Anyways. Machines usually keep track of the results and are all called in, and throughout the evening, it will show who is winning which state, with a certain percentage of precints reporting. Usually the networks will see someone winning with a certain percentage of precints reporting in, and attempt to declare the state for said person, which usually turns around and makes them look like idiots.

Well, I'm guessing you have a computer, a television, a cell phone, a video game console, a roof over your head, and food to eat, so i'm not exactly seeing poverty strikign everyone. People are pissed because they don't have as much disposable income to by their new i phones or i-pods. When things get tight, people bitch. We're spoiled as a nation of civilians and would have no idea about living it rough if it bit us in our collective fat asses.

I support Obama mainly for his age, and fear of Palin. I have a good amount of money in the stock market, and I haven't worried for a second about it. Stocks go up. Is part of what's going on Bush's and the Republicans fault? Likely so. Is it all their fault? Not in the slightest. There's no such thing as a perfect candidate. Obama just seems to be better to me.

True, but I also live in Virginia where the whole economic issues aren't as noticeable as in other parts of the country. It doesn't change the way things have been run has turned the country to shit, and McCain want's to continue many of those practices. I like both Candidates, neither 1 over the other, I just think its time we try something new. Be it good or bad, something new.
