Ted DiBiase Jr. or Cody Rhodes?

Ok. so we know the faction "Legacy" consits of Randy Orton,Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibase Jr. We already know what we can get from orton hes ready to carry the raw brand. but the other two members are young up and comers, decent mic skills, and decent in ring skills. But who will do better in the long run 5,10 years from now. I know some are quick to say ted i also agree but these last few months cody has been impressing me. So who will do better in the long run son of "the american dream" or the son of a "millionare"?

Personally, I prefer Teddy. I think he's got a great build, aside from his bulging neck. He seems like he's really taking his time during his matches to make sure he gets the timing right. I can't even say anything about his mic work because I've only heard him once or twice, so we'll have to wait and see.

But Cody... he's been doing great lately. He's learned a shitload from Orton. He's starting to look more and more comfortable on the mic, and he looks like he's been pretty comfy in the ring for a good 3 or 4 months. I'm glad that he's not paling' around with Manu anymore, because Rhodes and DiBiase look great together.

I want both to be great and make it big. I know most of the time one wrestler in a tag team is able to outshine the other but I hope this turns out like Batista & Orton(although they weren't an official tag team both worked together and became huge).

Cody has shown great potential and right now seems to be able to cut a better promo(although Ted doesn't get as much oppurtunity). For personal preference I could see Dibiase become huge. His look is better than Rhodes(who looks shrimpy compared to Orton, Batista, Cena). I just like Dibiase more but Rhodes could surprise. Like I said he has shown alot of improvement and as long as his move set grows and his character grows I could see him become big as well. But I really hope both guys become huge.

I agree with mysterio_fan. I hope both make it big. I really like both of them. Cody has REALLY improved lately. He is getting better in the ring, developing his moveset, and getting more comfortable on the mic. The only problem is he isn't that built, he is kind of scrawny. DiBiase has it all. A good build, a good look, good moveset, good mic skills, etc... Ted will probably be the bigger star of the two, but I wouldn't count out Cody Rhodes.

I think Cody Rhodes is the better of the two. THink about. Back when they first teamed together, Cody did more of the talking. Since Ted has been gone, Cody has improved so much and is even better then he was back then. Now ted's back and to me he doesnt match up with cody after everything cody has been doing since ted left.

So I think Cody is better now for sure, but in the future who knows? Ted just needs more time i guess

They'll both make it big unless WWE fucks them up with some shit storyline or fued, they dont look injury prone, Rhodes i think could be the next orton he is cocky, tall n looks like him alot although he does need to build up some muscle.

Dibiase will be a gun too i think if these to wre to have a fued he would be the face

Time will tell. As of now, neither Ted nor Cody flourish charisma- something that is seemingly very essential in North American pro-wrestling today. I'd say both men rival each other in this department.

Ted and Cody both have had some decent mic time, and niether really seemed to shine there either. Both get seemingly equal heat. I'd say Cody has a slight disadvantage because of his noticable lisp/speech problem.

However, I believe Ted Dibiase will go further in the buisness, simply because of his look. He has that "it" factor thats just hard to express on paper. He has that little something about him that will likely propel him further than his teammate, Cody.

In my honest opinion I'd chose Cody. The guy has grown on me since we first saw him. He showed he could put on great promos and I really enjoy his ring work. I do have a feeling he will not make it to the WHC, but maybe be a great IC champ who actually brings credibility back to the title.

Now I have liked Dibase, but his mic work bores me, and I don't see whats great about his ring skill. I do think that he will be a world champ someday because I've heard Vince was big on him, but if I had to chose I'd chose Rhodes in an instant.

They're both good, but for me it has to be Cody. when he talks, you can't help but to listen, where when Ted talk's, it feels like he is reading it off of a peice of paper.

I have always been a fan of Cody, and out of all the youngsters on Raw, at the moment I think he will be the one to go the furthest.

But give it time, Ted hasn't had that long to Improve or even show his true colours yet, its to close to call at them moment, but give it a year or two and we will see who is the better of the two. but for the moment it has to be Cody Rhodes.

