The Lilypad

Will you ever admit that being born of the green race makes you genetically inferior to whites?

Never.

Serious question time. I think it is fair to say that compared to the rest of the guys in the back, you and I aren't as accomplished. Do you ever feel inferior or like you don't belong? Because sometimes I feel that way. It still hasn't fully set in that I help run this place now.

I guess you are meaning in the terms of RPing success. Eh, I wouldn't say that I feel inferior in that aspect. I definitely have not accomplished what some have, but I have held my own before against guys like Kurtesy, Echelon, Titus, and Ty. Three of which have won the big one at KC.

I felt honored whenever I was gifted with my role in AoC. It made me feel like I had the tools to become one of the top guys if I perfected my RP skills. Because of that, I was put against much tougher opponents than the average noob got. I was going up against Gelgarin when he was at his prime. Heck, the guy never even officially lost the title. He dropped it because he had to leave. I am pretty sure he probably never would of lost RPing wise if he had stuck around. Truth be told, I threw away one of those EurAsian title shots at LL and caused a big scene because I acted like a total douche. I was so consumed with telling the story about Chris taking out Ty that I dropped the ball. I'm not saying that I would of won had I put more of a effort because Gelgarin was really good, but I know that I definitely low-balled that entire match. Seriously, thinking about how I thought and acted over things back then makes me ashamed. I'm glad that I took a break from creative and was able to realize what I needed to do to be better as a member. I feel like I am far more useful now than I ever was in my first run.

So, I guess what I am trying to say is that I still have a lot to prove, but I feel like I can produce some good stuff. I am not trying to be cocky or anything, but I am just proud of some of my past work and honored that I got to go up against some tough opponents in the beginning of my career. I have been here little over a year, which is very short compared to all of the guys in the back. I know that if I keep perfecting my skills, I can hold the strap one day. I think you should feel the same way Yaz.

Before the Black Dragon debacle, what did you think of Scumm? And what do you think of Thrash so far, and how far do you think I can take him?

Scumm - I thought your face turn really helped your momentum. E.g. you getting an Elite X Title shot at KC. Not quite sure why you wouldn't bring back Scumm when you had so much history to work off of and the fact that he is very close to your current character.

Thrash - The concept of the character is okay, but the execution is lacking. As of right now, I don't see you doing very much with the character. Vega has a clamp on the Mayhem Division and there is no way I see you taking the strap off of him. The mid-card is a lot different now from when you were around before. Most people would steam-roll over you. Also, the tag-team division used to be an escape and a way for lower-cards to break into the upper division, but it is so crowded and intense that I would be shocked if you could find a partner that could take you far into it. You will have to seriously step up your game if you hope to be more than on the bottom of the card. Just some honest thoughts for you there.

How physically fit is your ideal RPer?

Oh, I don't know. Maybe semi-healthy with not too much of a gut? I say that because my ideal RPer would be someone that cares about the fed, but not so much that they neglect things like their physical health. For example, I find enough time to be on creative, RP, go to school, work, occasionally spend time with friends, spend time with my wife, and still go to the gym once or twice a week with her. Not sure if that was the answer you are looking for, but yeah.

What do you think I could do to make Dustin Hunter better?

Do you think Carnival Of Carnage has potential?

What is your favorite RP you've ever written?

What do you think of Celeste's current direction? Are there any hopeful feuds that you want to do with Chris in the future?

General thoughts on myself and Triple X?

How much will you mark out when 'My Curse' eventually becomes my theme again? :p

Any regrets with Chris KO so far?

Is there anyone in the fed who you thought wouldn't amount to much who's proven you wrong?

Least favorite moment as a creative member?

What were your thoughts on Derek Jacobs?

How would you bring him back to the fed after being "injured"?

I liked him a lot better in New Church than before it. I think you and Thriller worked pretty well together in that aspect. As far as coming back, for my money's worth he would need to have some involvement with the TSA if it is still around. Regardless, I think you have a lot to work with upon your return so try not to squander it.

What do you think I could do to make Dustin Hunter better?

Do you think Carnival Of Carnage has potential?

What is your favorite RP you've ever written?

Dustin Hunter - Honestly, I think a lot of times when new people join they try to make a really strong character that is practically invincible, but once they lose a lot(and they will because they are new) it kind of shoots a ton of holes in their gimmick. My suggestion would be to read a lot of the current upper-card RPers that have similar gimmicks to yourself. It shouldn't be too hard to find someone because the roster is littered with people who have psychotic problems. That is another thing, the whole psycho character has been over done, so you will have to try to find a way to make it your own and present it in a unique way. It may take some time for you to find your groove though.

