Stupid Spam Rules

wrestlezone has a crappy reputation. You visit other boards and all the do is criticize this board.

Jealousy.

You must be the only one.

I'm sure most people join WZ because it's got an easy name.

Nope. Same reason I joined.

THAT'S WHAT THIS ENTIRE FUCKING THREAD IS!!!!, NON-STOP BITCHING, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST DUDE, ALL YOU'VE AND MANY OTHERS HAVE DONE IN THIS THREAD IS BITCH ABOUT THE FUCKING NEW SPAM RULES NON STOP!!!!!!,

You did see the title of the thread, right?

I am an active member on two other wrestling boards, and each of them criticize the shit outta WZ.

It was confusing when everyone got modded lol. Especially you and Jonny, people got pissed at that lol.

Flames Out
Dragon

they got pissed at me being modded too, I've read the board room discussion thread >.<

Couldn't hack it?

Dude, it's a wrestling forum, it's meant to be fun, not whether you can hack it or not.

I'm saying that they either got banned for breaking the rules, or weren't a good enough poster to stay here. So, they blindly hate WZ, instead of improving how they post.

those forums are full of great discussions. If you ignore the dumb posts you see great discussions. Like 20 minutes ago I was reading a thread where three posters argued over Cena and Edge for like 2 full pages, and all were filled with great points.

A long post doesn't always make for good discussion. That whole debate started with a post that questioned Cena's sexuality, and brought up his superman shit.

Poster A basically said Cena is ***. Poster B went off on a little rampage about how Cena is good. Poster C said he wasn't as good as Edge, then Wham 20 posts in like 40 minutes.

I feel that if I comment on this, good or bad, that I'll find out shortly thereafter.

So, I'll plead the 5th Amendment. (Bascially, no comment.)

I'm British, there is no 5th.

My point is I was banned for a year, came back and now I'm a moderator (granted 90% of people think this is undeserved, but whatever)

I don't know how anyone can argue it's a bad idea, I joined the site in December and since then the quality of posts in the wrestling sections has improved a lot, I presume it's partly because people are less scared to post and that's a good thing.

We talked about this last night in here, and decided that the fear of being a bad poster, is what made a lot of us into better posters.

I don't really care about my posting...

If you don't like it, what are you going to do? Outside of ignoring it? :lmao:

So you would be happy if the rules went back to how they were, and there was 1 new post in the wrestling sections every couple of hours? In addition short posts can be good posts, i haven't seen the wrestling sections clogged up with spam either. Which means that A)People are continuing to make good posts despite the new rules, and B)The moderators have any bad or 'spam' posts under control.

Exactly.

They had it under control then, and it took a lot less of their time. I think the mods here do a great job, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the forums lately. And, the wrestling sections are busier now due to the time of year, and the fact the forums are being advertised on the main page again. No matter how slow they were, quality threads, and posts, got quality replies, and thus quality discussion was created. Wrestling was boring for most of last year, so there wasn't much worth discussing.

yeah because red repping someone is going to make them think twice.

It's not like there's anything else I can do from where I sit. This thread also has a lot of people on the same page as me, so apparently I'm not the only one thinking the rules need to be reverted.
