Plus, San Fran's offense played like shit. The fact that they were even in the game when they were 1-14 on 3rd down is astonishing.

Anyone who solely blames Kyle Williams for the loss couldn't be more wrong. Convert a couple of those 3rd downs and the game is completely different.

Kyle Williams definitely fucked up but Harbaugh didn't have much of a choice because of the injury to Ginn. Not every team has a third string return man ready to be thrown into a clutch situation in bad weather. It's being said that Williams is receiving death threats from fans which is obviously going a little far.

I also learned today that Kyle Williams dad is White Sox GM Kenny Williams. There's your "completely irrelevant to the discussion" sports fact of the day

Brett Swain has returned punts before. he could have at the very least been told to come in there and call fair catch every time.

Considering the slippery conditions, it would've been smart to concentrate mroe on holding the ball than getting yardage like the Giants's receiver did. He went down when he was barely touched.
