Because if you would have invested in beer cans a year, year and a half ago, you would be better off than many of the current stocks.
Seriously, recycling beer cans would be a wiser investment than investing in many stocks from a year ago.
At this point, you better have inside information, or invest in gold. Anything else just isn't a good idea.

So then since you're so incredibly sensitive about your religion, don't you find it hard to support someone who supports the death penalty as well as war? There IS NO DEBATE on his religion; the man is a Christian and has been for his entire life, and the evidence of this is so fucking large and overwhelming that to even suggest he is anything other then a Christian is insulting and nothing more then slander.
Wow Brian. I'm not too sure you understand the concept of an economy. Your friends who saved their money? Yeah, that does NOTHING to help the economy, that in fact hurts the economy. You know what helps the economy? If your buddies went out and spent that money on goods and services. Thats what helps the economy.
