By the way. You can also thank Triple H for the success Orton has got.
Let me tell you a story. A Randy Orton history lesson if you will.
Randy Orton was a NOBODY before joining Evolution. Then with Evolution he got noticed. Got a nice reign as IC champion. Lost it to Edge, then went STRAIGHT into the World Title picture. He then won the world title from Chris Benoit, Showed to the world that he couldn't carry the title at that time. So he lost it to someone who could, Triple H. He then went on to have a very lengthy feud with The Undertaker. He Came out on the losing end of that. Got Suspended Twice in a 2 year period. Then went onto form Rated RKO with Edge. Where he once again got noticed, shockingly they were feuding with DX. Who as we all know has Shawn Michaels and Triple H in that team. Then he went on to have a decent feud with John Cena for the title. Then at No Mercy 2007 he was AWARDED the title. Triple H comes out and challenges him, then beats him. This was done so Randy could actually become a 2 time WWE champ and not look so shitty with being awarded a title (Triple H had the same thing happen and it makes me sick.) He then goes and defeats Randy Orton in a very good LMS match that same night. Yes, it made Triple H look strong, but he is the bigger star right now. It also made Randy look good too. He then went on to have a decent reign, but the only memorable moments of it were Shawn Michaels returning, and Jeff Hardy swantoning off the platform. A decent run with the title, and he goes back to feuding with Triple H staying a constant threat to the title, both making each other look good while doing it. Triple H may have not put Randy over big time yet, but he has gotten him to this level, he has been the biggest influence in his career, besides the Undertaker. Randy killed his own momentum by being a fuck up and a dick backstage. Randy only has himself to blame for that, but he can also thank Triple H for reviving his career.
This concludes the history lesson on Randy Orton.
