Those "REAL AMERICAN HEROES" worked before, but people (such as myself and media outlets) will cry foul not cuz those storylines were pretty lame by the standards of today, but because I find the American patriotism to be rather sickening -- in wrestling, that is. Those "USA! USA!" chants are rather annoying (remember that one Justin Gabriel match on NXT?) Using American patriotism is a very cheap way to get pops cuz the crowds are usually f*ckin' stupid.

Besides, who do ya think they'll more likely portray as an American more? I doubt a few minorities, kayfabe or not. I'll be crying foul when the crowd backs the wrong person in a match -- the fans, not the wrestlers.

I'm dumb for making this thread bub? I'm just saying out loud what everyone of us thinking & knowing man! Yes this is the WORLD wrestling entertainment federation (what I like to call it). And "the all-AMERICAN AMERICAN" Jack Swagger just got a bottlerocket of push up his ass.

But the WWE pushing foreign stars at such a high rate at such a fast pace of time is just racist's self! I'm not racist at all! But the WWE what is a company ran & run by republicians. Who does business with people from outside the country. There is alot of money to be made by bringing foregin atletles into this country to make a profits out of (like Yao Ming in the NBA).

So I can see what the WWE is doing by this. It started with wrestlers like the Geat Khali and Umaga (R.I.P.) So I guess it really is working by taking these shots then!

I tell you what, put those wrestlers in against each other and I can damn sure bet what team would win. The Americans. Is it because Vince is biased towards Americans? No, it's because they're bigger names overall who make him more money.

Wrestling is an international industry, with shows and promotions around the world. To remain ignorant of scenes outside of your country, as a promoter, is short sighted and harmful as you'll miss out on opportunities and talent that a smarter rival promotion can easily swipe up. The last foreign born champion besides Sheamus was Edge, and that was over a year ago. The previous foreign born champion before Edge was Kane, over 10 years ago.
