There's Dory Funk beating out Lex Luger, Nick Bockwinkle is close to edging out RVD, The Miz isn't far behind Christian, and Daniel Bryan beat Bruiser Brody.

He has been seeded lower than Christian but Christian winning would be the upset here considering how high Miz's stock has risen following his WWE Championship victory.

And that upset will happen.

I voted Bockwinkel (happy X?) after doing just the slightest bit of research. I like RVD and all, but he's tremendously overrated by the IWC.

And Rattlesnake, Christian is such an IWC darling that he's probably favored in more matches than just this one. The Miz beating him would definitely be an upset. It wouldn't be an upset, but it would be surprising. That said, it looks like Christian is going to pull out the victory, and I can't say that I'm surprised, nor can I say I'm too upset about it.

Ok so in the next round, so far we got Jeff Hardy vs Big Show (Lulz) and Shawn Michaels vs Billy Graham. Most interesting to me, we got Bret Hart vs Jerry Lawler.

I always thought it was a good program. Obviously Hart will win this, but a god argument could be made for Lawler as well.

Pushing for the Miz just for fun but now I am seriously considering that the Miz does have an edge (get it?) over Christian. Miz is basically doing the same stuff Christian was doing before he first left the WWE. And the Miz is better at doing the serious stuff compared to Christian who usually resort to comedy. I hate the guy but he deserve to go over Christian.

Sorry to be tardy to the party. For me, I'm going to be backing Chris Benoit throughout the tournament, for an assorted list of reasons.

1. He's probably the best wrestler of our (average) generation. Maybe not the best entertainer (though he was entertaining enough), but definitely the best wrestler, bar none.

2. The lulz. Can you imagine the ire raised seeing Benoit get to the finals? How many fans will use his untimely end to make an argument in a wrestling tournament.

3. Seems no one else is riding Benoit to a victory
