So I guess Kentucky is for McCain? Still some polls to close yet, but with 30 % lead there I imagine that's not going away.

it's deceptive, don't trust those numbers until their near 90%. Those numbers can change.

It could be soemthing out of the precincts that have reported that they are either all rural counties or all urban areas, and that can make it look go one way or another. When areas like Lexington and Louisville start reporting in, that number willg et much closer.

True.

I don't believe any state has officially reported a number yet, have they?

Most of the comments I've read from troops seem to indicate they thought the war was a good idea.

They're hardwired to agree with the Government, I mean...they're sent to die for the Government. They're taught that the Government is right. I'm not saying their patriotism isn't commendable, but its not something I put much faith in.

Personally, I don't think anyone really cares who wins at the moment. They're worried about the aftermath, which is going to be insanely interesting.

Indiana and KY have some insanely early numbers in. There's 4 million people in KY, and easily the biggest cities are Lexingotn and Louisville. I don't know a single person in Lexingotn going for McCain.

It's a volunteer army, though. If you signed up for active duty in the last 7 years, you knew you were headed to Iraq or Afghanistan. They probably thought it was a good idea before going, if they decided to go in the first place.

The Marines I've personally spoken to feel that way, at any rate.

Exactly!

The guy I sit next to in my Algebra/Trig class is way excited about enlisting. It's all he ever talks about.

Yeah, I couldn't find any either. But most everyone is democrat...I think.

Well, that's good to know. 15 votes is a big deal.

Wonder which way Ohio is going to go? I've talked to a lot of people, and it seems really split up here in the Cleveland region.

Holy crap. Go watch CNN, they've got some Star Trek shit going on right now. They've got a woman beamed in on a freaking hologram.
