Came from watching 80 some odd Yankee games, where they all say that every time Cano is up against a lefty.

Bad Baserunning by Mauer. Should have gone to third on the ball to the wall, then shouldn't have ran when he did on the groundout.

Oh, well I can't watch Yankee games b/c of the Brave in me but at least the AL scored a run, I'm not so sure we can do that now

Are you talkin' about the sac fly? B/c he would've been out by a mile.

And if you meant the error, Longoria was in front of him so he couldn't advance.

1. The Yankee in me is what watches 80 someodd Yankee games. You can probably tell me craploads about the Braves I wouldn't know (other then the Melk-Man of course).
2. The AL will run out of great pitchers eventually. Of course by then the game will be over.

I was referring to the Sac Fly that was caught against the Wall. Even though it was to left, he should have been ready to tag, and unless the throw was on-line he might have been able to make it.

Either way, he definitely should NOT have run on the ground ball he was tagged out on. He was out by a mile there.

I love how one person voted for a tie in the poll. They have done pretty much everything to ensure they won't have to do that again.

That should be Strasburg warming up in the bullpen as the Nationals representative, not Matt Capps... :disappointed:

Nice job Andrus, you would've scored on that too.

EDIT: I don't understand why baserunners even bother to pop up after stealing. Mise well stay on the ground and get time called so things like that don't happen.

NO IT SHOULDN'T
Not this shit again...

But with a runner on 2nd, who's to say that he hits the ball in the same play. It's the Fallacy of the Pre-determined Outcome. (people who watch Yankee Games have heard that Over 9000 times).

In case the ball goes to Center Field, they can get to 3rd.

After all that Strasburg stuff, Capps gets it done.

Yeah it may go into CF, but 95% of the time it doesn't, and even when it does, half the time guys don't advance another base. Look at Mauers throw. Went into the OF but the runner (forget who) didn't advance to third.

1. It was David Wright.
2. You are right.
3. Baserunners probably feel pop-up slides get players to the base faster.
