That would be awesome. Sheamus would be pretty good as the "lone warrior" type face.

Also, congrats, Ferb. You got the 4800th reply!

There's still 200 to go for it to get meaningful. But yay :D

Yeah agreed. Wade Barrett just screams heel. I hope they never turn him.

Agreed. Barrett should be a heel for life. He's just so good at it.

Though if you'll notice, if you watched the video package for the RAW Recall yesterday, Barrett seemed like the upstanding face whereas Cena was the angry heel :lmao:

Indeed. Also I thought from an outside viewer that just zapped onto WWE for the first time would think Wade Barrett was the seasoned multiple times world champion as well as the face.

He's definitely main event talent. Truly the whole package. Miles better than McIntyre. I have no idea HOW McIntyre got managed to be pushed over Barrett :disappointed:

It's all a matter of who looks at him I guess.

But I would say Barrett is getting the push now. Drew had the cocky backstage attitude that had people not wanting to wrestle with him or put him over.

John Cena of all people is working with Barrett. I'd say that means people wanna work with him.

Yep. All is right with the world now. The more talented man gets pushed.

Except for in the case of Edge and Christian.

Edge has talent, he just doesn't entertain me most of the time. Christian on the other hand has talent and does.

Yes of course. But it doesn't always mean that they should or should be pushed above the other.

People always scream "Cena's a no talent son of a bitch no good brawler with 5 moves of doom in his blah blah blah blah" but he's still deserving of the stuff he gets.

What is all this talk of McIntyre getting pushed better than Barrett? Or rather, before Barrett?

I think the WWE is quite right to have done it. Barrett has clearly gotten the better push out of things. McIntyre is struggling to hold down a mid-card place whilst Barrett is feuding with John Cena. If I had the choice of being McIntyre or Barrett right now, I'd pick Barrett, even if I did have to wait another couple of months longer for my push.

I agree. Barrett is getting the better push because he's the better wrestler.

I wonder, if Barrett was brought up as The Chosen One in McIntyre's place, and McIntyre was in NXT, what would have happened?

McIntyre doesn't have the talent to win NXT at all, but I believe Tarver did if they had used him in a different way. What if Tarver had Barrett's spot right now, and Barrett had a better version of Drew's spot (probably in the main event by now).

I don't think there would've been much difference. Wade Barrett might have been a world champion although.

Drew McIntyre was in place for the push that Jack Swagger got instead. But he had backstage heat. People didn't want to work with him and he was said to be cocky. Wade Barrett has yet to be reported like that. And John Cena wants to work with him (I already said that I know) So who's to think he wouldn't have gotten the original Drew push?

He has all the tools to main event, but he doesn't know how to use them. He's like a jigsaw. All the pieces are there, but they aren't put together right.

That's true Doc. He did have all the tools for it. And that's why I feel WWE's original plans were to push him to that world championship. But they realized due to people not wanting to work with him as well as the cockiness and lack of using the tools the idea was dumped.

WWE just keeps him active in the Intercontinental championship scene because they probably don't want to admit they screwed up.
