The Doctor's Office

I love Luigi!
That makes one of us. I have never been a big Luigi fan. Plus I played through the entire game and playing as Luigi won't give you anything new, other then a green clothed guy who jumps a little higher (I think), runs faster, but can't stop.

Good. EXE is a great series. Though you may have to get used to the Japanese names; I never had that problem since everyone on the forum I used to be part of used the Japanese names and I just fell into the habit of it.
I still am not used to the Japanese names. Plus in the game the father is a scientist, and in the show he's an explorer? WTF
Man Trigun is awesome, isn't it?
Yes, yes it is. Hence why I wish the show would keep going, I wish they would make an X-Box game, and I wish Vash would be a playable character in all fighting games. Imagine Vash in Smash Bros? That would kick ass.

No, the dad's a scientist in the show, he just has to go to other places round the world in order to research and show off his findings at scientist conventions.

Vash in a fighting game would be amazing. A Trigun videogame would be epic.

Pssssssh.

I really enjoyed Shaman King, back before Shonen Jump went downhill and then the dub came out. Great series, and Faust is completely fucking awesome and win.

Creepy motherfucker. Almost killing somone to fuck with Yoh's mind. Favorite anime/manga ever.

Have you read the KZB chapters Doc? THey aren;t out in the USA (or anywhere outside of Japan) but they've been fanslated online.

Nah I stopped reading a LONG time ago, because I had to move, my subscription to SJ ran out, the translation was getting shit anyway, and I just don't think to read comics/manga online.

Fair enough, I've pretty much only read it online. Ihere are no good comic book stores where I live. I'm a big fan of the dub actually. Not because it's exceptionally well translated (america = western desert, Chinese peoiple having more stereotypical british accents than the british character, Patch villiage => Doby Village, Hao => Zeke, Morphine => Chloe, Any of Chocolove's jokes etc etc) or anything, but I like it anyway. I like hearing what the characters say, rather than reading it at the bottom of the screen. Hell, I found NT Warrior tollerable, even if it's about as loyal to the games and japanese version as the Harry Potter films (and that's being too kind).

I'll leave the thread in disgrace now Doc.

Nahhh Dubs are OK. I prefer things dubbed, but only when they do a good job (Trigun, Studio Ghibli films, Cowboy Bebop, etc.). I wish they'd make a decent EXE dub, and other series'. I just don't see the point in changing so many things. I mean, the only reason the anime was brought to America was because the manga was so popular (or in EXE's case, the games) ...and then they change everything?! Ridiculous. If NT Warrior hadn't been censored and they kept names the same from the English videogames, and the voices hadn't been shit, it could have been awesome. Loved Mr. Famous' voice though.

So who in this thread agrees with me: Youtube is one of the greatest things ever.

I got English exam tomorrow, gonna talk about a project on boxing, and I wrote about the punching techniques, so I'm guessing showing the way the punches are performed would be a good idea for the presentation, Youtube can help me on showing the way they're performed right.

In short, I love when Youtube can help your studies.

Youtube is one of the best inventions ever, I must admit. You can find just about anything on there.

Exactly, I found a guy doing a walk-through on the different punches.

Plus I absolutely love that I've drawn my exam to be at 11.45, means I can 1. sleep a little longer tomorrow 2. I can practice it again tomorrow before I go to school.

I get to stay home and do nothing every day. Ah, Summer vacation! :p

Well, next week I'm going on a service project and won't be here. And a few weeks alter I'm going to a college-type-thing and don't know if I'll be able to have a computer or not.

I hate you :suspic:

I got 3 weeks of school remaining (for now) then I got 1 weeks vacation, then work for 2 weeks, then 2 weeks vacation, and then work until I'm supposed to have some kind of vacation again, but it most likely won't be until autumn.

Meh, I don't watch a lot of TV. Just shows that I store on my portable hard drive. I then can plug it into my PS3 and watch on there, which is awesome.

I don't watch much TV, but Slingbox is the only way I can watch my New York sports teams I like, because I don't get the station they are on in PA. I also use it for all my WWE watching, DVRing, and all that.

Well depending on if I have a TV and a roommate that lets me watch RAW, I may have to invest in one of those.

when I went to college, I invested in a computer with a TV card, and split the cable in my dorm room. This way we both had a TV, and I watched my wrestling and whatever else I wanted to watch without interruption. Slingbox is a more recent thing for me (got it last April). I would definitely recommend either solution. Slingbox is only 200 bucks, but you need to set it up to a cable box (or just plain ol cable i think) on a TV that isn't being used by the inhabitants of the house. TV card may be more money, but you get pretty much a perfect picture, and don't have the issue with needing a TV somewhere else too.
