Shawn Michaels doesn't deserve place in Hall of Fame??

Maybe not The Undertaker, but I agree basically to the rest. Maybe equal to Jericho/HHH. But not the best.



As someone who has seen basically every promo Shawn has ever used, I'll tell you this is bullshit. His promos are changed based on the feud and matches. They're not the same. If you need an example, look at the recent ones against first, JBL, then The Undertaker.



PLEASE tell me you didn't just say The Undertaker doesn't have a gimmick.



Apart from Tag Team wrestling.



Decent? He had the IC belt at a time more people began to care about that compared to the World title!



I doubt anyone will be more apprealing than HBK. He'll easily be the main name that year. Remember Flair's retirement ceremony? Shawn's will; blow that out of the water.

What I meant to say was that Undertaker had great matches that were non-gimmick matches. And when I say decent, I mean just a tad below great but way above good. Good < Decent < Great.

Never heard more BS in my life. HBK should be in the hall of fame not because of his fame but because he earned it. he wasnt someone force-fed to us fans. no matter what match he was in, he would put over both wrestlers and give us a hell of a show.

The only thing I can say about this thread is if you dont like Shawn Micheals you dont like professional wrestling. I'm sure there are a lot of questionable things he has done in his career, but most of it is in the past. In his current run with the WWE he has help push other stars futher up the ladder, and put on some of the best and most entertaining matches ever.
IMO HBK will always and forever be better than Flair.

Who will follow HBK is a different question, but I think safe money would be on Chris Jericho.

He most definitely deserves it! Very few deserve it more! The man is money & truly one of the greatest all around talent to ever grace the ring!

Shawn undoubtly deserves is place in the HOF.Bret Hart did not "carry" him in there matches(and I'm a big Hart fan). Was he also carried by Taker and Angle,in thier great matches?Was he carried by Cena in thier(enjoyable,but not on the same level as the matches mentioned above) matches. Did Orton,Y2j,and Christian carry him in his amazing ss 03 match as the last member on austins team? And serouisly I couls carry on pointing out great matches he's had forever, since his comeback after four years off(and he didn't show ANY ring rust) I can barely remember a HBK fued I haven't enjoyed. Also the booking for his mania match with taker was spot on. Why? because Shawn booked it. The guy is a legend and probalythe best ever in ring performer. How anyone could deny him his place in the HOF is beyond me.
PS: wrestling was going though a down period in 94-96 and when Hart was on top he wasn't drawing well ethier.

Anyone who thinks that Shawn Michaels does not deserve a place in the WWE HOF (even if the HOF is a corrupt and stupid peice of trash) then I suggest you watch some video tape of Shawn from 1993-1998, the guy has been one of the best and most consistant competitors that the WWF had and he has been doing his best to put on great matches as of late too. He is a multi-time World's Champion, plus he held tons of regional titles and tag-team belts, he has headlined a bunch of WrestleMania's and he has been in the ring with so many legends and rememberables athletes that the sport has ever seen. Shawn may not be a top ten of all-time kind of guy, but he's deserving of his place in the HOF, but since the HOF is such a crapshoot, I wouldn't put much stock into who goes or doesen't go into it.
