I've finally realized why X says that jmt is hardcore underrated.

It's because he is.

I know that sounds obvious, but he really is underrated, unlike the people who say they're underrated or people who are said to be underrated but aren't really.

Seriously, the dude is one hell of a poster and a guy I have great respect for, and yet he barely gets recognized at anything despite being a mod.

Hell YES. Such a good album. Empire Ants is awesome, but I prefer "Some Kind of Nature" and "Rhinestone Eyes". Those two are my favorite songs on the album.

As an album, I think Plastic Beach is better than Demon Days although I think the latter has the better selection of songs in Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc, El Manana and DARE.

Although neither is as good as the original Gorillaz

Yeah, Plastic Beach sounds a lot more boxy and samey, but it's excellent. I cover that in the thread.

I wish I could think of some good ideas...

It's an official semi-fictional autobiography of Gorillaz. GREAT read, gives you some insight into the Gorillaz mythos as well as some real trivia about the people behind the band. Definitely worth a buy for fans of Gorillaz.

I really need to read more, I used to read all the damn time, when I was in rehab I kept a list and read literally 114 books in an 8 month span, since then I've read maybe a grand total of about 10 books and that was years ago. Last book I read was...hmmm...I believe it was American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, which I've already read before.

You like Bret Easton Ellis Doc? If you've never heard of him, well, go to your local library or your Amazon Kindle store and download/buy/borrow/steal a copy of Less Than Zero and also a copy of The Rules of Attraction. Shit changed my life when I was like sixteen.

Yeah the Kindle is really how I started reading again. It's so much easier to get books.

I actually tried checking out some Bret Easton Ellis a few weeks ago. American Psycho, I believe it was. The school library didn't have any of his books and the local library's copy was checked out. Next time I go back I'll be sure to try again.


I nearly punched out a kid for using gay slurs. He's lucky that I'm nice and the bell rang. Seriously, the quickest way to make me hate you is to be disrespectful. If I tell you I don't like a certain word, wouldn't it be nice of you to respect my wishes and just not use it around me? You certainly don't start saying it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
It all started because I was browsing WZ and he ket saying wrestling was "fake and gay".

Yeah, definitely check out BEE when you get the chance, amazing writer. Not surprised at all your school library doesn't carry him, his books are chock-full of drugs, sex, violence, etc.

Haha. This school library is pathetic. My old school's library had books by Chris Crutcher and I'm pretty sure it had a BEE book in there, as well as...well a lot of things. Even had The Complete Idiot's Guide to Pro Wrestling. That book taught me a lot. Also had a book series I wish I could remember the name of. It had an airship, and pirates, and the main character was called Matt and there was a girl called Kate...
It was slightly Squicky since my name is Matt and my cousin is Kate, but whatever.

I think I'll go download a sample of Rules of Attraction right now.

YES! Found the book I just talked about. It's called Airborne and it's by Kenneth Oppel.

I love reading about airships and sky pirates. Sky pirates are cooler than regular pirates. Regular pirates are cool too though. I read a book about pirates by Brian Jacques once. Pretty good.
