I'm not going to even bother quoting anything SpoodBeast said in this thread, because of course, he reverted to playing the victim, defending himself over a point I didn't even make.
Look, I don't hate you SB. I'm not sitting here calling you a dick, and I couldn't really give any less of a shit about how you don't like or who doesn't like you on the forums. I'm sure we're all big boys now, and we can handle these problems with they present themselves.
What does bother me is the incessant talk about forum presence and rep, and talking about how underrated you are, when these are probably less relevant than anything to worry about on the forum. I'm not sitting here calling you a dick, because I like you and I like your posts. But I go into your BlogTV, and YOU have initiated the conversation about how your BlogTV gets more viewers than Doc's, who rarely broadcasts, as if it's something to be proud of, and it's ******ed.
The entire point of this thread wasn't to sit here and bash you, but it gave me a license to point out the fact that this collective attitude about the forum bothers me. The people who worry about rep, the people who worry about how underrated and how well-known they are, and none of this shit matters in the slightest bit.
And I can tell when people begin to take it seriously, and I decided to point it out to you so that it doesn't happen to you, a poster I enjoy, rather than not care and let you turn into some random drone on here, who cares more about rep than post quality.

It's not all I talk about, on occasion yes but not every episode. You have not been to everyone of my shows to prove it has. Most of the I'm "underrated" stuff is a running joke and it seems to always get a rise out of people for whatever reason. The only times I have ever mentioned Doc's show was in competitive comparison in a joking fashion. Again you may have been around to hear those whole two or three times but I have never talked about Doc in every show like you two are making it out to be. My comments are more controversial and are getting looked into way more than they need to be.
It almost sort of turned out that way as Doc flamed me quite a bit after it got posted. Sorry if my "collective" attitude bother you I don't mean for it too and I will stop horsing around if you guys are getting seriously offended by it. I know I'm not really underrated but I say it because it seemed to irritate you guys which was the main reason I said it, bas idea yea but I thought it was funny at the time. But I did not mean for some childish anger to happen over any of this and this whole thing still seems silly to me.
I have never cared about getting repped over the quality of my posting, so that statement is somewhat flawed. I always try to put in a post with decently informative as well as good in length. That has always been my main priority but I do talk about rep power a tad too much so for future reference I will try to shut myself up more often. I didn't mean for this to drag out into a huge war of the words as I was just having a friendly little show, but I now understand how I was in the wrong for using jokes that were obviously not right to use given the circumstances.

If this was all seriously a joke, then I am seriously mistaken, and I won't post in this thread anymore. But every time I HAVE been in your BlogTV, it's the same trolling session it always is. It was funny at first, but if you KNOW it gets a rise out of people, why do you do it? I don't think you actually knew it got a rise out of people, but I do think you thought you were joking and thought others were in on the joke, which is fine. It was all a big misunderstanding and there's nothing more to talk about.

When I refer to this "collective attitude," I mean, it's not just you, but quite a few other people. For instance, GD red-repped me for posting in the Jenks thread, like it was somehow going to stop me from posting there. It just doesn't bother me at all. When I get repped or red-repped, I take it as someone approving or dis-approving of my post, and I rep and red-rep people the same way. I don't take it as some personal attack on my personality.
This isn't really childish anger. In fact, there's no actual anger going on in this post. Do you really think people are sitting in front of their computers, throwing their fists in the air after hearing you call yourself underrated? I mean, you can think that if you want, but it goes back to your ego problem. You think you're getting this big rise out of people, but in reality, what's going on is, people are calling you a dick over the internet, with a completely straight face, sipping on drink, and then going off to do other things.
But I'm going to go back and give you the benefit of the doubt - I don't really think you intended to actually piss people off, and it's fine. It happens. No harm, no foul, but I didn't want you to turn into some random dick.
