Things that made you think, "Damn he IS good."

Getting Noticed By Management
I'm sure this thread has been done before in the past, but i didnt see it for awhile back, and i think it will have more options for current fans.

When was a moment for you when a wrestler that you never liked became one of the guys that you did like?

I'll give three recent examples from this year to give you a better understanding of what im asking.

1. Kofi Kingston- when i saw the guy on ecw and then wwe, i thought, maybe a couple time intercontinental champion, and a tag title or too but thats it. the guy has no mic work and he is just entertaining in the ring.
then he had his promo on ortons car and i imediately liked the guy and thought he could go far.

2. Morrison-even until morrison came back to smackdown as a face, i never liked the guy. he was boring and annoying to me. then he had imo the second best match of the year (the first going to hbk taker) with rey rey. he really amazed me in that match, and got me to be a fan.

3. Batista- never really experienced him as a heel, and never liked him as a face. even when he turned heel again, i didnt like him in his fueds with rey and taker. then he had is anti-promo where he didnt say anything, and i said cool. then he had the match with cena where he acted cowardly, then low blowed him and beat the hell out of him, and i said, he is pretty interesting, but we'll see. but then, he gave that promo to cena surrounded by security, and i thought damn, he is a great f-ing heel.

So what are your things a wrestler did that made you go from hating him as a performer, to thinking he is damn good?

P.S. make it just one moment, not, cena finally got me to like him with his constant dedication, or something like that.

1. John Morrison - I had heard a lot of talk about how good this guy was, but I never gave myself a chance to see him in action. One day when I was in Mexico, my cousins were watching wrestling and it was Rey Mysterio vs Morrison. That match really made me a Morrison fan.
2. CM Punk - I tuned in to Smackdown once after I hadn't seen it in a long time and I saw him cutting a promo on drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. That really made me a fan of him.
3. The Miz- I really hated this guy because he always looked like a jobber. Then when he cut that promo with MVP, that really made me like him as a wrestler.

Mr. Kennedy:

This feud was in my opinion one of the best of the decade. Mr. Kennedy's mic skills combined with Taker's in-ring work and solid mic work was pure joy to behold and definitely made me a mark for Ken. His entrance thing was entertaining, yes, but it was this series of promos and matches that really put Ken over for me.

The Miz

Up to when he started bashing Cena, Miz was kind of ... meh. He had no real character, he was very generic and bland, but suddenly he was given a chance to really roll on the stick and he hasn't looked back since. Ok, so it was a very IWC-friendly thing to do, but what the hell, it worked (for me, at least), and got him seriously over. Now, his mic skills are provenly good and hopefully he'll keep improving.

Randy Orton

The "final" feud with HHH/McMahons was what really sold RKO for me. His stuff before that was entertaining and he's a good heel (always has been), but something here really jumped out from the screen and made him larger-than-life. Say what you will about Randy Orton the person, RKO the character is frickin' awesome!
