Survivor Series: Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels

well i thought there was gonna be a screeew job but i was think maybe just maybe. jeff hardy will come him and attack orton to set up a hardy vs orton feud. which means hbk looses dq.

or kennedy comes in and attacks orton, turning orton face which will become a kennedy vs orton feud.

or edge comes in spears orton. setting a hardyvs orton vs kennedy fued. then at royal rumble edge should have the title. orton looses to hardy or kennedy. and orton interferes in edges match making edge loose the title setting up a orton vs edge wrestle mania match.

now i like the last one i really hopes that happens. it just means hbk doesn't win and will have to find something to do on raw.

If they do a screwjob, they won't have it with HBK turning heel, because that would force an Orton face-turn, and he's not in the position to become a face, even with that. If a screwjob like that happened, it would turn VINCE face more than it would Orton, lol, because people like Shawn.

Chances are, though, that Shawn won't win the title, even though I'd personally love it. The real question here if that happens is who will become the #1 contender? Are they going to repeat themselves and just have HHH, or are they going to finally push Hardy? Or, curveball, are they going to turn Kennedy face by having him beat Orton? Those are the three most likely candidates to take HBK's spot - and then who does HBK have to feud with? Umaga?

There are too many variables here to call it, but the one thing that matters the most in this outcome is who wins the HIAC match. The WWE does not switch the two biggest titles in the same night (if any), so if Undertaker wins the belt, Orton will retain, no matter what stipulations there are. As I whole-heartedly see Undertaker winning the title, I have no faith that they'll throw us a shocker and have both championships change hands.

Not necessarily. Just because he turns on him doesn't mean he has to turn face. Just stick him away from the title and put him in a match with another face.

I would hope they don't start a feud up with Hardy because we have seen this match on Raw about 300 times since Jeff's return. A Kennedy feud wouldn't be the best decision because Kennedy is still a little green in the ring and Orton does not have the ability to carry him. And why would they start up a HHH feud again. That is why I think they might, just might make Shawn win. Unless they come up with something different.

And as for Shawn feuding with Umaga, kudos to that idea. Umaga is so talented and Shawn is great too. A rivalry between them sounds nice.

Wrestlemania 21. John Cena and Batista both won the titles at a bigger pay per view than Survivor Series. So that plays no factor in the outcome.

I know they aren't going for a clean Randy orton win because they are not going to make Shawn unable to challenge for the title. I expect a Shawn win or a different route, maybe an interference.

I don't believe you guys understand the 'Montreal Screwjob' situation. Bret Hart was on the receiving end of the screwjob because he was quitting the WWE and going to WCW. Vince McMahon/Shawn Michaels was afraid that he might go to WCW and take the WWE Title with him. They could NOT have been able to stop him if he had, and since Bret Hart was being a completely immature whiner and refused to lose the title in Montreal, which is his home town, Vince and company decided to do something about it.
The 'Montreal Screwjob' was performed from a business point of view. People may disagree with it, and may despise everyone who involved themselves with it, but I believe those people have never run a multi-million dollar corporation. They have no idea of the pressure that is required of you to endure.

There is no 'homage' to pay for the screwjob. Nothing will ever come of it again in that regard. It was a very serious matter at the time, and I believe that if WWE re-encarnated it, the whole controversial situation would be bad for business, and with Congress already breathing down the neck of every talent member with a contract on file with WWE, the company does not need any more reason to bring unwanted/unneeded attention to themselves.

i like the fact that orton is champ but i think wwe needs to give him a better storyline. he does have the "it" factor but he just needs a better storyline, because wwe is making him look weak. wwe dont seems like they know what they are doing with orton, but he definatley can make a good champ, just needs a better storyline which will bring better matches. so whoever wins i hope they get some beter storylines, but i want orton to stay in the main events.

I think Shawn Michaels will use the Sharpshooter as his finisher if he gets the chance on Sunday because he's not allowed to use sweet chin music and because it's the 10 year anniversery of the Montreal Screwjob

Erm just want to inform you that the screwjob HAS been referenced and even re-enacted in different ways...the year after...The Rock locked Mankind in the 'shooter...and the bell was rung even if he didn't tap. And there have been other references/variations to and of it also...just wikipedia Montreal Screwjob if you want verification.

Now the match, I don't seee or want Randy to lose this match...him winning in a heelish way would just solidify him as the top heel on raw. Him losing in no matter what way would just destroy his credibility unless they're turning him face which won't be successful...he's a natural heel..the arrogance...cockiness OOZES out of him..even as a face:)

Anyway, WWE has a slight level of unpredictability currently, this could go either way...hope it goes in Orton's favor though

Orton has worked very hard and put on great matches. He deserves A monster heel gimmick, like he had before Unforgiven. I wish Orton was opposing the Undertaker or The Rock cause we all know that those two legends would make orton look great win or lose. Orton is the biggest heel in the wwe right now. Orton NEEDS to win clean for the good of wwe.

We all know that writers will not have Orton win clean.Shawn will probablly get fed up and superkick orton. It should end with a hangman ddt, or a punt or an RKO. CLEAN!!!

hope for a good match and a clean ending in favour of Orton.

Yes Orton must win by screwjob, I agree. How specifically it happens is what I would remember this match for and WWE could redeem itself for poor programming.

Have bret sitting ringside to act as a distraction. He doesn't have to do anything other than sit there maybe in a disguise. The announcers can't mention he's there until mid match. He only has to stand up and exchange words with shawn from his seat.

This would cause randy to either get the roll up pin, RKO or maybe even sweet chin music for the win.

Also seeing as edge is "bitter" have him come out at the end of the hell in a cell match and cut the cell open with that chainsaw they keep showing him with in the commercials.

.

Bret Hart was born in Calgary, not Montreal. He refused to lose because he thought he was a god to canadians

Orton needs to win this match and then the writers need to pull their heads out of their asses and go back to pushing Orton how they were for the majority of the summer time. I'm a huge Orton mark and they made him into a monster when they had him punt HBK, RVD, Rhodes, etc. Michaels knows his time is up in the ring and I just don't see him wanting to have the WWE Title. Especially since he didn't really want to come back yet to begin with.

What I would love to see and obviously won't happen. Is Edge come out and spear Michaels, giving Orton the win. Orton looks at Edge with a bit of shock, since the two "weren't on the best terms" after Rated RKO desolved. Then during the HIAC match or even right after it. Orton and Edge come out together and beat the living piss out of the Batista/Taker or the winner.

Would totally solidify the two of them as the two top heels in the WWE and their respected brands. If Orton got to punt kick Taker, it would kinda bring him back to his "Legend Killer" status and bring back the visicous monster everyone was loving during the summertime. It could even go as far as Orton and Edge "reforming" Rated RKO (even though they are on seperate brands) and have the two of them try to truely dominate over the WWE.

Oh well, a mark for heels can only wish something like that could/would happen.

i agree i believe that shawn michaels will win via sharpshooter to become new chamipon. The only way he wouldnt win is if someone comes out as a distraction e.g vince or bret hart. The Edge is bitter part will be him with a chainsaw n he will try n destroy the hitc and cause it to collapse on batista or undertaker somehow
