The Streak

I have a storyline that would make everyone happy.A superstar is cutting a promo and all of a sudden the lights go out. A R.I.P. reef shows up in the ring when they come back on. The superstar gets stalked for a few weeks by a mysterious figure until after the royal rumble in which he is kidnaped. and Undertaker appears a few weeks later. Undertaker cuts a promo saying with something hidden in a box that he is responsible for the superstars disappearance. He then talks of molding the superstar into a dark appentice weather he wants to or not. Then he calls out the superstar. No one shows. Then he reveals whats in the box. The urn. Takers music hits and he comes out to the power of the urn.. As the pay per views go by he answers every test Undertaker puts in front of him becoming more like the Dead man even changing ring attire. Undertaker makes a few promos about WM being his final test before he gets the full power of the undertaker..WM comes and its a Hell in a Cell match. Undertaker escorts him to the ring and his he waits on his mystery opponent with Taker standing at ringside. The lights go out and come back on with the superstar looking at the ramp puzzled until he relizes his opponent is standing in the ring behind him. Undertaker. Back and forth match with Taker putting the superstar in all Takers Signature moves and kicking out of all of them. Then at the last minute the superstar sits up and puts Taker in the tombstone. Count goes to 2 and the lights go off. Then the ring fills with smoke. the lights come back on with the superstar in the ring looking through the smoke for taker but he is no where in sight. The Music hits, lightning strikes the ring and as the smoke clears the urn sits in the middle of the ring.... He picks it up and Taker shows up at the top of the ramp doing his signature gesture as the superstar does the same with the urn in hand....Taker stands up turns around and raises his hand one final time to the crowd and walks out for the final time....... As far as who the superstar is. I dont know of anyone who would deserve that honor of following in the phenoms footsteps. Maybe Jack Swagger. Or Batista. Swagger would be my pick because i think he will be the face of wwe in the future and it would be a perfect push for him.

Dude that idea is very innovative and different. If built up right that scenario would be a huge hit IMO but I dont think creative is well that creative hahaha.....AND technically he would never had lost because it would go as a no desicion since there r no countouts in HIAC so the streak would never have been broken

thats why they should hire me lol or in all seriousness they should get fan suggestions or research websites like this for ideas for what fans want to see

thats the beauty of the match. being HIAC. They get to see the torch passed but keep the streak all in the same. Everybody wins

This is a pretty awesome idea and I agree that Swagger would be my pick to end the streak. The only problem with your scenario is that it might turn the wrestler into an Undertaker clone which might limit them in the future.

i was thinking of that and maybe since Taker had so many different looks over the years they could tailor to Swaggers stlye with the dead man theme

I don't think they should end the streak. I think it is what sometimes keeps Undertakers carear flowing. All good thing must come to an end and knowing Vince that will be his mentality, butn with the money he makes out of the streak, i think it would be stupid to just say ok its over!

I don't thonk one of the young guns hsould end it through if someone is going to. I think it would have to be a establised Main eventer. I just couldn't sit here imagining Jack Swagger(as good as he is) ending one of the greatest things that World Wrestling Entertaiment has not fucked up on.

If i were going to have anyone end the streak through it would have to be John Cena. The guy is the top face in the company and makes a bundfill of money for Vince and his company. If you were ever going to look for any other moment liike rock/hogan at WM then this is the one that will show you it.

Instead of ending the streak, or having one of the newer talents face Taker at Mania 26, why not do something different?? How about a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match with Taker and three other Stars?? Undertaker has had 10 regular One on One matches, a Hell In A Cell match, a No DQ match, a Handicap match, a Casket match, and 3 World Title matches (one of which was another No DQ match). Why not spice it up a bit and add a new element to Undertaker’s WrestleMania matches. This also gives Taker more of a chance to lose, which builds the excitement factor up a few notches. I would not have someone who Taker beat before at Mania, except for Kane. So with that, my choices are, John Cena, Chris Jericho and CM Punk.

On the other hand, I think his last Mania opponent should be Kane one more time for the Trilogy and possibly to end the streak.

I like the idea of adding something to it but there are a few reasons why I would be against it. The first of ehich being that you know there would be an epic swerve on the cards. The Undertaker would most likely win and extend his streak but in all honesty, if they were going to end his streak, I can only see someone like John Cena ending it. The swerve would more than likely occur when someone pins someone else who isn't the Undertaker. That way the streak would still be intact... Sort of. I think that Taker matches at Wrestlemania don't really need anything more added to them that what is already on offer to be quite frank. I mean think about it, The Undertaker had the best match at this year's Mania and it was a singles match against Shawn Michaels. I think that the excitement of the match is enough for me at the minute and I also think that any stipulations added to the matches would only take away from the Streak: Will it, wont it angle.

I also think that you are right and that it will be Kane who wrestles last. I hope so anyway, it would be fitting but I don't think it would measure up someone like Cena. I mean, people would legitimately worry if it was against Cena because Cena could win and I can imagine it.

I see your view on this, but what I said was an Elimination Match. So in essence Taker would have to, at the very least, get the last pinfall. I wouldn’t want him to not be involved in the finish of his match at Mania. It’s still a “Main Event of Mania” along with the two World Title matches and the Money In The Bank, so regardless if he gets the other two pinfalls / submission, which might actually make it even better for him to eliminate all three of his opponents in this case, he should at least get the last one.

Yeah i like the idea of the fatel four way or some sort of twist. What about this. WHat about have someone pin him 1,2,3 and celebrate for 2 minuets or whatever and then have VKM or Teddy Long come out to say that Takers foot was indeed under the rope and that the match must continue. Dunno just a thouhgt.

i have a wonderfully stupid idea. how about The Rock facing him and The Rock winning, putting him in a coffin and shouting as it smokes 'If you smellllll what the rock is cooking? or would that be a bit of a bad way to the Undertaker's career and streak?

I do not think they should end the streak. It's not that the Undertaker needs the streak or title wins or even a huge winning record to still be loved, but it's something to be proud of, it's a accomplishment never before done and it should stay that way, it'll be his one great legacy above all the other things he has done, so why take the undefeated streak away from him? It wouldn't hurt him, but there is not point to it.
