People forget that Marty Jannetty, back in 1993, was in the same spot Morrison is in now. He was a Mid-Carder that was "over", he wore colorful outfits, was solid in the ring, cut decent promos and had backstage heat over trying to go to WCW.
This Trish thing (If Its True) could put the nail in the coffin for him being a constant main eventer. He might win the strap once, but he'll never be the star, people have pegged him to be. You might say he's too talented, for backstage politics to plague him but so was Mr.Kennedy and how did that work out?
As for Cody, I just would be interested to see how he does beyond the Mysterio feud. Can his gimmick be effective just for this storyline or can it go beyond it?

It was good, but not his best. I liked a few of his promos leading up to 'Mania better.
So want him to get a main event bump after the Rey feud ends.
After Christian wins the belt, of course.

Morrison is never going to be a consistent main eventer. He doesn't have the charisma to carry a feud, let alone a show. And Kennedy was an overrated fuck up.
To be honest I'm not on Savage's cock as much as most people are. I like him and all, but I wouldn't even put him in my Top 25 of all time I think. I do love Savage though. It was pretty choreographed, but so was Guerrero/Mysterio. It's just so fluid, so well worked, it seems as close to real as you'll ever get in professional wrestling.
Workrate wise, Steamboat-Savage wouldn't even crack my top ten. But there's so much more to that match than just he work itself. Totally a five star match just because of how perfectly booked and executed it all was, it was a prime example of how to correctly build and blow off a feud.
I love Eddie vs Rey at HH97 to death as well and it's another five star match in my ratings, but I don't think I'd quite rank it as the top match ever. Certainly top ten material though.
Then again you have to remember I'm a big old puro and indy fan so there would be some candidates on my top ten list that wouldn't be on yours.

That could very well be the last time we ever hear Chimmel's voice crack while announcing Edge. 
Woah, woah, woah. Lets not get crazy here. He was just injury prone. You can't deny he had tons of charisma. I would take him over Alberto Del Rio to be the top guy on Smackdown.
This is a good point. Who doesn't love seeing George Steele get involved in the match?

I'm not going to lie. I would take 2007 MVP Over Del Rio as well. On the microphone, I'm talking about.
He also near crippled Orton, wasn't that good in the ring, said nothing more memorable than his last name twise and fucked himself in the ass with the online pharmacy scandal. Man was an overrated fuckup through and through.
