We’re past Takeover II now and the main story seems to have been Adrian Neville teasing a heel turn by pulling the referee out of the ring to retain his title. Other than that we saw the debut of Hideo Itami and what looks to be the start of a feud with former NXT Tag Team Champions the Ascension, who lost their belts to Sin Cara and Kalisto. Let’s get to it.

I really dont know what to make of Hideo's first match. It had its moments but at the same time it just wasn't that good, like when Hideo blocked the double underhook suplex only for Gabriel to just go and hit another one anyway. At the same time what is the go with Gabriel? Is he heel or face, he pumps the crowd up like a face but the commentators talk about him being aggressive which usually they only do with heels or John Cena

Itami is not a Low-Ki wrestler. He's better than that match and I'm expecting a good showing in his next since the guys he's wrestling is pretty sweet.

Plus he only arrived at NXT like 2 months ago so give him time. He looks better than Cara anyways.

Titus O'Neil will be interesting, i thought he was going to be great on the mic when he started talking but he faded fast, i feel like the skills are there with titus and he could be something.

If Itami's style is going to be "kick" then he's doing to have to stop being outdone in that department by Adrian Neville on the very same show. Still early days, give him time, all the clichés...

Speaking of whom, really like the direction they're going with in this feud with Zayn - and this is from someone who felt they couldn't possibly be invested in a Neville/Zayn program. The crowd chanting "Better than Neville!" after Sami's standing moonsault and then Neville just going "Oh yeah? Fucking watch this then" and hitting a standing corkscrew moonsault was delicious. And I get being mad at Sami for getting battered by Titus for so long, but getting pinned after getting kneed in the chest? Weak, mate!

The seeds are being planted for the big showdown of Neville vs. Zayn but they seem to be doing a very slow build. Tonight we get one of the roadblocks out of the way as Tyson Kidd is getting his FINAL title shot at Adrian Neville. Their first two matches have been solid so this one should be entertaining well. We’re also getting the Lucha Dragons defending against the Ascension. Let’s get to it.