I'm going to have to go with Cody "Wet Dream" Rhodes. When Ted first debuted I thought he was the shit. As time moves on however, I find myself gravitating towards Cody more. As I think Cody is the all around package. Good look, decent charisma, good selling ability and for his time he is great on the mic. This showed to be true once Ted left. Cody is the more well rounded of the two as of right now. Who knows maybe in time Ted will step up, and Im sure he will. But right now Cody takes the cake.

I agree with most that has been said. I think they'll both make it big. Ted Dibiase has the slightly better look, but Cody Rhodes is slightly better than him in seemingly everything else.

I'm really fond of both of them though. I'm always looking forward to any Segment they're in.

A few months ago I would've said Ted, but during his absence Cody has really stepped up. He's gotten better in the ring, his moveset is slowly becoming less textbook and more flashy (his new finisher is an example). His mic skill have improved too, he sounds more comfortable every week. What happened to his lisp? I haven't noticed it in a while, which I guess is testament to his improving mic work. The only problem I have is his build. He looks like a little kid who's been sneaking some of his big brother's steroids. That could hurt him in the main event scene, but as we've seen before, if he's great on the mic, the ring, and is over with the crowd, size almost means nothing.

I think DiBiase, but both will shine when one turns and they both fued as this will test thier charismatic skills.

I think it could really go either way but if I had to choose one of them I will say Cody. Cody has improved a lot overall since Ted was absent for a while. Cody has a flashier moveset, a better finisher, he seems more comfortable now & his mic skills are getting bertter everytime he gets the chance to talk. Overall I hope Cody & Ted make it big.

Cody Rhodes, Cody Rhodes, Cody Rhodes! I am a huge Cody Mark. The following I posted in 2007.

Well I've waited a while to say what I want to say about Cody Rhodes, I've seen enough matches of his to comment now. Cody Rhodes is a welcome breath of fresh air, he seems to improve week by week and I can see him going big places. However from what I think and what people have said I think the following needs to be done;

1) He needs to get out of the I'm son of Dusty Rhodes, I mean Goldust didn't do that, and I don't think he should be int he shadow

2) I think he needs to form a tag team with another midcarder (no idea who) and be brought into th tag team division, this will help him be built up, to see if he's ready for the big stage and this tag team needs to be a proper team (like Londrick, WGTT etc not two individuals thrown together)

3) Keep him on Raw, I think it's a disgrace that smackdown is seen as the lesser brand, more mid card talent on Raw please!

What's ahppened sincethen? He's used the fathers legacy thing to his advantage and is now in one of the best stables for a while!

He formed a tag team with Bob Holly, and that gave him a mentor to train him, and gave him the ability to break into the next level.

They've kept him on Raw, and that has been good for him and the brand.

With Ted being away, we really saw Cody step up a gear or two, his in ring work, his mic skills, his body language, his darn good looks, his charisma. All of it better than Teds. Add to that the fact he's a Zelda mark and it makes me love him even more!

This is pretty difficult because they are alike in so many ways. Cody Rhodes has the look and the skills to back it up, but he bugs me on the mic. I don't know, he just seems really forced. DiBiase is the opposite. Not so amazing in the ring, in my opinion, but he is great on the mic. He can probably play the solo heel better. And because it's what the WWE seems to like, I think DiBiase will make it farther just because of the character. He's not bad in the ring, just, Rhodes is better. I think they'll both do well, though. They will both probably make it into the title picture, and they both strike me as future champs. I really think these two will end up in a huge fued to headline some future Wrestlemania.

For me, it has to be Cody Rhodes. I will agree that Ted has a good look in terms of his size and shape but still Rhodes nails it for me. He has shown that he can perform in the ring which is something Ted has yet to do.. i suppose he hasn't really been given the chance but at the moment Rhodes looks better in the ring for me. Both Cody and Ted need more mic time in order to improve their skills but given time both will be good. Furthermore, Rhodes has really evolved since his competent yet slightly bland run as the boring Hardcore Holly's partner and the association with Randy Orton can only help both Rhodes and DiBiase realize their potential. So yes while both have potential, I see Rhodes going further- his look is good, his ring work is good and his mic work isn't bad and should improve with time.

