The NXT Thread Is Like Ring of Honor's Bay-Bay!

This is the closest thing NXT has to a week off as we’ll have matches taped before Takeover this past Saturday night. That means we’ll be seeing some stand alone stuff in front of a white hot crowd, which should make these matches mean a lot more than they would otherwise. Other than that and a few interviews, this isn’t the biggest show in the world. Let’s get to it.

I really hope this is the start of a push for Dillinger. Regardless of whether or not his gimmick translates to the main roster, the NXT folks love him, and he's a really solid worker. Build him up for a while, and give him a shot at the next heel NXT champion. Why not?

I took a screenshot of it but then decided it might be poor form to post pictures of other forum members. Plus Norcal looked hilarious in the still.

That is NOT the one I have but its tremendous :lmao:

I like mine better, me and goose like old ladies at a funeral. If my FB app stops being a shitpiece and ill send it to you for repost

Is Bayley much taller than Ember Moon or is Ember Moon really that much of a short-arse? One would have thought they would try to have Ember remain enigmatic, what with the red eyes and ninja outfit and all that, but instead they gave her a "Hey kid, catch!" moment, so whatever.

Hideo will probably get the best of Aries and then unsuccessfully challenge Nakamura for the belt. Roode will beat whoever - Dillinger would be a nice little feud - and then ultimately be the one to take the belt off Nakamura, allowing Nakamura to ascend to the promised land, where it's said the streets are paved with championship belts.

It's easy to forget just how god damn wide the Authors of Pain are. They do need a new finisher because that clothesline is just such an anti-climax after they kill the other team with dual powerbombs. Surely - surely - you have The Revival turn tweener, perhaps taking exception to another team running roughshod over their division, and give them the best send-off of all: a vicious beating. If you're gonna miss The Revival, give me a SAY YEEEEAH.

Edit:

I would buy a Revival ring jacket in a heartbeat.

it seems Bobby Roode & Austin Aries just switched Opponents.

It's something to do I suppose but both men deserve more no matter how much I like No Way Jose.

The champ is back tonight as Shinsuke Nakamura makes his first appearance on NXT since winning the NXT Title in Brooklyn. I mean, that was only eleven days ago but NXT is making it seem like a big deal. It should be interesting to see who comes out to challenge him for the title, though odds are it’s Samoa Joe for a rematch. Let’s get to it.
