes the walking hobo himself.

Tennay: "You think the GM could have dressed up for the occasion"
JR: "Why would he, Mrs. Foley's baby boy has worn that shirt everyday for the past 6 years and why would he change it for such an important event."

Mick gets in the ring and takes a microphone JB at ringside. Foley walks to the centre of the ring and is greated with chants of FOLEY,FOLEY,FOLEY!

Foley: "Thank you very much, but dont stop i want you all to keep expressing yourselves from now till the day that this industry is no more. Here at FPPW, the big decisions will be left down to the fans, well most of them anyway. I am here to explain how some of this will work. Here at FPPW, we have 3 titles. The FPPW Tag-team titles, the FPPW TV title and the FPPW Heavyweight title. At the moment all three are vacant, however in 5 weeks time we have our inaugural PPV FightNight. On this night all 3 titles will be on the line, and here's how people are gonna get a chance to vote. My first 8 picks in the draft will go into the torunament for the Heavyweight title. They will also be seeded in the order they are picked. The finals will be a triple threat match between the two superstars who get through their round and semi-final plus one of the elimanted superstars, voted for by you the fans. The TV title will be contested in a 8 man one-night tournament, those drafted 9-16 will be entered into that tournament. And finally, the tag-team titles. OMG, this is a gonna be a fun job. The opening match will be an over-the top rope battle royal. The last man standing will be the new tag-team champion and able to choose his partner. However it does not end there. After the finalists for the TV title have been decided the remaining 6 superstars will draw lots and be split into 3 teams, a 4-way TLC will then take place for the title's."

A huge cheer erupts through the crowd.

"Now ladies and gentlemen, i would like to introduce to you the man i have seeded number 1 in the Heavyweight title tournament, Bret "Hitman" Hart"

Is heel Sting (w/ Eric Bischoff) vs. face Rock genius or crap? I thought it was awesome but TWFS didn't even mention it.

It will be good just not sure how well they'll gel with each other. the rock is great on the mic but sting while being good on the mic will get burned in promo's and i think that sting is the better in the ring.

with rumors swirling that a battle of the purest elbow drops could be looming within TWFS Wrestling as randy savage could be picked 2nd overall, or perhaps heyman planning to present us with a david vs goliath battle by picking andre the giant, PAUL HEYMAN SHOCKS THE WORLD AND SELECTS THE NEXT BIG THING BROCK LESNAR.

by the way, in regards to sams picks, sting and the rock are great and you could do alot with them. i really like the idea of a heel sting. i was totally surprised that u picked sting tho. i was sure ud take savage.

Anyways... I will write down anyway.

The Show starts, Shane Mcmahon is heading towards the ring with a microphone in his hands. Shane is standing all alone in the ring. He puts the MIC close to his face and speaks, " I have sat at home and around the office and have thought about my next pick. I have spent countless hours".

Before shane could continue to go on, Stone Colds music hits, he is walking towards the ring with a fiery look in his eyes, he grabs the MIC off of shane and speaks " I should be the one making the pick, i was chosen to bring this company forward"

Shane Interrupts " Yes you were chosen to bring SPW off the charts. I have thought long and hard and spent countless hours thinking this over, and it has become very hard and trying to chose, but i came to the conclusion that my next pick should be"

Stone Cold interrupts once again,"I dont care what you have been doing" you hear the crowd chanting WHAT!!!, Stone Cold looks upset, he walks over to Shane kicks him in the mid section and gives him the stunner, as Stone Cold is about to inflict more damage the lights go out in the arena, The Macho Man is running to the aid of Shane. The Macho man enters the rings and starts delivering clothesline after clothesline, finally Stone Cold stays down and the Macho man makes his way to the Top Rope he is jumping off but before he hits the Elbow Drop Stone Cold rolls away and runs out of the ring and up the Ramp staring at the Macho Man and a beat up Shane trying to make it to his feet.

Shane grabs the Mic off the ground and starts to speak " Stone Cold you have not seen the last of me or the Macho Man, So here you have it, my next pick is none other than the man right in front of my face, the Macho Man Randy Savage."

My next pick is John Cena

Slyfox must be happy right now
What do you think Sly?
Colamania
you have 18 HOURS

Hogan and Cena, a good idea if you ask me. My guess is that, even though he might not have even read this thread yet, Sly just wet his pants. It should be entertaining and I'll be interested to see who is going to be the heel and who will be the face if they are going to feud. A face/face dynamic would definitely be pretty unique. One thing I have to say is that these two are fairly unpopular with the IWC, and so that may affect the outcome of the competition.

OK then, we need an extra member. There's only one condition - you must have at least 20 posts. I also have the right to decline whoever I want, so don't bitch if I tell you no.

Two Worlds Collide, Continued

The Rock paused for a moment, looking directly into the ring at Bischoff and the newly crowned Sports Entertainment International World Heavyweight Champion, Sting.

The Rock

"Now as for you, jabroni... there is one thing that "the icon" has not accomplished, one man that he is yet to beat. One event that is yet to take place. And that is: Sting, you have never gone one on one with the great one! Do you think that you impress The Rock? For all The Rock cares you can take that ten dollar belt, shine it up real nice, turn that sum' bitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass!"

In unison, the crowd begin chanting "Rocky! Rocky!". Bischoff and Sting are less impressed to say the least.

Sting
"You think you're tough, huh? Well why don't you come down here and say that to his face."

Bischoff tries to discourage Sting, but The Rock is already making his way down to the ring and before long is stepping through the ropes. The two legends get up close to each other and stare each other in the faces, Bischoff looking on anxiously. Sting slips the SEI Title off his shoulder before deliberately hitting his first punch on The Rock. The two exchange blows before The Rock hits Sting into the corner by "Laying The Smackdown" on him. Sting comes rushing out of the corner only to get caught in The Rock Bottom. He manages to elbow his way out of it and the two run in opposite directions before rebounding at each other from the ropes. The Rock catches Sting and delivers a vicious Spine Buster. He then proceeds to stand over Sting as the crowd anticipates the People's Elbow. Bischoff gets in The Rock's face, yelling at him and jabbing him with his finger. Out of nowhere, The Rock delivers a Rock Bottom on Bischoff, placing him on top of Sting, before delivering a double People's Elbow. The crowd are on their feet as The Rock retrieves the SEI title off the floor and poses with it on the top rope. He places it across an unmoving Sting's chest before leaving the ring.
