This is Jericho in a landslide. Eaton was a decent wrestler, and I am happy that "Beautiful Bobby" got some love be making the top 256. But he was a tag specialist who jumped from team to team and never really carved a niche for himself. He's the poor man's Greg Valentine, who in himself was the poor man's Barry Windham.

Jericho is possibly the most complete wrestler in the world today. He's the 2nd coming of Bret Hart - a mat technician, a high-flyer, a brutal brawler. An entertaining face, a dispicable heel.

A match between Eaton in his prime vs Jericho in his (probably now, or 1999-2001) would be a very cool match to watch, but it endsin Jericho's favor 9999 times out of 10000.

And - just like a cat - the Canadian leaps upon the thread, bearing down on all of us with his love for Chris Jericho. I don't actually know who Bobby Eaton is, so I won't be voting. If I were, I'd vote for Jericho. "The second coming of Bret Hart"? I dunno. I can't remember how popular Sly said Bret Hart was. If the answer was "kind of", then sure.

I can't wait until all these people who I don't know are eliminated.

I loved watching Bobby Eaton wrestle but I can't vote him over Jericho. Jericho can use his aerial or ground attack to beat Eaton but Eaton won't go down easily.

Eaton isn't much good without Condrey or Lane next to him. He's part of the one of the best tag teams of all time, but he's not much alone. Jericho makes him look pathetic in this and it's all the Canadian.

Bobby Eaton is quite an underrated worker, but he's not going to win here. Even though he won the TV title, that is a low level title, and it doesn't compare to Jericho's singles career at all.

In a tournament of quality tag team workers, Eaton would do well, but here I think he'd just be outclassed as Jericho moves on to round 2.

Jericho, in a squash. Eaton was known as being a flier, before fliers were popular. That's about it. Jericho can do anything, and wrestle with anyone. As soon as Eaton climbs the turnbuckle, Jericho will run up and hit him with a massive Codebreaker. It won't be pretty.

Chris Jericho landslide victory right here. Chris Jericho is the complete package. Great brawler, mat wrestler, high flier, he can get his own home crowd to boo him. One of the most versatile wrestlers in the business who can do heel or face at the flip of a coin. His singles career is one of the most impressive there is. Most Intercontinental Championships, first Undisputed Champion and defeated The Rock and Stone Cold to do so and also a triple crown champion and a grandslam champion. He was succesful in tag team competition being a 3 time tag champion in WWF/E. A match with Bobby Eaton would result in Jericho winning but Eaton would be able to put up a fight for a little bit, but in the end Jericho's too good for him.

Vote Jericho.

Jericho would destroy Eaton. Jericho is better than Eaton in every single way. So I say Jericho would just beat the shit outta Eaton. Then he'd stop and showboat a while, beat the hell outta him again, then pin him with one foot on his chest.

Never been much of an Eaton fan. Never understood the appeal of him myself. I remember him from his tag days, and then ultimately as a Blue Blood with Regal and a baby Triple H, but I might be mixing the time lines in my old age.

Chris Jericho is phenomenal, and has been for nearly 15 years. Jericho isn't as great as his fans claim him to be, but he's certainly in an elite class. Jericho is like Shawn Michaels in my opinion, two fantastic workers, but career upper mid carders, nothing more, nothing less. That will be more then enough to beat the likes of Eaton.

Bobby Eaton is actually to me the poor mans Owen Hart. Chris Jericho to me is the Brother of Owen who was actually better than Owen. That is why I have to quite easily give to to Jericho here. Eaton is a bottom 200 wrestler, Jericho is a top 20.

Chris Jericho easily wins this match here. He is simply is a totally different league to Bobby Eaton. This year especially, Y2J has seemingly raised his game and in 2008 he won the World Title two times and had some decent feuds. The guy is a great wrestler, though not as good as the IWC says he is. He would easily pin Bobby here by using his finisher, the Codebreaker. One could say that Jericho's career is nowhere near finished, meaning he will probably still be in the main event for many years to come and hopefully he wins a lot more World Titles.

Which is more than what I can say for Eaton.

Walls of Jericho or Codebreaker and this one is over. Jericho has a longer list of "credentials" and I just personally think he is better.

Eaton was the man when, with Dennis Condrey, he was part of The Midnight Express during WCW's territory days. And, he is a personal favorite of mine. But, I can't deny the fact that Jericho has accomplished way more in professional wrestling and has been one of the few to have two primes (he is currently in his second). Also, the only chance Eaton would have to beat Jericho would be in WCW, and that still wouldn't be guaranteed. But, in TNA, WWE, or ECW, Jericho would roll over Eaton. Thus, Jericho FTW.
