i've worked out why santino's not in the tournament... FEAR. he's the one man who can make vader quake with his smart put-downs and fear of the can of ass-whip being opened. he's too good to go in the tournament so he was left out to give the others a chance.

It is announced that there will be a 24 man Battle Royal featuring talent from Raw, ECW, and SmackDown at WrestleMania XXIV where the winner will immediately face Chavo Guerrero at the pay-per-view for the ECW Championship.

Santino might be in the ring with a chance to win the ECW title. unlikely given the tag push...but we can dream

Hey...what can I say, I try to be a saviour of sorts...

It seems as if they are moving towards utilizing him less and less which I find to be foolish. Santino, IMO, would be a fantastic canidate to take the IC title off of Jericho, in some sort of extremely cheap way, and then go crazy celebrating like he just won the Superbowl. Give him a decent run were he figures out somewhat comedic, and total BULLSHIT ways to escape with his title. And then have someone who needs to get over (KEENAADDAAAAYY) somehow trap him and just light him up LOL. I think a comedic IC run would be fantastic for Santino

i'd rather see him show what he can do in the ring. he's outstanding on the mic, anyone can admit that. kevin kelly even said he was good and he's worked with the rock. he needs to show what he can do in the ring.

Umm...Santino is gonna need more than one good match to make him look like he is capable of carrying the IC title (even though the title is pretty much meaningless at the moment), they'd need to build him up and have him prove he is good in the ring over the span of a couple months, otherwise it would be about as effective as having some random jobber win the belt, personally I still stand by my belief that Santino sucks and is vastly overrated by the IWC, who think he's great cause he can go in the ring and make an ass of himself, and I feel that giving Santino the IC title would just crush and prestige the belt has left, if they want to restore the title back to where it once was I think a Jericho/Kennedy feud would be the better option

i just said that. he needs a chance to prove himself in the ring. yeah's he's good on the mic, but he's never shown what he's capable off in the ring. until he does, he won't be IC champ for a while. a tag run with carlito i think is a good call for him to build him up as a genuine performer.
