WTF. All I hear from TNA fans is how original TNA is. Well I guess I haven't seen it. I won't go into detail becuase of the risk of this topic being shut down. But now they're making an all black faction called BET. Uh yeah we did that first it was called the Nation of Domination. I don't know if they're gimmick will be exactly the same as NOD, but it most likely will be. Come on TNA show me some originality.

The Angry Minority Gimmick has been done, done again, and then done once more. Its a tried and tested way to get heels over. Anti-American's, Black Power Gimmicks, they are all ways to get heels over, and they weren't pioneered by the WWE. They are generic Gimmicks. Now sure if they were doing an Undertaker Rip-Off you could have a go, but there is little that the WWE has done in the past, that someone, somewhere hasn’t done a variation of before.

Yeah you're right bro. WWE is doing it once more too, just without the faction part. They did it in ECW(The Gangstas) and in WCW(No Limit Soldiers). All I'm saying is that WWF did it first and that TNA prides themselves on being original, and if they're going to do this angle, it won't be original.

I totally agree with all of you guys. Tna not only rips off wwe's "superstars" but also they're gimmicks. Come on tna...

As if Vince´s ass or The undefeated Samoan submis....bulldozer is original. I would just be glad with this because of the fact that they might start using Elix in way better way.

Hey bro, we did the Somoan thing first too. The wild Somoans, Superfly, Rikishi to name a few. And Somoa Joe dosen't even look like he's somoan, he looks like a dark italian.

Companies use each others ideas all of the time. I recall Vince going from big shot and announcer to major television heel just as Bischoff did in WCW. I recall WWE dubbing Kaientai just as La Parka was dubbed. It happens all of the time with companies incorporating other companies ideas. Heck companies reuse their own "ideas" non stop, so why wouldn't other companies do it?

And once again I totally agree with you Dysturbed. But the thing I'm trying to say here is that TNA fans say that what sets TNA apart from WWE is being original. I'm trying to say that that is just simply not true.

They all copy one another. There really isn't a story line or angle that hasn't been done or one that could be so original that it would stop you from crying about who is copying who.

Further more, those are just rumors and we all know that about half of what gets posted on the Internet actually follows through. Secondly, we don't even know what angle this all black group would take. They could have a hip-hop angle....a racist angle...we don't know. It's just an idea and a name and we have no clue what they would do with it.

TNA is only trying to compete with WWE...they have no shot...so there trying to take WWE ideas and make it into there own...im sure vince has no problem tho....wwe need competion

TNA... I cannot stand the fact that they call themselves original when firstly only two or three of their stars aren't WWE cast-offs! Sure, they may be talented, but when you have a never-has-been as your champion in the form of double jerk off Jarrett (Who by the way is by far and long a worse wrestler than John Cena) and hold back their own talents like Joe and Styles for this sort of crap.. and don't get me started on how TNA will be the DEATH of Kurt Angle.. in more ways than one.

This is exactly why TNA will NEVER be able to compete with WWE.

Okay...
this is just a rumor at this point.
Honestly...you can't believe everything you read online. So...if TNA does this group then all they'd be doing is a similar thing that they are doing with LAX. So...the way I see it is they are copying another angle that they already have underway.
Before you go harping on TNA look at WWE's faults and scrutinize the company you prefer rather than the company you don't. I think the TNA fans can handle that just fine.

Jeesh

Racist Angle - covered (albeit badly) already by WWE - Shelton Benjamin.
Hip-Hop - Cheap rip off of what John Cena is now booed for.

John Cena a better wrestler than Jeff Jarrett?
I hope you were saying that because you're angry. Because there is just no truth to that whatsoever.
And I don't think TNA, the company, has ever stated that they are original. What they have said is that they are an alternative. So, before you start ranting please make sure you have your facts correct. And Styles and Joe will have years at the top whereas Jarrett, Sting, Angle, Raven, and Nash are nearing the ends of their respective careers.
If you don't like it then don't watch it. Plain and simple.
I dislike the WWE product so I do not watch. But, because I don't watch I have no reason to complain.

Please just stop your *itching.

Personally, I don't care about this all black group but what gets on my wick is TNA's use of rejects... Get your own friggin talent!!

Okay...
Steve Austin was a WCW reject.
So using your logic then WWF should have never given him a shot.

Yea...I can see how that makes sense.

How exactly can you justify Jarrett being a promoter and a champion at the same time and furthermore if you (as you just said) don't watch WWE how can you comment on John Cena's wrestling ability?

Never a big fan of Austin.... only reason he got pushed in the first place was cos Triple H pissed off Vince McMahon and his push was held back a year.

Yeah whatever Austin was WCW first, I wasn't trying to make this about TNA having WWE rejects on they're roster. I was talking about how TNA prides themselves on being original when they have storylines and gimmicks that were used in the WWE, or some other promotion.

I watched SmackDown in 2003 when Lesnar, Benoit, Cena, and Mysterio were the top stars. And Cena is a very talentless wrestler.

But good job dodging my point.

Yes they pride themselves in having some originality. Have they ever promised 100% originality? If you can accept that commentators exagerrate the impact of moves, that the importance of certain matches, ppvs, etc are promoted as greater than they are, etc then wha's so hard to accept about a claim being made that isn't 100% factual, as if you haven't learned by now not to completely buy into everything that you're fed? It doesn't mean that you have to like it but really it does make sense.