Carnival of Chaos - Yeah, I think you guys have some potential in making a small dent. We are definitely in need of another heel time. I think it will help you two grow as RPers. To be honest, I will be more excited to see what you guys bring out of it as opposed to the actual success you achieve as an actual team.

Favorite RP - I would have to pick two. The first would be the RP I used against Ty Burna at Redemption.

http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.php?t=222371

The second would be the RP where Serafina and Chris kissed in the rain.

Alex Bowen vs. Justin Cooper III at Kingdom Come. Yay or nay?

Yay, unless you two find yourself with some tag gold by then. I would say that Bowen would probably need to be the face because of his prestige and longevity. He wouldn't even have to be a clean face, but the fans would probably get behind him out of his respect for his work in the Mayhem division. I would love if Steamboat Ricky came in to Special Guest Referee the match.

What do you think of Celeste's current direction? Are there any hopeful feuds that you want to do with Chris in the future?

Celeste - I like it. It has breathed some new life into the character that has been staggering since the end of the AoC angle. However, I do think you probably could of done a lot with Arashi had he stuck around.

Hopeful Feuds - I think Steven Kurtesy, should he ever return, would be at the top of my list. The Chris and Kurtesy character had a very interesting relationship during the AoC angle. One might even say that Kurtesy help Chris break away from Ty's control. Saboteur would be up there too. I cut my first heel RP on him and I think there is some untapped chemistry there.

BK - You are a great member of the fed I love the way you post. As in you don't talk a lot in the Discussion Thread, but when you do it is worth reading.

My Curse - Don't tease me! Yeah, but I'll probably mark out pretty hard. I might even stop derailing your pushes in the back if you do. ;)

Regrets - Probably not putting my best effort forward with the EurAsian title shots awhile back. I still have the chip on my shoulder of never having won any gold.

Proven Me Wrong - Krypto would probably be the most accurate choice for me. I knew he had potential, but I thought he would need to drop the character to do anything noteworthy. Back in the day there used to be a character named Ale written by a member known as The Best. He came in at the same time I did and I followed his character and always made it a point to read his RPs, even before I was on creative. When he left I thought he would never come back, but he did and he actually won and fought for the Mayhem Title at KC as a rapper character. I can't even remember his character's name now.

Least Favorite Moment - If I had to choose a single moment, I can remember one time whenever there was some kind of commotion going on in the Discussion Thread. The complaining was nonsensical and should of been dealt through PMs. Anyways, there was a lot of people being unappreciative with their words, and I remember exiting out of my browser and turning off skype after all of that because I had to write a match for the show. I spent 2-3 hours writing and then stopped. I chuckled to myself because I just read several pages of how creative doesn't care or blah blah and I was sitting there spending hours writing fictional matches to appease the same ones who I just took their complaints in stride. It's times like that where I wonder why I even bother with doing the amount of work I do. I am sure that anyone that has ever been on creative can attest to this type of feeling. I would classify those moments as my least favorite.

I'm French. Can I eat you? Or is that something you do after the first date?

I'll have to ask my wife about this.

So yeah, what are your thoughts about me, and my character? And do you think our E-Fed careers would have been any different if we actually formed a Tag Team when we both started in the fed?

What do you look for when you vote on RPs? Do you weigh any one thing more than something else?

Here are a few things I look for in no particular order: relevancy to the match, relevancy to the character's current story line, staying in character, creativity, execution, good formatting, entertainment, and an overall engaging piece of work.

I would say that the lack of relevancy to the match and the opponent can damage any RP significantly. Sometimes there is a need to downplay the match because there is a huge arch going on that eclipses it, but I believe that opponents should always address each other no matter what.

Of course, as you and Doc have demonstrated, it does not always have to be an interview with Kensworth where you talk about destroying so-and-so. There are more creative ways that you can go about it. That is not to say that there are no effective ways to go about doing interviews and having success. Look at Showtime for example.

Pancake - You are a great bud who is pretty chill about most things. It was nice to see you branch out to other parts of the forum and become something outside of WZCW.

Ricky Runn - Your current direction is doing wonders for your RPs. I have highly enjoyed reading your most recent work. I think you stumbled out of the gate after Reynolds left, but you may have finally found niche in order to get back up to a solid position in the mid-card. Keep up the gimmick and perfect it, it'll take you far.

