His eyes were open and as soon as he turned to his back Herb Dean was standing over him pushing Hendo off. At no time did Dean give Fedor time to defend himself. He was on top of them like a fat kid on a birthday cake. I'm not even a Fedor fan, but that stoppage mixed with Mauro and Shamrock's piss poor commentating is just pissing me off more and more about what just happened.

At first I was pretty shocked how well Fedor got up and looked after the fight. He may have stopped it early, but i still see why Herb decided to stop. But after rewatching again i agree that Herb should of gave Fedor a bit more time.

Dude, your right that fight was stopped way toooo early. I just had to see it one more time. And Dan Hendo didnt even land all the hits that i originally thought. Fedor got up just fine and in no way looked out of it. Even when he turned, he looked fine.

If Fedor was out, then Kongo was out when he fought Barry. It's a damn shame Kongo gets the benefit of the doubt over someone like Fedor, who is known for making legendary comebacks.

A lot of people I'm noticing just like Hendo too much to question the stoppage, which a part of me understands since I'm such a huge fanboy for certain fighters myself, but the fact of the matter is... that was an early stoppage.

Ignoring that and my disgust over it, I still must give props to both Hendo and Fedor who showed up to just knock each other heads off. It was amazing. I got kind of pissed at Hendo there for a minute for cage humping, but as soon as the fans started booing he let go and went back to war like a real fighter. It's just a shame it ended the way it did.

I'm sure it's been said but Fedor was out for a few secs before Hendo landed some bs shots to the back of Fedor's head then Herb had to pull Dan from Fedor as he was landing some more shots.

It sucks but from what I saw it was a clean stoppage.

I'd rather see Fedor lose than brain dead in 10 years.

It might have been an early stoppage, but it wasn't a bad stoppage. Henderson tagged Fedor, and Fedor fell flat on his face. Then, his body straightened out, which you never see a conscious fighter try to do when getting punched in the face. And if you look at it from the right angle, after Dean gets Henderson off, Fedor looks anything but coherent.


Fedor may have been able to fight his way back, it may have been an early stoppage, but I think it was still a good stoppage.
