Stoke got more than Liverpool actually. They just don't show much on MOTD. Which I can understand because Stoke aren't an exciting team.

Fuller is solid if he's with Sidibe. I'm hopeful Kitson will come good in the end. The lads on the football forum I post on tell me Beattie only scores from penalities, if that's true than he's a shit buy. I don't keep track of other teams so I don't know if it's true.

Fred was a hero in the French league, and he played in the World Cup. Scored a couple of times. Beattie is the classic too good for the Championship, too shit for the Premiership type of player. He is a poor buy. Fuller is in this category too, I always thought Kitson was good, but it is January and he hasn't scored yet. They need someone who scores headers all the time, because that's pretty much the only chances they regularly get.

Apparently he was awesome when he was at Southampton, not given much of a chance with Everton. That's what the paper told me.

The last match I went to was Chester v Notts County before Christmas. There was a female linesman, who was also a shit linesman and was therefore given some career advice by the crowd, e.g. "Why don't you fuck off and do the washing up?" and "Put the fucking kettle on".