What If - Probably. In fact, I think a lot of things in the fed would be different now. I would have never went into AoC and you would have never got the rub from Austin Reynolds. Reynolds may have even stuck around the upper-card and won a different title. Whose to know what would of become of the AoC.

What was the general consensus on KB's review of AoN? I mean, I did it on the sly and no one really commented on it. Has it helped you write matches? Has it led to a new approach on how matches are written or do you approach it differently?

Does that mean Chris KO is our biggest draw?

I wish. In terms of our biggest forum draw, as in who is the member that draws the most non-fed members of the forum to read the show, it would probably be Saboteur. In terms of kayfabe I would argue that Saboteur would find himself there again alongside Saxton. I guarantee that they are our #1 merchandise seller.

I will say this though, Barbosa mentioned sometime last week that Chris was the arguably the biggest heel at the moment. I don't know if would bestow that upon myself right now, but I feel honored if some people view Chris in that light (or darkness).

I know I learned one thing very clearly. That is that I will never offer to write another iron-man match again. That is not because KB gave it a bad grade, but it is because I wrote 25 pages or so and spent several hours on it only for it to still not feel like a 60-min iron man match. I think that it is because it is nearly impossible to translate the length without writing 50 pages plus. It may be that my style of writing does not cater to that type of match, but it is a task that I will not suggest or claim to write any time in my foreseeable future.

Anyways, I think the main things that were brought up are the following: Introducing recaps before matches, avoid duplicate usage of a single maneuvers in a match, and an issue with finishers matching character's size.

Recaps - I can honestly say that this is the only thing from KB's review that I have been mindful of when writing matches now. I may not be doing the type of recap that KB suggested, but I try to make it a point to have the commentators comment on the competitor's current status in the and the match's relation with that status.

Duplicates - I didn't really take much from this because I don't ever use the same move twice from a character in a match besides general strikes and maybe a submission once in a blue moon. That is just my writing style.

Fishers & Characters - I didn't really take this as anything that creative can fix besides being more rigid on the application process and in character change thread.

So yeah, I didn't really take much from KB's review that drastically changed my writing style, but I did think he hit on some good points.

Thoughts on myself and Alhazred?

Do you think the AoC storyline would have gone on longer had I not left when I did?

Red Skull - You are a nice guy who has a lot on his plate in real life. The main thing is that you don't use it as an excuse like some others do or beg and bark for opportunities after you push deadlines or no-show every once in a while. I respect that about you.

Alhazred - My view of Alhazred teeters and totters every so often. Sometimes I find myself a bit disturbed while other times I laugh my froggy bum off. I may be in the minority as far as being disturbed, though. I am one of the more conservative members of the forum. I still love your character and definitely enjoy reading your work each round.

AoC - Nah, probably not. All of it depended on Ty really. As soon as he decided to leave, AoC was on the chopping blocks. I wasn't on creative at the time, but the stable was attached to him at the hip. As vital as all the second tier guys were, Ty made the stable. I will say this, though. There is a strong possibility that we may have never seen S.H.I.T. or Alex Bowen come on had you and James King stayed the full ride. I think King, Alhazred, K.O., and Ty were a solid stable as a four-man unit.

Since others are asking, What do you think of me in general? Since I already asked your thoughts on Hunter.

If WZCW 13' was a real game how long would it take for you to give Chris KO all the titles?

How did you come up with Chris KO?

You - I don't know much about you, but you seem nice enough. I know one time I accidentally red-repped you in the Book This! section and you flipped out in the lounge area. Other then that I have no problems with you. I may have the wrong guy, though.

WZCW 13 - Probably forever, because what is the point of one person having all of the titles? I don't want to wrestler 5 matches in one night.

Chris K.O. - He is actually one of the characters in the No Mercy fed I run. When I first joined the fed my character was Sam Masters, which is the big face of my No Mercy fed. Then, when I decided I didn't want to be face, I put in the request that Sam start going by Chris K.O. So, basically the character is a combination of the two characters.

Okay, let's have a go...

-Thoughts on Constantine.
-Thoughts on myself
-How would you book a feud between Constantine and KO?
-Future Creative Members?
-Rank these Fed Heads: Lee/Phoenix/Ty.
-How does you commitment to Creative rank in regards to everyone else's?
-Kingdom Come main event predictions?

Yeah I don't know why I got all mad about it honestly. I think it may have just been the stress I was under at the time in my personal life.

That's a cool story about how you came up with the name.

Have you ever considering coming up with a "knockout blow" type finisher to play off your name?
