Dark Match Winner
Alright so we all know theres just been some amazing tag teams some not so much.

So my question for all of you is Who in your opinion was the best tag team of all time (stables included)

My ansewer to this question is: The hardy boyz my reasoning for that is because wenever they came to the ring they brought lots of excitement with them and they had some of the best tag team matchs of all time. (especially with the Edge and Christian as well as The dudley boyz)

I was thinking of going old school, but I decided not too, I'm gonna with The Dudleys, I mean look at them... no matter what fed they were in, they quickly rose to the top as one of if not the best tag team on the show. They have dozens of tag title wins, and have been a team for a loooong time. To me they don't get old, I love The Dudleys and their accomplishments and the fact that they are still going strong is a testament to me as to why I believe they are the best tag team of all time, if you take everything into consideration.

The Hardy Boys don't have the list of Achievements to be the greatest tag team ever. Tag teams have to be sucessful, and entertaining to be the greatest ever. Take "The British Bulldogs" they never held much gold, but were easily one of the best inring workers, ever. But, because the lack of sucess and accumulation of gold. They can't really be considered the best, now can they?

As for my picks as the greatest ever?

Harlem Heat.

With a total of 10 world title reigns. You certainly can't count the two out. They had great inring charisma, and were awesome performers. Their achievements are:

WCW World Tag Team Championship (10 times)

As much as I hated them, and thought they are MidCard title holders. A man named NSL taught me to hold Team 3d in high reguards as one of the best tag teams ever. Their accomplishments are garnared all around from the world. Team 3d has held Tag Team gold 24 times. Their lists of accomplishments in the tag team world include.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
NWA World Tag Team Championship (1 time)
TNA World Tag Team Championship (2 times)

The Wild Samoans

With 18 tag title reigns, and some of the best agile 300+ pound workers I've ever seen. The Wild Samoans are easily in my top tag team classes. These two men have held favorite matches dear to my heart. Along with their manager, who appearantly eats chicken, while a match is going on. Funny as hell. The Wild Samoans list of accomplishments include.

Continental Wrestling Association
AWA Southern Tag Team Championship (1 time)

Gulf Coast Championship Wrestling
NWA Gulf Coast Tag Team Championship (2 time)

Georgia Championship Wrestling
NWA National Tag Team Championship (1 time)

Legion of Doom

These guys are my pick as the best tag team ever. They were great in the ring, and held immense amounts of sucess, anywhere they went. Good charisma, and wonderful promos.

You couldn't go wrong with picking LOD as your favorite, nor best tag team ever. They were amazing, and revolutionized what tag team wrestling was all about. Cheers to The Road Warriors.

people it can be none other then the Legion Of Doom. they are the only team to hold tag belts from every major federation. on top of that they were the ultimate bad guys but were faces how do you do that. they were one of the first smash mouth in your face teams ever. and they still are the best. there promos were gold. there in ring work was huge to say the least. they were very athletic for 275 plus tag wrestlers. Dudleys would be by next pick but they are not even close to the Legion Of Doom. how are these guys not in the Hall Of Fame yet is beyond me.

When you think of best tag teams the first tag team that needs to come to everyones head is The Road Warriors. In my view without them tag team wrestling would have never been as big. They set the standards and in the long run had some outstanding feuds and matches.

the road warriors are tops by far. dudleys are the only team that even comes close

Team 3D have done a lot but I feel there are so many other teams ahead of them. Road Warriors in there day were a far better overall tag team in my view.

I only wish these two teams could have one day worked a match. I feel the perfect setting was at a ECW event with hardcore rules. Man it would have been great.

I have two teams that are a tossup

1) The Minnesota Wrecking Crew: Ole and Arn Anderson were not only brutal but deathly efficient. They would go into a match and beat you down, grab a limb, and try to tear it off of your body. They were a team that no matter who faced them they looked at that team as if they were just two more people to hurt, and they usually accomplished their goal. They mastered cutting the ring in half while keeping each other fresh. To say that these guys were dominant in professional wrestling would be a gross understatement.

2) Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson: These two guys invented the art of manipulating the referee to being out of position. They were great in every way. They mixed brains, brawn, speed, physicality, ground and pound, all of it so damn well it was like the birth of what are now known as basic tactics that teams use today. If they weren't getting blackballed by Crockett Promotions and Tully hadn't snorted that cocain the day before his drug test in WCW they would be talked about as the greatest Tag Team of all time.

the most dominant team has to be the road warriors, hands down.
the best team i would have to say the hart foundation, they had best combo of mat technician and brute strength

They weren't my favorite but the BEST team ever was the Road Warriors. No team ever dominated and completely took over Organizations like the Road Warriors.

I'll through one out there. The Jumping Bomb Angels. They were a Japanese female tag team, who did sh*t half the men wrestlers could only dream off. They had some of the best combo moves around.

But the greatest ever is probably the Road Warriors. Though I was more a fan of the Steiners in their prime.

All GREAT teams, I admit I didnt read everyones though. Sorry. But in my opinion the greatest tag team off all time is a 3 way toss. I am putting it in 3 catagories. Carisma, Dominance, and Legacy...not Ted and Cody.

Carisma - Edge and Christian. Love them or hate them....they had carisma...Capt Carisma too. They were ALWAYS entertaining. A great team.

Dominance - The Road Warriors or L.O.D. - Power just raw power. But trust me The Dudleys are a close second in this race.

Legacy - This is truly a hard one. LOD could have made it here....Dudleys....Outsiders..the list goes on and on. But in the end it goes to The Brain Busters. For those to young to remember they were Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Two of the original Four Horsemen.