I hated Cody when he first started, he definantly did not suit being a babyface. He has fitted into Orton's lacky role quite well, and looked v. v. impressive in the ring I have to say. I'm not really sure why priceless lost the tag titles, but they should be given them. If anyone has a chance of restoring some credibility it is these two.

Rhodes I think is more developed than people give him credit for, whereas Dibiase is still a lower mid carder, I see Rhodes moving up the card quite rapidly. And I think when the time is right we will get a Orton/Rhodes feud within legacy, which will be what propells him to the upper card, which IMO he defiantaly has the talent for.

They both have tons of potential and tons of work to do. I think DiBiase has the better look, but Rhodes has the better skill set (mic/selling abilities) but his attire looks terrible and he has the build of a 15 year old (compared to his competition). Ted has a head start, and I think they'll both be huge, but I think I'll like Cody better when they both flourish.

I think both will have pretty successful singles careers as time goes on, but I think Ted Dibiase will be the more successful of the two. Although I really don't see anything that stands out about him, nor has he ever had a memorable match yet, he has the look of a world champion that Vince likes and will play up on. Plus I even read some place that Ted Jr. is one of the names being thrown around to end Undertaker's mania streak in a year or two, but I'm not sure how true that is at this point.

Cody however deserves it more, he's improved like heck, is decent on the mic, and is good in the ring. He's come along way since his debut as a generic face a year or so ago. His character has developed a great deal where he is now a really good heel. I could see him with the IC title in the near future. Cody stands out the most in the Legacy when it comes to him and Ted.

Better right now-Cody Rhodes
Better in 5 yrs-Ted Dibiase

Rhodes is a great competetor no doubt, but i think in the end Dibiase is gonna win MITB and cash it in on Future WWE Champ Cody Rhodes, and then his career will take off from there

i think cody, when he first came, the first night, with orton and everything, i was like wow he is going to be so much more succesful than goldust, and as i continued seeing him i was like 5-10 years from now he is going to be on top, where orton is now. When i saw ted i said, (hey that rhymed) that guy sucks, i was reading all this hype on ted debiase, and i was like i cant wait, and he came out it was big let down, now they are both good, but cody has charisma, he has this attitude about him, ted just kind of looks like a dumb jock, like he would be perfect to play a dumb muscled jock on disney. Also, with the whole steroids issue, a smaller wrestler becoming big would be good for the wwe, and cody is no cena or batista when it comes to mass, but when he is at it with the big guys it seems believable, when i saw debiase and rhodes against cena and batista, the two blew me out of the water, they handled cena and batista well. So sorry ted, i think itll be cody. Thats my opinion and im stickin to it

I think good old Teddy. It's down to personal opinion with me. I just don't think Rhodes looks normal. His legs look deformed. Or maybe I'm just delusional. I hope they'll both make solid stars out of themselves though. I just hope WWE doesn't push them too hard, too fast.

I like DiBiase in the long-run for sure. Cody Rhodes definately has talent, but he just doesn't look like a heavyweight champion to me. Yeah, Rey Mysterio is small and got a run, but that's because the fans loved him (I don't) , and got behind the whole underdog, the-spirit-of-Eddie-helps-me-win gimmick that he had. Disregarding that, I just think Dibiase is the better performer and more could be done with him, in his career. There's been a lot of rumors about a next-gen. Hart Foundation with Natalya, D.H. Smith, and T.J. Wilson, so why couldn't there be a reincarnation of Money Inc.? I.R.S' son, Taylor Rotunda, is down in FCW and so is Ted's brother Brett, which gives him two allies that lay down the foundation for a stable. Give him the Million Dollar Championship and enjoy the show. Then they just have to find someone to be the next Virgil. Perhaps that Ezekiel Jackson guy could do it, since he kind of has enforcer gimmick going on with Kendrick.

At this moment in time im going to have to go with cody rhoads the guys has all the skills to be the top guy in the future just muscles and the right push same with ted i seen his work in fcw and the indy circit he is good as well but if wwe wants to elvate them more they both need at least one intercontial title runs or two
