The Doctor's Office

Yes, I like your sig, Lee. Mozz, that's hilarious. Stormtrooper, welcome back. Do you follow Action Saxton on Twitter yet?

OK, now it's time for me to go shopping for my costume for this weekend. Going to a convention and my favorite band is playing live! I'll be dressing up as a character from their universe.

When I was in highschool we had a talent show, and I always entered my best friends and myself to preform. We decided to form a boy band, and we made up our own choreography. We did it as a one time joke, but it was a HUGE success and people kept wanting us to do it at a bunch of shows. We even "headlined" a fundrasing event (they put us on the advertisment to attract people to the event, and it was the biggest event held to date).

The next year they wanted us to do it again, but we wanted to make it different so we decided to do a reunion tour, where we got the boy band back together 50 years later so we were old men and did a choreographed dance involving canes.

The next year, which happened to be our last year at that school, we had zero interest in doing it again and our fifth member of the band was away at a track meet and couldn't make the show. You can't have a successful boyband without five members, so we thought that there would be no way that we would do it this year, and no way people would want to see it again. We just wanted to do something different.

People kept asking us if we would do it, and we kept saying no. People wouldn't buy tickets until we agreed to do it.

As I mentioned, Matt, our fifth member, wasn't able to make it so for our performance, we ended up making a cutout of him that was exactly to scale. We said that he was in the hospital because he was hit by a milk truck and was lactose intolerant and that this was a tribute show in order to raise funds of his recovery. We started doing a slow song for him, then agreed that he Matt wouldn't want it to be this way, then did a much faster and upbeat song.

Every time we did a "show", we ALWAYS did a Backstreet Boys song.

:lmao: :lmao:
So I read here earlier that Cole has gone from a good character to incredibly annoying. I couldn't agree more.
Yep. He should have lost at Mania or at least toned down afterwards. It's getting almost unbearable.

So I hate clothes shopping. Even though I ended up getting an awesome jacket and pair of gloves for about 35 dollars total, the whole thing was a huge pain because of Macy's incompetent and rude customer service representatives. Ugh.

I wanted to comment on Civil War but I haven't had time to reread the TPB and formulate my thoughts on it. I will one day...

You can always go back and comment on it later on down the road, that's one of the reason I wanted to give each event their own thread (that and it's easier to track views & posts) also the plot summery pretty much cover everything that happened in every one of the books in Civil War

And Funkay people should read some of the GL from that era, specifically that event as it was a fairly major thing, you had a guy who was the epitome of all that is good turn heel after witnessing everything he loved and cared about be destroyed, a guy that never faltered in his stance was pushed to the breaking point and broke, and broke in a big big way, this would be the equivalent of if a guy like Ricky Steamboat, who was face his entire career, suddenly turned heel, & didn't just become a heel but one of the top heels in the business, and destroyed every major face in his path

Never been a fan of the GL truth be told. Mainly a Marvel guy anyway.

As am I, outside of Superman, Batman, GL there is really nothing that interest me in the DC universe, and even Superman and Batman were just a mess last time I checked in on what's going on in those books, IDK what the fuck they're trying to do with Superman, last I heard he's just wonder the country, and then I saw they made another Doomsday arc (which I'm curious about, just not curious enough to pick up the individual issues), and Batman has just become the most convoluted mess I have seen in awhile, his Bat-family has just gotten to big, One of Batmans things is his inability to allow people in, or get close to anyone, now he's got this huge army fighting alongside him, the bat-family rivals the fucking JLA in shear number of members it's fucking ridiculous

Only thing I'm reading in DC right now is War of the Green Lanterns, and that's only cause I had a lite week and saw they were starting a new arc that looked to be pretty interesting, it's been pretty good so far, though I doubt I keep reading any of the GL books after I'm done with this arc (which wraps up in June I beleive)

MTFO

So glad to hear that not only are they not canceling MML3, they're doing that and really making it for the fans.

I lvoe the way that they are releasing it before completion to see what fans think

Yeah, I think it really confirms the stance they had that this was a game by fans, for fans, as a love letter to the franchise and those who never gave up!

*insert dramatic music here*

Just got home from Chucky Cheese, that was actually kinda fun, though I suck at skee ball, the Deal or No Deal game however is insanely addictive

Oh yeah and there pizza.. yeah still terrible

So, I just bought LBP 1 for $10 bucks at a gaming store, as I was leaving after pre-ordering LA Noire, brand new greatest hits Game of the Year Edition, an epic deal. What's fun stuff to do?
