The Doctor's Office

Torrenting ftw, but I prefer RARs. Torrents are good because they don't have to be split into parts. Got some Miyazaki movies from torrents, and some Polish Ambassador songs.

Man I watched those back in like 5th grade or something. Maybe even fourth. It was when I was living in Florida, at least. Brings back memories.

Now for a stranger video that makes me crack up:

The Polish Ambassador = Amazing running music. And amazing in general.

Night, everyone.

Lately I have been wanting to do things I haven't done in a while. Yesterday it was running, today I want to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And transfer my emulators to my portable hard drive. And watch the Sonic movie. And play Pokemon.

I didn't know you enjoyed running Doc, and yes, The Polish Ambassador makes absolutely perfect running music.

Also, Super Smash Bros Brawl, the ENTIRE reason I bought a wii. Though it was no Melee, if you noticed they slowed everything down, made it more user friendly, which hurt the competitive edge of the game.

I only like running sometimes, when it's nice and I have thinking to do.

I suppose if you're a hardcore competitor then Melee was better, but Brawl is still a ton of fun and you can adjust the damage ratio in order to fix that flaw. I think you can adjust speed too. And you can play as ROB! He's my best character.

I had tons of fun with that game, I still do, but they also got rid of bonus scoring, which imo was one of the coolest ways to score a fight, I was slightly heart broken after I unlocked every DAMN item only to realize that bonus mode was not coming back.

I played as Falco in Melee, but they changed his characters moves and such, so I switched over to Wolf who is pretty savage. ROB's lasers and other projectiles can be a bit of a bitch, he's got some extreme power.

I play Smash Bros. more for fun than anything. The number one thing I missed about Brawl was hacking the game to get to the debug menu. :p

The debug menu was one of the GREATEST things EVER. It was like there were no restrictions and infinite possibilities on how you could fight with friends. Metal Mario vs. Dark Link vs. Giga Bowser vs. Master Hand vs. Giant Samus vs. Yoshi (You could have two computer controlled players along with the regular four, using the debug menu) in an Adventure level was a blast.

<3 Debug menu

The thing that hurt Brawl the most in comp play is the fact that all the advanced techniques are to easy to do and the character tiers are too separated (ie. top tier almost never loses to Mid tier)

I was a lot more upset with the changes in Melee than I was with the changes in Brawl. Ness was the BEST character in the original and they totally messed him up in Melee.

The thing is, these games are looked at way too seriously. They aren't supposed to be for super competitive play. They're for friends to get together and have a blast hitting each other with baseball bats and lasers and FALCON PAUNCH!!!111!!!!11es.

Yeah, if you had an Action Replay. Gamecube Action Replay is one of the best inventions EVER. The havoc I used to wreak with that thing was hilarious and made every game of mine a million times longer. ESPECIALLY Wind Waker. Moon Jump, hyperspeed, I used to Sequence Break and screw the game up. The debug menu in SSBM made the game HUGE and even more fun. I loved exploring the places you weren't supposed to go in Super Mario sunshine. Did you know that if you jump high enough in any level, you see the whole of Isle Delfino stretched out underneath you? Amazing.

I agree Doc, but everyone nowadays wants to turn everything into a competition, and actually, Brawl is a pretty good comp game if you don't mind picking one out of four characters.

But yes, SSB was always meant to be more about fun, which is why I love it. Did you ever play One Piece: Grand Adventure for the GC?

I'm happy with Brawl. Much happier than I was with Melee's changes. But I'm not interested in higher level play on most fighters, so I don't rate the game on the same criteria that some of you might.

I get my Brawl on with Ness, Samus, and Pikachu.

Game & Watch's Judgment could win every war ever.

No, but I played a PS2 One Piece game called Grand Battle or something. It was a ton of fun.

Grand Battle was the game before it, just as fun, just lacked a lot of the fighters and character balances.

The Wii One Piece games are pretty fun too.
