Thanks. And thanks to my bro IHW for the vote, I should have known.
Not when the only person to nominate you was you. I know who im voting for in the biggest try hard category this year.
That doesn't even matter.
Now it does.
You're patting yourself on the back for nominating yourself. You know how strange that looks?
Awfully strange, I assume.
Its funny though, because not a single voter agrees that you have improved!
Or, they don't agree that I've improved as much as some of the other guys on the poll.
Try all the other guys. You're the only one that has received zero votes.
I should have at least voted for myself so I wouldn't be the only one with zero. Ah well. Maybe I should hunt for a mentor.
Killjoy went from unbearably annoying to a guy whose posts I always stop to read. I really don't think anyone had a turnaround quite like he did.
You are really trying to milk the mentor thing, aren't you?
That's news to me. Last year, I was runner up for best wrestling poster. Was I that annoying in the Bar Room? And no one bothered to say anything? Other than JGlass?
As pointed out by several people already...did Sam actually get better this year? And did he get better to a degree that merits him the "most improved"? The guy was already rock solid. Like, on a Daniel Bryan level of quality. Did he really go from Daniel Bryan to Kurt Angle between now and the start of 2012?
Not hatin' on Sam. I'm just saying...
EDIT: Fuck you D-Man. I thought we had something special!
...ok, no I didn't. We never had anything special. But in my head, we did. And it was lovely.
I'm insulted that you think Kurt Angle is significantly better than Daniel Bryan. You just lost my vote.
Unless people are sucking up to HGR to try and get on the main page I don't get this at all. He has improved some since he first got on this site but this year his improvement has been marginal at best. About all that happened is he started posting more, which was a disaster at first but has become slightly more bearable lately. He is capable of decent stuff at times but his try harding here with bs about accidentally voting for himself etc. is clear evidence he still isn't anywhere near improved enough yet.
That doesn't mean I am voting for Sam though. The supposedly hippest cat on WZ didn't even know that TNA has been doing some great stuff over the last year until recently. He was too cool for school this year and it is high time someone cut his bees knees out from under him.
I voted for Dynamite based on his WZCW work. He's improved greatly. Everybody else is mostly the same (that's not a knock against anybody, just saying I think he's improved the most).
Very sad to see it doesn't look like I'll be winning this. Guess I'll have to win something in 2013
I was going to vote for HGR because I went from red repping him any chance I got to wanting to red rep him but deciding not to. But I voted for Sam.
Seemed like the right thing to do.
Any reasons that are less esoteric?
It must have been the "everybody else was voting for Sam, I must do the same to look cool" method.
It's official - The Amazing Red Skull is one cool cat.
Yet to vote. I'm not entirely sure just how bad these monkeys were. Or just how good they are now actually.
I smell a signature quote.
