JDS finally defends his Heavyweight championship tonight. It won't be an easy title defense either considering his opponent made JDS's training partner look bad not once but twice. Mir is an animal and when he is motivated he is one of the absolute best Heavyweights in the world. Tonight could solidify him as one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time.

Bigfoot Silva looks to make an impact by facing former Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. Cain is looking to rebound after the beating he took at the hands of JDS. Silva is looking to prove he is still not an MMA freak show. Should be a good slugfest.

Nelson looks to rebound against Dave Herman. Herman is way out of his league in this one, but he usually puts on entertaining fights. Look for Big Country to get the KO won here and rub his belly.

SDR and Miocic will likely put on a striking show. Should be fun.

Mark Hunt will finally capture a Heavyweight title opportunity tonight. Only 60% sarcastic. Should be a fun fight though, since Struve always puts on a show and Hunt is a beast.

Hopefully Mayhem doesn't get his ass beat too fast and get fast tracked out of the UFC again. I can only hope Dolloway chokes his ass out slowly first. Barboza gets Varner, who has no business being anywhere near the UFC at this point. Volkmann will likely call out the president again in a borefest and then get the secret service called on him. In a perfect world Hardy and Ludwig will knock each other out tonight at the same time, Kinsbu will pick up a win, and Mike Brown will finally get cut.

Should be a great show, from top to bottom.
