TNA iMPACT Video Game

Impact is a terrible wrestling game. It is a decent fighting game that you can waste a couple of hours with. I highly suggest renting it and not buying it. Even at $10 it'd still be a waste of money.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that all industry estimates for the new "TNA Impact!" video game is that it underperformed based on expectations. Publicly, TNA will say it was successful. However, those within the industry say they wouldn't be happy with the early estimates of the game selling 100,000 copies in North America and 200,000 worldwide. If those numbers are accurate then it would not be a successful launch of what was hoped to be a franchise product. More accurate numbers aren't expected to be released until the end of the month, but it is not expected to be figured into the top 50 sellers in the U.S.

So the game underperformed. No big deal. Next year the inclusion of the new game mode Ultimate X should be enough to get people intrested in buying this game. Err...... oh shit, it was on this version. Never fear they can add a Cage match or a Ladder match, because other wrestling games don't have those match types.
