The Power of Pyro

Have you ever been to a live Wrestling event? Have you ever seen when a certain wrestler's pyro goes off? If you have, 9/10, it is VERY LOUD!!!

Pyrotechnics help make a superstar that more special. Some say it's unnecessary. But I think it get the superstar over just a little more. So let me just get to the actual point.

WHO DO YOU THINK COULD USE SOME TO MAKE THEM MORE EXCITING TO WATCH?

1. Hell Yes!!
2. Probably Batista's. If you've never been to a live event when he comes out, it is deafening!! It literally makes your heart pound, with all of the explosives!
3. I think either Miz or Alex Riley using pyro would help get their characters over more than they already are.

Yeah but if I was a Diva I'd be the first one with a pyro- ;D
I liked Kane's until I went to Raw for the first time and he came out with the Big Show to attack the Corre (this was the first time I'd ever seen these guys in person- except for Zeik) who were attacking Santino and Kozlov. Guess where I was sitting? Right next to where the fireworks go off.

Pyro can be pretty awesome, and extremely loud for those of us who have been to live events. It makes a big entrance that much more impressive when utilized at the right moment. Edge has my favorite pyro. It looks really cool and is LOUD in person. It was so loud at Summerslam last year that it scared my wife lol.... I think that pyro should be used but only by bigger names and guys getting big pushes because otherwise it is not as significant. The pyro means more if only the more important guys get to have it.

1. Yeah if it fits the person, it does wonders. Look at Kofi Kingston, his pyro gets a reaction every time even if he doesn't.

2. My favorite will always be Kane's. I went to my first Smackdown taping back in March and his entrance ruled. You can feel the heat from the flames creep up on you.

3. I wouldn't mind seeing guys like A-Ry or Daniel Bryan get some pyro. They're both guys that the WWE seems to be investing in right now and the pyro can make them seem like a bigger deal.

Pyro was always my fav thing about an entrance my fav's was rey back in the day they would go off and he jumps up. Kofi's batista nonstop fire works and even though it didnt make much noise randy pyro back in the day how all the gold fireworks shot down when he posed

I want to see Justin, Evan, Randy should have some fire works and sheamus

yea Pyro is awesome. Went to a live event in Adelaide and the pyro made the event that more special. When the music just cut off and the pyro (opening) exploded out of nowhere made the open that more exciting and awesome! Personally I like opening pyro the best but as for a superstar Goldust, because his pyro just looked awesome. Kofi Kingstons is also really awesome and Rey Mysterio is always kwl, but personal favourite is Jeff Hardy, especially 2008 - 2009.

As for a superstar's pyro who doesnt already have some, maybe CM Punk, he has allot going for him and would make him stand out even more. Pyro before his music hit would be absolutely awesome. BANG! Just close your eyes... Yea that would be kwl.

Daniel Bryan and/or Wade Barrett could also use Pyro because they dont have anything to make them standout. Pyro would also fix Alex Rileys entrance where he just walks to the ring with no character.

I think pyros can be good if used correctly. It can get stars a decent pop or it could help their character. I think some of the up and comers could use pyros. I think it would be cool for McIntyre to have some. Maybe similar to what Randy used to have, so when McIntyre spreads his arm with his hands like guns the pyro goes off, he probably won't have the pyros though because it looks like they don't know/care what they're going to do with him.

DO YOU LIKE PYRO?

Pyro is awesome. I remember going to WCW Nitro back in the day and being a little disappointed afterwards because of the lack of pyro. Pyro adds something to an entrance that is lacking something. It helps the audience remember who a certain wrestler is and makes the entrance more exciting.

So yeah, pyro rules.

WHO HAS YOUR FAVORITE PYRO OF ALL TIME?

Goldberg has my favorite pyro. The way he would just come out and stand in the middle the the sparks that would fly into him and then come out breathing out the smoke was just so cool. We used to try to do the same thing with sparklers when we wrestled in the backyard, like Gillberg did, but it never worked out right.

WHO DO YOU THINK COULD USE SOME TO MAKE THEM MORE EXCITING TO WATCH?

I think Sheamus would have a cool entrance if they add a little pyro. He comes out from the back and hits his chest and when he raises his arms have some green pyro go off. They are turning, or have turned, him face and pyro usually gets a pop, so it would only help get him over. Also, I think it would look pretty cool.

Absolutely I love some good pyro! It just makes the whole experience feel bigger and makes the person who has it seem like he's a major star.

WHO HAS YOUR FAVORITE PYRO OF ALL TIME?

This is hard to say because I'm positive that there are people out there that I'm not thinking of who would be up there. But off the top of my head Goldberg, Kane, and Edge. I never saw the Goldberg's live, but I always thought he was so badass when he would walk through it and breath out the smoke without flinching. The other two I saw and I can't tell you how loud and hot Kane's used to be back in the day...especially when it caught you off guard. Edge's just seemed to fit so well with his character, his music, his entrance...it just made it perfect.

WHO DO YOU THINK COULD USE SOME TO MAKE THEM MORE EXCITING TO WATCH?

I think it works best when the guy is built up a bit, so A-Ry might use some in the future but not just yet. Guys like Miz, Punk, and Sheamus I guess it would be cool to have something for

1. yes i like the pyro for the superstars who doesnt?

2. hmmm favorite pyro of all time i think id go with either edge or shawn michaels (when he used to pose in the ring and pyro would go off behind him) it was just really loud and cool!

3. well i dont know if having pyro makes someone more exicting to watch or even gets them a reaction but if i had to pick someone id pick someone like miz or dolph ziggler because there big names on raw and they dont have pyro i think it would add something extra to their enterance