It's probably the road warriors but I want it to be team 3D. I mean one of the road warrior's had such an attitude he got up after like three piledrivers and just beat the other guy down. That's a little too insulting for my taste. Not saying team 3D have been choir boys but they're somewhat better then that. They also opended there own wrestling school. So they care about the future of wrestling. That's always nice to see.

Btw, harlem heat should be in the convo. Not the best but atleast in the convo.

You can't measure "the best" purely on gold... it has to be on impact... and in that battle The Bulldogs would win as they revolutionised tag team wrestling... Everything changed after the Bulldogs hit the scene...

A close second would be the Rockers, again because they were the best "pure tag team" out there, synchronised moves, look and chemistry... their AWA run alone would put them up there... I'd put the Quebeccers and Outlaws a close joint 3rd as they were also revolutionary in their day.. 5th would be another joint between the Rougeaus and Edge and Christian...

Road Warriors were a template muscle team until Animal thought of the pads... They were dominant cos they were pushed as monsters... same for the Steiners... not cos they were the best in ring team... I would really put them that low!

The Harts were great, as were Tully and Arn, but they were never more than the sum of their parts... The Rockers and Bulldogs WERE tag team wrestling personified...

...

So in your opinion the very forgettable Quebeccers and mediocre Rougeaus were better tag teams then The Steiners and Road Warriors.. I don't get that. They were pushed as monsters because the way they looked! They were the most believable dominant tag team in the history of Pro Wrestling. They had a lot of short brawling matches, because thats the kind of wrestlers they were expected to be and their promos were short and simple but completely effective. They dominated every where they went because promoters knew they were the best team to hold the belts for business.

The Steiners weren't even pushed as monsters. They were pushed as ex successful D1 Collegiate wrestlers who were tough to beat because their amateur skills. They were actually awesome inring performers and were huge where every they went. Very few people could throw a suplex as nice as scotty used to do in every match. I'll take the guys at the bottom of your list and put them at the top of mine.

1. Road Warriors
2. Steiners
3. Dudleys

I have to go with LOD. During the 80s and early 90s, I don't think many teams won as many renown tag titles in as many different companies as LOD. The LOD were big draws wherever they went, they were a physically dominant and exciting team to watch and even if they weren't the tag title holders for a company, they were still the stars of that company's tag team division.

For a runner up, I'd probably have to go with the Minnesota Wrecking Crew, Ole and Gene Anderson. No team was as dominant during the 1970s in the Georgia and Mid-Atlantic territories, two of the key promotions that would make up WCW, than these guys. They were brutal, efficient and had the overall wrestling ability to take on any team no matter how much younger, faster or stronger they might have been.

I'm kinda ashamed that no one has mentioned this team... the Midnight Rockers... I really loved this team, they were a great team that was seemless in the ring. Working extremely well with each other. They really help revolutionize the tag team division. Love going back and watching any match that Shawn and Marty put on... They led the way for high flying teams like the Hardyz and E&C... I doubt without The Midnight Rockers we would have seen that style of wrestling...

The Rockers were great. I still remember the days of the Rock and Roll and Midnight Express with Jim Cornette. I would have to go with Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson as the best of all time along with the Minnesota wrecking crew of course. Close second would be the Road Warriors and Demolition. Plus I can't forget The British Bulldogs or The Hart Foundation.

I have to go with The Rockers. No one brought more excitment to the ring than shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty. When you hear that music hit you are garanted to be in for a great match and they will never dissapoint. They also opend the door to HBK's career and we all know how good that turned out. Its just a shame about Jannettys.

The Rockers might not have the biggest list of achevments, but they always put on a show and made sure you never left dissapointed.

It has to be a battle between the Road Warriors and the Steiners, not tag team except for the Dudleys have even come close to what they've done.

if your talking old school theres the road warriors, the minnesota wrecking crew, fabulous freebirds, the british bulldogs,Hart Foundation, the steiner brothers, rock n roll express, The rockers, demolition,

in the modern era the hardy boys and the dudley boys, are the two stand out teams.

the two teams with the most potential are Beer Money and the motor city machine guns

everything this person said I agree with 100%
modern era you could add edge and christian in there along with harlem heat

To me, the hart foundation was my favorite followed by LOD/road warriors

the rock and sock connection hands down...lol

Yeah 100% agree! lol
But seriously..i cant believe no one has mentioned the New Age Outlaws.
In terms of most popular and entertaining, they are definately top 3.

But my pick would be either LOD or the Road Warriors. with special mention to the Rockers for changing the style of tag team wrestling..and paving the way for the Hardyz, Edge & Christian ect.

No other Tag Team in the History of Professional Wrestling has held more Championships over more Promotions than Buh Buh Ray / Bubba Ray / Brother Ray and D-Von / Devon. The Dudleyz are Tag Team Wrestling and they have the gold to prove it!!

i would have to go with the hart foundation, they had the perfect mix of technical and power wrestling, and it also was the catapult of bret harts career

I really love Tag Team Wrestling.

Best Ever is always subjective, and everyone will always disagree with everyone else but for me, in terms of actual wrestling then I would say probably

The Funk Brothers
The Brisco's
Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard

In terms of characters then I would go with

The Road Warriors
The Wild Samoans
Demoition
Abdullah The Butcher & The Sheik

In terms of best Face/Heel

The Funk Brothers
The Dudley Boyz
The Rock & Roll Express
The Outsiders

But my favorite team of all time is The Road Warriors.

My favorite teams of today are Team 3D, The Motorcity Machine Guns and Beer Money Inc
