The Doctor's Office

Scott Stanford is amazing.

During his sportscast on the news, he ended with "Speaking of the Preakness, you know how jockeys determine which racehorses are the favorites? They take a GALLOP pole."

He also said that "when asked about not getting a shot at the triple crown, Animal Kingdom (the horse) said bhbhbhbbhbhbh (horse-noise)."

Almost as good as Broski's on Broadway

Why did I get a feeling that it's just a matter of time before this tweet...

CMPunk
“@TobyH2O: I miss my brother @CMPunk its been to long! XXX” Brother! You'll be sick of me before ya know it soon.

...Is going to be considered news and people are gonna jump to the conclusion that it means Punk is leaving WWE

Hey Doc, you watch SNL last night?Lady Gaga was the musical guest, and did some sketches too.

Oh, and Justin Timberlake was the host. When he hosts, good stuff happens, Lonely Island gets a new song for their next album, and people laugh. This was no exception.

KInda thinking about starting my own Comics & all things comic related website, few issues though

A.)Have no idea where to start or even how to create my own site

B.)Not sure I really want to do this by myself, just seems like something like this would be more fun and esaier to do with other people

C.)No idea what I'd call it

...I do know I would want the site to feature a list of all new comics coming out, as well as reviews & news on comics, & any movies, TV shows, games, etc. that are comic related, also wouldn't mind hosting some podcasts up on the site too, as well as some links to other smaller sites/blogs that are similar, also want to set up a comic book of the week, and tpb/graphic novel of the month clubs for the site as well

So if anyone is interested in making this happen and can help with any of this stuff, or has any ideas of there own your help would be greatly appreciated...

I'd be more than willing to help out and contribute any way possible.

I (not so) recently got told that I was a webmaster of a website for the Leeds & Grenville Fire Department Mutual Aid, and Slyfox has been crazy good help with setting up a new website. I haven't had much time to actually put the site together, but he help get my computer ready
so I can actually begin working on it.

So if you want a full out website, he's your guy. If you want to do almost like Blogs and such, something like wordpress would work. That's what KB, Dave and Lee are using for their sites.

I'm not really sure what exactly I'm looking for whether it's more blog or a full on website, I would kinda like to be something like a water downed version of iFanboy.com, maybe start it out as a blog and then over time if it gets big enough or something then just build a full on website around it? IDK everything is still in the idea phase at this point, I defiantly want a few people helping to post news reviews, etc. on the site though, I just imagine that would be more fun and it would be nice to have a few different points of view on things in the site, especially with the book of the week/month clubs

I do want people to be able to comment on everything posted on the site, as well as an option to delete comments that are just trolling or people being ********s for the sake of being ********s, I basically want a happy friendly place to discuss comics and shit

Justin, try Wordpress.com. It's what I and many others use and it sounds like what you want.

And FunKay, I am definitely going to post on that one!

Was my question not good enough to warrant answering, Doc?

I mean hell, it was about Lady Gaga, I thought you'd at least notice it and thus answer.

in case you're wondering, my sadness is 100% sarcastic.

Doctor, did you know that ADR, Dashing Cody Rhodes (pre-disfigurement), Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase, The Bella's, and The Rocks (new) themes are all available on iTunes? I just found out now, thanks to them saying that ADR's was on iTunes.

Oh yeah, and still waiting on an answer to my earlier question.

Oh man, sorry stormtrooper, I've been REALLY distracted today. I'll watch that after the PPV and comment accordingly.

and yeah I did know about the themes being on iTunes.

No worries, as the white text said I was being sarcastic. It happens.

Did WWE ever say anything about it? Because the first time I saw anything about it was a week or so ago when they started putting a graphic at the bottom corner of the TV during ADRs entrance saying it's on iTunes.

I guess they're going the iTunes single route rather then a new CD.

So I went out earlier today just to get out of my house fora few hours ended up coming home with TMNT Smash up for Wii, TMNT Turltes forever, and the Serenity: Those Left Behind graphic novel, then got home in time for an epic PPV, Orton/Christian stole the mother fucking show, great show with loads and loads of mark out moments

Doc, I went into the Miz/Cena match thread in the PPV Subsection, and 3 posts in I had to stop as my brain was incapable of handling all that idiocy.

You, Brain, and Jack-Hammer have my eternal respect for dealing with that stupidity. Jesus Christ. People wonder why I never post wrestling. Posting wrestling ruins the fun of posting on the wrestling forum.

Oh yeah, and when you need a 5 minute break from dealing with those dumbasses, check out the video I embedded, you might like it (especially since it has Lady Gaga in it). Dare I say, when watching the video, she actually looked pretty decent (because she looked almost sorta "normal")

Played TMNT: Smash Up on Wii for a bit after the PPV, pretty fun game, I love that I don't have to use the Wii-mote & nunchuck to play it & can instead use my GC controller, beat Arcade mode on easy in about 10 mins. so I'll prolly never play on easy again, you play against other people online too, but apparently not too many people must have this game or play it very often, cause I went online and no one was there, someone else here needs to buy this game so I can online and kick the shell out of them, I'd say it's worth the $15 especially if you got friends to play it with

Yeah, it is.

Stormtrooper, I couldn't see the video you posted, it was removed from Youtube :( But I did see the Liquorville sketch.

So, I'm exhausted. I was out all day dressed like Macho Man, handing out Slim Jims and brightening peoples' days. I started out with thirty and after two hours was down to three. All in all it was a great success.

It's funny, because we were scheduled to have horrible storms today. I guess Savage elbow dropped them away when he heard of what I was planning on doing because there are NONE in the sky.
