I thought the newspaper storyline was boring and overdone. I mean, all that just to show that a reporter is capable of lying? Really? Not to mention every reporter was one-dimensional.

The McNulty storyline was easily the most ridiculous and unrealistic storyline the show produced. And for the most part, it was uninteresting.

Marlo's ending was totally unsatisfying.

The only thing I liked about Season 5, honestly, was Bubbles redemption, Michael's growth, and... (another spoiler)

I loved Season 3. Stringer's storyline and ultimate demise, plus Hamsterdam, were brilliant, in my opinion. I just wish Avon and his crew could have killed Marlo at the end. But, in its own way, how that all went down was brilliant as well.

I did quite enjoy the whole Avon/Stringer thing. Don't remember being a fan of Bunny though, probably because of his oddly shaped head. Also I remember thinking how sexy Mr. Carcetti was.
