Really makes me feel old. I bet a lot of you guys weren't around when this movie came out. Nothing wrong with that of course, be proud of it, just... gah, I'm old. lol

You win Dexter!

God I love Clue. I used to watch it all the time as a kid. I actually had a beer with Lee Ving (Mr. Boddy) a few years back, one of the coolest moments of my life (he was the frontman of the legendary 80s hardcore band Fear).

It's still just as funny as when I was 8, maybe more so. The writing in this film is simply brilliant, and Tim Curry is so good it's downright frightening. Seriously, Curry's performance in this is worthy of a million midnight showings. Curry is the man.

Shame people always remember him for Rocky Horror Picture Show and not this. This was by far the better movie, and the better performance. Don't get me wrong, he was great as Dr. Frankenfurter, but this is better.

You're quickly becoming one of my favorite new posters Dexter.

My dad introduced me to so many movies as a kid, probably why I've had such a lifelong obsession with film. Clue was one of our favorites, all 4 different endings. That final manic running-around explanation that Curry does at the end is cinematic GOLD. So many great quotes in that movie.

Mrs. Peacock: Is everything all right in there?
Col. Mustard: Yep, two corpses, everything's fine.

:lmao:

Wadsworth: I can explain everything.
Cop: You don't have to.
Wadsworth: I don't?
Cop: Don't worry, there's nothing illegal about any of this.
Wadsworth: Are you sure?
Cop: Of course, this is America.
Wadsworth: I see.
Cop: It's a free country, don't you know that?
Wadsworth: I didn't know it was *that* free.

(copied/pasted from IMDB because I couldn't remember the exact liness, but I knew they'd have it... great Wadsworth quote)

Another one of my favorite moments:

Martin Mull's face is priceless at the end there :lmao:

I LOVE this movie. Everything about it is fun and entertaining. Ditto on Curry, he was awesome as Wadsworth. I also liked how they added in the alternate endings, very nice and creative touch. I'm not going to lie, I honestly thought I was the only one who liked/watched this movie. It's nice to see that people share my same sentiments.

BTW, aren't they making another Clue movie?

Yeah they're working on a remake right now, apparently Gore Verbinski is going to direct it and it'll be out 2011. Can't say I'm thrilled over that, I'm not a big fan of Verbinski. Could be good though, probably won't even come close to the original.

Glad to see others love this movie as much as I do. It's simply one of the best comedies I've ever seen, and it's just downright fun.

THIS. That's the best way to describe the movie, straight up fun. Also, how hot was Yvette?
