Awesome day ahead of me today, first I'm headed down to the comic shop for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!!!! and gonna pick up WWH as well, then I'm off to THOR!!!!!!
 
I wanted to go see if anywhere near here was doing Free Comic Book Day, and I wanted to get a new headset mic, but it's gloomy and about to rain, so I can't walk, and I don't have a car.

Sad, sad. Maybe if it's nice tomorrow I'll go see Thor.

See now this is the perfect example of the type of day when I wished we lived closer together, I would've gladly swung by and took you with me so that I could share the joy that his epic day of fucking awesomeness with you!!!

Today has been so fucking awesome, Free Comic Book Day at my shop was so much more fun that I ever could have hope for, they had Star Wars character look-a-likes walking around the shop posing for pics and shit, and had 50% off all trades and comics (except the new releases), everyone was sooo fucking nice, & patient just all sorts of awesomeness, and then I was able to see Thor right after, and holy shit is that a fucking good movie, lots of action, some good laughs, and plenty of little moments for the fanboys to mark out over, theater was packed, but with really cool people that weren't annoying at all. Can't fucking wait for next years Free Comic Book Day!!!!

That really does sound awesome, it's like a comic book version of why I like going to conventions. Tons of great merchandise and fellow fans of the things you love to talk with!

Yeah, replaying it yesterday, Glover wasn't great, control-wise. Cool idea though, and I sure loved it as a kid.

I always wanted to play Snowboard Kids. No, wait, I rented it once and loved it. Silicon Valley I think I played on an emulator and the ROM didn't work.
 
Went to my local comic book store, and they were all out of free comics!!!

I did see Thor last night though, and it was very good. Top five for my favorite Marvel movies for sure. Like Justin mentioned, good action, good laughs but the BEST part was all references to the future Avenger movie were subtle and not jammed down our throat like it was in Ironman 2.

I should mention I really havn't read much Thor in my life, I think other than crossover shit, I've only ever read one Thor comic in my life, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the story in that issue either, that said I do think I knew enough about Thor to get alot of the subtle shit they do that only fanboys really know about, One thing that I'm beginning to look forward to more and more with each Marvel movie that comes out, is seeing how/where they're going to fit Stan Lee in, his little cameo in Thor was one of the more humorous moments

And for Free Comic Book Day, you have to get there early, I showed up right when the store opened and they already had a line around the block, I got in went straight to the tpb shelves and grabbed my World War Hulk tpb, I then looked to see if they had any Fear Agent, cause I've heard good things about that and have been wanting to check it out for awhile now, didn't know what else to get so I just picked up issue's 28-30 of Hulk, and a Venom shirt, and then got in the "free loot" line, which wrapped all around the store but move pretty quick, we were allowed to take two free comics, so I grabbed the Spidey one, and Locke & Key (a series I've been meaning to check out for some time now) then grabbed a Planet Red Hulk mini poster, and my free GL heroclix, which is currently sitting on top of my TV, I then hung out with Darth Maul and a couple Stormtroopers before jumping in my car and heading off to see Thor
 
I did stay past the credits, actually I just asked you the same thing on Twitter.

I forgot to mention Stan Lee's appearance, was my favorite one (off the top of my head) and I also forgot to mention that I marked out for Hawkeye's brief appearance in Thor!

I did manage to get the Green Lantern Helix, but that's it. There was three free comics left, but nothing that was worth getting.
 
Hm. It depends on how much it means to you, and how awesome it is. If it means a lot AND is awesome, go for it. Just remember that shit's permanent, lol.

Got any pictures of how you want it to look?
 
It's so me, and I won't mind it in the future. I definitely want it, it's just gonna be expensive.

No pictures either. I'll explain in Dave's thread once he finally asks for me to describe it.
