He actually got $57m out of Doom? Are you kidding me? I know most of the hype was from the video game, but we all know if it was some lower calibur actor who starred in the movie, it would've went straigh to DVD.

Can't really get much lower when it comes to acting talent than the Rock. Also if I remember correctly the lead actor in DOOM was Karl Urban (Star Trek, Lord of the Rings). Anyway not important; The Band seem to be playing their part quite well, they're not going over the young guys, the only area's they're really looking dominant is in 3 on 1 backstage attacks and seeing as Scott Hall has made the decision himself to stay out of the ring until he can get in shape I'd say they're quite serious about helping push the younger guys. So all in all I look forward to "The Band" helping out in whatever storyline they get put into so long as they maintain their current position as enhancement talent.

The Band have been okay, I'd still shit my pants with excitement if Scott Hall does a survey. The problem for me lies with Morley, Orlando Jordan and The Nasty Boyz. Anyone on the TNA roster can go above and beyond what these guys can do. At least The Band is been presented as what they are, drunk lowlifes on a short contract. They're not only ramming these other guys down our throats, they are actually letting them go over other more talented TNA stars. I've had zero problems with The Band thus far.

Waltman comes across as Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler. They even have the same kind of look.

Scott Hall comes across as a rowdy drunkard with brain damage.

Kevin Nash is... painfully old. His mic work is suffering from him starting to slur like Ric Flair, too.

Now, if it's all a work or if they really are as bad as they seem to be... well, their contractual status with TNA will eventually show us, in the words of R-Truth, what's up.

I have mixed feelings on this. When they came back on the live show I was questuioning what the hell TNA was thinking. After seeing what took place at Genesis I'm not sure what to think.

I doubt thew band wuill e in TNA for too long. I honestly don't think either of them could last six months in TNA wrestling. But for the short term maybe this is a good thing. Maybe.
